Another day of waking up in the bed alone. You sighed. Ever since Nao was accepted to his new part time job nearby your shared apartment, he got extremely busy.

Always leaving you alone at home, rarely walking or driving you to your university. Seldom eating breakfast and dinner with you, only returning home after you've slept.

As days turned to weeks, slowly became months, you felt distant and unsure whether he still loves you or not. After contemplating your options, you decided to contact his and your close friend, Natsuya.

He agreed to meet up with you at Asahi's sister's cafe for dinner. Upon meeting you, he knew he's gonna end up being the meditator of the relationship. The moment you started ranting out to him, he listened intently.

Natsuya couldn't help but ask, "Do you really doubt Nao? He's a keeper, although he's busy and may forget his promises, doesn't he always get back with double or triple of what you want?"

That made you quiet. You thought back whenever you spend your time with Nao. The grey haired man had always gotten what you always wanted, be it cheap or pricey. Sometimes even the things you're not really that interested in.

He neither does it to please and keep you entertained. He does it out of love and appreciation, and you? Maybe you're just taking him for granted.

You looked down to your lap, mixed feelings build up in your heart,

"Then... What should I do?"

After listening to Natsuya's advices, you went out to the grocery store to get the ingredients on the next day. As you were walking your way to your car, you ran into Ikuya and Hiyori.

"(y/n), you're out buying groceries?" Ikuya asked, looking at your full hands.

You nodded and grin, "I'm making a special dinner for Nao! He's been working super hard lately, so I guess I should prepare something great for him."

Hiyori could see your hands trembling, it was going to be about a five minute walk to your car as it was crowded on that day. He pointed to the bags in your hands, "Would you like some help?"

The two boys helped you carry the items to your car. As they were about to leave, you asked them, "Are you guys heading back to the campus?"

"Yeah, we have projects and assignments to complete." Ikuya shrugged. You could see how tired the young man is.

Swimming about 5 times a week, it was hard. You recalled observing how your brother would occasionally complain about back and shoulder pain from swimming. Especially when he first started swimming back when he was a first year in high school.

You gave the young men a smile and offered them a ride. They agreed and gave you their thanks. After sending them off to their dorms, you decided to stop for a short while to give Nao a call.

"Hello, (y/n)? Is there anything you need?" Nao asked, concern spotted in his tone.

You smiled upon hearing his voice, before you could ask him, you heard a woman's voice, "Nao-kun, who's that?"

"Ah, my girlfriend. Please give me a moment to talk to her," The man said politely.

Despite the stern tone in his voice when talking to the unknown woman, you felt jealousy and sadness in your heart. Nevertheless, you asked him anyway, "What time will you be home? I'm making dinner today."

"Ah, don't worry about dinner, I'm eating out with Makoto and his friends."

You bit on your bottom lip, but answered him anyway, "Okay then. I'll see you at home. Stay safe, Nao. Tell Makoto and his friends I said Hello."

Before Nao could answer, you had already hang up. On his side, he sighed. He could hear sadness in your voice. He already felt bad for not spending time with you the past few months. He turned to look at his female colleague, "Well then, I'll make my leave now. Thank you for the suggestion today."

At Asahi's sister's cafe, his juniors had the look of concern on their faces. Makoto was the first one to ask Nao, "Senpai, did Ikuya tell you anything about (y/n)?"

That caught the grey head's attention, "What about her?"

"Ikuya and Toono ran into her earlier at the grocery store. She sent them back to their dorms too. Ikuya said that she looks tired lately and that she had been planning something for you."

Asahi's sister, Akane came by to serve their drinks. She then said to Nao, "She came here with Natsuya-kun a few days ago. It seems that she was troubled with your relationship with her. Did something happen between the two of you?"

Nao finally understood. Without any hesitation, he turned to his juniors, "Sorry guys, let's eat dinner next week."

He also gave Akane an apologetic look, "I apologize, can you cancel my order? I'll come by again with (y/n) next time."

"No, no. It's fine. Go fix your relationship with her. Now shoo." Akane shooed him away.

Back home, you were on the phone with your little brother, Rei. You weren't the person who would cry on every single ping of jealousy. You'd talk to him for comfort instead,

"Rei, what do you think? I feel uncomfortable that he's with another woman."

"Ehh... I'm no expert in love, but the best way is to talk to Serizawa-san. It may be hard, but you know it yourself, nee-san. Truth hurts, but it's better than getting lied."

He had a point there. He was right, in fact, you were the one who encouraged him to try out with the swim club in his school. Rei called you with pure excitement and bragged that he could finally swim all four strokes.

