i adore this post and wanted to make something cute in my scrapbook inspired by it

both handmade notepads only have 3 pages (as to not bulk up my scrapbook more than it already is). they are glued to the inside of scrapbook but the left side of the asexual notepad is not glued so the aromantic one can be flipped on top of it and opened. ill probably update when i actually write down some aro and ace things to do!

If I might toss my hat in the character analysis ring, one similarity between Fade and Diamond is they're both being raised/trained by someone outside their family who they look up to. Alight and Obsidian might be very different but they do also both worry about their charge's ability to rule, and hey! There's another similarity, they're borh being mentored by their parents' knight!

you know what’s very silly in hp is the money. Apart from their economy making no sense, why are galleons (per gof) the size of hubcaps? Why does Ron think muggle coins are a weird shape?

#I looked it up and apparently there are a number of places that make coins that aren’t round #Like rectangular and diamond shaped #And scalloped edges I knew that already #All their money being in coins is just silly goofy #Especially if the coins are HUBCAP SIZED CHUNKS OF GOLD!!!! #That amount of gold would be worth waaaaaay more than a galleon btw #Which is worth about £5

the way we don’t have a good true sense of who rhaenyra is or how she wants to be because anytime she’s onscreen she’s actively chafing against the roles she’s forced to play… she wears these afterthoughts of dresses because she doesn’t want to have a from that necessitates being laced up…. she is one person in the eyes of viserys and another in the eyes of each person that beholds her (aemma, threat, whore, liar) and we haven’t seen her through her own eyes in a space where she is comfortable… if we saw her more on dragonback or on dragonstone it might become clearer but she is always being observed by us in places where the observation of others makes her fray at the edges and slip away from the personhood she has gained….. tbh i think she’s only going to snap and Give In after the upcoming series of tragedies strips away any desire to embody everyone else’s ideals of her… it will destroy her just as it will “free” her…. fire is a prison and they are going to burn

Skitch is the ACNH player that runs around smacking people with their bug catching net while Wanda gives the best gifts ever. Also I could totally see Skitch being like filthy rich in the game cause of all the fish and bugs and being like “hold on baby I got you” and just dropping off a bunch of bells on Wanda’s island and running away to go harass her villagers.

Skitch is deadass a menace with the net 😂

But yeah, Wanda definitely gives s-tier gifts in-game. I think one of the only things Wanda focuses on collecting herself are the nook miles that come with the different achievements, but bells are never an issue with Skitch funding her bell bank account 💀

What are all the similarities between Fade and Diamond? Some seems like already appear in the comic, but specifically which ones are they?

A lot of readers feel the major one is that they're both having to take up the mantle of King and have uncertainty/misgivings about it. Which we feel is a fair observation.

As for listing "all" of the similarities: we want folks to be able to work out stuff like this on their own and arrive at their own conclusions when it comes to characters and how they connect to each other and what similarities they share. We may provide little hints here and there but that's about it. It's more fun that way. c: - RJ

You can’t just do that, that’s pure evil. My mind is just running through all of the possibilities that could happen now-

A big one is how if the hermits were terrified about Scar going vex-mode before, how would they react to coming across him in the middle of a fight? Just all claws and teeth and no coherency.

Probably Cub especially since Scar is only exerting himself more and Cub’s fully aware of what that means.

I really wonder what would happen if the hermits find them in the middle of a fight because they haven’t had the experience of being in a life or death fight. Sure they know how to fight, but a fight in this situation?

Plus them all being hybrids and coming across hunters in general… oh boy

me and link wanted exactly what you're saying here: for the rescue gang to see grian and scar in action in this ruthless world. nobody else back home will be able to fathom it, but these witnesses will have a sliver of understanding of what this world did to these two. :3c

cub's absolutely freaked out by scar's vex form and loss of control. it's scary! imagine how tragic it'd be if scar would push too far and lose himself to vex magic completely. now. now, right in front of the rescue team's eyes. so close to being taken home. everything just. gone. (and top it off with a chance of grian dying too and you have a beautiful tragedy in the making.)

this all just circles back to how this day should be good—great, even!—but it feels so sickeningly precarious anyway. fragile, like it's splintering into pieces. everything was supposed to be okay and instead it's in a desperate, dooming landslide.
