Spill the tea, what's the deal with you and the BSG group (avatar-chang and her squad in particular)?
Ok anon, sorry for taking so long! I wanted to get everything right and honestly collecting the posts took a longass time xD
Anyways, the only ones I have a problem there are avatar-chang, hexful/dykesia/bizukos, catrademption, cardboardseagulls (never seen interacted b4) and bizulas (also never interacted b4).
I’m going to be really transparent about this whole thing so it’s gonna be long as there’s gonna be several links and I’ve included the dates so it’ll be easier to understand. Since I’ll be fully transparent about this, i’ll probably get hate or whatever. Honestly, I just want to put everything out there without being biased or hiding anything. I’m going to disclose everything here.
So, the whole thing between me and avatar-chang started off with this post I made last year on 10 March 2019. Afterwards, she PMed me on the same day and this was the conversation:
Tumblr media
After that, I thought the argument was over because she blocked me lmao. The only ones I spoke to about this was nbw and my real life friends (who had nothing to do with ATLA lmao I just ranted to them).
And then the next incident I think was on 16 March 2019 when I made this post about Azula’s abuse of her friends. I was new and 16. I genuinely wanted to know why people labeled Azula as an abuser. It was dykesia who responded to me at the time.
Now, unlike avatar-chang, I had a few conversations with dykesia (who was bizukos then) that was generally civil. I first interacted with her when she made a post calling out Zucest shippers or something?? I was very new. Like fresh newbie baby ATLA tumblr fan new lmao so I thought what she said was too aggressive. I didn’t realize that there were actual Zucest shippers until after some time. And then she PMed me on 13 March 2019, saying that she doesn’t always agree on characters with me but I do write some interesting pieces on Azula— that she’s a huge fan of Azula but she just tends to stay away from her fandom. I apologized about the previous incident of the Zucest thing and it was fine after then. We talked about zuko, the fandom, the comics, Mai etc etc. I thought we were on fine terms.
And then I made a post about the cliff scene in the comics on 16 March 2019. Avatar-Chang made a post that was pretty directed at the post but it seems like she’s deleted it.
On 17 March 2019, I received an anon mail telling me that avatar-chang was talking shit about me behind my back. I censored her name then because I didn’t want to believe without any evidence. No one sent me any screenshots about it so I just dismissed it.
On the same day, avatar-chang answered an anon and talked about the 13 child post theory I made on 9 March.
On 23 April 2019, I received another anon mail about avatar-chang, asking if I’d seen the post she made about Azula. I censored her name again cuz I didn’t want to start any shit over having differing opinions. I’m assuming this is the post the anon was referring to.
On 28 April 2019, dykesia/hexful/bizukos PMed me to ask if I was talking shit about other people behind their backs, and her. I denied this because I hadn’t. This was how the conversation went:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yes, I didn’t censor any name because as I said, full transparency. I have afp blocked because we’ve clashed several times and he’d still come for my posts last year despite already being blocked. If you’ve followed me long enough, you probably would’ve rmbered that time lmao
Anyways during then, I don’t think I realized that dykesia was actually being passive aggressive. It’d been barely a year since I started the blog and I just didn’t want to full out make enemies. Reading the messages now tho lmao she really was passive aggressive. But yeah then she said this in bsg so I don’t even know why she bothered to ask me if she wasn’t even going to consider believing me.
Tumblr media
The 9th of June 2019 was the last time she messaged and it was to ask if I mind her discoursing this Zuko post while ‘hard and drunk’. It was the first time she could apparently agree with me so it was I quote a ‘Yay??’. Afterwards I don’t know when she did it but she blocked me lmao
On 17 July 2019, I received another anon mail telling me that avatar-chang publicly called me a bitch when she was answering an anon about me posting the scans of the EK Chronicles. She mentioned this in bsg again on 19 April 2020 lmao (she’s that petty) it seems:
Tumblr media
On November 8 2019, an anon (one of avatar-chang’s friends actually) asked about my thoughts towards the allegations against Aaron Ehasz. I still believe in the system of ‘Innocent before proven guilty’, so I didn’t side with anyone. I tried to be as objective as possible. When I said that I hoped men would also come forward, I said that because I don’t want men to just sit on the sidelines and let the women get the heat if they were telling the truth. At the end of this whole thing, I concluded that Ehasz was a dick of a boss to the girls. Being called an abuser carries more weight than just being a dick. Everyone has been a dick at one point, but being an abuser is something else. Just because Ehasz was a dick doesn’t mean I’m going to stop watching TDP or dismiss his involvement in ATLA.
The next day, BSG brought the issue up despite both avatar-chang having already blocked me by then lmao
Tumblr media Tumblr media
On 5 February 2020, after Legacy of the Fire Nation came out, I made a post calling out Iroh’s bs to Azula (guy literally blames Azula for everything that happened to Zuko (something which avatar-chang agrees with apparently, and Iroh even sees Ozai in a better light).
That’s so far what I’ve remembered that involved avatar-chang and dykesia.
Moving on to the next three attackers: catrademption, cardboardseagulls and bizulas.
I’ve seen catrademption around, but I don’t remember if we’ve clashed before. We must have though cuz she’s got me blocked lmao and I mostly only debate back to people when they reply to my posts. For cardboardseagulls and bizulas, I don’t think I’ve ever seen them them before but obviously they’ve seen my blog and misinterpreted everything I’ve written.
But according to them, I’m apparently a Azula apologist, extremist, irrational, toxic, coddles and woobifies Azula, justifies everything she does and invalidates abuse victims.
You can see the posts I’ve made to judge whether I actually am an irrational Azula apologist who blames everything on Zuko. One of the most recent posts I made about Azula’s character is this, and there’s still several more posts like that. Just search #meta or #analysis in my blog search and all of them will just pop up. I can assure you, I have never acted as if Azula has done nothing wrong or did everything right or whatever lies these people are spewing.
