The Spiteful Ghost
Danny loved space, and loved exploring it almost as much as he loved the Realms (yes, apparently he had made a home there, and learned to love its quirkiness, who could knew right?). The problem was that over the years the halfa acquired another characteristic: He hated heroes.
It might seem ironic, considering his teenager years but he just couldn't stand the concept of heroism (he never chosed to be one), not after all he had been through. Not after losing his family and ending up with more than deep wounds, not after humanity called him a villain for protecting the ghosts, not after the world chosed to sacrifice him after all he did for them (Amity was his world, and the city handed him over on a silver platter to save itself, they forced him to take drastic measures, actions he should never have taken, but when you're alone it turns out that no one can stop you)
They say that rancor can change you, the halfa can confirm. The point is, Danny hated heroes (he hated what they had to go through, hated that adult heroes weren't there for him, hated what it took to be a hero, leaving everything for the world was absurd, why would you accept something like that?). When the ghosts told him about the DC dimension he didn't take it exactly well. Although at least those heroes had a base in space.
Clockwork forbade him to go for a few months (he understood his grudge, quite personal, but he didn't want it to destroy him, he didn't want him to destroy himself), but when he saw him lost and depressed he allowed it, probably because he knew it would cheer him up for a while. Maybe he saw some future where he reconciled with the "profession", or maybe he thought he needed it (the halfa wasn't evil, Clockwork knew he wouldn't hurt anyone).
So, Danny arrived in the hero dimension and set out to be the world's biggest nuisance: moved chairs, ate their snacks, disappeared their stuff. He wasn't doing anything exceptionally big until he overheard an argument between the Red Hood and Batman.
After that, Batman ran out of gadgets in no time and Red Hood found little desserts everywhere. By the time they called JLD, it was pretty obvious they had an invader (the invader strangely loved Young Justice, and anti-heroes, seemed to hate Batman thought).
John Constantine entered feeling that he was walking to his funeral, why the hell had the Ghost King installed himself in a hero base, if it was rumored that he hated them to death?

Danny has a new rogue. The man is going by the name of Freakshow, but most of the whispers he’s heard have labeled him as the Joker. The Joker pings as a liminal, so Danny has been trying to find him. Problem is, the Joker doesn’t stay in Amity Park. The man is mobile, and the more Danny leaves Amity Park, the more he’s hunted by the GIW. This makes it harder to hunt the man, but he knows that Joker is dangerous. Unstable.
And he really hates clowns.
He’s chasing the Joker through New Jersey when a red blur knocks into him and drags him away from the Joker. He has enough sense left to realize he’s being moved in superspeed before he’s head butting the man holding him and turning intangible out of his arms. He hears the man in red groan and hold his bleeding nose.
“Wait.” The man in red pants, “The Joker is dangerous.”
“I know he is.” Danny tells him, “That’s why I’m taking him down.”
“You’re not working with him?” A man in black asks.
“What? No!” He gestured to himself, “I don’t have this getup because of him, you know. I’m a dead kid. A ghost. He’s messing with the living while carrying traces of the dead, and that’s wrong, you know? Once you kill so many people, it offends the dead and we have to intervene. Once you pass that point, the dead takes your soul. He’s already on his way there.”
“You don’t look dead.” The man in black says while the man in red looks away from him.
“Yeah? And you look like a bat. You don’t have room to talk when you look like a furry.” He rolled his eyes.
“I’m Flash and this is Batman.” Flash introduced himself and his partner, “We and the Joker are from another dimension. We’re trying to take Joker down before he merges our dimensions and takes over both of them.”
“Ugh, not more interdimensional bullshit.” Danny swears. “You can call me Phantom, by the way.”
“You don’t seem suprised about this.” Batman prompts.
“Yknow, after the fifth attempt at interdimensional war you get used to it. This dimension has the most… uh, what did they call it? Oomph? I think it means like, this is the most powerful dimension out of all of them. It doesn’t take long for us to kick them back where they belong. But this Joker dude, he’s persistent.” Danny shrugged.
“I know Joker the best.” Batman told him.
“As long as Joker ends up back in his dimension before he merges ours.” He grimaced. “Been there done that once, it wasn’t pretty to undo. It nearly destroyed both of our dimensions, but some things aren’t supposed to be merged.”
“To work together, we need to know what you can do.” Flash glanced at Batman.
“Do you want a list?”

There is an information blackout on Amity Park and the GIW are indeed involve. But not in the way most expect. They think ghosts are involved and the GIW have been trying to break the blackout in increasingly unhinged ways. Like a missile to the Ghost Zone unhinged
Ok so we're going for the ghosts and ectoplasm in the air create a natural blackout route? Naturally the GIW think they're helping. They think they're freeing the people of Amity Park (by any means necessary). At first they try simply eradicating the ghosts. But they quickly realized that the random stragglers they've been capturing aren't the true source of the problem. So they track a ghost back to the source and find something far stranger than their wildest imaginations: A portal to a space LEAKING ghosts and ectoplasm. So that's why our methods weren't working! Nothing to do with our incompetent. Nope nothing to do with that at all.
One eviction of a family of four and a quick relocation of their gear later and the GIW is ready to free this poor impoverished town. The GIW set up bombs around the inside of the portal and set them off in triumph..... Except the portal doesn't close. Hmmmm that was weird, they must've all been duds. Welp! No matter we'll try again. But the explosives don't go off this time either. As it turns out, the zone seeped out all the energy of the bombs before they had a chance to explode. Honestly that seems a little unfair but fine, they'll just unleash something on the portal that'll destroy it before it can suck up all its energy. A grenade should do. No big deal.
Or perhaps a big deal indeed? Because the grenade also ends up losing power before it takes out the Ghost Zone. No no no! The GIW is getting desperate. Nothing is working. Not the rocket launchers, not the tank rounds, not even the missiles. Meanwhile their superiors are constantly breathing down their necks and the people of Amity Park are getting more and more uncooperative by the day.
Why!? Don't they see we're just trying to help!? Why do they insist on us leaving!? Why are they starting to protect the ghosts!? Oh, we get it now. This whole town has been corrupted. You don't live this close to a portal to another realm without getting contaminated. That's why they're siding with these things. Because they're becoming more like them everyday. The people of Amity Park are all too far gone. They cannot be saved anymore. But this Ghost Zone must still be destroyed. To prevent it from affecting any more people.
Say.... if these people have already become inhuman and we need a blast big enough to destroy this place once and for all, can't we just.... you know.... nuke it? Hey yeah. That's a good idea, let's do it.
----
While the GIW have been devising up ways to destroy the zone, Danny has been working hard himself. For starters, he capitalized on his parents newfound hatred for the GIW to reveal himself. Which went well all things considered. Then he and the others set to work showing the townspeople how much more destructive the GIW were than the ghosts (which honestly wasn't very hard). Day by day, they continued to show everyone that the ghosts weren't so bad and were actually even quite similar to themselves. Day by day they won everyone over to their side. While they did so, they spied on the GIW, continuously using the intel they gained to sway more people. It was during one such spy mission that Danny uncovered what the GIW had planned. The horror they wanted to unleash. Yet he can't stop it alone. No, there's not enough people and not enough time. There's only one option he has left.
----
It was supposed to be a standard meeting for the Justice League. For once all things were quiet (that should have been their first red flag honestly). All they had to do was get through one last debrief from Batman and they were all home free. That is until a boy phases through the table, begging for their help to save his species from ah annihilation.

DPxDC Prompt where no one is sure what exactly happened to Amity Park. One day the town was simply destroyed, leaving no identifiable bodies but plenty of carnage to mark the occasion. It's a haunting sight, the streets quiet, already being taken over by plants.
The bats find a destroyed lab with what must have been a house overtop of it. The place appears to have been ransacked, with any worthwhile materials and research taken.
That is, except for a few battered journals.
The books are found inside a section of cracked wall, the pages mercifully spared from the wind and weather. They're just ordinary journals, the handwriting inside a messy scrawl with doodles interspersed in the margins.
It's practically the only lead they have to go on, other than a strange sample resembling Lazarus water and a few odds and ends found throughout the town.
Tim is tasked with deciphering the journals, reading through them to find out any information he can. It's a task that he throws himself into readily, expecting information regarding the work done in the lab beneath the house.
Tim is instead surprised to find the thoughts of a young teenage boy.
Danny Fenton, the name scrawled on the front of each journal. The pages start out mundane, detailing a sister purchasing the journal for the boy, and the events of a fun summer between friends. Nothing out of the ordinary.
That is until August 2nd.
Talk of a portal. Of ghosts and the work of mad scientists. Of stepping inside the portal on that fateful August 2nd, only to come out different-- changed-- dead, in some way.
Tim isn't sure what to make of the journals as they continue, the mundane turning to the extraordinary as Danny Fenton grows into his new skin and learns to fight. One ghost boy against a hundred different enemies-- his parents mentioned with fear, more than anything else.
He thinks it might be fiction-- hopes it is-- but something in the writing rings more truthful than Tim would like.
Perhaps it's the pages occasionally stained with red and green smears.
He keeps reading, becoming absorbed with tales of trips through a realm of green, of long-dead monarchs raising swords against the living-- of Danny Fenton and his friends sticking through it all, the fatigue of that fight evident in the sloppy scrawl of his writing.
Years pass in the journals. The boy's almost seventeen, he notes in one passage-- Tim's age-- and still he carries this burden. Tim can't help but admire him.
His family tries to get him to sleep-- to put down the journals-- but Tim needs to know how the story ends. Where it ends.
An organization keeps cropping up in Danny's writing, a certain GIW. The concern for them grows with each passage, and by the time Danny is seventeen his entries are sparse and few between. Mentions of an occupation-- of the city changing-- of Danny not knowing how much longer he can hide.
The last entry is a hurried thing. The words a messy scribble, each one more haunting than the last:
"I think they found me out. I'm sorry, I tried. Sam, Tuck, Jazz, if you find this, don't look for me."
Tim frantically flips through each page, desperately hoping for something more. There's nothing. It's the last message ever written by this Danny Fenton, bitter and resigned.
Tim still doesn't know if he can trust the words written in the journals-- doesn't know if he can trust Danny. All he knows is that of the names listed in the last entry, of the people told not to look for him, Tim isn't one of them.
He's done more foolish things before.

Dc x dp idea 99
In a world where everyone is not so understanding. Sam and Tucker blame Danny for the portal coming on and letting the ghosts through. He is the one who turned the portal on after all. He brought the pain and sorrow to Amity.
Jazz has questioned other ghost who were caught by her parents. All of them only wanted to take over or destroy the world. Only ever cursing the human race. (Who could blame them when they were captured and likely poked and prodded by jack and Maddie)
Jack and Maddie don’t care phantom is their “son”. Those things don’t feel. Once he died he wasn’t Danny anymore. Only ecto scum.
Danny over heard them discussing handing him over to the GIW.
Danny didn’t have a choice. So he decides to leave amity at the ripe age of 15 before he ends up strapped down in a lab. He runs away.
No one reports him missing.
He runs away to Fawcett. Gotham would be too risky. Jack and Maddie discussed investigating the odd ectoplasm there. (Maybe the bats look into the Fentons. Maybe the realize there child hasn’t been reported dead or missing. That Danny was just gone)
Metropolis is out of the question. Jazz was looking into a university there.
Here he meets homeless billy batson. Only a year younger then him. Together they survive on the streets. Both learning more about each other. Danny revealing bits of his past as they go.
When Danny finds out about Shazam he reveals phantom. Danny actual wants to help billy. He’s even younger then him. Now the justice league assume Danny is Shazam sidekick (maybe son). Instead of Danny being the older of the two.
When the truth does come out. So does Danny’s past. So does the GIW.