With the feeling of affirmation, you nodded, "Yeah, I'll give it a try. Thank you, Rei. I'll see you soon."

"Right, I'll let you know when I've reach Tokyo."

After hanging up, you released a deep sigh. You buried your head into your pillow and decided to have a good nap to ease your mind.

About an hour later, you were woken up by the wonderful aroma of your favorite spicy curry. You rubbed your drowsy eyes and walked out from your room to the kitchen. You saw Nao peacefully cooking.

You pouted, thinking that your plan to cook for him failed. Once again, you depended on him. You quietly sat on the dining table, watching him with a small smile. Even though you felt jealous, you still feel endless love for the man.

You dragged your feet towards him and wrapped your arms around his waist, "Nao~ Why did you cook? I was planning to make dinner today!" You whined and hid your face into his broad back.

You felt the vibration of his back from his chuckle, "You were jealous aren't you?"

"Eh? No~ I'm not! What makes you think so?"

"Makoto told me about it. You were at Akane's restaurant with Natsuya weren't you?" Nao inquired calmly. "Well, when I found out about that, I supposed I was jealous that you went out for dinner with my best friend."

You looked up to him in surprise, 'He was jealous? But he didn't tell me who or where did he go with that woman!' You thought. You were about to say something when he turned off the stove and turned around, wrapping his arms around you. Nao then whispered in your ear,

"If you're so desperate to know about my love for you, how about I show it in bed?" His voice was low and he had a soft smirk on his face.

You felt your cheeks went red and you were speechless by his words. You were even caught off guard again when he planted a surprise kiss onto your lips.

kirishima ikuya, nanase haruka, matsuoka rin, shigino kisumi, tachibana makoto, yamazaki sousuke (separately) x f!reader | fluff | 1.3k words

summary: how would marrying the free! boys go?

warnings: none! pls enjoy 💞

a/n: i cannot write nagisa or rei x reader because i ship them so hard. they’re literally so cute together + i can’t even imagine them not being together so 🙂

you marry kirishima ikuya in a traditional ryokan with a temple attached. he’s not religious, but temples have always been important to ikuya since some major events in his life have happened there + he always somehow feels hopeful there. your colors are a wine red/purple + white. he insists that you guys should have the perfect wedding, w all the bells + whistles. the ceremony at the temple lasts for like 2 hours, + you’re so thankful that it’s nice outside. ikuya is shedding tears the whole time but trying to seem composed + elegant. but you can feel him trembling because he’s clutching your hand the entire time. the ceremony is held in the only “party/conference room” in the ryokan.

it takes ikuya a while to get out of his shell + loosen up enough to dance. thankfully, hiyori helps him in this department by giving him a few drinks. then the rest is history. ikuya still can’t remember the small details of the reception, but he does remember trying to talk to the koi fish in the pond adjacent to where the reception was held. there’s videos of it, rin made sure of that. you have to drag ikuya up to your room on the 2nd floor of the ryokan + you nurse him back to health the entire next day. which was kinda nice, since ikuya is absolutely adorable when he’s all pouty. your honeymoon in stockholm, sweden doesn’t start till the following week, so you spend your first couple of days married to ikuya cuddled up to him and snoozing.

you marry nanase haruka at the beach, most likely the beach that he grew up on in Iwatobi. the man did not want to wear a suit + you, of course, know of haru’s love for water. so you compromise + he agrees to wear a nice, white cloth button down with khaki calf length pants. your main colors would be a lighter, almost turquoise blue paired with white. when he sees you walking down the aisle, all he can hear is the ocean waves behind him and your soft footsteps in the sand before him. the only thing he’s focused on is this moment, and the fact that you’re the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen.

he doesn’t know what to do with his hands or how to express his emotions. will likely shed a tear or two. haru doesn’t write vows, because he thinks it all seems so rehearsed, so he will say what he feels in his heart when the time comes. you’re all left sobbing. haru doesn’t really like huge parties so your reception has music, of course, + he has a great time just dancing w you + his friends. the reception ends a little early because he wants to be able to spend time with you alone before being whisked away to your honeymoon in santorini, greece

you marry matsuoka rin in an aquarium in tokyo. he wanted to get married in Australia but didn’t want to make his mom + sister travel, so he opted to make his Australian teammates travel instead. both the ceremony + the reception are held in the aquarium but in different areas. he —surprisingly —wanted to take over most of the planning for the wedding. he has had this dream of being married in the soft blue glow of the huge fish tank, so you guys get married in the jellyfish viewing room of the aquarium.you don’t have set colors because of the darkness of the inside of the aquarium, but it works out because the light reflecting off of the jellyfish make for the most beautiful blues, pinks, and reds.