If anyone has proof that I’ve talked shit about people in the fandom to other people before, please, present your evidence. I highly think this is impossible because I actually don’t have many friends on Tumblr, nor do I usually initiate conversation because I’m awkward af.
I’ve also tried approaching those I recognized in bsg to find out more about the situation (and at least give my side of the story). Most of them have chosen not to speak to me LMAO but one of them who’s chosen to remain anonymous for their privacy, admitted that dykesia (hexful) forced them to block a blog before (after realizing they were interacting with said blog) and if not, they would be blocked themselves. I can’t post the conversation publicly because they’re afraid their speech mannerism will give away their identity. @space-sword has also shared his experience with avatar-chang on his blog and was pressured to cut off ties with ppb21 just to join the oh so magnificent Ba Sing Gay.
There’s absolutely no reason to judge someone based on their sexual orientation, race, color or age either. They rant about being discriminated against or being generalized or stereotypes but they’re the ones hypocritically committing these actions, and then justify their actions by saying ‘we’re oppressed, they’re not, so it’s not racism or discrimination’. And yet people still wonder why discrimination is still rampant LMAO
I can’t speak for the blogs they victimized in bsg, but I personally don’t agree with talking shit about them on a public server and then criminalizing them as if they’re actually predators. I also don’t agree with involving the blogs’ friends simply because of their association. I also don’t agree with demanding people to block blogs they don’t like because that’s just pure manipulation. That’s wrong and marginalizing people. Unless someone has actually been harassing or literally preying on people, then there’s no reason to actually go around warning blogs about them unless they’re asked about it.
If they feel uncomfortable about something? Then avoid that blog, filter their tags or even block that blog if they’re that uncomfortable—BUT they shouldn’t demand others to do the same just for their own benefit. It’s not up to them to decide what a person can or cannot see or who they can or cannot interact with. They’re not their parents, and they obviously have no right to pressure people into doing things they don’t want to. If they think it tactless that I shared the conversations? Oh honestly, a line was crossed when they spread shit about me so idc. If they actually feel terrible for being called out? GOOD. That’s what they should feel, because in no way was any of what they were doing right or justified. If they’re going to shit on me then expect to be burned because I’m not someone who’ll just shrivel in fear because they have a bigger following.

Necromancy in Earthblood society: headcanons and theories
( Wow, haven’t posted one of these before. Let’s see how it goes!)
Personally, I don’t believe necromancy is as unnatural - dare I say, unrealistic- and completely revolting in the tdp world as it is in D&D, any zombie-esque story, or Frankenstein (yes, I consider that a form of necromancy; get used to it). My reasons for claiming these examples as “unrealistic” is largely due to the use of corpses that are already in a state of decay. Rigor Mortis, the state in which a corpse’s muscles and joints stiffen due to the lack of oxygen needed to produce the chemical compound adenosine triphosphate (ATP) which is necessary for the relaxation of muscle fibers, sets in 2-6 hrs -depending on body size, sex, physique, environmental condition, etc.- and ends only when the muscle fibers themselves begin to decay. This means that a corpse is physically incapable of unassisted movement, much less eating/digesting brains. So, in order to avoid this mistake (which can be easily identified by looking up rigor mortis in Wikipedia or, you know, a freaking book! Mary Shelley lived in a time when this information was either difficult to find or being discovered; what’s Hollywood’s excuse?) a necromancer would have to do one of two things: require a really, really fresh corpse (like in the 1968 version of, “Night of the Living Dead” (the corpses had to have died recently in order to be reanimated));or be able to revive the organism on a cellular level, this would also require the necromancer to stimulate rapid cell reproduction in order to keep the revived cells from immediately dying due to the lack of oxygen, again. I have yet to watch or read anything that applies the latter form of necromancy (if you know of any, please leave a suggestion in the comments), or at least acknowledges it’s application. This is one of the first reason why I hope to god it’s implemented in, “The Dragon Prince,” universe. The second is how it can also be applied as a form of healing. That’s right my DMs and adventurers, your healer can theoretically use their abilities for necromancy and vice versa; let that sink in for a moment. This would further support my belief that Earth mages are capable of healing, just a different form of healing than would be used by Sun and Ocean Healers (I’ll write a post to further discuss what these different forms of healing are, I swear). Anyways.... that’s theory/headcanon thingy #1 of this list. (Just gonna tag @dragonprinceofficial , in case anyone finds this particularly interesting....couldn’t hurt, right?)
Necromancy, of this sort, cannot bring dead loved ones back. The brain is one of the first organs to decay minutes after death, which means that the memories stored within those neurons would be lost; even if those cells were revived, the explicit and possibly implicit memories of the subject would likely never return. Of course, since this is probably an exhausting process and would require a lot of time to complete, the necromancer would have to prioritize the neurons responsible for respiration and circulation of blood in order to keep the revived cells alive throughout the ordeal (kind of like an internal, natural life support machine...actually, if Xadia has the technology for life support machines that would take a load off of the necromancer/s; instead of immediately worrying over the neurons, they could focus on regenerating the major organs then go back to the brain later on......wait, no, that’s a tangent...getting back to the point), which means that even if the person died only a little while before, it would take even more time for the necromancer to finally regenerate the parts of the brain believed to store explicit/implicit memories. This isn’t taking the spirit of the subject into consideration. We know that spirits do exist within the tdp universe, the creators have even stated that it’s possible to communicate with these spirits via moon magic (though they also stated that some most magical abilities are not exclusive to a single primal source, but that’s not important right now). But can an earth mage call the spirit of the individual back into the body? I’m going to assume not since spirits or souls are not typically considered part of the “natural-earthy” world, but the ethereal one. (I am not in any way an expert in neurology, biology, anatomy, or any other scientific field. All of the above is based on my very limited memory of anatomy class and quick fact checks. Do not quote me on anything. If you are an expert and see a mistake, please, correct me.)
