WHEN HE’S JEALOUS…

He’d be quiet in the moment, withdrawing himself from the conversation while staying by your side.

You most likely wouldn’t notice it right away because he is naturally a quiet person—

The most he would do is send a glare at the man taking all of your attention away, but other than that he’d avoid conflict.

As soon as you two were alone in a private setting, he would be much more clingy than usual

Which, in of itself would be unusual, as he’s not the type to be so physically attatched.

Perhaps it was his more possessive side coming out to play, but it certainly was new.

WHEN YOU’RE JEALOUS…

He’d know. Out of all of the main four, he’d pick it up fastest.

If the conversation wasn’t important, he’d find a way to end it quickly, to save you the jealousy.

If it is, he probably wouldn’t speed through it quite as much, but he’d place his hand on the small of your back,

His little way of assuring you he’s all yours.

He’d bring it up once you were alone, assuring you that he only had eyes for you.

WHEN HE’S JEALOUS…

You’d feel his hand slide around your waist, looking up to see him staring at the other person

It was weird, you’d never seen him like… this!

If he was actively speaking in the conversation, every sentence referring to you would include some form of a pet name.

You could’ve sworn he said the words honey & babe at LEAST seven times

Once at home, he’d remind you who you loved most, pressing kisses to your flushed face.

WHEN YOU’RE JEALOUS…

Oh boy.

He’d be so proud, honestly. You loved him enough to be jealous? Heart melted.

You’d take his hand, tightly pressing your palms together and squeezing.

It’d take him a while to realize you’d been giving the other girl nasty looks for a few minutes, but once he did, he chuckled.

He’d make an excuse, wave goodbye to the poor girl, and then turn his attention to you.

“Woah, babe. If looks could kill..” He’d joke about it for a while, but in the end, he’d assure you there’s nobody he loves more.

killua—

WHEN HE’S JEALOUS…

He’d be extremely mean. Not to you, but to the man you were speaking to.

Killua is naturally really sarcastic, but he takes it to a whole other level.

Scoffing whenever the man made a joke, crossing his arms and looking away when you laugh.

He might use his assassin lineage to scare the other man away, but it’s rare he would need it.

He’s scary enough.

After freaking out the other man to the point where he’d left, he’d flick your forehead and roll his eyes. “That guy was looking at you weird!”

WHEN YOU’RE JEALOUS…

You wouldn’t know that he knew.

Not until the day afterwards, when there’s a chocolate robot laying beside your head when you wake up.

It’s his way for apologizing, or just letting you know that he did, in fact, know you were jealous

When asked, he’d shrug it off.

gon—

WHEN HE’S JEALOUS…

Gon’s not the type of person to get jealous.

He simply just doesn’t. It’s not because he doesn’t care for you or anything.

It’s because he’s too busy becoming friends with the new person!

Sure, he may pout if he’s not very interested in the conversation being held, but that’s the most he’d do.

WHEN YOU’RE JEALOUS…

We’ve all seen the movie.

Gon is oblivious, and remains to be that way unless you flat out tell him.

Feels bad for not realizing it earlier, but once told he tries his best to make it up to you.

He’d take you out on a date the next day, perhaps a picnic or something out in nature.

You can’t stay mad at him. After all, he just doesn’t pick up on these kinds of things very fast.

Killua's love for you is intense. This new and rather unique feeling confuses him, and as much as he doesn't want to, he asks his mother and father about it.

Well, safe to say that Kikyo is absolutely FURIOUS that Killua is even thinking about something so foolish. She dedicated her whole being to raising her sons so that they could be the best assassins the zoldyck's could raise, and the heir to the family is thinking about love?? OUTRAGEOUS!!

Silva however, Is much more relaxed than his wife is and even encourages Killua to explore deeper into how he feels about you. To Killua, his father just wants him to be happy and free however in reality Silva wants a secured future for the Zoldyck family. So long as his son remains 'obedient' then all is well. (And maybe Silva can use you as a way to blackmail Killua if he ever becomes a hassle for the family)

Anyways. Now that Silva is on board, Killua is free to do whatever he wants with you!