he cries like a baby the entire ceremony. from the time he stands up at the altar he’s crying. sousuke has to read rin’s vows for him because he can’t stop sniffling + no one could understand him the first time he tried to read them. the crying doesn’t end until the reception is held in the main viewing room since it has more space + the main tank has sharks! there’s tons of photos ops for the guests and lots of dancing. he wants the reception to end semi early, like around 10p, because you guys have to catch an early flight to your honeymoon in sydney, australia (y'all just stay in the apartment you share in sydney but you go on little adventures to somewhere new every day)

you + shigino kisumi have a destination wedding! he really can’t decide between paris and rome, but you guys agree on paris since it’s known for it’s romance, just like kisumi is known for his own cheesy romance. your colors are a dusty pink + gold or white. kisumi wants the ceremony to be short so you guys can spend the rest of your wedding partying with your closest friends + family! so the ceremony only consists of your vows + the official “do you take…”. he 100% makes the dumb “kiss-me” joke during the “you may kiss the bride” moment. kinda ruins it but is also so cheesy you can’t help but smile.

he lowkey cries during his vows but you can only see glossy eyes + hear little sniffles. people in the audience most likely will not know he’s crying. BUT BOY CAN THIS MAN PARTY. you guys plan for a tonnnn of wedding games that get the entire party up + bumpin. the party lasts literally till like 5a + you guys just head back to your hotel to begin your honeymoon, since you’re honeymooning in paris anyways

you marry tachibana makoto in a garden. it’s a super small wedding consisting of only both of your families + your closest friends. your colors are pale yellow + orange which mix nicely w the deep greens of the garden. he’s had his vows written since he decided he was gonna propose to you + getting through reading them was so difficult for him. his ears + cheeks are a furious red that contrasted w the watery look in his eyes. he makes it through, though, but the paper his vows were written on ended up soaked in his tears. you + makoto ended your ceremony by releasing butterflies into the garden, which was entirely makoto’s idea. he’s crying the entire time.

the reception is held in the greenhouse that belongs to the garden. makoto actually made most of the decoration, which consists of tealights in mason jars, beautiful floral arrangements, + little wooden barrels w cute photo op accessories on them. you have to practically carry makoto home from the party because he’s all partied out. he didn’t drink a drop but the dancing + laughter + fun he shared w you + his friends tired him out. makoto has always wanted to go to new york city in the usa, so that’s where you guys have your honeymoon.

you + yamazaki sousuke have a traditional wedding in tokyo. sousuke isn’t religious but he likes the architecture of old churches + wanted to have his ceremony somewhere with high ceilings. the wedding is huge, though, because of sousuke’s huge family. all of his relatives, whether immediate family or distant relatives, are invited because sousuke felt it was the right thing to do. your wedding colors are turquoise + coral, + the church looks beautiful decorated in these colors. the ceremony lasts about an hour + a half + sousuke is fidgeting the entire time. you couldn’t tell from his face that he was nervous but you could tell from the way he was cracking his knuckles, shuffling his feet, + adjusting his tie. you take his hand in yours + immediately feel him calm down. he whispers a thank you to you + the rest of the ceremony goes by much easier for him.

he says his vows with ease + doesn’t shed a single tear, but once you guys are on your way to the reception in a nearby hotel, he’s all sniffles + watery smiles. this man parties quite hard, especially w his friends. he’s overall responsible, doesn’t drink much, but he’s almost competitive when it comes to dancing. he will outdance all of his friends + even you if you try to challenge him. because of all the dancing, he’s complaining that he’s sore the entire flight to hawaii the day after for your honeymoon.

I had trouble with some of them. I didn’t know in which cabin should I put them. In the end this is what I decided:

Makoto it’s Demeter because he is green. And he likes to nurture little swimmers, so I guess plants too.

Kaede it’s Ares. No doubt about that.

Hiyori and Rei make a cute pair of stepbrothers as children of Athena. It’s suits them a lot I think. Bookworms both of them, and good strategists.

Another cute pair of stepbrothers: Asahi and Nao. Nao got Apollo’s healing powers. Asahi reminds me of Apollo when he was turned into a mortal in TOA.

Ayumu a huntress of Artemis. Gou and Isuzu are not meant to be huntress, although they are both badasses, cause they love muscles way too much.

Shizuru, I don’t know much about him, but he gives me Hephaestus vibes.

Nagisa with the power of “-Chan” it’s a child of Aphrodite. His Chan powers are his charmspeak.

The Mikoshiba siblings are hyperactive and peculiar, therefore I shall give them Hermes. Romio it’s their little stepbrother, he was born abroad and clearly has foreigner blood, so, I give him the God of Travel as a father.

