This is a picture that I had been working on specifically for the year of the dragon, HOWEVER, I would like to believe that this would be a more fantasy Au with Auberon and his brother where the two have dragons who are bonded to them.

“Hm. Rin, hand me that?” Sae pointed up towards the mugs on the highest shelf, just barely out of fingertip range. He wasn’t a short man- Rin just had longer arms and a habit of putting things on the highest shelf in their shared apartment.

“Why? It’s not that far up, is it?” His brother looked up from his phone, expression uninterested. “Where’s your little step stool?”

“I can’t find it-” Sae blinked, then glared. “Ha ha. Very funny.”

“Don’t be mad that you’re vertically challenged.” Rin dug his grave deeper, knowing full well he was being annoying but not caring one bit. “Maybe invest in some high heels; then you’ll be the height all your fans imagine you are.”

Sae’s eye twitched, the only indication he was pissed. Rin blinked back at him innocently, rather satisfied with himself. One more push…

“Don’t worry, Sae. If it doesn’t turn up, we’ll get you another one. With little jungle animals on it.”

“Oh that is IT! Come here!” Sae was on him in seconds, pinning him to the chair as his fingers wormed into his ribs. “You’ve got a real smart mouth on you today, don’t you Rin? Too bad for you, I know all your weaknesses!”

“Geha!” The younger man choked before slamming his mouth shut, trying desperately not to laugh. It proved increasingly difficult the more Sae tickled, using all the old tactics he did when they were kids. “S-Sae!”

“What? Cat got your tongue? Didn’t seem that way while you were running your mouth earlier.” Sae dropped his hands to Rin’s hips, squeezing rapidly and finally getting the reaction he seeked. “There we are.”

“Sahhahahhahhhae!” The damn broke, leaving Rin to sink back as far as he could go in his chair. Cresending laughter pushed past his lips, filling the kitchen as he tried to get away from his brother’s devious fingers. “Knohohohoock it ohohoohoohff!”

“Apologize first for the short jabs.”

“Nehehehhehehver! Yoohoohohu’re juhuhuuuhst mahahhahd cahahhahause yohoohoohu’re buhuuhuhlt lihiihihke a dwahahahhahrf!”