I have another idea for a story, but I once again don't know what to write, so I'm building a skeleton.
It's a DC x DP x ML crossover. Damien, Marinette, and Danny are triplets born into the LoA. From birth, they were taught to not see each other as siblings but as rivals for Ra's attention. When they were five, they were dipped (more like dropped) into the pits for the first time. Danny never comes back out. The second time was when they were six. Damien and Marinette came back from a mission gravely injured. Marinette doesn't come back out. Damien becomes the sole heir.
As one can imagine, Danny and Marinette aren't dead but simply taken to where they were needed at the time. That being said, things for these two characters go mostly according to their respective shows after they integrate into society. With the exception that the two of them are more competent and don't fight like rabid raccoons. But things take a dark turn when they turn sixteen.
Marinette
. After finding out that his father is Hawkmoth, Adrien is unable to carry the weight of being the holder of the cat Miraculous, as he doesn't want to fight his father and gives it to Ladybug. He promptly moves to the States to further his modeling career. Marinette, unable to find someone else worthy to be the holder of the cat Miraculous, stores it away and becomes the sole hero of Paris (with occasional helpers). But because of this, her two lives get more intertwined, and she is forced into a corner where she has to choose between being Ladybuy or Marinette.
. But she doesn't get a chance as Hawkmoth is dethroned and replaced by an even greater threat. She is forced to take on the persona of LadyNoir. Her life crumbles as she tries her hardest to balance her life as a hero and a person. She tries to save everyone but someone always ends up getting hurt. Whether it be her as Marinette, clinging to what little of her life is left. Or her as LadyNoir, with no choice but to watch innocent civilians die because she couldn't think of a better plan that could've saved everyone.
. It gets to the point where she makes an unforgivable wish. But every wish has a cost. She only finds out the price when she is forced to stand behind an invisible wall and watch as her life replays before her eyes, the film slowly burning away till there's nothing left. She cries as she falls into an ocean of familiar Lazarus green.
Danny
. Danny's life is also crumbling around him as he struggles to separate his human life from his ghost half. But after becoming the Ghost King, things only became more complicated and even more dangerous as more ghosts started coming through the portal to challenge him for the crown. And while he would really love to give it away, the guys that kept fighting him for it are very clearly evil. So he has to keep fighting, winning, and solidifying his position as the King of the Infinite Realms. But with every win comes a newfound power. Power he doesn't want. Power that scares him.
. It gets to the point when Danny has to drop out of school. He wasn't even scoring double digits anymore so what was the sense of keeping him? But Danny couldn't stay home either, it was too dangerous as his ghost and human halves were slowly becoming one. And his parents' obsession was slowly becoming a threat to him. He thought he had the solution. He was going to shut down the portal and leave Amity Park.
. It was perfect really, as no ghost portal meant no ghost. And he couldn't be vivisected if neither the GIW nor his parents could catch him. He talked the plan over with team phantom and they reluctantly agreed. The ghost portal is destroyed, and Danny leaves Amity and files over Elmerton and a few other towns. But after flying for a while, Danny gets to a sort of border where nothing meets... NOTHING. On the other side was just an infinite void. Nothing.
. Danny slowly realizes that in this world, all he knew was Amity Park. He never actually traveled or went on field trips. Never went to visit extended family nor did any visit. No one 'new' ever came to Amity Park because they were all just nearby. He learned no relevant history besides Amity Park because there was nothing outside of Amity Park. When the realization had finally set in the world began to crumble into the void and it became a race against him and the void.
. Danny knew that he was fast but the void was faster, and before he knew it he was back in Amity. He was going to warn them and try to save as many people as he could. But saw something in their eyes. They already knew. Danny watched how teary eyes and big smiles, everyone and everything he loved crumbled into the void, fading into nothingness.
Scientists across the galaxy, the universe even, often theorize about how everything came to be. Well, it didn't start with a bang, that's for sure. 'Well then how did it start?' you might ask.
Well..., it started with some tears and a scream.

So i just read this post about the Bats being Warlocks with Danny as their Patron and its super great, amazing work @aziraphale-is-a-cat and @percyisawesome
At first i thought Lady Gotham was going to be their Patron, because i immediately forgot i was reading a crossover, and that sparked an idea.
What if Lady Gotham doesn't exist and Phantom was the Gotham city spirit.
So DPxDC idea where Phantom was the first recorded Hero/Meta way back before the Justice League members were even born, because i love those stories, but if course no one knew that back then. Metas weren't a thing yet.
So things go as canon but eventually the GIW get worse and worse, especially as more and more of Amity becomes Liminal from ambient ecto leaking from the portal.
And the GIW, way too confident with the Anti Ecto Acts in place, decide that Amity Park is a lost cause. They launch a major attack the town and destroy the portal in the process.
And even though i think the surviving Amity Parkers would buckle down, stand strong, and rebuild their town. For the sake of this idea, lets say they don't do that.
Instead the survivors band together and decide they need to leave, get as far from the GIW's main base of operations as they can.
They go right.
They end up in Gotham, New Jersey.
Now, im messing with the timeline a bit. I still kinda want the DP parts to be early 2000s, maybe late 80s/early 90s at the least, so the uniquely DC events im pushing to later in time a bit.
So lets say Gotham, while still pretty old and with its history and subtle curses, never really expanded into the huge city we normally think of. No towering skyscrapers or really any huge buildings, is barely a small city at this point.
And then an influx of new residents from the west cause a need to expand. Over the generations the former Amity Parkers help Gotham become what we know in Bruces time. By then they're just Gothamites, and if their subtle limiality is to attribute for the modern Gothamite's durability and the eventual rogues' whole... thing well its been way too long to place blame on that random group of refugees.
And where was Phantom in all this? Watching over his people. The portal and his family are gone, he cant be Danny because the survivors believe he died when FentonWorks exploded, all he really has at the moment is these people who's lives he believes he inadvertently destroyed.
So he watches over them, then their descendants and the seemingly unfortunate people of their new home. This little city has afew old curses that are holding the residents back and making them miserable, its the least he can do to take some of them on for himself, just make things easier for the people.
Eventually the city becomes his new haunt, becomes a part of him as he helps it grow and expand. And some Amity descendants still spread the urban legend that is the Phantom of Gotham.
(Just a little side detail that im not sure how to add in but i really like the idea of Liminality eventually evolving or mutating into the meta gene if there's not enough ambient ectoto keep it active. Maybe the portal sent out a shock wave of radiation when it was destroyed. Not everyone was affected but for those who were it either was so subtle the effects fade within a month from the lack of enough ambient ecto or went dormant until it became a meta gene and no longer needed ecto.
I dont know, i mostly like the irony of Batman's "no meta's in Gotham" rule when most of Gotham was unknowingly built by the original "metas")
@hdgnj @dcxdpdabbles @nelkcats @nerdpoe @ailithnight @tathartiel
And @omnicrafts , hope your feeling better

A DC X DP IDEA #9 The Nightgale’s
Imagine this…
Here we have a three-way relationship between Vlad, Maddie, and Jack. The grandfather Clockwork, the children which consist of Jazz, Dan, Danny, and Dani, and a morally gray Fenton clan. The Fenton’s might be descendants of the witches from the Salem trials but what about the name Nightgale?
It was not well-known knowledge that the name Nightgale is a well-known yet old name in the underworld. If you want information, firearms, drugs, protection, and many more it is the Nightgale that you should go as they have been ruling the underground for the past centuries building up their empire from scratch. Ruthless to those they consider their enemies, and saviors to those who are under their care.
Rogues from different parts of the world as well the rogues that the JL members are having trouble as well they pay their respects to the Nightgale’s as the last example namely the Joker disrespected them in the face, got paler, and found at the inch of death and they never mentioned nor crossed territories with them. Lex who tried his shot, almost got an aneurysm due to the fact that a single member of that family merely got to his most secured safe house and waved a black USB in front of him that will destroy him after a tongue lashing as that person explained in the politest voice, he ever heard threatening his entire empire.
Danny shouldn’t know whether to feel ecstatic or not, on one hand, his parents had accepted him as Phantom, and the number of tears and hugs involved was never to be talked about again. On the other Vlad’s wish came true, how? well, it was when Vlad realized that the reason, he hated his dad for so long is because he was stuck in the pulling the girl’s pig-tails phase. Instead of elementary, it started during their college time together up until now.
Now that both Maddie and Jack knew that both Danny and Vlad are halfas as well realizing his feelings and being added to the family due to the short and small wedding that the three of them had. Vlad revealed that he has children from Jack, namely Dani, and Dan, which sparked an argument between Maddie and Vlad, something he wouldn’t imagine seeing before, about who made their significant other happier or even loved more.
But the problems of the newly made family don’t end there. GIW agents began appearing more frequently and being more aggressive as they leave a destructive path to find Phantom as they believe that he is the most powerful of them all and needed to be eradicated.
Moving to a place where there is an abundance of ectoplasm in the air well-being able to mask their presence as the rest of the members who isn’t a ghost are infected to a certain degree that the GIW considered them as part of the Anti-Ecto laws. Jack told the family to go back to his birthplace as well going back to the family business to protect themselves from the GIW.
Danny had blinked at that statement he thought that the Fenton’s were descendants of witches that survived the Witch Trials and had made their settlement here in Amity when they had initially escaped.
Jack admitted he never wanted such an environment his future family can get into but seeing that their opponent is the government itself he realized that those secrets from his past can now keep his family safe.
He changed his last name to Fenton when he moved city in hope that their enemies may never find the true heir of the Nightgale’s. Ever since he was a kid, he dreamed of living a normal life with a normal family. Don’t get him wrong he loves the family where he was raised but lives a life where everyone will not kill you nor acknowledge you for having a fancy last name. With the support of his family, he embarked on his journey the moment he turned 14, creating a fake identity complete with paperwork that no one would the keenest eyes can make out whether it is real or fake.
Created a nonexistent identity with history in one of the most secluded areas in the world. Secured an identity and was able to intermingle and blend in with the locals to the point he was considered one of them despite not being a local.
Jack explained that being a normal person is quite hard as he was raised in a quite not-so-normal house. When he saw that being a ghostbuster/ scientist is an actual branch of science he immediately took the subject as his cover for his unusual strength, intelligence as well the fact that carries various exotic-looking weapons that can be brushed off as ways to contain ecto-entities.
What he didn’t think through is to be actually interested in the topic to the point he wrote an entire thesis and book about the so-called ghosts. Nor the fact he was able to create a gateway to another dimension on the said subject, married to people who saw and took interest in the said subject, have his son become that said entity as well having an entire family including him to be dead or infected in some sort of shape or form, he still remembers the way he jokingly thought to himself that he only suppose took as a joke as well being a cover seeing that nobody will actually take him seriously or even suspect him as a Nightgale if he took such career path where they were called mad and a joke by the science community itself.
Racing through the roads using the GAV with an injured Vlad and Danny on the tow along with the entire Fenton’s, Jack raced to Gotham with the only people who he thought can help them.
Apparently, Plasmius was caught by the GIW and was in the middle of live dissection when Phantom broke through the door and rescued the Fruit loop, he may still have slight anger issues towards the man for all the troubles he caused for Danny but the fact he was getting better and made his parents happy made him give the Fruit loop one last chance, but he never said that being petty is off the table.
Rushing in without a plan ended up with him being shoot and skewered a bunch of times but it was his supposed step-father’s life on the line here and he wouldn’t dare to give up.
Releasing as well as destroying everything they have on Ghosts is now a requirement to each GIW facility they encountered may also be a factor on why he now has a bleeding shoulder.
Upon entering Gotham borders they were greeted with chaos, Lady Luck was with them that day as well Lady Gotham, there had been a mass Arkham breakout and each Bat is busy containing the destruction and chaos around Gotham that they didn’t see a weirdly shaped vehicle racing through Downtown Gotham.
Lady Gotham had covered the vehicle with her shadows as she had felt her king and his father in great danger and protected the family from his knights and cities by steering away her knights and destroying any cameras that have caught them.
Knocking franticly on a wooden door of a fairly large house at the just edges of the border of Gotham, a lean young man wearing what looks like a butler’s uniform opened the door and was surprised to see Jack carrying a bloodied teen on his arms and an even bloodier man on his back, behind him a multitude of people carrying various emotions like anger, worry, scared and exhaustion in their faces, the mysterious young man immediately ushered the entire group inside the house.
Elias Nightgale never thought that he would ever see his son again, nor he expected to have the first meeting between him as well his grandchildren in such a manner.
He knew the existence of his grandchildren as he and Jack had been exchanging letters sick Jack decided to look at the world.
Barking orders his men to guard the premise as well as the group that came with Jack, calling in each of his men to learn everything that his son looks like has hidden from him because last time he checks he used to have only 2 grandchildren it seems now they have multiplied.
Calling in on a family meeting made every Nightgale member from immediate cousins, aunts, and uncles to their great uncles and aunts as well as cousins who were once or thrice removed.
Never once the entire family ever saw the day the current head Elias Nightgale of the Nightgale family ever called for a family emergency family meeting, so they dropped everything and went to the main base where they were greeted by Jack’s family with clear exhaustion and worry etched on their faces.
Jack began explaining to his dad what he might forget to write in their monthly exchange of letters.
Explaining about the ghosts, his son and spouse, and additional members as well as having an entire branch of government hunting them down just for existing.
It was twice that Jack had seen such murderous rage painted on his father’s space, first when he was tortured and kidnapped by an opposing group and the 2nd one today.
Elias Nightgale as well as the rest of the family are now ready to raid, destroy and raid everything to the ground, but Jazz had stopped them as attacking them might have the blame put on the ghost and have an entirely powered hero after them.
When Danny woke up and had gotten better, he was ushered to meet up with his paternal grandfather. Upon arriving at the study room he took his time to observe each of his family members, he is quite curious when he saw that his grandfather was 6ft at most and now questioned where his dad had gotten his height, but he saw a beautiful yet scarily tall 6 and 12 ft red-haired woman with the brightest hazel eyes he ever saw immediately concluded that she is his grandmother.
They have discussed that while he and his other father were unconscious that it is best to stay at the home of the Nightgale’s to have some sort of protection against the GIW as not only did they have the latest technology but also nobody wanted to mess with the Nightgale’s
Jack’s family is now intergraded into the Nightgale’s completely, despite the black dealings around them they didn’t bat an eye, as they have developed morally grey morals from the past years, they even had their own roles.
Jack Nightgale became the head of weapon making, using a new type of energy while masking the ectoplasm signature of it pose a problem but was able to overcome, now the Nightgale’s now have one of the most dangerous weapons that were ever made and begin strictly monitoring each one.
Maddie became part of the assassination section of the Family Business, with a ninth-degree black belt as well as a marksman made her the perfect assassin that specifically hunts down rapists and child murderers as well GIW agents that dared to hunt down their families.
Vlad Masters who is currently on par with being the richest man in the country focused on his business, as much as he loved his in-laws, he made such that Vlad Co. stays up and running as well as able to thrive. They needed a continuous flow of funds to be able to renovate the house to a mini-mansion to accommodate the small family, complete with built-in security from both humans and ghosts.
Dan began training the guards as well as being one of their heavy hitters, always out with a mission for their family as well the one sent out to check on the family’s business and dealings in and out of the country.
Jazz has a normal job as a physiatrist building her own little clinic near Criminal alley during the day but by night she is one of the best information specialists gatherers. In interrogation is where she blossoms playing the minds of her victims into telling her the information they hold.
Danny began his training in both being the heir of the Infinite Realms as well the potential next head of the Nightgale’s, Danny pointed out that he is the middle child but sadly all of his siblings voted him as the next head of the family.  Training that included weapon handling and execution, using and not using his ghost powers as an advantage, briefings with high-profile people, and private instruction from "constitutional experts".
Lastly, Dani, who is un doubly the best spy there is, able to slip into about anything and able to extract information without alerting their intended target. Having the ability to engage with others as naturally, adaptive, and highly functioning as possible. As a spy, social interaction will take numerous forms, requiring her to be comfortable engaging with people from many walks of life.
Batman sat in front of the Bat computer for an hour still reviewing the new case about the Nightgale’s.
During his teen years, he was saved by one of their own as his ancestor as well as the first holder of the Wayne name had a long-standing relationship between the Waynes and Nightgale’s, thus saving the heir of the Waynes seemed only right and they have already taken the liberty of torturing and killing his parent’s murderer.
As much as he wanted to cut off any ties the Wayne family between to the Nightgale. It is quite impossible as his family has allotted a considerable size of life debts towards the Nightgale’s and opted to merely watch and observe the family.
It has been a year and a half since their activity has spiked as well as the new cruelty towards specific people who all wore white suits with black shades, having been brutally killed before dumping their bodies. They are still killing people in their usual kills as well as the people who had dared to defy them to the point of extreme torture.
It was also been 6 months since he and his entire family decided to investigate the recent killings of the Nightgales.
It has also been 9 months since Red Hood joined and helped the Nightgale’s in the crusade of killing the people who wore white suits and black shades.
It has also been a year since the new students of the Gotham family aka the Adia siblings namely Jasmine, Danny, and Dani Adia became close friends as civilians of some of the members of the Bat-family.
Just what are the Nightgale's are up to and what are the Adia Siblings hiding?

