Desperately hoping that the Good Omens buzz helps kick start a Blackpool Renaissance. I need more people to know about this show that has consumed a small part of my brain since I first saw it at university!
as someone who has obviously done extensive research on the topic i would like to present to you all...dyketennant's "which david tennant character are you" uquiz
It’s hard to beat David Tennant singing These Boots Are Made for Walkin’ while homoerotically dancing. If you haven’t seen Blackpool, this gives you a taste of the musical aspect of it. Source
I started watching Blackpool (because I'm still going through David Tennant's body of work, so to speak) - and in the first episodes DT's character is constantly licking something, including his own fingers. Is it intentional? :)
He's very much like the Doctor licking various things :)
So it's 2023 and Good Omens 2 did what even Good Omens (2019) & Staged didn't manage: I'm back in my David Tennant phase. Hello 2006, has it been 17 years already?
Anyway, I'm sick at home and using the time to rewatch the first season of Broadchurch. And after that I'll probably watch the other two seasons I've never seen so far.
Also I haven't watched Blackpool in ages. David Tennant continually putting things in his mouth, yes please!
If TK was smart, the BCC would be the anchor faction of the company. Regal isn’t gonna let the boys go off all cocked during an interview or go into business for themselves in the middle of a promo. He makes them settle scores in the ring with pain, violence, and blood.
I do think BCC should be the anchor of the show. Especially right now with the elite all out of action. BCC has carried this company through all the injuries of this terrible summer and proven time and time again they can be counted on not just to put on amazing matches (the company is stacked with people who at a moment's notice can put on incredible matches) but also engaging storylines that the fans become infatuated with.
TK will be an idiot if he doesn't continue the momentum they've had and make it BCC's year.