No doubt that Killua politely asked Milluki to retrieve some information about you. (And by politely asked I mean threatened to destroy Milluki's dolls) And after Milluki being the ‘wonderful’ big brother that he is, Killua now knows all of your family's dark secrets that even you don't know.

Gon is the first to know about Killua's crush on you and in short he's super happy for his best friend! Gon is also just as encouraging as Silva is, even trying to spend some more time with Leorio and Kurapika so that you and you and Killua can have some 'alone time' (Gon doesn't know how crazy Killua is for you.)

Spontaneously walked up behind you one day in York new city and cut off some of your hair. Everyone around to witness it, including you, thought that he was some sort of psychopathic stalker when he was actually trying to be sweet. Even after all this time he still has it in a small ziplock bag underneath his pillow.

He really likes sleeping in the same room as you. Even when you don't know that he's there. You look so impossibly adorable, what with your tranquil expression and your gorgeous body. Killua couldn't help but wonder how it might feel to have you so at peace in his arms, with your steady and gentle breaths pushing against him. He wondered how it might feel to have your hands so securely wrapped in his own, with the softness of your skin soothing his.

Goes without saying that he'd 100% kill for you or torture someone in your name. What else could he do to prove his love? Must he rip out his heart and lay it on a bed of roses for you to acknowledge his undying emotions for you? If he needed help, than surely Gon, Kurapika and Leorio wouldn't hesitate.

Let's face it. Killua wasn't asking you out. He was telling you, you're now dating. He’s got a forceful side to him when it comes to starting the relationship.

If you didn't want to date him, that's just too damn bad because how are you in a position to refuse him when he’s the heir to the worlds strongest assassin family?

"We're not a couple, Killua! Stay away from me!" You screamed. Killua giggled as he looks up at you, a wicked smirk plastered on his face. "Yes... We are, Y/N. I've chosen you." He steps closer, making you gulp. "You're mine now~"

Killua wears the pants in your relationship. Well, he made the pants. He's the dominant one out of you two and he won't have it another way.

He's not delusional, just a boy who’s in love.

Killua may be a little immature, but boy is he smart. Growing up the way he did really gifted him with the art of manipulation and gaslighting to get his way.

Sometimes, he likes to make you feel foolish and pathetic. As a powerplay move.

He informs everyone including his family that both of you are dating. Even if it is not technically true. If Killua says your his. Then sorry, but there’s not much that anyone can do to help you.

Killua also forces his affection on you. (If you can even call it that). His favorite form of physical affection is hand-holding.

His favorite kisses to give are kisses on your knuckles. It's a gentleman's habit he learned here and there.

Call Killua a gentleman, and he’ll hold the title with pride

He'd give you the most bizarre but most expensive gifts (mostly from rich and fancy people that he’s had to assassinate). A whole bar of gold, a diamond necklace, rare animals, flower stems, the fingers of the people he’s had to kill, etc.

Killua isn’t overly expressive when it comes to telling you how much he loves you, Y’know since he didn’t really grow up hearing the words ‘I love you’ on a regular basis. So I think the farthest he expresses his love to you is through his drawings, and the occasional makeout session.

Killua would come to your home in the middle of the night with his skateboard and wake you up just so that he can tell you about the assassin life and how difficult it is. (As much as it’s fun to talk to you, Killua’s purely telling you so that you think twice about ever leaving him)

Now let's talk kidnapping...

If you got to a point where you couldn't take Killua forcing himself on you anymore and trying to flee, he would surely track you down in a short amount of time and then have you tied up tightly somewhere.

It saddens Killua deeply, to think that his love for you simply wasn’t enough to satisfy you, but he makes a silent oath to himself that he will try and be better, the second that he finds somewhere that will make sure that you never leave his side ever again.

His next step would be to inform his parents that a "guest" will be living with them for a while. And as skeptical the family is (an no matter how enraged Kikyo is upon hearing your arrival) they welcome you into their home. (On Killua’s demand) They don't even blink twice at the ropes wrapped around you or the collar tightened around your neck.

does ikalgo have deeper significance to killua's character? i get that hes like a new friend for killua but why does it feel like he was portrayed so importantly to killua's character during caa? its like theres a deeper meaning, why did killua go out his way just to save ikalgo from those two chimera ants when they entered the building? and why did he look so hesitant? he had thoughts that said "what am i doing..? why the hell am i going the opposite direction?" or something like that. idk it just feels like togashi was implying something abt killua there but i cant figure out what that is. do u have an idea?