Kisumi equals entertainment. No better dad for him than Dionysius.

Sousuke got Nike, Goddess of Victory. Secure Victory for my bae.

And Ai got Eros. Because of the p*rn magazine in his room in that little OVA where Rin was tidying up their bedroom. He looks like Cupid too.

On the other hand, I was very sure about the Big Three:

Zeus: Rin

Poseidon: Haru. Obviously🐬💧

Hades: Ikuya. He is so emo in season three and the fact that he almost died two times…

Natsuya knows that as a son of one of the Big Three, he is powerful, but he wants to escape from his more than probable spinous future and that’s why he travels so much and kinda “abandons” Ikuya.

Free! S1 + CD dramas > Starting Days/High Speed! = The Final Stroke > Take Your Marks.

Both S2 and S3 were remade in movies, and still...

> S2 didn't deliver, at least not what it was obvious they were intending to when they introduced it to us. They made Rin the cause behind Haru and Sousuke's beef but I don't like how he remains oblivious about everything. I love the joke there's between the seiyuus about he being the oblivious heroine... but they didn't need to go that far, lol.

> S3 was like a spin-off about Ikuya; even Haru (you know, the protagonist) was mostly a tool for Ikuya's and his relationship with Hiyori's development 🤌

And yet, Rin IS -once again- the cause behind Haru and -this time- Ikuya's "beef"... and, once again, they didn't have the balls to make the characters talk about it openly (because in this metaphor where Ikuya is ~The Little Mermaid~ and felt abandoned by Haru, ~The Prince~... that can only mean that Rin is ~The Princess~ "the prince" falls for and makes him disregard "the little mermaid" completely, given that Haru forgot about his promise with Ikuya and everything else after what happened with Rin, and he's all Rin Rin Rin when it comes to swimming and not only that 👀). Utsumi never hid this fact.

Instead, they throw hints here and there; flashbacks of Haru's state after everything that happened with Rin are everywhere (and it's in the fact that they made Haru have an "I'm not swimming with Rin anymore??" crisis 3 times + 1 chill version in Take Your Marks) as a reminder of that being the reason behind all this drama, even if it wasn't on purpose... they're there as a reminder of Haru having Rin as his driving force (I never updated this set but there are more scenes like these after S2). So, of course he'd just forget about Ikuya (I mean, ignoring that this plot is an afterthought in itself, it still works like this).

And don't let me start on the whole "hero" thing and how Haru and Rin are each other's -as Zakki said himself- but they also didn't go deep into it because it would keep adding more and more to harurin and harurin only; and, at this point... they did it well enough since S1 anyways.

SO. S3 didn't deliver either.

I won't pretend I don't love all those hints, tho... I love Rin being the root of everything what's important to Haru (I'm not saying that even it was thanks to him that he learned to cherish his friends and enjoy having relays with them, but that's exactly what happened; so, if you like Haru's relationship with any other character, you should appreciate the effect that Matsuoka Rin had on him... not for nothing, he changed how he used to see things... that's why there's even a melody called You Changed My Life and the impact of it is BIG when it comes to the way he started treating the others).

... I guess that it's the reason why, as weird as it sounds, I'm ok with both seasons. They mostly bored me, but that's it. The truth is that I'm more than content with Free! as a whole. And, while I was writing this, I felt like putting a lot of links because there's so much material! I had to restrain myself, lmao. But just to add one more:

Since I talked mostly about S3, I was thinking how I'll always find ironic that Ikuya was originally the character that made Haru realize the way he was actually feeling about Rin leaving... In High Speed!, it was Haru the one feeling abandoned by Rin's departure, but he wouldn't realize until he witnessed Ikuya reaproching Satomi she was "leaving him". Not only this scene presents a parallel with Haru's situation with Rin, but he thinks: "This is that rumored ‘lover’s quarrel’ thing. One shouldn’t interfere." ??? loool. It's almost subliminal...

The Shadow- Merman!Ikuya x pirate! fem!Reader

Description: Ikuya is used to Y/n recklessness, so when she decides to chase a phantom ship he's right behind her.

Notes: Song referenced is The Shadow by Sail North. I finally watched the last free movies, and now I miss Ikuya.

“None can tame the one the sailors call Shadow!” Y/n cheered as she danced along the rocks lining the tide pool.

A gentle laugh urged her to open her eyes.

“But you’ll still try.”

She pried an eye open and glanced down at the flooded pool. There, leaning on his arms beside her feet, was Ikyua. His shimmering teal tail flicked out of the small pool as the water receded, leaving him temporarily trapped. The fins around his ears twitched as Y/n crouched down in front of him.

