i want to make a list of all the mundane domestic things batman (1966-68 television series) bruce wayne and dick grayson are shown doing before running off as batman and robin because i cannot stress enough how much it means to me that they just companionably spend all of their time together. the love and admiration and intimacy between them is so so so apparent and it’s a soothing balm to the soul compared to most other depictions of them

#obviously they do this so that both characters are in the same place so they can both run off together when gordon calls #it would eat up too much time if they were in different places #(although i can think of a couple instances where this is actually the case off the top of my head) #and also its an opprotunity for bruce to shoehorn in a moral teaching to dick #BUT god its so sweet #its so genuine #they choose each other over anyone else #they choose each other over SOLITUDE #thats huge