For the reasons previously mentioned, I believe Earthblood elves would outlaw the resurrection of the recently deceased; for the sake of the individual’s family and friends. It’s too much for grieving loved ones to handle, even if necromancy is normalized within their society. Perhaps resurrecting elves, period, is taboo, simply because of ethical concerns. Of course, some, if not many, would likely disregard the established laws in favor of exploring new regenerative spells; perhaps, even attempting to create chimeras from multiple corpses. If my assumption that Druidic orders exist within Xadia is correct, then it is likely that mages whom dabble in this practice are either excommunicated, rejected, or forced to hide their research and experiments by their elders.
All mages gifted with Life-earth magic (spells that focus on flora and fauna) have the ability to learn necromantic spells. Botanical mages have an easier time with necromatic spells, that’s how they revive dead plants. However, neither party can preform necromatic spells in a different field (Botanical mages can’t revive animals, and Zoological mages can’t revive plants).
NECROMANCY IS FREAKING HARD!!!! You know the amount of studying it takes to keep humans alive? Doctors are required to have an intimate understanding of bodily functions, including cellular reproduction. Healers in the tdp universe would probably also require this knowledge along with spells and accompanying runes. But you see, the healer’s patient is alive. That means that their body is, for the most part, keeping itself alive. Which allows the healer to focus on the main issue. The necromancer is literally bringing their subject back from the dead. They not only need to know how the body works, or which spells will sustain the subject; but also which parts need to be revived first, which other organs are required to keep others alive, which veins and arteries to reconstruct, how many capillaries will be needed to deposit nutrients to the revived cells, how to reconstruct an organ from literal mush, which bacteria is good for the subject and which needs to be purged, and the list goes on, and on! Necromancers need to be a specialist of specialists, in a medical sense, in order to make a reasonably functional being. Then, one has to take into account the amount of magical, mental, and physical energy required from the mage to perform each and everyone of the spells on every single structure within the body in succession. It wouldn’t surprise me if this was why dark magic was created in the first place! I’m not even sure Aaravos could pull something like this off by himself. Of course, if the mage doesn’t want a self aware lackey, they could cut corners in regards to the construction of the brain; possibly leave out the appendix, one of the kidneys, maybe part of a lung, probably the voice box, hair, pituitary glands (in regards to human subject)....if longevity isn’t a priority of the caster, then there’s much that can be ignored to save time. It’s quite possible that, in the end, the reanimated subject won’t even appear as they were meant to.
I might add a second part to this list later on, only time will tell. Feel free to ask any questions regarding this and other post, or add any of your own headcanons/theories; I’d love to hear from y’all! I hope y’all enjoyed.
Thank you for reading!

Summary: Junko gives Matsuda (poisoned) chocolate and Kamukura eats it. Komaeda is given too much chocolate by his classmates. Matsuda wonders about the three of them. TDP-verse. I guess.
Rating: G
Warnings: Mentions of hospitals/medical stuff. Junko poisoning chocolate in the background. Matsuda’s language.
Notes: I wanted to write something short and sweet for Valentines Day and this is what I came up with. It just kind of...ends so I guess it’s in the style of one of my ficlets, just considerably longer. Still only about 2K tho. I’ve had this idea for a while and it’s cute, they’re cute, so I was just like “eh let’s go for it”.
***Alternate Ao3 Link***
Commission? Donate?
“Spit it out.”
“Nnn...”
“FUCKING SPIT IT OUT!!!”
“Nnnnnn.”
“DO YOU WANT TO FUCKING DIE, YOU IDIOT?!”
Matsuda cursed colorfully, squeezing the other’s face harder and still getting nothing more than that impassive expression and a rigid, stubbornly shut mouth. It was definitely, abso-fucking-lutely like dealing with either a stubborn toddler or a dumb, misbehaving animal.
“For fuck’s sake, Kamukura,” he hissed, digging his thumb into the corner of that stupid, stubborn mouth. “Come on. Spit it out or else.”
Kamukura, just to spite him, swallows. Matsuda, actually taken aback, flinched with a sharp gasp. And then, he smacked Kamukura hard upside the head. Kamukura was barely affected, as per usual.
“I do not know why you are so concerned,” Kamukura says simply. “I am immune to most poisons.”
“It’ll still make you SICK, you fucking idiot!” Matsuda screeched. “Also—what kind of fucking dumbass knowingly eats poisoned chocolate anyway?!”
Kamukura hums, rubbing his cheeks, at least.
“I was curious as to what she could concoct.”
“She’s not out of the fucking fire, either,” Matsuda grumbled before spinning Kamukura around and shoving him forward. “Come on. We’re going to the hospital.”
“Matsuda Yasuke, that will be unnecessary.”
“Did I fucking stutter, asshole?” Matsuda gave another harsh shove. “Rather than talking back like the little bitch you are, you’re going to be formulating ten-page apologies to me for the fucking trouble you’ve caused.”
“Mm...” Kamukura moved, at least. “Very well, then.”
Matsuda rolled his eyes and kept on pushing for his own sake, grumbling as he did.
Seriously, what even the fuck was that?
The worst part is that he knows how much of a fucking nightmare it’ll be telling Junko off later.
I usually just toss her chocolates because I know better but the one fucking time I neglected to do so... Dammit, did that bitch plan this or what?!
God, Matsuda was so angry he wanted to scream. But he needed to hurry because the last fucking thing he needed on his head was Ultimate Hope getting sick in the middle of the damn hallway on his watch.
Urgh. This week is already off to such a shit start.
--
It only makes him feel a little bit better when Kamukura is in a more sullen than usual mood afterwards. He’s only slightly relieved that in the end, Kamukura wasn’t all that affected by whatever the shit Junko cooked up. But he couldn’t take risks and thus, the poison had to be extracted and thoroughly filtered out, which was never a pleasant experience.