“Obviously.”

Y/n booped his nose, making the merman flinch back and crinkle his nose. She sat down and dipped her feet into the pool next to Ikuya so he could lean his head against her legs.

They watched the sun continue to set on the horizon as another ship made its way into the nearby port.

“Sounds like it hasn’t worked out for everyone else who’s gone looking,” Ikuya mumbled as Y/n ran her hand through his hair.

“How long were you listening to me for?”

“Uh, whenever you started talking about setting sail.”

Y/n sighed, “So since the start.”

“I guess,” he shrugged.

Maybe she should have listened to Ikyua more. Maybe then she wouldn’t have been knocked from her ship as the Shadow’s cannons wrecked it. Her back slammed into the water, knocking the air from her lungs and forcing her to intake water as she sank down, pinned under a wooden beam. She tried to swim out from under it, only to knock her head against some more debris and intake more water in a shocked gasp.

Panic began to set in as her vision started to blur and she started to drown.

Suddenly she felt her face breach the water, the sharp cool air stinging her face, and she spluttered– spitting and coughing up water as forcing air into her lungs. She gasped, frantically splashing around. Her feet kept kicking something and she grasped at whatever was around her waist, faintly registering the feeling of scales and skin under her hands.

“-ey, Hey! Y/n!” A voice yelled as the thing around her waist tightened.

“I-Ikuya?” Y/n panted out, slowly relaxing in his hold and laying her head back against his shoulder. “What are you?”

“Y/n!”

The pirate captain looked down, squinting through the faint light cast by the burning ship to see Ikuya diving back under water to swim over. Panic re-entered her system and she scrambled against the person behind her again.

Ikuya resurfaced right in front of her and she reached out for him. He grabbed Y/n and pulled her into his chest, letting her bury her face in his shoulder.

“Thanks Rin.”

Y/n looked back to find a merman she didn’t recognize being joined by two others, one of whom she recognized as Hiyori.

“I- thank you,” Y/n breathed out. “Sorry for-”

Rin raised a hand.

“It’s fine, I probably would have panicked too.”

“Is she okay?” The other merman asked, his eyes must have been glowing because even though they were far from the fire she could see them clearly.

Ikuya looked down at her, eyes filled with worry.

“Are you okay?”

“I-” Y/n broke down into another fit of coughs, “I think so.”

The four men shared concerned glances, but the moment was interrupted by a splash as another merman joined them. This one came up right beside Ikuya and immediately addressed Y/n.

“How many people were on the ship?” His voice was stern, causing Y/n to flinch back into Ikuya.

“Ni-chan,” Ikuya hissed.

“Twenty six, not counting myself,” Y/n said, shivering as the wind picked up.

“You came out here with a crew of twenty-six?” Ikuya hissed, his claws cutting through Y/n’s shirt.

The pirate captain hissed as the claws broke skin and the salt water soaked into the open wounds. In turn she dug her nails into his arms.

“I wasn’t going to make anyone join me.”

“Ikuya,” Hiyori urged, placing a hand on his friend's shoulder, “we have to get Y/n out of the water.”

“You’re also hurting me,” Y/n muttered, making Ikuya let her go.

Ikuya’s brother pulled over a wooden plank and the brothers helped her up.

The wind child her to the bone, forcing her into a fit of shivers and concerning her saviors.

“Why-why did you ask about my crew?”

In the faint light cast by the wreckage of her ship, she saw Ikuya’s brother frown.

��I’m sorry.”

Y/n wakes up to warmth and softness. She winces at the bright light coming in through the window as she opens her eyes, groaning when she tries to move. There’s a weight against her upper legs and her neck feels stiff, but she finds she can’t speak. Her mouth is dry and swallowing grates like sandpaper, but she can’t reach the glass of water on the nearby table.

She must be moving a bit though, because the weight on her legs shifts and gets completely off her.

“Y/n?” Ikuya’s groggy voice calls.

She carefully turns her head to find him rubbing at his eyes and yawning.

As he blinks the sleep from his eyes, Y/n registers that they’re on land and her eyes widen in surprise.

This time when she tries to speak, Ikuya notices.

“Here.”

He helps her sit up and drink some water, even though swallowing hurts.

“I’m glad you’re awake.” Ikuya stares into her eyes for a moment, unblinking, before clearing his throat and sitting back. “Let me go get Nao.”

“I-” Y/n croaked, but he was gone.

It was only for a moment though, as a man with gray-ish blue hair and glasses entered the room trailed by Ikuya. He sat down in the seat Ikuya had been occupying as Ikuya hovered just behind him.