Hello! This is a great question!

Ikalgo's friendship with Killua is vital both to Killua's development and also to Chimera Ant arc as a whole! I can explain that significance.

Throughout much of the series, Killua tags along with Gon and primarily focuses on him. He befriends other people, certainly, but he generally does this through Gon--it's not like he's going out of his way to make these friends on his own.

In Chimera Ant Arc, the connection between Gon and Killua gets somewhat disrupted by the events that happen, and Gon's focus shifts primarily to saving Kite and his revenge on Pitou, leaving Killua to worry and feel somewhat left behind and helpless (partly as a result of the the Palm situation as well).

When Killua splits off from Gon to try and save civilians, he meets and a battles an enemy at the time, Ikalgo.

During their fight, Killua gives Ikalgo a choice: Either sell out his friends by revealing their nen powers, or die. Ikalgo chooses to die rather than betraying his friends, and Killua is able to relate to this loyalty. He spare's Ikalgo's life and tells Ikalgo that if they'd met another way, maybe they could have been friends.

Killua's kindness in empathizing with Ikalgo and sparing him is the only thing that saves his life later when he's bleeding out from the needlefish darts. Had Killua not extended that mercy and said those kind words to Ikalgo, Ikalgo would not have saved him, and he would have died.

It's interesting/neat how the scene right after Ikalgo saving Killua from the needlefish involves Gon having his own encounter with another friendly Chimera Ant, and the tone of their conversation is quite a bit different:

Anyway, when Killua shows Ikalgo mercy, makes it clear that they're friends now, and invites him to come along and be part of the human side of the war, he essentially becomes to Ikalgo what Gon has been to him: Someone who represents light, and who represents a path forward to a better life. In this arc, Killua worries that he doesn't deserve a place at Gon's side, but at the same time here he extends the same kind of light and hope that Gon gave him to someone else.

As for the scene where Killua breaks off away from Gon in the Palace Invasion in order to protect Ikalgo, this continues to show Killua's world expanding outside of Gon. Notice how in this page, it clearly shows Killua leaving Gon behind--they have their backs to each other, which is a frequent image in this arc. His mission was to protect Gon and make sure Gon could complete his revenge against Pitou, so deviating from that mission is both shocking to him, and potentially dangerous, but it shows that he's starting to protect and care for others as well as Gon.

Now, I want to be clear that I see this as a positive step for Killua. At this point in the series, Killua had made Gon his entire reason for living, essentially, and him going outside of that and making other friends and protecting and caring about them is a vital step for his character. It's showing that he's becoming a more expansive, mature person who can care for multiple people (or ants) at once rather than centering his entire existence and sense of self around one person. He made this action as quickly and efficiently as possible so he could get back to Gon's side, but he did go out of his way and leave Gon behind momentarily, and even he is surprised by this.

And while obviously I adore his nearly single-minded love and devotion for Gon, with what happens between them in this arc he needs to have others in his life besides Gon, and it's part of his transition into also being the light for Alluka and Nanika. It's a result of Killua's own innate kindness and empathy and the choice he made to leave his previous life behind, but also, he was able to reach this point partly because Gon showed him the love and encouragement he needed to become the person he is.

Now, as for Ikalgo's role in the arc as a whole: He's part of a chain of kindness and mercy that ends up changing the entire outcome of the Chimera Ant arc. This post puts it incredibly well. The chain of kindness started at the beginning of the series, with Gon befriending and rescuing Killua in spite of his background, which then eventually leads to Killua sparing Ikalgo (who then saves Killua right back), and then Ikalgo sparing Welfin, and then Welfin giving Meruem Komugi's name so that they got to be together in the end. Ikalgo shows the consequences of Killua's kindness, which are also the consequences of Gon's kindness, in part.

A major theme of the series and of Chimera Ant arc is that love and kindness are transformative, and Ikalgo has such an important role in demonstrating that theme.