It was Kamukura’s own damn fault. Just what the hell was he thinking?
The scientists say that his thinking goes beyond human comprehension, but I can’t help but think he’s just—a fucking idiot.
Still, with how Kamukura was pouting, Matsuda supposed he felt a little bad. But only a little.
“If you wanted chocolate that fucking badly, I could’ve given you one from one of the reserve girls,” he sighed, shaking his head. “And if you were that damn curious about Junko’s then we could’ve gotten it analyzed. You really, really shouldn’t have just eaten it.”
“What would you have done with it if I hadn’t?” Kamukura asked. “Would you have simply tossed it in the trash?”
“Uh... Obviously?” Matsuda made a face. “Did you think I’d eat it out of obligation? Like fucking hell?”
“You have done unreasonable things for her before,” Kamukura pointed out and—ouch. That stung a little.
Probably because it’s true. Urgh. But...
“I wouldn’t let her poison me,” he muttered. “I’d draw a line there.”
“I see...so you do draw lines...”
“Everyone has limits, dipshit. People aren’t absolute in anything.” Yes, people are always capable, but... Seriously? Is that really what he thinks of me? Gross... I feel so gross... “I mean...”
“They say love has no limits,” Kamukura said. “That when someone is important to you that there is nothing you will not do for them.”
“Yeah... That’s a load of bullshit. No one’s actually like that.” A pause. “Oi. Are you seriously curious about that? Love?” Matsuda cringed. “I don’t love Junko. Not like that. I don’t love anyone. Not... Like that.”
Disgustingly, he can’t help but get a little flustered about it.
It’s the fault of this shitty consumerism holiday.
“Boring,” Kamukura said.
“Yeah,” Matsuda agreed lowly, head ducking further. “Super boring.”
But I guess at least I get free chocolate out of it... Even if it’s going to backfire when I refuse to buy anyone candy for White Day.
Kamukura seemed rather quiet, which wasn’t unusual and his expression was unreadable as always. His stride didn’t change, nor his posture—Kamukura Izuru really made for a convincing robot with human skin.
He might as well be that.
And yet, Kamukura just ate up chocolate that he left lying on his office desk like a child. Or a dog. Maybe a cat.
Cats are way cuter, though. But...
“If you weren’t such a weird damn cryptid who only lurked in the shadows, I’m sure you’d be given your own chocolate,” Matsuda said, huffing as he folded his arms back. “But I bet you would’ve stolen mine anyway, huh? Jerk.”
“Boring,” Kamukura repeated. “Obligation or affection—I have no need for such frivolities.”
“It’s consumerism, not necessity,” Matsuda replied. “It’s supposed to be frivolous.”
Although, sometimes there’s good chocolate to be had. Murasame has surprisingly good taste.
“Boring. So boring.”
“Yeah, yeah. Geeeez.” Matsuda groans. “God, what can even be done about you?”
--
And then, this happened.
“Matsuda-kun! There you are! Oh.” Komaeda’s once bright smile comes crashing down like weights from a snapped cable. “Kamukura-kun.” For what it’s worth, Komaeda does manager another smile, albeit one that’s stiff with unenthusiastic formality. “Greetings to you as well.”
“We don’t have an appointment today,” Matsuda said, unimpressed. “Don’t fucking tell me that your jackass classmates chased you away again.”
Komaeda shook his head with a laugh.
“Oh, no, no.” His shoulders shake and Matsuda realizes that Komaeda is holding something behind his back. “Um. I actually just got embarrassed and before I knew it, I ended up here, aha!”
Embarrassed? Hah?
Before Matsuda could ask, Kamukura speaks up.
“You were mortified by simple obligation chocolate? Is that really all it is?”
Ah. Komaeda flinched as Matsuda’s lashes lowered. So they offered him that, at least. And this guy—was still taken aback.
“U... Um...” Komaeda is still flustered, too, shifting and shuffling awkwardly. “Earlier, the girls got together and made chocolate for the class... And they didn’t forget me... I was so happy but also so ashamed for causing them such trouble...”
“Oi, oi.” Matsuda strides forward, reaching out and pulling at Komaeda’s cheeks. “Just because it’s called obligation chocolate doesn’t mean they were held at fucking gunpoint or whatever. You have no reason to feel bad, dumbass.”
Komaeda whined as he pulled.
“B-But...! Someone like me...!”
“I’ve met your fucking class, Komaeda,” Matsuda hissed. “You’re in the higher tiers, at least.”
“N-No way!”
“Haaaaah? You calling me a liar?”
“N-No!” Komaeda gasped, aghast at the thought. “N-No, no...! I... I-I... Uuu...”
Matsuda let go of him, grumbling and crossing his arms.
“Just fucking accept the damn chocolate. It’s free so what are you complaining for? You’re rich so I doubt money for White Day is even remotely an issue.”
“Aha... Haha... Receiving anything from someone like me might just be...” Komaeda trails off. “Gross...”
“You really are boring,” Kamukura remarked. “Your self-deprecation follows such a predictable and unrelenting cycle. Does it not get exhausting?”
Komaeda twitched, clearly a little irritated with how his brow pinched even as that smile remained.
“...I don’t really like sweets,” he went on, ignoring Kamukura entirely. “And they gave me quite a bit. I was thinking I’d share it with Matsuda-kun.” A pause. “But I guess Kamukura-kun can have some, too. If he wants, of course. Oh, right, Kamukura-kun doesn’t want anything.”
Matsuda snorted. Komaeda turned away with a huff, finally looking like the prissy elite he was.
...it should piss me off, but when it’s Komaeda...
“I will take some, then.”
“E-Eh?!” Komaeda jolted. “W-Wait, seriously?!”
Kamukura just took one of the chocolates from him.
“Thank you, Komaeda Nagito,” he said coolly, to Komaeda’s sputtering face. “It will be boring, I am sure, but I do appreciate it, all the same.”