“Hello,” Nao said softly, “does anything hurt?”

“Is ‘everything’ an answer?”

Ikuya let out a puff of laughter and Nao smiled, reaching out to cup her face. He turned her head towards him carefully, examining her eyes, before turning her straight again and picking up an empty cup.

“Can you open your shirt so I can listen to your breathing?”

Y/n tried to raise her arms.

“No.”

“May I?”

“Okay.”

Nao undid the first two buttons of her shirt before shifting to sit beside her on the bed and placing the cup against her chest. He listened carefully, asking her to take deep breaths before moving back to the stool.

“Ikuya?” Y/n asked, making him perk up.

“Why do you have legs?” Ikuya went to speak but she continued. “Am I… Am I, dead?”

“What? No!”

“I can assure you, you’re perfectly fine,” Nao said, buttoning her shirt back up. “I’ll leave you two alone for a minute.”

He got up and Ikuya quickly dropped back into his seat while Nao left. The bedroom door closed behind him, and a yelp was heard almost immediately as Nao scolded someone.

Ikuya clicked his tongue. “Ni-chan was probably trying to snoop,” he explained. Then he turned back to her. “You probably have a lot of questions.”

“Yes. You have legs.”

“Not curious how you got here or where we are?”

“Yes but… you know what, start wherever and, can I have some more water?”

“Of course.” He helped her drink another half cup of water as he started talking. “You passed out while we were waiting for Nao, this is his house.”

“How did you even find me?”

The merman looked away, twisting the sheets in his hands.

“I was worried about you.”

Y/n started to laugh before quickly being cut off by her weakened lungs. Ikuya placed a hand on her back, rubbing circles to try and ease the cough. Once she caught her breath again, she looked up at him with a smile.

“Thank you, but we really need to work on your… habit. Maybe you can join my crew with these new legs of yours,” she teased.

“You want to go back to being a pirate, after everything that just happened?”

“This isn’t the first ship I’ve lost,” Y/n frowned, “but, I might have issues getting a new crew.”

Y/n fell silent for a moment, and Ikuya watched her eyes glass over with unshed tears.

“They’re temporary, by the way.” Y/n sniffed and looked back up at Ikuya. “The legs. Nao’s a witch, he’s also my brother-in-law. My brother, Natsuya, lives here with him and sometimes I visit.”

“I like your tail better.”

Ikuya laughs softly, reaching out to link his hand with hers. His thumb rubs gentle arcs against the back of her hand.

“You’ll have to stay here awhile,” he said softly. “You know, to make sure you’ve recovered.”

“If it’s okay with Nao.”

“It is.”

“Okay,” Y/n smiled. “Then, you’ll stick around?”

“Of course.”

(You and Natsuya are in a train, packed with passengers. You didn't realise that you were separated from him by a few feet, though he was still close enough for you to make eye contact with him every now and then, however…something odd seems to be happening..)

Y/n:(scrolling through your phone) *hmmm why do I feel like I'm being watched in a weird way…. I hope Natsuya is keeping an eye on me… …I don't feel safe here…*

Natsuya: (glancing over at you)*winks*

Y/n:(smiling at him and nodding your head)

(Suddenly, you feel a cold hand on you)

Creep: (starts touching you from behind, lingering her slender fingers over your waist)

Y/n: ( clutching your bag and putting your phone inside) *what the- that's a woman behind me isn't it?? Did she accidentally touch me-*

Natsuya:(notices something's up as a horrid expression paints your face)

Creep: (slides her hands into your shirt and feels up your stomach) hehehe~

Y/n:(shifting away) Ma'am I'm gonna need you to stop what you're doing-

(The people around you stare at you two, and Natsuya tries to push through the crowd and get close to you)

Creep: Oh dear, I was trying to fix your clothing~ you know, it was coming out from behind hahaha! Don't you worry~

Y/n: sure..(gives Natsuya a helpless look)

Natsuya: (immediate takes out his phone and secretly starts recording you two) *hang in there y/n*

Creep: (starts to touch you again, this time going below your stomach and touching your private areas) How lustful~

Y/n: (trying to move away, but she has a firm hold on your waist) *Ugh! I can't break free! Can't even do anything otherwise people are gonna act like I'm the one being weird*

Creep: (starts to take out something from her bag) this will sure come in handy today~

Natsuya: (eyes widening, takes a few pictures and immediately pushes through the crowd and grabs your arm, pulling you free from the woman's grasp) y/n!!

Y/n: (hugging Natsuya's arm) I tried to break free but she wouldn't let me-

Creep: Oh how injust! Everyone here can clearly see that you two are blaming me to get money off of me. Why would I do anything of the sort? Do I look like one of those people?