Once again free for anyone to use just credit me loves.
It's AU time
The People in Amity can only see ghosts because of their exposure to ectoplasm. Everyone thinks the town is collectively suffering from mass hysteria. No one can explain why. The claim of ghostly activity from almost all of its residents leaves experts baffled. The town even has self-proclaimed 'ghost hunters.'
Despite having no explanation as to what is causing it there was no doubt that the people of Amity Park were suffering from mass hallucinations. At least that was the thought of the Justice League and any outsider of Amity. Then after literal years there was finally a ghost spotted in Amity. Seen by someone other than the locals. Videos showed him destroying the town. Although all reports say he fought off the ghost despite no other "ghost" being spotted. The justice league might have a lead on what the hell was happening in Amity and its residents.
Basically, the JL thinks Danny the cause of mass hallucination /hysteria in Amity because outsiders can't see the ghost he is fighting. (As a halfa Danny is visible to outsiders.)
"But Hidden what about the GIW?" I hear you asking. That's the best part. Instead of ghost hunters, the GIW is there to study the people of Amity and the Fentons, in particular. To try and find out why it's happening. They use the "Ghost Investigation ward" as a cover to get close to/ talk to the locals. They show up to attacks to observe the people. I can only imagine them pulling Danny out of class to talk to him like:
Danny glared at the woman sitting across from him. 'Ghost Investigation ward' his ass. He didn't buy that the government believed his town was infested with ghosts for one second.
As if she was unaffected by his glare she spoke confidently.
"So, does your whole family see ghosts, Daniel?" Danny bit back his sarcastic response. He knows they think his family is crazy but they could be less obvious about it! Instead, he settled on saying.
"Everyone sees ghosts around here."
"Yes, but not everyone makes a career out of hunting them. Of studying them" she quickly cut in. Not taking then the open-ended response for an answer.
"You are talking to the wrong Fenton. That's my parents, I for one want to be an astronaut."
--
Or showing up to the Fenton house and Maddie and Jack showing them their lab. Lots of fun with that last little part.

Answer My Call
As promised, this is the first chapter of @gilbirda's Wrong Number AU all fixed up. A lot of it is the same as the original version, but a lot has changed. It went from 3,059 words to 5,392. I'm gonna try and get somewhere with the next chapter of this, but no promises on time-frame. Also working on transferring at least the first chapter of all my WIPs over to AO3. This'll be the only time I tag a bunch of people for this as I'm gonna set up subscription posts.
Find the original prompt and fill here.

