What about spaceboy you still like captsin space boy right?

I do. Frankly, one thing I will never forgive the writers for the Spaceboy comics is the fact that they decided to do a crossover with Sweetheart of all characters. Not only that, but you can see the obvious attempts at them trying to pair them up, which, in my opinion, was very forced and unnatural, and there are so many instances where even the artists don't seem to want to express them being in such a relationship.

On panel 45 of Captain Spaceboy's Adventures A Quest Through Galaxies, you can clearly see Spaceboy not paying attention to Sweetheart at all, despite the fact that she is a supposed "pop idol princess" as her fans claim her to be (claiming that Spaceboy would pay attention to her and fall in love at first sight yet here we can see the opposite).

There are even instances in which Spaceboy ever only mentions her as a friend, never once showing any romantic interest in her, and even if he "did", it was mostly because he was already embarrassed over something else, yet tried to hide it. We've already been shown that Sweetheart can be extremely up and personal towards others despite their obvious discomfort, so the fact anyone would find that endearing in this dynamic is quite frankly, disappointing.

An example of that would be from the False Wedding Arc, where they had to disguise themselves as newly weds in order to get onto the ship that everything was being held at. Spaceboy shows obvious discomfort and annoyance at having to practically babysit her while fighting the bad guys.

I don't hate anyone for liking this "relationship", but it is rather annoying having to talk to someone who enjoys it and then proceeds to act like every single thing regarding them is a sign of them being "meant to be" when in reality their reasoning is not only false, but delusional as well.

Nevertheless, we're also given another instance in which even Spaceboy himself says that he views her as a friend, which in the end, only confirms the fact he is not romantically interested in her in any way, so at the end of the day this relationship is even less possible to happen.

Spaceboy is better off not being paired up with anyone if it means better writing. I don't see the appeal in any of this Spaceheart thing-- the only thing is that it's annoying to listen about from those who like it.

Why I think spaceheart is a good ship: sweetheart can’t see how much spaceboy loves her and she thinks she’s so unlovable that she has to date a version of herself and she needs to see how much he truly cares about her and that he would do anything to be with her, their love is so strong. And I think spaceboy is a good boyfriend and can show her that she is loved and cared about and that he won’t leave her, sweetheart wants to feel deeply loved by someone and even though she’s not the best person she still deserves to feel loved and to feel happy. Spaceboy would literally die for her that says so much, I feel bad for sweetheart I just want her to be happy.. there’s potential for it definitely

Tell me what is the most underrated ship? Also maybe your most hated ship? Only if you want to say most hated though since you might not want to be negative.

(adjusts glasses) Alright, so, in order to be underrated, a ship has to have a decent basis in canon/BE canon, but not get enough attention from the fandom for some reason. Crack ships or crossovers can't be underrated because they're not meant to be popular, I feel.

The first that comes to my mind is Spaceheart (Captain Spaceboy/Sweetheart) from OMORI. It's canon, although very on-and-off and dysfunctional, but that's what I love about it. Capt. Spaceboy's name changes throughout the game to reflect his relationship status (Space Boyfriend -> Space Ex-Boyfriend -> Space Husband -> Space Ex-Husband), how fucking funny is that? Also they're both so dramatic it's a delight to witness. Divorce speedrun <3

(In VnC, I think any ship that isn't VN counts as underrated :( I feel like many people ship Domi/jeanne only as an afterthought or to keep them away from the guys, Domi/noé is usually brushed off as comphet, Vani/jeanne is “unhealthy” (as if that's rare in the Mochijun Cinematic Universe), barely anyone remembers Chloé and JJ or the dhams exist, etc.)

I'd rather not state my NOTPs publicly but it usually goes like this: 1. I don't like a popular ship but I don't hate it, 2. I have several unpleasant encounters with toxic shippers, 3. I start hating their ship by association.

Whenever sweetheart is mad/upset spaceboy sings to her to make her feel better and cuddles her

Whenever sweetheart is sad/upset spaceboy buys presents and her favorite snacks for her (it always makes her feel better)

They’ve been caught “doing it” by spaceboys crew in his house.. and in the spaceship (they’ve been caught doing it by sprout moles too lmao)

Sweetheart has also made songs about her love for her boyfriend (she’s a popstar after all)

Sweetheart has abandonment issues and she’s constantly paranoid spaceboy is going to leave her and Spaceboy always reassures sweetheart he’ll never cheat on/leave her and does everything he can to prove his love

Sweetheart cheated on spaceboy because she was paranoid he cheated on her and she felt unloved (and it was impulsive)

They are both very clingy! (And love physical affection)

Spaceboy gives sweetheart baths and bathes her (like she’s power from chainsaw man)

Sweetheart was baking cookies for her boyfriend one time and put some of her jelly blood in them (got this idea from miu iruma lmao)

Sweetheart truly loves spaceboy deep down, but sometimes she’s delusional and can’t see the love he has for her

Spaceboy would do anything for sweetheart, even if he had to hurt someone!

Spaceboy sees the good in sweetheart, even though she’s not the best person, he can see past it and see the hurt, sweet girl she really is

Sweetheart sometimes ends up going on missions with spaceboy and his crew (they don’t necessarily love it but they let it happen for their captain), and whenever they get into battles/fights spaceboy & sweetheart team up and fight together like anime characters lol (his crew ends up being secretly impressed with her fighting skills)

G - Grossest Memory: Probably when I threw up a chicken salad sandwich. I still can’t eat that stuff. 

H - Horror Yes or Horror No: Yes! But I’m picky. My fave kind of horror is anything I can joke throughout or make fun of. The cheesier and more camp it is, the better. 

I - In Love?: With these chicken nuggets.

J - Jealous of People?: I try not to look at life that way. Sometimes it’s hard not to be envious of what I see of other people’s lives on their blogs and stuff. They seem to have so many awesome adventures. But then it helps to remember that that’s only what I see online, I don’t see their whole life. Plus it’s important to me to turn it around and think about what I can do to get my own life where I want it to be, to have my own adventures.