(People around start muttering and giving you suspicious looks)

Y/n: (looking at Natsuya, eyes filled with rage) Natsu, got any ideas?

Natsuya: (caressing your hair) I'll take care of it, don't worry.

Creep: (giving you two a petrified stare)Look at them! Such filth! Do you two honestly think you're even doing the right thing?

Natsuya: (ticked off, takes out his phone and plays the clips in front of everyone) Oh yeah? You think we're the filthy ones for protecting each other from the likes of someone who does things like THESE on public transport?? If you have any shame, you'd leave this place. I do not want you coming in our vicinity again!

Creep: what the-! That's not true-

Y/n: what do you mean "not true"?? You were literally touching me in places you shouldn't, I don't even know you!!

(A wave of gasps fill the air as the crowd now eyes the woman. A couple of ladies come ahead and grab her, dragging her away as she screams insults and later, the ticket collector puts her into the staff's custody. Natsuya sends him the videos as proof and gives him his number, in case the cops would ask. Some time later, The crowd on the train settles back down and some of the people even try to comfort you)

Natsuya: Alright there's our stop. Let's go y/n!

Y/n: yes, coming!

Y/n: (Deboarding) thank you everyone who was there for us, we're both grateful for you guys

Natsuya: (kissing your forehead) Hey, thankful little cupcake, Wanna go somewhere to cheer you up?

Y/n: (punching his shoulder lightly)I just want to stay in your arms right now…where I feel safe

Natsuya: hehehe~ Netflix and chill it is then~

Y/n: (moans softly, burying your face into Natsuya's arm)

(The rest of the afternoon was spent with Natsuya filling your day with comfort, lots of love and food, and he stayed over at your place at night, just to look after you)

Kisumi Shigino

(You two are having a fun date at an amusement park, when you notice a girl staring at your boyfriend. You get a bad feeling about her. She makes eye contact and she starts walking up to you)

Y/n: (holding Kisumi's hand tightly, tugging at him) Kisumi…Karen incoming, 6 o'clock …

Kisumi: (looks over and makes eye contact with the lass) Ohhh, don't worry y/n, I'll make sure she doesn't ruin our date~(takes out his phone and fiddles with it)

Y/n:(rolling your eyes) Do you need something?

Y/n: (gives her a disgusted stare and glances at Kisumi)

Kisumi: (winks at you and smiles) Not at all, we do have dates~

G:(looking around) Oh? Where would they be~ bet they're cheating on you~ hoes ain't loyal nowadays hehehe

Kisumi: (pulling you to his side and kissing your cheek) Well, my date is right here, and I know for a fact that he's not cheating on me

G: (Giving you a revolting glare) You are what now?? Heh, I might've misheard you, THIS, is your boyfriend??

Kisumi: (grinning proudly) Why yes! Isn't he perfect?

Y/n: (scoffs) And you look like someone whose face can be wiped off with a makeup remover

Kisumi: (stifles a laugh)

G: (glaring at you sharply) Tough talk, why do you think you're better than me? I suppose you don't know who I am?

Kisumi: Hmmmm….I can't seem to recall…OH WAIT!! KING KONG?? THAT'S YOU RIGHT??

Y/n: (bursts out laughing)

G: (gritting her teeth, walks up to you and shoves her bag at your face)

Kisumi: (pulls you away and grabs her hand) Whoa there young lady, chill out~

Y/n: what the- ma'am control yourself!! You're the one disturbing us right now!! Didn't we say we're together?? Go away this instant!!

G: (grabs your collar) Little pipsqueak! You're talking way too much aren't-

Kisumi: (breaks her away and pushes her onto the ground, giving her a death stare) now now, if I see you laying a finger on my y/n, I will not hesitate to deal with you myself.

G:(starts yelling and crying) Ugh! These two boys are threatening me!! Help!

Y/n: (looking around in panic as passers-by start staring at the scene) uh-oh-

Kisumi: (giggling)

G: You think this is funny??

Kisumi: (waving his phone) I've recorded every single thing you've said, right from the moment you started talking to us. Go ahead, scream for help. I bet that the police would loveee to hear this little recording of their complaint filer~

Kisumi: (pulls you close and gestures to the bystanders that nothing is wrong, then glares at the girl intimidatingly) Scoot.

G:(getting up weakly)Y-you!! Ugh! Y'all are nothing but ugly trash anyway!

G:(growls and walks away, tripping over a soda can and diving head first into a fountain right besides)

Kisumi and y/n:( burst out laughing and walk towards the next ride, holding hands)

Kisumi: (kissing your forehead) Mhm?