Story Summary: Jazz, Sam, and Tucker manage to help Danny escape the GIW, but they can't follow him and are under too much surveillance to communicate with each other. Sam snuck Danny a phone as he ran and Jazz sends him a text every day, hoping to hear he is all right. But he's not the one getting the texts.
Jason was away for several months on a mission with the Outlaws. When he finally returns home, he is surprised to find dozens of messages from an unknown number begging a Danny to tell her he's okay. Looks like there's not going to be a break between missions this time around.
----------
Jazz sat in a Nasty Burger booth and stared at her food. She'd ordered Danny's favorite, but her stomach was so in knots she didn't think she could eat.
All of this was her parent’s fault. If they weren’t so close minded and horrible, if they’d just accepted they were wrong…
Her circling thoughts were interrupted by a balled up napkin landing on the table next to her tray. Jazz was half to her feet ready to yell at whomever threw their trash at her when she saw Sam in a frilly yellow dress walking to the counter with her grandmother.
Huffing as if annoyed, Jazz settled back down and straighted the napkin. In messier-than-normal writing, Sam had scrawled the message:
I got him an old phone before he ran. His number is XXX-XXX-XXXX.
As surreptitiously as she could, she pulled out her own phone and saved the number to the encrypted folder Tucker had set up. Then she destroyed the napkin by soaking it in her unfinished pop and throwing her entire tray away, uneaten food and all.
Well, there was nothing else she could do in Amity. Might as well start the long drive back to Boston.
Upon reaching the edges of town, however, she realized leaving wasn’t going to be as easy as she thought. A GIW checkpoint had been set up and all incoming and outgoing traffic was being questioned.
Two agents approached her car before she could turn around and try a different way out. She did make them knock on her window before deigning to lower it just an inch, however. After what they’d done to Danny, she would never willingly play along with their games again.
“Ms. Fenton,” said the agent as soon as she realized she wasn’t going to open the window any further, “we need to search yourself and your vehicle. You are a known ecto-entity sympathizer and are suspected of assisting in the escape of subject P1. Vacate your vehicle immediately.”
“All I did was come back to my hometown to find my missing brother. I’ll need to see a warrant before you search my car.”
“Ms. Fenton, I don’t think you understand the situation. Due to the escape of the highly dangerous specimen P1, the town is under our a state of emergency. Mayor Masters has instated martial law to ensure the safety of all citizens. You can either vacate your car or you will be under arrest.” He grabbed a packet of papers from an inner pocket of his suit jacket and pushed one end through the crack in Jazz’s window.
Jazz took them and skimmed. The agent wasn’t lying; anyone caught breaking curfew or suspected of harboring or otherwise assisting a ghost would be arrested without bail immediately. All because her brother escaped that torture chamber. She stepped out of the car.
It took over an hour for the agents to search every inch of her car, purse, and luggage and convince themselves she didn’t have Danny hidden away somewhere. By the time she was allowed to go on her way, her jaw hurt from how hard she was clenching her teeth and her eyes stung with tears.
She hated Vlad. And the Guys in White. And the US Government. But finally she was free to leave.
And then she realized the white van was following her out of city limits. Really? Was she going to have to deal with them tailing her, too?
She ground her teeth and eased up on the gas pedal, moving to the right lane. Her father had taught her how to drive, but she’d learned better from the internet and recorded driver’s ed classes. She followed the speed limit exactly, only changing lanes to pass or allow others to merge on. Through it all, her focus remained on the white van behind her. She recognized Agent O as the driver.
Every so often his attention would slip and he’d wind up closer to her than intended. And then, finally, forty-five minutes after she started her perfect driving, she saw him yawn.
“Eat dust, creep!” Jazz shouted as she slammed her foot on the gas and jerked the steering wheel to swerve into the next lane. A chorus on horns followed her as she crossed the median and began going in the opposite direction. She had learned some things from her dad.
Two exits closer to Amity, she got off the highway and stopped at a Target for a burner phone which she activated at a local library. Then she got back on the highway east.
To her satisfaction, it took Agent O three hours to find her again.
-----
That night at a motel in who-knows-where Pennsylvania, Jazz double checked the locks on the door and that the curtains were closed before pulling out her new phone.
Her fingers trembled as she typed a message and sent it to the number Sam had given her.
Hey, Danny, it’s Jazz. Sam passed on the number for the phone she gave you before we were all separated. Please let me know you’re safe. Love you.
Jazz stared at the phone, hoping for a reply.
She woke with the phone clutched to her chest, but no new messages. Her breath caught and then she was curled around the phone crying.
“Danny, you’d better be okay,” she mumbled through her sobs.
But then her main phone alarm went off and Jazz forced herself up from the bed and into the shower. She could get through this. She had to.
An hour later, with her makeup applied and secret phone well hidden in her bag, she was back in her car and getting on the highway, a white van keeping pace behind her.
That night she was back in her dorm room in Boston. Her roommate tried to ask her questions about how her trip home went, but Jazz brushed off the concern. If she’d been honest, her roommate wouldn’t know how to reply anyway.
Instead, she waited until the other girl was taking a shower to pull out the burner phone and send another message.
Made it back to Boston. They’re following me now. Please don’t come here. It’s not safe. I know they’re keeping close tabs on Sam and Tucker, too. But they don’t know about this phone. Love you. Let me know you’re safe.
The next day, she got a phone call from an unknown Amity number during her Literature class. With a hurried apology to the professor, she gathered her supplies up and rushed out of the classroom as she answered the phone.
“Jazz speaking.”
“Hello, Ms. Fenton. My name is Detective Ramirez. I’m calling regarding your brother, Daniel—“
“Danny,” Jazz corrected automatically. “He prefers Danny.”
“Right, Danny. It appears he’s missing.”
Jazz’s breath hitched. She knew that, of course. But hearing a stranger say it so bluntly hit different. She walked faster, there was a single stall bathroom just a floor up.
“His teacher, a Mr. Lancer, reported his disappearance yesterday and your parents admitted they didn’t know his location either when we went to check on him. Do you know where he may be?”
“I don’t.” Finally, there was the bathroom. She rushed in and shut the door behind her, locking it before sliding to the ground. “Have— Have you figured out how long he’s been missing?”
“Near as we can tell, it’s been a week. Do you know why your parents wouldn’t have reported him missing?”
Jazz let out a mirthless laugh. “Are you from Amity, detective?”
A pause, then he said, “I am.”
“Then you know my parents. They were probably too busy trying to torture a ghost to notice Danny.”
“Would it be possible for you to stop by the station to answer some questions?”
“I’m in Boston for school, detective. You can come here or I can answer any questions you have on the phone. I will not be going back to Amity unless it is to see Danny.”
“Very well. Did your brother have any motivation to or history of running away?”
And so began an hour long interrogation. Jazz played her part to perfection. She cried, she begged, but she didn’t give him anything.
That night, after her roommate went to bed, she sent another text.
A detective called today to see if I might know where you are. Don’t worry, I didn’t tell him anything. Maybe next time I’ll let slip some lies, send the GIW on a wild goose chase. Love you. Let me know you’re safe.
It became a ritual. Every day she’d keep her head down and go about her classes ignoring the agents following her and once a day when she could guarantee her privacy, she’d send another text to Danny. Each one ended the same way.
It’s been a week since you escaped. Did you make it to the realms? Love you. Let me know you’re safe. The detective actually came all the way to Boston to interview me. Can you believe it? I cried on him and begged him to find you and may have mentioned how much you loved visiting Aunt Alicia who lived off the grid. Hopefully that’ll distract them. Love you. Let me know you’re safe. Agent K tried to wait for me outside my Psych class today. I just met his eyes and glared until he said something into his walkie talkie and left. Love you. Let me know you’re safe. Today is your birthday and you're still not responding to me. I don't know what I'll do if you die a second time on me. Love you, let me know you're safe. Sam, Tucker, and I can't talk. We're under too close of surveillance. I think Sam is being home schooled now and Tucker got a scholarship and his parents sent him away from Amity. I don't know if it was the GIW or Vlad, but promise me you won't return to Amity. Love you, let me know you're safe. I got a call from the detective. They've basically given up the search. Of course they couldn't find you. I guess mom and dad made the call to have you declared dead. You're funeral is next week. Strangest part about this is it's 3 years too late. Love you, let me know you're safe. Dani was able to visit today. She’s safe and trying to find a way to the realms. We worked on finding ways to mask her ecto-signature and we’re finally happy with the results. I think she’ll be safe now. Love you. Let me know you’re safe.
Jazz didn’t mention how the study room they’d been practicing in was raided by GIW agents less than twenty minutes after Dani had left.
I’m back in Amity. Your funeral is tomorrow. I hate it here. I hate even more how much it still feels like home. Love you. Let me know you’re safe. They didn’t even show up. Love you. Let me know you’re safe. I miss you so much. I hate how useless I am. I’m not you. I can't build a portal or boo-merang to search for you. You'd better come home soon. Love you, let me know you're safe.
-----
The first thing Jason did upon returning to his Gotham apartment was shower. The second was sleep for a solid eleven hours.
And when he woke up, he made himself a huge breakfast, reveling in the opportunity to put a kitchen through it’s paces for the first time in months.
But the first non-essential thing he did was plug in his phone and turn it on. After months away, his notifications would be insane and he wanted to be rested and full before bothering to skim through the family group chats.
Unsurprisingly, his messaging app showed over two thousand unread texts. What was surprising, however, was that 71 of those were from an unknown number.
He opened that thread first and skimmed the most recent message.
Agent K tried to pull me aside to question me and search my bag twenty minutes before an exam. Asshole almost made me miss it! But I managed to run and got to my classroom just in time. Love you. Let me know you’re safe.
Jason raised an eyebrow and scrolled to the top of the thread. By the time he’d finished reading, his vision was tinted green.
Looked like he wasn’t going to have those relaxing few days before his next big case.
With a sigh he turned on his laptop and searched Amity. All he could find was a generic government website proclaiming it “The Most Haunted Town in America!” Every link on the page was broken when he tried to click it.
He ground his teeth and searched for “GIW” and “Agent K.” Neither yielded any useful results either.
By five o’clock he was nearly ready to scream in frustration and the green wasn’t leaving the edges of his vision. Looks like he was going to need backup.
He stomped out of his apartment, got on his motorcycle, and ignored all speed limits as he rushed through Gotham.
Traffic and noise decreased the further from Gotham proper he got until city streets were replaced by McMansions with their fancy landscaping and long drives.
He continued until he got to B’s home and made his way up the long drive. Though he quickly turned to the smaller path that lead to the kitchen entrance rather than continue up to the main doors.
After cutting the engine, he continued to sit on the bike for a moment as he stared at the door to the kitchen. Was he really going to do this?
He closed his eyes and phrases from the desperate texts filled his mind. With a deep breath he stood up and walked through the door.
As expected half an hour before dinner, Alfred was in the kitchen getting everything ready.
“Master Jason!” he exclaimed. “Give me just a moment.”
Jason watched with a slight smile as Alfred stirred the gravy and lowered the temperature. “Hey, Alfie.”
Alfred made his way towards Jason and pulled him into a hug. “Welcome home, my boy.”
“Got in yesterday. There enough food for one more? Who else is around?”
“There’s always enough food for you. Now, help me stir the vegetables. Masters Bruce, Damian, Duke, and Tim are all home.”
Jason hummed as he got to work helping with the last of dinner prep. “Is the replacement up to anything big right now? I was thinking of asking for his expertise on something.”
Alfred clicked his tongue. “You’ve only just returned from an extended mission. I haven’t even had the chance to check you over for new injuries yet. Can’t you rest for even a day?”
“Come on, Alfie. Don’t you know us better than that by now? No rest for the wicked as they say!”
Alfred gave him a Look. “You are hardly wicked, Master Jason.”
Jason looked back down at the vegetables he was helping with. “I think these are done. And you know I wouldn’t ask Replacement a favor unless it was important.”
“I know you know his name is Timothy,” Alfred said as he passed Jason a bowl. “But he is not working on anything time sensitive at the moment that I know of.”
“And you know everything.”
“Hardly. Now, help me set the table.”
Jason did as instructed and the two fell into an old routine.
Bruce walked into the dining room as they were laying things out. “Jason. When did you get back?”
Jason took a deep breath forced himself to stay relaxed. “Yesterday. Figured I’d grab some of Alfred’s cooking tonight.”
“How did your mission go? Have you filed a report yet?”
God, couldn’t he just ask how Jason was like a normal person?
Alfred stepped in before Jason could snap. “Master Bruce, you know I do not allow shop talk at the dinner table.”
“I’m doing great, B,” he said with fake cheerfulness. “Had the best breakfast this morning and slept amazingly, thanks for asking.”
“Jason—”
“I’m gonna get the last of the dishes from the kitchen, Alfred,” said Jason before Bruce could say anything more.
In the kitchen, Jason leaned over the counter and breathed as he counted to ten. He shouldn’t have come here. Not with the pits so close to the surface after seeing those messages.
But he was bat-trained and he couldn’t leave a mystery alone and he needed someone with better computer and hacking skills than he had. So here he was.
He could do this. It was just dinner then a question.
He grabbed the last two platters of food and returned to the dining room. Duke and Tim had arrived in the meantime.
“Hey, Jason,” greeted Duke.
“Hey, kid. How’s Gotham been treatin’ ya?”
“Same old, same old. Glad to see you’re back and in one piece.”
Jason grinned at him. “The other guys aren’t so lucky.”
Duke laughed. “I’ll bet.”
Tim piled food onto his plate. “You should’ve said you were back. Dick would’ve made the trip out here to join us. Barbara, too, probably.”
“It was a last minute decision. Where’s the demon brat?”
“Here,” said a voice from behind him. “Todd. You appear to be healthy.”
Jason blinked at the kid a few times as Damian walked around him and took his own seat. “Uh… yeah. Thanks. You appear… healthy, too.”
Nonplussed by the lack of aggression, Jason took his own seat and began serving himself as well.
Over dinner, the others filled him in on the major family drama as well as what had happened in Gotham while he’d been gone. Even Bruce seemed to be trying after his initial missteps.
But then they were finishing dessert and Tim got up to leave.
“Hey, Replacement, by the way, can I get your opinion on something? My computer skills don’t seem to be enough to get me the information I need.”
“Really? You’re gonna call me ‘Replacement’ at the same time as you ask for help? Fuck you?”
“Language, Master Tim.”
“Sorry, Alfred.”
“Look, Tim,” Jason corrected himself, “apparently someone contacted me months ago for help and I only just found out because I’ve been gone. It seems to be time-sensitive. Now, I can spend days or weeks more trying to figure this out on my own or you could probably do it in an hour or two.”
And of course Bruce had to butt in. “Who contacted you and what is this case?”
Jason shrugged. “Dunno. Looks like a case of wrong number, actually.
“A wrong number?” That caught Tim’s attention.
Jason hid his grin. Hook, line, and sinker. “Yep. She thinks she’s texting someone named Danny. I’m the one getting the messages.”
Tim sighed. “Fine. Give me a ride back to my place and I’ll see what I can do.”
-----
“What the fuck, Jason.”
Eight hours later and they were both tired and Tim still hadn’t gotten anywhere with his search. But he had fried two computers.
“It’s not supposed to do that, is it?” asked Jason staring at the Lazarus-green screen covered in bright blue gibberish. “Is that color combination even legal?”
“You’re worried about the colors? Dude! This isn’t even code. I don’t even recognize half these symbols!”
The computer let out an awful screeching-wail that had Jason covering his ears. Then it started to smoke and the screen when black. When Tim tried to check out the hardware, it had overheated so badly the plastic casing was melted.
“I think it’s time we try calling this Jazz woman.”
“Yeah. Would it be better to call her as Jason or Red Hood?”
Tim just raised and eyebrow at him and Jason sighed as he opened up his messages and hit call, setting it to speaker phone.
He winced when a woman picked up instantly with a cry of, “Danny!”
“I’m afraid this isn’t Danny,” said Jason.
He counted the seconds until the woman spoke again. Seven. “Please, just delete all the messages. If anyone finds out about them, I’ll be arrested. And the guys in white aren’t gentle with prisoners.”
Tim’s eyebrows rose and Jason bit his cheek to hold back the curses.
“You’ve got the wrong idea. I might not be Danny, but I want to help. You’ve reached Red Hood. I was unconctactable for the last few months while on a mission and I only just saw your messages. Red Robin is with me and we plan to help you and Danny. But we need more information.”
Another pause and then Jazz spoke again. “I’ll need some proof you are who you say you are.”
“Seems reasonable,” agreed Tim. “Give us fifteen minutes to get into costume. We’ll take a selfie. You can even specify the pose and any features you want included. Sound fair?”
“Fine. I want Red Robin to give Red Hood rabbit ears and Red Hood to give Red Robin Moose antlers."
Jason groaned. “Seriously? Can’t it be literally anything else?”
“Nope. I want to be sure you’re not just stealing something off the internet. I’ll also be doing a reverse image search on whatever picture you send, just to confirm.”
Tim laughed, the asshole. “Smart. We’ll send the photos soon as we’re changed and in position.”
“Very good. I’ll also have some questions for you, you understand. My record with those associated with the government has not been very good. Which is why my brother, his friends, and I never contacted the Justice League.”
“It’s a good thing I don’t associate with the government then, isn’t it?” asked Jason.
“That’s the only reason I’m even considering telling you the truth, Mr. Hood.”
-----
It ended up being half an hour before they could both get in uniform and agree on a spot where they could take the pictures. Jason finally convinced Tim they should pose next to his favorite grotesque and the pictures were sent off.
Five minutes later, his phone range.
“Cute gargoyle,” said Jazz before they could even get out a greeting.
“It’s a grotesque, actually,” corrected Jason on autopilot. He could feel Tim’s eye roll even with the mask.
"Why can't I access anything from the town of Amity or find any information on the GIW you mentioned? I fried three computers trying to track down information. Literally. Had to disable the smoke detectors."
Now it was Jason's turn to roll his eyes. Tim always got so intense when it came to research.
“You certainly don’t waste time. But before I answer your questions, I need to ask my own.”
Tim frowned, but there was no sign of frustration in his voice when he spoke. “Of course. What do you need to know?”
“What do you know about ghosts?”
“One of my teammates is a ghost,” said Tim.
“And there’s another one who works with Justice League Dark,” added Jason.
A pause, then a surprised, “Really? I didn’t know that.” She hummed and Jason wished he could see her face to see what she was thinking. “Do you know about the Anti-Ecto Acts?”
“The what?” asked Tim even as he started typing into his watch. “Wait, if I search for this, will my device burst into flames?”
For the first time, Jazz laughed in genuine amusement and Jason felt he was getting a glimpse into who she really was. The sound pushed the green back from the back of his head and his breath seemed to come a little easier.
“No, the acts are fine. Here, I’ve got the code number.”
Tim searched the number Jazz related. Thirty seconds after pulling it up, he let out a low whistle. “What the fuck. The League has no idea these laws exist. I can promise you that. Martian Manhunter and all Lanterns would leave immediately.”
“What’s it say?” demanded Jason, trying to read the tiny screen over Tim’s shoulder.
“These Ectoplasm Dependent Entities, are they the ghosts you mentioned?”
“Yes. More specifically, the ghosts referred to are sapient creatures from a parallel dimension called the Infinite Realms by its residents and the Ghost Zone by some humans. Ectoplasm, and this is an oversimplification to the point of being incorrect, is required by ghosts the way living creatures on Earth need carbon. Hood, the Anti-Ecto Acts declare all Realm Ghosts as non-sapient, excluding them from the Meta Protection Acts. It also states that they are to be turned over the to Guys in White, more formally known as the Ghost Investigation Ward and abbreviated to GIW, for experimentation and elimination.”
“Well shit. And I assume Danny is targeted by this group?”
“Got it in one.”
A chill went down Jason’s spine. “That’s what you meant by his funeral being three years too late.”
She sighed, all hints of laugher gone and Jason wished he could bring it back. “My brother is different. I won’t tell you more than that. He’s still alive, though. Or at least he was when he escaped the Guys in White about three months ago.”
Jason and Tim exchanged glances. She was definitely holding a lot back. So Jason decided to change tactics. “You mentioned another Dani, too. With an i?”
“She’s my brother’s clone. We consider her our little sister, but our parents don’t know about her. We haven’t been able to provide a stable home for her and she loves to travel and is more than capable of protecting herself, so we just keep in contact and hope she’ll come when she needs help.”
Tim perked at the word clone. “We can offer her safety,” he promised. “One of my teammates and best friends is a clone.”
Jazz hummed. “I'll let her know the next time she reaches out. No promises, though. She's even less trustful than I am.”
Jason took deep breaths. “How old are you, your brother, and sister?” She sounded young and had mentioned college many times in her messages.
Jazz hesitated. “We’re all teenagers. Dani was created three years ago, but was aged up.”
Jason spun and kicked the wall hard. Tim caught his arm to keep him from overbalancing. “Okay. Of course you are. Because adults can’t help but force children into roles they should never have to take.”
Tim rolled his eyes. “Bit hypocritical of you to say that.”
“Yeah, well, look where it got me,” Jason retorted, voice a growl.
“I feel like I’m missing some context,” said Jazz.
“It’s nothing,” said Jason. “I just hate when adults put kids in danger or don’t help them get out of danger.” And it was definitely time to change the subject. “You mentioned two other people? A Tucker and Sam? Do they need help?”
“They’re not in danger like the Dannies. But the Guys in White suspect the three of us of collaborating with ghosts and are keeping a close eye on us. Our main phones are tapped and any messages we send will be read and all calls recorded. The instant they have proof we’ve assisted or plan to assist ghosts, we’ll be arrested and detained.”
“What can I do to access information on these Guys in White and Amity?” asked Tim.
“You need a computer that’s ectoplasm-compatible. I don’t have a spare, but Tucker would. He’s at a tech school in San Francisco.”
“What’s that mean, ectoplasm-compatible?” Tim was still typing away at his watch and Jason was jealous of his ability to read and listen at the same time.
“Tucker can explain it better than I can. But basically, things from our world don't work around ectoplasm. It gives off it's own form of energy and our gadgets, and bodies, can't handle it. But if something is exposed to low quantities over a long period of time, they begin to change. The ectoplasm is incorporated. This allows the device to display video and pictures of ghosts. Computers that are not ecto-compatible can't even connect to ones that are. An ecto-compatible computer, on the other hand, can access information from a non-compatible one.”
Jason couldn’t help but latch onto one specific word. “What do you mean bodies? Can humans become ecto-compatible?” The idea sent a shiver down Jason’s spine for reasons he couldn’t quite name.
“It’s complicated. Ectoplasm is dangerous for humans. Really dangerous. My brother and friends and I have done some research on how it interacts with living matter from this dimension and… Well, its far too complicated to discuss over the phone with people I don’t know if I should trust and who don’t have the requisite background knowledge to understand it anyway.”
Tim hummed in a way Jason knew meant he wasn’t satisfied and wouldn’t rest until he got all the information he could. “Would Tucker be willing to sell me an ecto-compatible computer if I reach out to him? How much would he want for it?”
Jazz laughed, but this time there wasn’t any happiness in it. “If you’re really going to help Danny, he’d give it to you for free. And if you can get him to trust you, he’ll show you all the backdoors he’s made into the Guys in White’s servers.”
“Fantastic. How can I contact him?”
Jason let them talk specifics as he stared out over the city. Not even twenty-four hours home and he was right back in the thick of things. When it seemed like Tim and Jazz were wrapping things up, he added, “I’d like to speak to you in person.”
“I’m in Boston,” she said with a laugh.
Jason made the calculations, adding time for a ninety minute nap. “I can be there in seven hours.”
“I’ve class in seven hours.” She sighed. “But I’ll text you a time and place. I need to make sure I get somewhere the Agents following me won’t be able to find right away.”
“I can go in civvies,” offered Jason. “I’ve more than a few fake IDs. Might be easier to hide what we’re talking about.”
She hummed in consideration. “I’ll let you know. I have your number after all.”
“That you do. I’ll head your way sooner than later so I’m at least close by when you manage your escape.”
“Very well. Then I suppose I’ll be seeing you soon. Will you both come to Boston or are you going to Tucker first, Red Robin?”
“I’m going to go to Tucker. I need that computer and access to the relevant information. Then we can start to plan. Before Red Hood leaves, I’ll make a few communicators so you can contact us on a secure line. And I’ll give one to Tucker, too. At least then you’ll be able to talk to each other.”
“Thank you.” Jazz’s voice was quiet and filled with emotion. It made Jason’s heart clench. No way was she faking that. But she gathered herself and her voice was strong again when next she spoke. “And Gentlemen?”
“Yeah?” asked Jason.
“If it turns out I was wrong to trust you? Your bodies will never be found. My friends and I have been keeping Amity safe from ghosts and ghost hunters alike for the past three years on our own. We have access to resources you can't even imagine. And if we are no longer held back by the fear of putting both Dannies in more danger, well, we can do a lot of damage."
“Yes, ma’am,” replied Jason. “You can trust us.”
“I hope you’re not lying,” she said before disconnecting the call.
Jason let out a whistle. “I like her.”
Tim huffed a laugh. “Of course you do. You know, this could only happen to us. What are the chances of a wrong number text reaching one of us?”
-----
Far away, in a tower in another dimension, a being smiled. His appearance changed from child to middle aged to elderly and back as he watched the lives of many on the mirrors that covered every surface of his home.
“Just a little longer, my Prince,” he said as the threads of time wove a pattern that glowed just a little bit brighter.

