If Greg wasn’t the writers favorite (not a dig, just fact) and Nathaniel was the one to get a storyline in the three dates episode his would’ve been about how his gift giving heart struggles with expressing love without a big something (a surprise trip, a dress, a whole party, etc.) to swoop Rebecca off her feet (since they put the 50$ cap). So instead of something amazing but (kinda) frivolous he thinks of a true expression of what happiness means for him. They go on a zoo date. They should’ve had a zoo date. It’s… a zoo date you guys.