“B-Buh...!”
“I guess I’ll take some, too,” Matsuda said, shrugging as he plucked up his own. “Did they give you any dark chocolate?”
“Oh, um...” Komaeda hesitates, looking down at what remained. “Actually this is...dark. Yes. I ended up with all three types.”
“Then you can keep that,” Matsuda said before turning to Kamukura. “Oi, if what you grabbed was white chocolate, you have to switch with me, got it?”
“Boring.”
“I’m taking that as an ‘understood’. Dick.”
Komaeda’s lips twisted, but Matsuda pulled him towards the patient bed so that he could sit with them, with Matsuda in-between. Komaeda blushed a little at their shoulders touching but Matsuda and Kamukura, of course, were pretty unaffected.
Externally, at least, Matsuda thought irritably. Internally, on the other hand...
It’s aggravating how he was just a little flustered at how Kamukura nibbled at his chocolate, at how Komaeda ended up chuckling before unwrapping his own.
“It’s nice,” Komaeda said. “Being together like this. It’s almost like we’re a trio of friends! Oh, but someone like me isn’t deserving of someone like Matsuda-kun as a friend.” Pause. “Also I don’t really want to be friends with a false hope like Kamukura-kun.”
“So boring,” Kamukura hummed.
“That poor attitude doesn’t help,” Komaeda huffed. “Matsuda-kun’s prickliness is cute, but you’re so dreary, Kamukura-kun.”
Matsuda nearly fucking choked.
“E-Excuse me?!”
“I didn’t say anything,” Komaeda said innocently.
“Ugh.” To forget about it, Matsuda just began wolfing down chocolate. It was sickeningly sweet. Enough to make him puke. He couldn’t get enough. “This actually isn’t half-bad. Fuck.”
“It is mediocre,” Kamukura said, popping the rest into his mouth. “However... It was made with enthusiasm.”
“Don’t fucking talk with your mouth full,” Matsuda snapped before swallowing. “That’s just rude.”
“Ahahaha...” Komaeda’s smile fades. “This really is nice.”
What’s up with that face?
Komaeda doesn’t elaborate. The one damn time Matsuda is half-itching to hear the other ramble at unnecessary length. It might be a sign of the dementia treatment working wonders in giving Komaeda a sliver of restraint and self-control, but—Matsuda couldn’t help but be seriously annoyed at how clearly deep in thought Komaeda is.
But I could probably figure it out if I really wanted to. And why should I care? I’m this kid’s babysitter, not his best friend. For him and Kamukura both... I really have my hands full...
For not the last time, he wonders if things will really be alright.
Not just for my sake but... For these two, as well. When we all graduate, will we still be together like this? Shit, gross, that’s so...sentimental.
Matsuda shook his head and finished up his chocolate.
“...so sweet it’s sickening,” he mused. “Just how I like it.”
Komaeda giggled.
“Maybe I should make you chocolate... Oh, but if I did that, you’d get food poisoning for sure.”
“Then Kamukura would love it,” Matsuda huffed. “So make some for him if you do.”
Kamukura perked up at that.
“...Komaeda Nagito’s cooking skills are incomprehensible.”
“I-I’ll look up how to make it on the internet, first,” Komaeda grumbled, a little red-faced. “I still don’t approve of your existence, Kamukura-kun, but I would rather not make you sick.”
“If you want to get your stomach pumped again, be my guest,” Matsuda said coolly.
“You really shouldn’t, though!” Komaeda exclaimed. “That’s just an unpleasant experience, Kamukura-kun!”
“...I am aware.”
“Then you really shouldn’t do it!”
After we’re done at Hope’s Peak—I wonder what’s going to happen to us?
“You both,” Matsuda said, rolling his eyes. “Are really fucking noisy.”
I guess I wouldn’t mind continuing to look out for them.
“You both really need me, after all,” he added, with that thought in mind.
Kamukura huffed, but Komaeda jumped at that.
“E-Eh?!”

TDP: Camping edition
This is superrrr long sorry, but it was really fun to write and I hope it’s fun to read. Maybe I’ll do more headcanons soon :)
Ezran has been bugging his dad about going camping for ages, because of how exciting and adventurous it seems to him
“Ezran, in reality it’s just sleeping outside in the dirt it’s not that fun.”
“No Callum, it’s an adventure!”
King Harrow surprises them one weekend when they wake up to find all the camping gear, and their dad in his signature I am a Dad going Camping™ clothes.
“Dad…what are you wearing..?”
Soren obviously agrees to come, and drags Claudia along, who protested against the idea, but came regardless.
It’s a literal heat wave outside and she’s in all black.
Oh yeah and Soren brings Marcos along, who is usually the peace maker when Claudia and him fight
“Claudia you are going to die in the heat…and then I’ll be able to say I told you so.”
“Shut up Soren, I’ll be fine.”
“Please don’t bicker too much guys...I don’t want to get a migraine like last time.” (poor Marcos)
Rayla agrees to come, but isn’t really too sure what the point of camping is
“So we go outside…set up tents…and sleep in them…for fun?”
“THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I’VE BEEN SAYING.”
Marcos and Soren are both pining hard for each other
And Claudia is just watching the gay disaster unfold
“So, Soren, are you uh, an outdoorsy kind of guy?”
“I’m gay”
“What?”
“I mean– yes. I am that kind of guy.”
Rayla just looks at Claudia like “Why are they both such disasters”
Claudia gives a shrug, smiling, and Rayla smiles back and whoops they’re gay too anyway moving on
King Harrow is that guy who sings those annoying road trip songs on their way to the campsite:
“99 bottles of magic on the wall, 99 bottles of magic, you take one down, magic it around-”
(Literally everyone except Ezran, who you bet your ass is also singing along) “STOP”
Callum is lagging behind because he likes to take in the scenery as he walks.
