People say that Ghost is Soap's self control, his retrain. The impulse control to Johnny's chaotic energy.

Some might even go as far as to say he's the the mind behind Soap's more careful choices-

It's funny and Ghost laughs at it. Not in their faces, of course, but privately. Jokes about it with Soap, made it an inside joke between them.

Because... It's completely wrong. Completely wrong. But not extremely wrong, his Johnny is chaos incarnate, sometimes he does need a hand to pull him out of the crazed fog his brain gets after setting off the most beautiful of explosions. Or to guide him back after rage clouds his senses.

But that's about it.

In reality Soap is constantly holding himself back, with dangerous smiles and tempting words. He hardly ever shows his true colors or motives. Cunning, like a fox.

It's all about appearences

And what people, in their... Closed up minds don't see yet is that- It's not Soap McTavish that needs restrain (he still bites) or a hand on his shoulder-

But Simon Riley.

The Ghost, who looks calm collected in it's all imposing figure is nothing but a weapon at ready for Johnny to use.

One moment he'll be still, immobile, listening. Waiting, always waiting. Patient-

In the next one, after a simple look from Soap and a soft command. He's butchering the battlefield like he was born -made- for it.

Finishing everything in record time and going back to him, drenched in blood, stance at attention.

Johnny let's the most animalistic side of Simon come out. Let's Ghost take over with no judgement, only swiping the blood from his face with the same gentle caress you would use on a wild wolf. Love coloring his eyes in dark shadows.

It reminds Simon of the depths of the ocean. Dangerous, deadly magnetic and so so beautiful. John smiles up at him and he can't contain himself but to kiss his knuckles. Worshipping.

Because the truth is:

Soap disregards his orders with a roll of his eyes

Ghost waits patiently for them with admiration

And the reality is that: Johnny is the mind to Simon's heart.

The thoughts to his actions.

i know the books are lighthearted children's stories but gods i would love a grown up version of the pevensie siblings' experience with narnia.

it's a fairytale the way c.s lewis wrote it, and i adore his story (though i have some gripes with it as well), but if you put yourself in their shoes ? it's traumatizing.

being ripped away from england, thrust into this other world and told you're meant to save it from a great evil as a child. lucy was (almost) kidnapped, edmund was manipulated, drugged and nearly killed. they all fought a war that should not have been theirs. then they grew up in this world, separated completely from all the people they ever knew in england. and then that is ripped away.

a year later, finally starting to adjust to living in england again, being children again, they are once again called to narnia. they are happy, at first. but then reality hits. their dear cair paravel has become ruins. everyone they knew and loved in narnia are gone. they no longer recognize this narnia, and the new narnians do not recognize them. they only know the legends.

are you planning to do a species survey for qsmp when they add more members or was that just a dsmp thing ? just curious :]

yes actually! the reason i haven’t done it yet isn’t because of lack of members, but more due to how relatively new the server is! by the time i ran the first edition of the dsmp one, the server had been running for a good while, meaning there were a lot of different headcanons, interpretations, etc of every character. since the qsmp is much newer, and a munch of streamers are just now getting mcyt-ified and hybrid-ified, i felt it’d be best to let things simmer for a while to get the Full Range of possibilities. to me, running it now feels like the equivalent of running the dsmp one before the election arc. we didn’t even have goat!tubbo back then! i gotta give them some time to play in the space, yknow? especially with the fact that more people will be added, as opposed to the dsmp having been fully stagnant at the time.

until that point comes, i’ve been making sure to keep a running tab on the most common variants i’ve seen! here’s a sneak peek of what i’ve collected so far :3c

hey so as someone who knows very little about the Yakuza games, could you explain who Goromi is? (I swear I don't mean this in any negative way, I'm just genuinely curious)

ohohohoho

okay so she's basically Majima's drag persona in the yakuza kiwami 1 Majima Everywhere missions (where he pops up all over the place in various costumes so he can fight Kiryu). Kiryu shows up at a club and Majima is there as one of the hostesses in full drag and calls himself Goromi, insisting Kiryu treat him like he would any other hostess. what follows is a conversation minigame and regardless of how it turns out, they fight cuz that’s what always happens when it’s a Majima encounter lol. the whole time Kiryu pretty much rolls with it much to Goromi’s surprise.

despite this section being pretty short, fandom-wise she’s become her own thing beyond this lil bit. personally, I like to hc Majima as genderfluid cuz I myself am that so Goromi is like, my ideal type of everything - very nonconforming, very masc but femme in a crude way (my fav bit tbh), etc so I like to make a lotta gender exploration and lovey dovey art with her 💖 

I hope this explains her a bit! she’s super important to me so I’m always happy to talk about her <3