Prompt: Grandparents | Lost
A/N: I felt like writing something with some Angst I guess, tho I don't know what all I need to TW so if I forgot something please tell me.
TW: Grieving Danny, mentions of accidental mass Genocide, Mentions of Character Death
AO3 Link: DPxDC Family Week Contributions
Danny sat on the roof of Wayne Manor staring longingly at the smog and light polluted sky. Trying to get at least the smallest glimpse of the stars above him and ignoring the two ghostly presences that he knew were watching him worriedly. He didn't want to feel like this anymore but at this very moment he resented Gotham. Despite Lady Gotham being welcoming to him and despite the warm welcome the Wayne's were attempting to give him Danny couldn't help but feel like he just wanted everything to end.
Amity had gone up in an ectoplasm powered explosion. The entire town was gone. And so were his parents, Jazz, Sam, Tucker, Valery, Wes, and everyone else he had ever known. Even Ellie had gotten caught up in it just when she had gotten officially adopted by his parents. All because he told his parents about Phantom. They accepted him, Ancients, they were even starting to change their ways. Their research was no longer biased and rather filled with the truth Danny was able to provide them. His parents had turned from Ghost Hunters to Ghost Defenders. Helping him and Ellie in sending them back to the Ghost Zone as well as rescuing them from the GIW. It was so nice not having to worry about them hunting him or injuring him any longer.
But of course everything couldn't have stayed like that. His life was doomed to not let him have good and peaceful things. Because the moment his parents changed they also stopped providing their weaponry to the GIW. Apparently that was the only thing that stopped these people from attempting to develop their own stuff. Which resulted in them creating their own highly dangerous arsenal.
Danny drew in his knees and buried his face in them, eyes stinging. Everything has gone to shit then. He knew that Jazz and probably everyone else too, would tell him that it wasn't his fault. But he couldn't help it. If he had never told his parents the truth, they wouldn't have stopped their deal with the GIW, then they wouldn't have started developing their own stuff. And then they wouldn't have come up with a nuclear level kind of ecto-bomb that was supposed to clean out Amity of all the ghosts but ended up destroying and killing everyone in town while leaving Danny as the only survivor just because he had been called by Clockwork for some stupid royal duties.
He remembered screaming, yelling and cursing once he returned and realized that his entire home town was gone. Accusing Clockwork of everything and nothing, demanding for him to send him back at least a couple of hours so he could prevent it from happening, but the other only shook his head telling Danny that even he didn't expect that change to the timeline and that it would be useless to try and prevent it from happening. Danny hadn't believed him at all as he broke down in the rumble place that used to be his home.
Of course that level of an explosion would also finally gain the Justice Leagues attention after all the failed calls he and his friends had made. He had wanted to scream at them too, blame them for so many things when they never offered their help before, but he didn't. His screaming at clockwork already had trained him of all the energy he had left. Besides one of the people coming by to check what happened was Batman and of course when they found him Batman would arrange for Danny to probably get taken care of which meant Bruce Wayne showing up and taking him in.
He guessed Bruce Wayne taking him in was still better than Vlad at this point, if that other halfa had survived that was.
Danny only went with the man because Clockwork had told him too, despite the anger still bubbling in his core whenever the ancient ghost contacted him, he listened albeit reluctantly. Because Clockwork told him that he could still avoid a Dan Timeline by going with that man but the ghostly teenager didn't know how. He had lost everything and right now he felt like he understood Dan better than he had ever before. His core hurt so much and he wasn't sure how long he could hold onto his sanity.
Sure he mimed the good kid for the Waynes, yet it had all been an act at the beginning. He got along with Jason just fine, probably because he could feel something familiar from him. Something he hadn't really paid enough attention to figure it out. Damien was nice company and he liked how the boy reminded him of Sam. Sure the kid had been a bit stabby but that was nothing compared to the time his parents spent hunting him when they hadn't known. Tim also reminded him of Tucker in a way, brilliant and adept to technology like no one else but the guy needed a better sleep schedule. Though Danny could relate to the coffee addiction they both appear to have. He kept his distance from Dick though. The eldest Wayne kid reminded him way too much of Jazz with the oldest sibling energy that came from him. Cass on the other hand was a nice and calming presence, she didn't talk much and sometimes that was all that Danny needed, just a silent presence next to him that didn't try to do something or talk about anything with him. Duke also was nice to be around though the other boy had kept his distance at first he now appeared more curious about him than before, Duke also had subtitly asked if Danny was a Meta, but luckily for the halfa, he had been able to redirect that question without answering it.
Still no matter how nice they were or how much he got along with them. It felt wrong, wrong to be here, wrong to accept their kindness, wrong, wrong, wrong. He could feel how his core fell into the chaos of is emotions as ice slowly spread around him.
"There you are, little Danny." He tensed but didn't look up. A cold wisp left passed his lips as he breathed out and he felt a ghostly presence 'sit' next to him on the roof; one was still watching him from a distance. His ice receded not wanting to end up making that other presence an ice block despite his need of wanting to be alone.
"You know, my son and his kids are pretty worried down there. I am sure that little Jason is currently tearing through every hidden nog and cranny he used to use. And little Damien is just seconds away from stabbing someone in his ire, he gave Titus one of your shirts Alfred hasn't washed yet in an attempt to find you and I believe little Tim is speed watching every video from all the cameras my son has installed. Sweet little Cass and little Duke are slinking along and using the shadows to look for you and little Dick appears to have become a headless chicken while simultaneously trying to calm down my son."
Danny didn't answer nor did he acknowledge Thomas Wayne's presence next to him. This was another thing he would have to get used to. Thomas and Martha Wayne, two of the ghosts that stuck to the Manor had taken to him the same way Lady Gotham had. But for some reasons the two were rather protective of Danny, referring to him as their newest grandchild. Something he just couldn't understand.
He was sure that if Jazz was here she could explain it to him. Ancients, he missed his sister.
"They are postponing their patrol until you're found, you know."
"I didn't ask them to." The halfa muttered lowly, still not looking up. The ghost next to him chuckled. Danny had figured out pretty quickly that the entire Wayne Family were vigilantes. In fact they were the Bat-Clan. If he hadn't figured it out by going around invisible and intangible during his first night here because he was suspicious of Bruce being another fruitloop then Danny was pretty sure that either Martha or Thomas would have spilled the truth to him sooner or later.
They had gushed so much about how proud they were of their child and grandchildren and how Danny would perfectly fit in with them. How they would give him the support he needed and the protection he deserved. He didn't want it, he was not going to replace the support he had before.
"They mean well. I know that my son can be…" Danny peaked up from his knees to see Thomas hand waving in a way that he couldn't interpret but had seen Jazz do too whenever their parents were being difficult. "... but he tries to be a good Dad."
"I don't need them trying to replace Mom and Dad." Was his grief, frustration and resentment leaking through his voice? Because if Thomas was going to give him the 'My son is a good Dad talk' he would not hesitate to change and fly away for good. He had played with the thought of running away before but Martha, bless her ghost, had convinced him to stay longer. How she had done it Danny didn't know but that woman could be very persuasive when she wanted to be or at least that was what Thomas told him.
"No one is trying to replace anyone." He felt Thomas' ghostly hand motion over his head like he was stroking Danny's hair. It took Danny a moment until he actually felt the motion, allowing the others ghostly touch to reach him and ignoring how his core painfully hummed at that action.
"Really, cause it sure feels like it with how they 'care'." Maybe that had been a low blow but the halfa was getting fessed up and bitter with the Waynes. It wasn't like they were mistreating him. No, in fact they were treating him very well despite Danny always drawing a line. Never getting too personal with any of them despite how well he could get along with them. Martha and Thomas kept encouraging him, assuring him that they were all honest with him even when he didn't want to hear that.
Because even if he denied it with his mind, his core knew, he had already stopped pretending to like them after the first week with them. Martha and Thomas constantly sought him out, claiming it as their duty as his grandparents. Checking in on him and how he was settling in, asking how he was feeling. And when Danny would refuse to acknowledge them, the two ghostly resistances would just laugh and start telling him about their family, trying to help him understand. About their son and their grandchildren. About random things the two had seen happening that the rest of the family didn't, like Alfred the cat and Batcow taking a walk around the Manor unnoticed by everyone.
Unwillingly he had learned a lot of embarrassing stories like that about the Waynes all during his first week. Dicks escapades with chandeliers, Jason's special book collection no one knew about, Tim sleep deprived action he thought no one knew about, Cass little pranks she liked to pull and no one ever traced back to her, Duke's hero speech practices and Damian's constant attempts to smuggle new animals into the Manor. His core had ached, lamenting the fact that he would never be able to share stories like that with his sisters or his best friends anymore. Rationally thinking he knew these ghostly grandparents only meant well but it only made him miss Amity more.
He curled up again, once more burying his face in his knees.
Would his core ever stop hurting? He had failed his entire hometown? What was his obsession worth now? He hadn't been able to protect anyone. Would… would his core stop hurting if he let insanity take him? If he became like Dan after all? Was that how Dan came to be? It made sense, didn't it? Dan did come from a timeline where he had lost everything.
"Oh little Danny." The pressure on his eyes became too much and the halfa could feel how wet tears soaked the fabric of jeans as he pressed his eyes against his knees. A cold touch lay across his shoulder and he was sure that Thomas was giving him a hug, he could feel his core calling out to his self proclaimed ghostly grandparents but he ignored it. "Let it out, there is no fault in grieving. Ancients know how nearly everyone in this family had gone and dealt with grief. There is no need to rush, we all will be there for you."
A sob escaped him as his shoulders started shaking.
He didn't know how much time passed as he didn't even register how the cold touch on his shoulders changed to a warm one. How it became more grounding as someone rubbed his back. The ghostly presence that had been next to him had disappeared but instead there were six other warm presences around him and a seventh one not too far away.
Danny didn't look up but he knew, he knew that the Wayne's had joined him on the roof and he was pretty sure that the arm around his shoulder probably belonged to Dick and that the one rubbing his back was Duke. The one sitting close to his legs was most likely Damien as it was the smallest and Tim was probably the presence to his right. There was another silent presence behind him, Cass most likely as well as Jason's sort of ghostly but not presence. He could even sense Bruce close by.
No one said anything and the halfa was fine with that. His core didn't warm at their silent actions but it did hurt just a little bit less. For a brief moment Danny thought that maybe he wouldn't have to become like Dan after all for it to stop hurting. Maybe Thomas and Martha were right that staying here would help him heal.
Thomas watched all his grandchildren silently giving their support and help when his newest grandchild was lost in his grief. He was still worried about the little guy, he wasn't the youngest among them but he was carrying a lot on his shoulders. His trauma and grief are so different yet so similar to the rest of their family and his core ached with that knowledge. Couldn't the children just be happy without any difficulties throwing rocks in their paths?
At the moment Lady Gotham was making sure that no other ghosts would come to bother his grandchild. Apparently little Danny already had his own little group of rogues that were eagerly awaiting to check on him. Thanks to the city's spirit though, he and his wife could make sure that the little halfa was settling in well with his new family without them trying to fight his newest grandchild.
"Don't worry dear." His wife floated over to him, laying her head on his shoulder as they watched the children. "They will help him with his grief and once they have he will fit right in with the lot of them."
A chuckle escaped him as he watched the eldest helping up the grieving boy who was doing his best to bury himself in his oversized hoodie. The second oldest ruffled the halfa's hair when they passed him on their way back into the manor, the youngest hot on their heels, sticking close to the grieving teen. His granddaughter taking the chance to hug the boy and not looking like she would let go anytime soon while the third oldest boy followed rambling about an observatory he would like to take Danny too.
"I know they will. I am just wondering how our son will deal with our grandchild's special status as well as counting as a royal family once little Danny opens up."
His wife giggled. "Well that is a problem for another day, dear. I am sure our Brucie will know how to deal with it and if not Alfred is still with him to support."
Thomas nodded. "And if everything fails, we will be here to help guide them?"
"Of course my dear."