They get to the campsite and begin to set up.
Harrow helps Ezran, and so does Callum.
Claudia is scanning her spellbook for a spell that will put the tent together quickly--
But by the time she finds it, Claudia has already set it up:
“Oh…thank you”
“You may not have got it done otherwise”
Soren is Struggling™ but you know, our boy is too prideful to audibly ask for help.
Marcos sees him and just silently walks over, shows him how to do it, gives a charming smile with those gorgeous soft eyes of his, and then walks away (so it seems like Soren did it himself)
Soren is just smitten
King Hewwo tells the kids to collect some firewood, and Rayla, being the badass she is, is just running and jumping and swinging through trees like spiderman
“Oh my God she’s so…”
“Claudia, put the heart eyes away, and saliva back in your mouth–”
“Shut it, Soren!” But she’s blushing so like, he knows.
Ezran builds a little house for Bait, out of sticks and leaves, and so of course Bait is living the Good Life™
King Harrow already has his deck chair out, sunglasses on, just chilling in the sun with a cold drink by the time they get back from collecting what they need for the fire.
As the sun begins to dip below the trees they decide it’s time to start up the fire and Ezran and Soren are pumped, because marshmallows.
Callum’s already opened the bag and started eating, but Marcos saw and stopped him before he ate all of them.
Claudia hates marshmallows, so she came prepared and brought the ingredients to make bread so she could cook it over the fire (she also brought jam)
(Rayla) “Claudia doesn’t like marshmallows?”
(Soren) “Yeah she’s a monster I know.”
Harrow suggests campfire songs, but everyone is very against that
Claudia suggests they tell ghost stories instead (“I have a good one too!”)
“Oh God no.” (Soren)
Callum is all for it, Ezran is hesitant but braves on, Bait is asleep, Rayla is like “sure”, Soren has heard enough already (living with a living ghost like Claudia means you hear scary stories a lot), and Marcos is oddly quiet.
(King hewwooo) “Perhaps it would be best if we didn’t–”
“It was a dark and stormy night.”
“Alright-y then.”
Despite the super cliché beginning, it’s a captivating and very ominous story, and Claudia is a very good storyteller.
Soren is half asleep, because he’s heard this one at least five times, but becomes more alert when he feels a weight shift closer to him.
It’s Marcos--
“I sort of hate scary things.” Marcos leans closer to Soren and well, Soren is in low-key Gay Panic™ mode but convinces his mind to get his shit together
(GayPanic! Around the campfire)
“You can like, hold onto my arm, or something if you think it’ll help…if you, really are like, really scared--”
“Oh my goodness thank you, yes I am.”
He can’t feel his arm by the end of the story
So worth it.
Though in reality, it was never really finished, but King Harrow stopped it midway through (Claudia got carried away) when Ezran was huddled up next to Callum (whose arm was also quite numb because of the grip his brother had on it) just saying “No no, please don’t let Dr. Dark Magic steal my bones Callum, please no, please no–”
“Claudia look what you did, you made Ezran cry–”
“I am not crying Callum!”
And Ezran isn’t
But Marcos is.
“Woah, dude, are you OK…?” (Soren)
“I like my eyeballs in their eyeball sockets.”
“Me too man, me too. Now could you um, let go of my arm?”
“I could.”
It takes Soren nearly 10 minutes to pry Marcos off of him; not because it was difficult, but because he’s gay and didn’t make the effort.
Rayla is just amazed at Claudia for coming up with that:
“Wow, your mind must be so beautifully twisted to come up with something like that..good job.”
Claudia, huffing out a little giggle: “oh you know, it’s no big deal…”
Obviously Claudia tells Soren all about it, and he’s just–
“She called you twisted, and you’re giggling about it? I mean, what kind of compliment is that–”
Callum gets no sleep because Ezran is too afraid to shut his eyes
(“But he can’t get your eyes if they’re closed !!!”)
They use Bait as a light source so it isn’t completely dark in their tent too, and they talk for most of the night.
Soren gets almost no sleep because Marcos is scared and fidgeting, and he’s an awkward gay in a tent with the guy who numbed the feeling in his left arm, and who he likes.
“Soren, are you OK? I can hear you hyperventilating?”
“I’M GAY FOR YOU”
“What–”
“I mean– I’m…ok…how about you… ah fuck it. Alright…I like you.”
“Thank you.”
“????”
That’s how he confesses. Sorry I don’t make the rules.
Rayla and Claudia sleep just fine, as does King Harrow.
The next morning, Callum and Ezran are half dead (Callum told Ezran a cool, happy, and not at all scary story to ease his fear) and Soren and Marcos are running on gay energy alone.
Claudia knows something has happened (“SOO, you and Marcos…what happened?”)
“He admitted he liked me, and was like totally nervous and–”
“Soren you liar, that was you.”
“You said THANK YOU.”
Rayla just chips in with “You’re both just dorks.”
Ezran gets a piggyback ride from everyone, because he is literally exhausted--
First King Harrow, then to Callum, then Soren, then Marcos, then Rayla, then Claudia and all around again once more before they get back
Rayla picks up pretty leaves on the way back and gives one of them to Claudia
Bait just hops along happily to King Harrow’s terrible tunes.
Claudia nearly walks into a tree, busy looking at he spellbook, but Soren tugged her out the way.
Harrow makes Claudia promise the next time they go camping she won’t traumatise Ezran and Marcos with her stories.
behind her back, she crosses her fingers

Animation Reviews: The Dragon Prince
Hello again lovelies. T’is once again I. Don’t know why I’m pumping these out so fast except that I find them to be really relaxing for me. Which is probably why they are so terrible and if you can read my ramblings with anything resembling enjoyment you are a better person than I am. Anyway...the next show that I want to talk about is The Dragon Prince, a show that has really blown up in popularity and deservedly so. Once again I’m going to try to avoid spoilers as much as possible because I feel everybody should see these shows and judge them for themselves. Anyhoo, here we goooooo!