Kisumi: (tickling you and making you laugh)

Y/n: (laughing and giggling) KISU - STOP-AHAHAHA!!

Y/n: (blushing and covering Kisumi's face with your palm) Sheesh, such a smooth talker!

(You two go on ride after ride, having the best day of your lives and completely forget about the girl who once tried to ruin your relationship. With Kisumi as your boyfriend, the happiness, joy and pleasure is never ending, and the love is evermore)

Y/n:( catches sight of the lock of hair in the boy's hand) BRO, WHAT THE HECK??

G: oh calm down! You two don't need to overreact so much!

Y/n: overreact?? How about I cut off your hair?? Then I'd call it even

B: (pushes Ikuya away and grabs the girl's hand) don't you dare touch her

Ikuya: how about you first give up and Quietly make up for the damage you've caused??

Y/n: Fuck the game, You have no right to cut someone's hair like that! Like who even are you??

G: B/n do something about these two nuisances. They're getting on my nerves

B: you're looking for a fight? Then you've got one, heh! Think you're tough??

Y/n: (pulling Ikuya back) Control, don't start a fight with the likes of these two. It's not worth it.

(Hiyori had approached you at a distance and spotted the commotion. Unbeknownst to you all, he secretly clipped everything. The moment Ikuya is about to get into a fight, he rushes to get a professor involved)

Ikuya: (smiling angrily at the guy and grabbing his collar, trying to throw him away)

Y/n:(tries to stop him but the girl grabs your arms) IKUYA- hey-!! You bitch!!

B:( grabs Ikuya's hair, pulling it and tries to bang his head on his own, but Ikuya's stronger than him, and he can't resist the force of Ikuya's body) nnggh! You insolent!!

Y/n:(notices that the girl is wavering her attention and quickly sweep her feet, causing her to crash down) heh, tough luck~

Y/n: (quickly grabs her and detains her on a chair nearby, making sure she doesn't move by passing her on to a onlooking student) please keep a watch on her, I want to make sure nobody gets hurt here!

B: you little!! How dare you do that to my girlfriend!! I'll make this guy pay!!

Ikuya: (tries to keep the boy on a deadlock, but he manages to free himself, grabbing Ikuya's shoulders and kneeing him in the crotch) AAAH!!

B: (taking advantage of the crippling Ikuya, he grabs his shirt and tries to throw him on the ground)

Y/n: the fucking audacity!! (Jumping onto the guy and kicking his face hard, causing him to disorient)

Hiyori: these ones right here sir! Please take charge of them!!

(A professor enters the scene and smacks the boy and the girl hard, and then asks you and Ikuya to join them, as he takes everyone to the principal. There, Hiyori waits for the two of you outside while the principal questions you about the situation. He mentions that he's already watched the clip Hiyori recorded, and will make sure to punish the couple. You two thank him and reunite with Hiyori outside)

Hiyori: I should've come sooner…

Ikuya: (still in pain, just shakes his head) No… thanks for saving us..

Y/n: (patting Ikuya's back) Iku? Are you alright? You were so brave…thank you so so much. I love you..

Ikuya: (smiles tenderly and strokes your cheek) anything to protect you…

Hiyori: It's time to leave now…I wish I could help you take care of Ikuya, but it's time for our swim training. Y/n, I trust you to take good care of him! I'll fill in for you Ikuya, heal up!

Y/n: (nodding your head) bubyee, and thank you so much again Hiyori kun!!

(You take Ikuya to your home and let him rest there, as you tend to him…)

Y/n: (strokes Ikuya's messed up hair) how dare he…I'll never forgive that jerk.. Your beautiful hair..

Ikuya: (gently holds your roughly cut locks and sadly stares at them) If only I could replace these with mine…I can't stand to see your hair being destroyed like this…

Y/n: (shaking your head and resting a hand on his) Maybe, but I still hated the way he fought you…I hated when he grabbed your head…Every second of it…I loathed it

Ikuya: (winces when you place a hand on his, as it was resting on his crotch. He quickly tries to act it off) Nmm!.. Sorry-....

Y/n: (looking at Ikuya's pained expression) Hey…. Does it still hurt?

Ikuya:... No…

Y/n : tell me the truth…

Ikuya:....

Y/n: knew it. Let me just…(embraces Ikuya and kisses his cheek) I'll make the pain disappear. You're my everything Ikuya…I love you..

Ikuya: (giggles a little and pats your head) I love you too y/n, my little angel~<3)

(You and Ikuya sit there on the couch, gazing outside from your window. Watching the sunset in silence and being in each other's presence was more than enough to recharge and refresh the two of you back to normal)