Danny was done.
His grades were in the dumps, his back hurt from that new blaster his mom hit him with, he had to foil the plans of the world's most pathetic billionaire for the forth time this month and his town was on fire. Again.
Danny hated his life. He just wanted to leave it all behind. He never wanted to be a hero! He wanted to be an astronaut, but Sam kept pestering and guilt tripping him into doing thing "for the good of the world". It was only after Danny was badly injured because of one of her stupid plans and her blaming him for it going wrong that Danny realized she treated him like a tool instead of a person and they had a friendship ending fight.
Tucker had been trying to warn Sam against treating Danny like this for months but she continued to get worse, wrapped up in her eco warrior goals she got tunnel vision and forgot to care about the people closest to her. Tucker didn't care why. He couldn't forgive her for hurting Danny.
Danny decided he needed to get out of this situation by any means necessary. He needed everyone to forget this ever happened. He thought about making a wish with Desiree but decided against it and went to ask Clockwork what he should do. Unfortunately he couldn't find Clockworks lair and instead went to ask Frostbite for advise or if he knew of a way to erase people memories.
Frostbite gladly told Phantom of a magical artifact capable or stealing/absorbing information, not only from minds and computers but absorbing actual physical items as well. Danny thought that sounded ridiculous but was willing to search for it anyway. Needless to say he wasn't expecting the artifact to be a Morningstar. Grabbing the weapon and defeating the guard, Phantom booked it out of there and wasted no time erasing Ghosts from the minds of the Amity Park residents and the GIW. Danny was impressed to discover Vlad had lost his powers as well as his knowledge and that the basement labs and ops center were basically erased from existence.
One of the only downsides about the artifact was that if anyone managed to steal it from him before all the information and items could be deleted than they would receive all the knowledge and goods Danny was working so hard to destroy, thus Danny and Tucker came up with a plan for Phantom to carry it everywhere on his back in a customized black case.
Clockwork tries to stop them, but in the fight he realizes Clockwork wasn't using his time powers against him. Then it clicked. In his fight with his evil future self the monster had shoved one of Clockworks time medallions into his chest. Danny was immune to Clockworks time powers and the god was much easier to beat this time around.
Danny traveled to the Clocktower to drop the older ghost off and caught a glimpse of Clockworks window into the timestream.
It was worse then he ever imagined. Not the future. No. Clockwork couldn't see Dannys future anymore because of the medallion. It was the fact Clockwork had been essentially fattening him up as a lamb for slaughter for the sake of the ghost zone. He was planned to take the crown and unite the zone, fixing and repairing everything he could before being assassinated, leaving the zone in peace and harmony and the throne empty and uncontrolled. Danny decides to keep Clockwork in the thermos.
They proceeded to borrow the Infi-map to take them to a world best suited for Dannys new life and it takes them to the DC universe where Tucker wastes no time crafting new identities for them. Tucker doesn't stay, but he wants to have a valid identity for when he visits using the portal guns.
This is where the story begins.
Tucker hacked into city records and a few other places and got Danny ownership of an abandoned house just outside of Star City (which Danny was very enthusiastic about the name) and they decided to renovate for Dannys sake. It was surprisingly easy with Danny's powers. Unfortunately the hacking caught the attention of some local heros who decided to just keep an eye on them and see what happens.
Danny gets a job at a high end restaurant as a waiter and actually liked it there. The pay was good and the other staff was friendly.
Nothing good lasts forever though as he's attacked by some nut calling himself "Sports Master". Seeing as it appeared no one was coming to his aid and there didn't seem to be anyone around, Danny went ghost and made quick work of the guy, leaving him unconscious on the sidewalk. Green Arrow and Black Canary just sat slack jawed from the rooftop where they had been preparing to save the kid. And oh gods this was a kid.
Now Danny is being stalked and harassed by capes telling him he needed training and a mentor/legal guardian/adult and he's getting more and more frustrated cause he knows what they want. He knows he's a heavyweight in the super world. He knows that they want to find some way to control him. To bring him back into the fight against evil or whatever.
But Danny wasn't having it. He managed to wrestle back control over his life from a literal god. He wasn't just going to follow them back into the frey. Danny just keeps telling them.
The answer is No!