Characters: This is a major strength of this show right away, especially for me. It’s pretty much common knowledge at this point but the creator of The Dragon Prince was one of the head writers for Avatar the Last Airbender and boy does it show. Just to be clear, I mean that in the best possible way. The Dragon Prince has a huge cast that it juggles very well. To try to keep this section under control I will just be focusing on what could be considered the main characters but know that all the characters in this show, from the mains to the sides to the background, all give the impression of being well rounded and fully realized. So with that out of the way, onto this mess of a section. The main trio Callum, Ezran, and Rayla work off of each other beautifully and balance each other out. But what is most fun to watch is how they both do, and don’t, fit into stereotypical roles. Ezran (the crown prince of one of the Human Kingdoms) is the heart of the group and also, one could argue, the wisdom. Despite his young age he is adept at reading people’s characters and makes his judgements on that rather than the biases of the world in which they live. His decision to trust people and his compassion drives the story forward and it is his actions that get the ball rolling. Watching his interactions with his older brother Callum will also give you a case of the feels. Once again, sibling relationship done right. Rayla, the muscle, uses her combat (read: awesome elf assassin) prowess to get the group out of many a tight spot. But that’s not all Rayla is. Her sense of humor is sarcastic and witty and she is the source of both the most heartbreaking and side-splitting moments in the show. I don’t think I can oversell what a complex character she is and how much she will steal your heart. As for Callum, oh sweetie. I suppose if you had to label him, he would be the brains of the group, but as with all these characters, he is so much more than that. Awkward and unsure of himself, he is a character who doesn’t know what he has to offer, while unwittingly possessing powerful potential. I just…*wipes tears from my eyes*... love characters like this. He is also a bit of a goof and his back and forth with Rayla drives both the humor and their character development. All of the characters in The Dragon Prince are like this though. Although you can technically slot them into character tropes, they are really much more than their assigned role. They are complex is what I’m getting at. The other main characters to note are Soren, Claudia, Viren, and King Harrow. Soren and Claudia are a brother and sister duo who are truly a joy to watch. Their popularity is enormous thanks to their complex relationship with each other, the wildly different relationship they each have with their father Viren, and the fact that they are giant walking memes. Soren is probably the closest thing the show has to the stereotypical “all muscle but no brains” character type. But as I keep saying over and over again, there is more to him than that. He has his moments of sweetness, protectiveness, and an incredibly relatable moment of stress-eating that made me absolutely fall in love with him. Claudia is a mage in training, frighteningly powerful but goofy and more than a bit spacy. Together they are a dream team of hilarity and, for all you fanfic writers out there, tons of unexplored potential angst. Ugh. I could go on about them all day but I suppose I should try to get to a few more characters before I head to story town as this section is already becoming more of a train wreck than I could have ever imagined. Viren is the character everyone loves to hate, but once again as with all these characters, I feel that there is more to him than meets the eye. That’s all I’ll say about him at the moment as I don’t want to get into spoilers. King Harrow is a fantastic father to Ezran and Callum, with his relationship with the latter producing some most excellent feels. I’m going to group the last characters together even though they each deserve their own spot simply because The Dragon Prince has a huge cast (as stated previously) that are all, say it with me now, really complex. Aunt Amaya and Gren are two notable standouts of the side cast, as is Runaan, the stoic but lovable leader of the Moon Elves. But this section is taking up way more space than I was originally anticipating so let me just leave you with this: all the characters in The Dragon Prince are fun and ~complex~ with plenty to talk about with each of them and enough of them for everyone to find a favorite (or a dozen favorites in my case).
Story: The world of The Dragon Prince is very high fantasy, what with all the elves and dragons and magical creatures running amok. That said, it does do a few new things with this very familiar setting. First of all, the conflict driving the plot and world of Xadia and the Human Kingdoms is surprisingly nuanced for a kid’s show. Not too surprising when you remember that it’s from the same writers as ATLA, but even in that show there were very clear “good guys” and “bad guys”, especially in the beginning. In TDP (I’m getting tired of typing The Dragon Prince over and over again) however, who the “good guy” is and the “bad guy” is muddled. The humans do a bad thing and the elves and dragons do bad things in return. No one is really the unambiguous good guy or bad guy which leads to both sides feeling justified in doing terrible things to each other. It’s messy and all too real. Which is why it is so important that our main trio (two humans and an elf) are the ones who try to right a wrong together, in order to demonstrate that peace and cooperation can be attained and that war is not always a foregone conclusion. It’s not smooth or easy and there is still much to reckon with on both sides, but there is hope for the future. So, with that little preamble out of the way, what is the story of TDP? It is essentially a retrieval mission to get the titular dragon prince back to his mother after he was thought to have been assassinated but was instead kidnapped by the humans. This doesn’t seem like much of a plot, but this allows for the world of TDP to come to life in the form of the places and people met along this journey. I don’t want to get into spoilers so I won’t say much more about the plot for the time being. Just know that sometimes simplicity can lead to the most ~complex~ storylines and character development. Now, it is time to move onto what could be considered the elephant in the room when talking about TDP.
