I just went outside and guys this ice storm is literally the coolest thing ever.
It's like 20 degrees F and there' a 1/4 - 1/2" of ice on everything. I slid down the small hill to the bike path just on my shoes like I was shield surfing, hacked a hole in the thick layer of ice on the ground to measure it (1.5" I think), heard a tree branch break off and splash into the creek, and then realized that I did not have a way to climb back up the hill to my patio cuz it was a solid sheet of ice. I tried stomping foot holes in the ice but I only succeeded in denting vague divots into the ice, just barely enough to hold my feet. I slipped and fell halfway up the hill (bent the ruler :( ) and slid back down to the bike path. Made it back up on the second try. It was fun! 10/10 will do it again tomorrow morning.
Sitting in the darkness and listening to thunderstorm and rain is so nice.
Looking how world lights up for a second and then goes dark again.. Rain is getting stronger for short periods of time, only to slow down after a while..
Listening to it, pounding on the window above me and next to me is so relaxing.
Thunder in the distance, slowly fading away..
I love that so much..
I just want someone to enjoy it with me. Sitting in a room only lit up by small candles.
Your vibe reminds me of the silence right before the storm when you can hear the thunder softly rolling in the distance and feel the hair rising on your arms. You can feel the energy. Smell the blessings of promised rain. Hear others flee in terror of what's to come, but you feel safe.
You are a beautiful storm. And I couldn't hope to know you any other way.
thats??? so oddly beautiful??? thank you so much???
