The submas brainworm is only getting stronger, so I have drafted a whole-ass comic for a new AU idea! One where Chandelure gets to take center stage and become the main character she was always meant to be~

The gist of the AU is that Chandelure has a ghostly soul-bond with Ingo, which essentially means that his soul is under her protection and he sorta registers as a ghost to other pokemon. Basically protects him from other ghosts trying to put their sticky paws on her trainer and also gives the two of them a bit of an empathetic connection. Not quite telepathy, but able to transmit complex feelings and lets them check how badly they're hurt.

Naturally, this means that when Giratina (who was honestly just trying to play around. They were given the tedious task of just opening rifts and looking through all those peep holes made them curious. So when they saw a soul that had a beautiful ghost bond, they became fascinated) snags Ingo and drags him through, Chandelure immediately feels when Giratina's power accidentally tries to overwhelm Ingo's soul and she absolutely loses her shit. Through psychically screaming and using her protective aura to try and bash Giratina, the distortion god acts like a dog that's done something they shouldn't and tries to hide the evidence of their messing around (Ingo getting fucked up via soul and getting not too gently dropped off a mountain).

I have more ideas, especially relating to how Emmet is taking his brother's ace losing her mind and how her actions affect the investigation, but if I keep going down these tracks I'm going to end up with another 90k WIP fic like i did with Naruto. (Though if people wanna see the AU written out...👀... I could absolutely be convinced. I'm very weak...)

For us viewers, we don't need to know more than to have the assurance that things are being taking care of. We don't need to be repeated the exact same info I différent words over and over again.

And there's silence with your team where you keep them completely in the dark about their future, not even saying what they just need to hear: "sorry about how things turned out, we have no certainty in either taking you back or not, right now our priority is financial stability, we cannot tell you our différent options so far, but we'll update you when and if we can afford to take you back".

There's silence where you ask for discretion because you will not be able to keep that many people in the team and don't want leaks about what branches are kept and which one will close, then announcing to a whole group of admins that they'll be let out of the project starting this or this day. And there's silence where you warn a lot of twitter update admins that they won't be in the project starting immediately through discord and closing said discours before everyone had even a chance to read it.

There's silence where you're afraid of leaks and there's silence where you don't treat people working for you with respect.

Random oc thought: I think I mentioned before somewhere that Saiph was actually the one to like Al first. But it was when they were kids, and eventually Saiph is like "Well, if I'm going to be a boy, I guess there's no shot, so I should stop stressing and we can just be regular buddies" and then, like, 4 years later Al is like "I think I'm gay" and Saiph is like "FUCK- I mean I'm happy for you." through gritted teeth because he lost his excuse to not stress about it.

very cursory attempts at rendering in blender. i have no idea how to change the background colour or make the entire thing brighter or crop the render so i did a fair few adjustments in procreate cause it was way too dark with way too much dead space. i did figure out how to switch the texture interpolation to nearest instead of linear so it’s not blurry, how to make the ribbon texture properly transparent instead of opaque, and sorta how to edit and add light sources, so it’s still a win. the quality difference between the blockbench screenshots i put in the progress posts vs even rudimentary blender renders is so stark lmao

#blender is just so dense it’s extremely not beginner friendly #whereas in blockbench once i understood the basic controls i could make immediate progress #i know i should look up blender tutorials but man i really don’t wanna make a donut #rambles #3d adventures

I think that what is bothering me the most about Gale's Waterdeep VS Baldur's Gate romance epilogue is that I am an immigrant born of immigrants, most of my friends are immigrants, I just turned thirty, the idea that two grown ass men can't have an actual conversation about where to live is insane to me.

Like yeah, it's a game mechanic, that's what headcanons and fanfictions are for, blah blah blah but like. Besties. The whole game establishes that Waterdeep deeply matters to Gale and Baldur's Gate can deeply matter to your PC as a Baldurian.

So why are we half assing this very important life decision based on what I said five minutes after fighting a netherbrain as one of my best friends run away in the shadow, the other flew away on a dragon to save her people, two other just went to Hell and I barely recovered emotionally from my boyfriend insisting he should blow himself up. Also did I mention we just fought a netherbrain and then we fell from the fucking sky.