Animation and Character Design: Sooo….the character designs in TDP are actually quite lovely. Everyone has a distinctive design and color palette. The colors in particular have special meaning to the characters and are a good showcase of both their personalities and where their loyalties lie (look at Callum for an example of this, his mixture of reds and blues is quite thematic about how he feels out of place in this world as well as giving a little nod to the politics of the Human Kingdoms as well). The backgrounds also deserve a quick shout-out. They are beautifully detailed and a real treat to the eye. As for the animation, well, it appears to be rather hit or miss with people. I admit that I did not care for the animation until about halfway through my first time watching (yes, I am a huge nerd and have seen the show three times and counting) because by that point I was so engrossed in the story and characters that the animation hiccups no longer mattered to me. On my second watch, I didn’t have any problems with the animation at all, most likely because I was used to it at that point. And really... it’s not that bad. Sure, it could be smoother in some places, but it is overall serviceable and even glorious in some places. The action scenes are particularly well served by the animation. And this is coming from someone who has expressed her displeasure with 3D or 2.5D animation that tries to look like 2D in the past. Plus, if it bothers you too much, but you liked everything else, the creators have gone out and said that they are going to work hard on making the animation smoother next season. So yeah. I guess that about covers it. I feel like I only barely touched the surface with this show. Especially with the characters and all their **~~complexity~~**. I highly recommend this show if you are a fan of ATLA, enjoy fantasy, enjoy adventure shows, enjoy fun character writing, and enjoy world-building. The Dragon Prince pairs nicely with some popcorn and soda or other such snacks and is available on Netflix.

cluna hi i’m such a dumbass. i was waiting for your response for days missing you but then i realized you DID respond and i just didn’t see it. yikes. anyway HI!
guess what? i started playing genshin impact and i LOVE it. i’ve only played a couple hours though and i’m so surprised at how well it works on mobile. sadly i only have a macbook so i can’t play on my computer but WOW! as i played i hardly noticed it was a mobile game it’s super fleshed out. the world is insanely beautiful. i’m still on the prequel though but god i’m super excited to see how the game will pan out. once again, your rec is amazing and i love you for it.
dude it’s still early so take a long and nice break first before considering studying!! she-ra was so beautiful they handled that show so perfectly... 🥺 are you gonna watch any other shows? also do you have any plans for christmas and new years?
9-10 haha! that’s like... late spring for us. lucky you i’m so jealous though. but no i get you, warmth can sometimes be too overwhelming that sucks. i think summer is mostly loved bc the freedom and the ~good vibes~. spring and fall are superior. they are beautiful n the leaves look beautiful.
i did listen to one ep last night while i took a late night walk!! that was literally everything i was searching for!! i listen to true crime pods mostly in my language (they r very developed n good) but i search a lot for english ones too bc those tend to have more detailed information and varied cases so this one was perfect!!!!!! plus it’s australian so there’s even more new cases to discuss. i love the australian accent too it’s so beautiful... so i’ll definitely be listening more. ty! also enjoy conan 🥺🥺🥺 hes the childhood bae 🥺🥺🥺
how many years will you be in uni? is it the normal 3-5 years? if so, you better get those goodies and experience campus to its full potential 🔪 especially during fall!!
THE SHOT 🥺 BAKUGOU.... TODOROKI!!!!! ok i love that it’s a shot of bk yelling and td just calm and collected. it just shows their personalities perfectly.
they did! but god... i’m like impatiently waiting for the next seasons we’ve already waited a year and counting for season 4 so hm... at least they aren’t rushing with the story so that’s a plus side. (+ i’m sure corona messed the timeline up too n there’s nothing you can do about that sadly)
well, now it’s like 3 days later (i fucking hate myself for this lmao) and it’s 2 pm so i’ve had multiple sleeps since!! hope you are having a good day!!! cant wait to hear from you. <33333
fjdjcnkskskdnc that’s alright hello marriage anon!!! hru 🥺 i missed you too in the meantime ahah
NICE!! that makes me so happy to hear omg. i didn’t even know it wasn’t available on mac? damn that sucks. but i’m glad you’re enjoying it on mobile nonetheless! isn’t the atmosphere just amazing? and the music is so good too. i can’t wait for you to explore some world! a new update with a new region came out yesterday, and i am Struggling with it AHAHHA
thank you for the reassuring words <3 it’s just been ingrained in me to always be on the grind i guess LOL but i’m def still chilling!! i hope you are too 😌😌
i started watching descendants of the sun (korean drama) bc i know how popular it was, but unfortunately...… not my thing lmaoooo. otherwise, i’m considering watching the great pretender or starting a korra rewatch while i still have a netflix trial!
no real plans for christmas or new years, probably just a nice meal with family! i’m going into the countryside for a day trip next week tho, so hopefully that’ll be good! how about you?
spring and fall >>>>>>> indeed! 🌸🍃🍁🍂 i think a lot of the trees around my neighbourhood are evergreen trees tho, so i don’t really get to see the autumn leaves or jump in a pile like people do in or shows or movies. have you gotten to do that before?
yessssss that’s so good to hear! ooo what is your language? and what a multilingual legend! damn you must have such a wide range of cases to listen to then. and yep!! i got into it because a lot of the cases were australian, it’s really interesting learning what’s happened here in the past! and ahahah the host does have a nice voice doesn’t he.. i can’t hear the australian accent tho which brings up the question i always wonder: if i spoke to foreigners would they think i have an aussie accent? imo i’m just.. neutral nothing like the hemsworths but maybe!! i haven’t started conan yet but!!!! i also found it on netflix so soon hopefully~
yup! 3 years. but i’ll hopefully be doing postgrad med too, which adds another 4 years. plenty of time to get acquainted with at least the science/med side of campus and ofc all the goodies!!! how long is your course?
YES!!! their dynamic 😩😩 and then my fave concept: they’re all stoic and cool on the outside but with each other bakugou is a big softie and todoroki is big Dumbass who does all sorts of ridiculous things to get bakugou’s attention <333333
oh noooo it’s been a year already? but you make very good points it’s good for them to take the time needed and ofc safety for everyone too! still.. bring back tdp for marriage anon asap 😤
that’s good to hear!! ALSO??!??!!??!?!???? i woke up to your lil ko-fi gift this morning and?? ily??? tysm???? i’m??? 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 you’ve been a better part of my year too! pls treat yourself for me these holidays!!!! you deserve it sm 💗💖💘💕💞💖💓💖💗💘💕💞💓💖💝💕💓