Bounty Hunter AU but DCxDP
OK, so I really enjoyed my bounty hunter au, but I feel like I could make it more entertaining. This is a human au btw.
Some info: Bounty hunter is an actual job and are mostly called bail enforcement agents or fugitive recovery agents. They can legally pursue fugitives across state lines and break and enter their house without a warrant if they know the fugitive is there. They primarily pursue and apprehend fugitives who have skipped bail or failed to appear for court proceedings. Only 4 states ban bounty hunting; Oregon, Kentucky, Illinois, and Wisconsin. (I do not know if this would be mirrored in DC because of how many super villains there are.) The laws regarding bounty hunters vary state to state. Only the USA and the Philippines have legalized bounty hunters.
Danny becomes a bounty hunter out of spite towards the GIW. His goal is to show up the GIW bounty hunter group and rub it in their face. And to catch Vlad and turn in the bounty on his head.
Danny's gotten pretty good at being a bounty hunter. He's caught quite a few criminals and is on the case of another one that happens to have crossed over into one of the hero's territory.
Here's a few ideas of how this could go:
Danny goes to Gotham to catch Johnny and Kitty. Given that their aesthetic matches Gotham pretty well, they're able to blend in well enough that even though Danny's tracked them to Gotham and is loosely working with the commissioner, he has to resort to asking for help from the Bats. Neither side trusts the other. Danny nearly gives up when Johnny and Kitty go through another dramatic break-up that has nearly the entirety of Gotham gossiping about it. He finds them, handcuffs them, and leaves for Amity. Both the bats and himself are relieved to not be dealing with the other.
Danny goes to Gotham to catch Spectra. Her and her butler are slippery and wonderful at disappearing, but given the amount of poverty they stick out. This tips off the Bats' that something's wrong. Danny gets to town and while the bats do not trust him, he's working(sorta) with Commissioner Gordon. As a last ditch effort to avoid getting caught, Spectra and Bertrand join Joker and Harley. Despite the four getting along, Harley gets jealous which causes them to have an explosive falling out, catching everyone's eyes. The situation becomes Spectra & Bertrand v Joker & Harley v Danny & the Bats.
Danny goes to Metropolis to catch Aragon. He chose the place because he thought it would be easy to lay low and then start a new cult. He wasn't wrong. Danny teams up with investigative reporter, Clark Kent, to find the slimy ex-cult leader.
Skulker goes to Jump City to hunt Beast Boy. He, unlike most of Danny's other bounties, is wanted in several states. He's also one of the few to seek out Danny specifically. So when Danny shows up to prevent him from doing his job, Skulker sees it as an opportunity to use BB as bait. A 'two birds, one stone' sorta thing. Danny teams up with the rest of the Teen Titans to take down Skulker and save BB.
The GIW ends up chasing down the same fugitive as Danny (for different bounties) in Star City. Green Arrow has to keep the two from destroying his city.
Desiree goes to hide in Faucet City. She's laying low by working as a fortune teller(cliche I know) but the ambient magic is causing her reading to be rather accurate. Especially the readings about misfortune. This gains her the attention of the news and Wiz Radio Show host, Billy Batson. The news is how Danny learns where she is. Billy thinks that Desiree is a new villain, while Danny's just trying to figure out how Desiree became such a popular fortune teller while trying not to make a huge scene. The two meet and immediately clock the other as a potential ally in taking down Desiree quietly. Between how many secrets Billy keeps and Danny's constant off-the-wall split second decision making, it's like working with the Bats again but they actually get along.
and here's two crack-ish ideas for you:
Danny is standing just outside of Wisconsin while Vlad taunts him. Saying stuff about how sad it is that bounty hunting isn't legal in Wisconsin. Danny just calls the fricken cops on him instead.
Or instead of Danny calling the cops, he just starts leaving. Vlad is not done taunting him though and starts to follow him, when he realizes he's fallen into a trap and left the relative safety of Wisconsin.

A DP AU idea
Fenton is important.
Phantom is the Hero of Amity.
Danny Fenton is lying dead in his arms.
...It wasn't supposee to be like this.
Not like this.
---
Ecto fire burns, devouring whole of Amity. Lighting up the obscure skies and the ruins of the town.
Everything is gone, destroyed, dead. Not a single ghost can be found, and its all his fault.
He only wanted recognition, why did everything end up like this?
---
He slumped to the pavement, Fenton lying on his arms, dead, broken, bathed in his own blood and ectoplasm with his chest cavity pried open for the entire world to see.
Not that thers anyone left to see it.
"Don't move."
He paused in his own thoughts. Looking up, he's greeted by the sight of Red Huntress, Valerie, poimtingher ecto-gun on him.
"Valerie..."
There's something not right about her.
Eversince moving to Amity park, going through countless amount of ghost atracks, he learned to differentiate ghost from humans.
(A bit too late to notice Spectra and her servant...)
Taking in her ethereal glow(a bit dimmer compared to most ghost somehow), the way her feet doesn't seems to touch the ground no matter how planted they seems to be and the oozing green seeping out of her visible wounds, he could tell...
Valerie is dead.
(—the GIW did something to Amity. Ghost can't stay in Amity for some reason and the dead doesn't turn to ghost no matter how much ectoplasm there is)
She's dead, and the only reason she's standing in from of him is through sheer will power and spite.
And its all his fault.
"Let him go Weston," she charge up her gun.
"Now."
Wes didn't respond, only turning his eyes to Danny's body before laying it down to the ground silently.
Valerie walks closer, leaving trails of bubbling, boiling ectoplasm with every steps she made. Wes could tell, she didn't have much time left. Soon, she'll be gone, just like the rest of the ghost that opted to stay behind Amity after what the GIW did.
"I'm an idiot." She chuckled.
"All this time, it was you all along. And to yhink that i broke up with you to protect you and so that i could hunt ghost better when you're in fact, more than capable of hunting ghost and protecting yourself from them." She looked like she wanted to say more, to hold him close and just babble about everything and anything until her time is up but refrained from doing so. Instead, she send Wes the most hate filled glare that he had every seen.
"I want to kill you."
And that's fine, Wes wants to die too.
"But I won't." She put her gun down.
"I want to kill you ,to make you feel what i feel, to make you feel what danny felt in those bastards hands. But I won't, Danny won't want that. It won't bring him, everything, everyone back. It won't even make me feel better." She isn't looking at Wes anymore, she has that mad glint in her eyes, flashing red as she speak and her emotions peak. It grew everytime she list down everythingshe wants to infict on him for causing this entire mess, her face morphing in to something more derange as she fell further towards her newfound obsession.
Making Wes suffer.
And he deserve all of it, he knew that.
But... it doesn't seem like she'll be able to follow through her obsession for long.
"Don't die Weston."
It would be forever burned in his mind, the sight of danny's vivisected body, and the sight of Valerie slowly melting in to a puddle of boiling ectoplasm over danny's corpse as she stared at him with her glowing red eyes.
"Watch the world burn from your sins you monster."
She melted, leaving only her eye before it, too melted as well.
"It's the least you can do."
And just like that, she's gone. He's alone, surrounded by the burning remains of his home town, the proof of his sins.
He slumped further in to the ground, staring at danny's corpse and the still bubbling ectoplasm that once have been Valerie's ghost.
He trembled, his hands shake as he clutched his head and covered his face, letting out a strangled cry in despair.
He isn't even allowed to die now!
Now bound to watch the world burn with his own fault.
If...! If he just didn't outed danny, hadn't exposed his secret, hadn't succeded in his endeavors! Then maybe, just maybe, the world won't end up like this. The world wouldn't have ended at all!
Everything is gone and it's all his fault.
___
The world continue to burn and all wes could is watch.
It's been a year and he's the only one left, no one, not a single life form on earth is left except from him. No animals, no plants, nothing except him and danny's vivisected corpse, that had not rotten one bit even at this point, lying on a casket with wheels that he dragged around wherever he goes.
(—he should have buried him, to let him rest for good and be at peace. He deserve it, after all he did for Amity, for the world and for everything that he went through, good rest is something that he desreve more than everyone else.
But he just can't. No matter how hard he tried, he just can't make himself leave him, to make him rest in peace
—he doesn't want to be alon—!)
Not even those mindless half dead abominations (not danny, never him) that the GIW made in a futile attempt at replicating danny's halfa status.
It's been a year, he barely slept and hadn't eaten anything at this point. What ever the GIW did, ghost weren't the only one affected.
Frankly, Wes isn't sure if he could even called human at this point.
There's nothing left and isn't sure what to do anymore other than doing what valerie told him last year.
"Then perhaps I could just reap you right now," a echoing voice startled Wes out of his own thoughts, he froze and everything JUST S T O P P E D.
The fire, the ashfall, the wind and the ever present crackling sound of the ongoing apocalypse.
Everything stopped.
"Though tempting as it is, I won't, because just likeyoung valerie said, Daniel wouldn't like that." Wes feeling–feel–felt eternity stretched as he watch the halted world around him before turning to the talking figure.
A purple robed clock themed ghost that shift from a baby, a man, and an eldeely man. It's lower half being nothing but a wispy ghost tail holding a equally clock themed staff with C W initials on it.
(For a moment, Wes swore that thought he saw the staff flicker and got replace with a scythe. It was so sudden that Wes almost didn't noticed)
Wes stared at the ghost as the ghost leveled him with a stern expression. Reluctantly, he asked,
"...are you Death?"
It doesn't seem impossible if Wes really think about it, considering that seems to be ghost for everything. Nature, Disasters, Dreams, Nightmares just to name a few.
So it's only fair to think that Death would be some kind of ghost as well.
(He wondered how the ghost isn't affected by what the GIW did but considering that time seems to stop at the moment—)
"Death, young Weston, comes with time. Both being absolute until the very end." The ghost said cryptically, somehow managing to explaining everything yet not at the same time.
"Now, I am Clockwork, young Weston. I must ask, how does it feels to know that you trigger the end of the world? Just curious."
Wes flinched at the defenitely accusing tone. His eyes fell to danny's corpse and his casket and felt everything crashdown on him once again at the reminder as he felt his body trembled.
"I-I..." what is he supposed to say?
"Under normal circumstances, I don't interefere with the timeline, it distrupt order after all. Event like this however, requires intervention."
For a moment, Clockwork's staff seems to flicker.
"And just like I said before, as much as I'm tempted to snuff out your existence out of every possible timeline in the ever expanding multiverse, Daniel won't approve if such thing."
Of course, apparently, this Clockworks ghost knew Danny personally and in good enough term that he could addressed Danny as 'Daniel' which is as far as he knew is something that Danny hates just as much as 'Dan'.
"That and I have thought of a better way to recycle you."
Wait, recycl—!
All of a sudden, the world turn upside down and spin, he then saw a familiar body in familiar clothes holding a rope that connected to Danny's casket and he felt something hit the side if his head and—
Oh.
So he couldn't even see the end like he promised.
---
A familiar ceiling and blarring noise of an alarm clock greeted Wes when he opened his eyes and ears.
He blinked, and suddenly shot forward out of his bed (his bed? Wasn't his bed gon—) his hands flew to his neck, to his head, to his body, making sure that his head is still connected to his body.
He let out a sigh of relief when he found that he's still intact.
A little calmer than before, Wes look around the place he woke up to. It... look exactly like his old room, his room way before he ended the world, the conspiracy board, his computer, his window, and multitude of picture of Danny both in his form.
His felt his face burn in embarassment and shame when it dawn to him that he had secretly taken pictures of danny in swimming trunks at P.E.
(Ancients, he really was that shameless wasn't he?)
Wes shut the alarm off and ignored the the conspiracy board (and danny's pictures when he was alive, alive, half alive, and not yet dead) and turn to what supposed to be his room.
This doesn't make sense.
This doesn't make any sense at all.
Clockwork flashed back to his mineld as well does the sight of his own headless body standing still while holding the rope of danny's casket.
He died.
He was dead.
How? How is this possible?
Eveything was gone, no one was left he was the only one left and—!
"Danny...."
God, where's danny?! His casket? Wha—!
His panic was interupted by the door being slammed opened.
"Dude! Dad's been waiting downstairs! Food's getting colder, better get down before he c—"
Standing in the door is his brother.
His long dead brother, telling him that's breakfast is ready.
His long dead brother who died from an ecto-ranium bullet to his forehead by the GIW.
Wes screamed.

Phantom, King of the Infinite Realms, Tells All in an Exclusive Interview
How a Young King Has Kept the World Safe
By: Lois Lane
GOTHAM July 3, 20XX—Following the last week's UN meeting, many questions have been posed to Danny Fenton, also known in his small town as Phantom, the King of the Ghosts. One of these questions being: why hadn’t he said he was the King of the Ghosts when he did his first interview? Fenton has decided to break his silence by giving an exclusive interview to me, Lois Lane. Below is the transcript.
Lois Lane: So, your majesty—
Danny: Please, call me Danny. You’re not one of my subjects; even if you were, I hate being called that.
Lois Lane: Danny. Well, my first question. Why did you decide to come out as the Ghost King now and not sooner when we interviewed you?
Danny: Simple, it was strategic at the moment. If I had told everyone I was the Ghost King at the time, the US government would’ve found ways to keep me quiet. Besides, the Justice League said it was better if I did it this way.
Lois Lane: I know you had touched upon this before, by why didn’t you come out and say anything to the Justice League earlier? Why did you wait so long if the US government endangered your kingdom and the world?
There are two main reasons. First, I thought the Justice League would turn me in right away. Looking back now, it was stupid to think that way, but what else was I supposed to believe? They uphold justice; my very existence was against the law. When my family and I escaped the GIW a few months ago, we thought our only chance was to flee the country and ask for outside help.
Second, getting any help from inside Amity Park was close to impossible. Because of the high ghostly activity, the GIW had closed off Amity Park to any external communication. A few townspeople had tried to ask for help when Pariah Dark, the old Ghost King, attacked and then sucked us into an alternate dimension. This was before, during, and after the attack.
Eventually, we figured out we were on our own, and I took down any threat we had. Then a rumor started going around town. The Justice League never showed up because they a. knew about the ghosts and b. thought the GIW was the best way to keep them down. It makes sense. I shudder at the thought of possessed Superman.
Lois Lane: Hitting on that subject. What’s to stop a ghost from possessing a hero, a citizen? They are dangerous, and yet you advocate that they are under attack.
Danny: No offense Ms. Lane, but a human with Kryptonite is dangerous to Superman. A person with a gun can kill a lot of people. Everyone on this planet has the potential to be dangerous; most of us aren’t. It’s the same with ghosts. The most dangerous ones are quickly locked away for the safety of Earth and the Infinite Realms. Besides, the percentage of ghosts that leave the Realms is less than 0.1%. Those that do leave don’t venture away from Amity Park. While there are shades—people that died violently and have not had a chance to enter the realms—they pose no threat to people as they don’t have enough power.
There have always been ghosts around us, and nothing major has happened to the Earth. I argue that the last two years have put the world in more danger than the whole of history when it comes to ghosts. The GIW wanted to destroy the Infinite Realms. As I said during the UN meeting, we are two sides of the same coin. If one is destroyed, so is the other. Humans have been a greater threat to ghosts than ghosts have ever been to humans.
Lois Lane: Hmm, interesting. Now, to get a bit more personal, how did you, a seventeen-year-old boy, become the King of a previously unknown realm?
Danny: [Danny laughs while scratching the back of his head.] Remember when I mentioned our town got sucked into the Infinite Realms? I was fourteen at the time. I had been a hero for under a year and was terrified. I put on a suit my parents had designed that amplified a person’s power and challenged Pariah Dark. He was a tyrant and had been put to sleep by the Ancients to keep him from conquering the Earth.
I found out about him when some of the ghosts had escaped the Infinite Realms out of fear. I ended up fighting the guy in single combat and somehow won. At the time, I didn’t know beating him made me the next in line to the throne until last year during my sixteenth birthday, when a floating eyeball showed up with a crown and ring and said it was time for me to take it.
Lois Lane: I’m sorry, did you say a floating eyeball?
Danny: [Laughs] It’s a long story. I’ll get into them later when I write down the guide I intend to publish in case anyone wants to know more about ghost culture. But essentially, they’re like a council of ghosts that are nothing more than floating eyeballs wearing capes. They pass judgment and are my advisors. They’re annoying.
Lois Lane: Well, that is certainly interesting. I want to wrap up this interview with one final question: Why did you reveal yourself? You could’ve gotten the help as Phantom, King of the Infinite Realms? Now, everyone knows your secret. Why expose yourself that way?
Danny: Hmm, well, honestly, it felt right. I wanted to show the world I wasn’t here only to help ghosts but to help humanity, too. I live in two worlds: the land of the living and the land of the dead. I wanted everyone to know that I understand both words and have them in my heart. What better way to stop any naysayer from saying I have no interest in humanity than by showing them I am part human?
Danny opened his eyes. It was still dark out. He didn’t know what woke him up until he heard soft footsteps on the other side of the door.
“Dami, I know you’re there. You and Jason might as well come in.”
Dami opened the door and entered, followed by a tired-looking Jason.
“Sorry, akhi, we didn’t mean to wake you.”
“No problem; what’s up,” Danny asked as he sat up.
Danny was staying at Wayne Manor for the time being but didn’t go out through the main entrance. They didn’t want the news to find out (at least not yet.) that he was staying with the Waynes and that his biological father was Bruce Wayne. That was a problem for future him when he resolved all the GIW issues.
Things were going better than they had hoped. They had most of the public’s support thanks to the Justice League and their PR team. The US government had banned the GIW and the experimentation of ectoentities. The UN has started drafting laws that protect all persons, ghosts, or beings with an ectosignature.
Danny was now more worried about what was happening closer to home.
Jason had problems controlling his abilities, and his younger brother had become more awkward around Danny, unsure of how to interact with him.
Jason woke up from nightmares in his ghost form (chest bare with a Y-incision weeping ectoplasm. His nails missing, and ectoplasm coming out of his mouth and eyes. Hair white with black stripes. Burn scars ran up Jason’s arms. Jason’s death screams echoed through the manor, haunting everyone.)
Thankfully, x-rays showed that everything was where it was supposed to be, and physically, Jason was fine—one less thing to worry about.
Jason went up to Danny and showed that his right arm was going in and out of invisibility.
“Oh, yeah, that’s a problem.”
Jason scoffed, “I dreamt that—well, I dreamt something, and now my arm won’t stop doing this.”
Danny nodded in understanding. He remembered learning how to control his powers and how terrifying it was when he lost access to or control of them. He couldn’t imagine how much worse it was for Jason.
(At least Danny’s death and revival had been quick.)
Danny sat on the edge of the bed and got hold of where Jason’s arms should’ve been. It wasn’t intangible.
“Okay, concentrate on the feel of your arm. The weight, the way it moves, and then imagine it’s there.”
Danny wished he could explain this better. He felt he wasn’t good enough to teach Jason to control his powers.
Eventually, Jason’s arm appeared again, clean of any blemishes. Jason sighed in relief and moved his fingers.
“Thanks, kid,” Jason whispered.
“I didn’t do anything.”
“Trust me, having someone who knows what’s going on and has dealt with this is plenty.”
Danny hummed in understanding.
Jason sat on a loveseat and closed his eyes.
“Have you heard from Talia,” Jason asked.
“Yes, she’s been sending me text messages when she destroys a GIW base. I wish she wouldn’t. I don’t want people thinking it’s me.”
“Tt, it’s not just mother destroying those bases. You’ll be fine; no one will ever think it was on your orders. It’s clearly humans destroying the bases.”
That was true. Since the discovery of the GIW, mobs, heroes, and vigilantes have gone after GIW bases in the United States to destroy them. Thankfully, the government hadn’t accused Danny of ordering it. There have been no ghost attacks since Danny destroyed the portal in Amity.
Danny heard a snore. Jason had fallen asleep; good, he needed it. Danny sent feelings of calmness toward Jason, hoping to stave off any nightmares.
“When do you think you’ll go back to Amity,” Damian asked in a monotone voice.
“Not anytime soon. We’re closer to the UN building here. I want to be able to sort everything out before going back to my haunt.”
Damian stayed silent. He wanted to say that Gotham could be Danny’s haunt if they stayed long enough. He stayed quiet. Damian didn’t want to alienate his older brother.
“I’ll visit every weekend. It’s not as if I can’t fly here. Besides, it would be hard for Bruce to find an excuse for why I’m staying here.”
“Tt, don’t worry about father; he’s used to scandals.”
“Dami,” Danny started.
“I know, akhi, I won’t begrudge you going back home but don’t leave because you think it would inconvenience father. He’s dealt with worse.”
Danny smiled.
“I know. Don’t worry, we’ll come up with something, but I miss my haunt. It calls to me. I can’t help it.”
Damian nodded. He’s been reading up on ghost culture. A ghost couldn’t be far from their haunt for long without feeling like a part of them was missing. And, while theoretically, a new place could become their haunt, it was painful for them. Damian wouldn’t ask his brother to give up something for him. He had already sacrificed too much.
“I’ll visit, too,” Damian said, “That is if it’s okay with you.”
“I would love that. I’ll show you my Keep in the Ghost Zone when we fix the portal. It’ll be fun.”
They went quiet, with Jason’s soft snores filling the room.
“You think Bruce will be okay with Jason going to Amity for a while when we leave?”
Jason had decided to follow Danny to Amity Park until he got used to his powers. Father hadn’t taken the news too well. He still feared losing Jason.
“The rest of my siblings will be here to help. Besides, it’s like you said; you’ll visit every weekend. Todd can come with you.”
Danny yawned, and Damian knew he had stayed too long.
“I’ll go back to my room. You need to rest.”
Danny took hold of Damian’s hand, “You might as well stay, you know if you want.”
Damian smiled, knowing an olive branch when he heard one.
“I would love to, akhi, thank you.”
For the first time in years, both brothers slept in the same bed. Both brothers had smiles decorating their faces.
Nobody in the room had nightmares for the remainder of the night.
Thank you for reading until the end!

Dc x dp idea 77
A reveal gone right ends in tragedy.
Danny told his parents he was phantom They accepted him. The problem is Jack accidentally outed him.
Jack and Maddie got questions on why they stopped there hunting and threats to ghost. The two just do catch and releases as necessary as phantom does.
Jack just goes well we don’t want to hunt our son.
Amity Parker’s just accept it. To bad the GIW and government don’t.
This leads to jack and Maddie making a device to get their family out. Ellie is a member of the family at this time. They don’t want to flee into the ghost zone as three of the five are human. Rather they want to make a device that goes to a separate dimension and hope it’s better.
If not just dimension hop.
The Giw break through the defenses of the house right as they finished an experimental version.
Only the kids make it through. Jack and Maddie stayed behind to stop the Giw and get rid of the ghost portal. They didn’t want to leave the GIW with means to destroy a whole entire dimension full of beings who could feel and think.
The three kids end up in the dc dimensions.
The justice league is alerted to a dimensional hop via JLD? maybe. Or some system scanning looking for it.