°˖ ⊹ ꒰🌱꒱ ♡ definitely don’t expect killua to be the sappy, super overly affectionate type. he will either call you a dumbass or stupid or some other insult. but when you protest he’ll just be like “whatt? i meant it in a nice way.”

killua is not a pda guy. the most he’ll do in public is hold your hand and even that’s a coin toss. he isn’t that fond of things like that anyway, but mostly he’s just worried that if an enemy of his sees you with him that they’ll target you in order to hurt killua. he’ll never admit that, though.

in private it is a different story. he lets you play with his hair and likes to lay with his head in your lap. once he fell asleep like that and woke up so embarrassed even though you told him over and over that it was fine and you thought it was cute, which just made it worse. it’s rare he’s the one initiating physical affection, but it does happen. it’s slightly awkward when you first start dating though, since obviously that’s a new concept to killua. i can definitely imagine him doing that yawn and stretch move when you’re watching a movie or something, but when you reciprocate his affection killua gets all flustered.

killua has legitimately no idea what to do in a romantic relationship. hell, he doesn’t know what a good family relationship should even look like, and he never made a friend until he was like 12, so healthy relationships are a foreign concept. he will be absolutely flabbergasted when you buy him gifts every once in a while just to make him happy, and he’s shocked when you buy him chocolate robots for Valentine’s Day, and he is beyond confused when you give him compliments or tell him that you love him.

killua always admonishes you when you buy him stuff. whenever you bring him something he’ll just stare at it and scoff. “why do you even bother buying me stuff? i’m rich enough to buy your whole family and more, so why do you even bother getting me stuff like this?”

he always takes it anyway so don’t even mind him. killua has a specific place where he keeps your gifts. when he’s away from home he keeps them on him in a knapsack or wherever he’s staying at the time, but when he’s at the zoldyck mansion, killua locks everything away in a box safely hidden and always keeps the key on him so his family can’t get to it.

speaking of his family. you are definitely out of your mind if you think killua is willingly taking you to meet them. absolutely not in a million years. if ever killua does need to go back to his home for something, usually to check on alluka, you are staying wherever you are until he gets back. he will also ask gon to keep an eye on you if gon happens to be traveling with you. killua would rather his family just not know about you at all lest the zoldycks do the same to you as they sometimes do with alluka- capture you, and then hold you over killua’s head and threaten you whenever they want him to do something.

okay enough with the angsty stuff and back to how literally clueless killua is about dating. when gon who is the rizz god for some fucking reason informs him that he needs to take you out on dates, killua is blindsided. at first he just takes you places he likes to go, like the skate park or heavens arena to watch fights, but gon pulls him aside again at some point and says that he needs to take you places that you enjoy. which is something that killua is kind of stubborn about at first, but he does actually want to make you happy, so he obliges.

there’s this post on like twitter or something where this guy is talking about how since spending time with his gf she has him watching stupid shit he would never watch like twilight or grey’s anatomy. that is basically what happens with killua. he’s doing stuff with you that he never thought he would do in a million years and enjoying it for whatever reason. don’t tell anyone though because he gets so embarrassed

one of the things he found out that he likes is wearing eyeliner. you made sone offhanded comment about it and that his eyes look like a cat’s and suddenly you were doing eyeliner for him. it took a lot of convincing, but when killua sees how good it looks on him, he’s asking you to do it for him every day. eventually you teach him how to do it himself as well

killua winds up going to gon a lot for relationship advice. what does he do when you’re sad? go to gon. what should he do for your birthday? ask gon! should he get you new shoes or a new jacket? what do you think, gon?

killua rarely lets you pay for stuff. he’s rich so he doesn’t see why he should

whenever you’re on your phone or reading a book or something, killua will randomly appear behind you and put his head on your shoulder and just watch what you’re doing in silence. but if he sees you’re doing something like online shopping, just scrolling through items, killua will tap the screen whenever he sees something he likes for you. he especially likes to pick out your clothes, and he’s actually good at it. unlike the going out on dates thing, he picks out what he thinks you will like and what looks good on you. honestly killua was the only character who actually changed clothes every day in the show so he’s good with fashion lmao. most of the time he’ll buy the item for you too

killua also doesn’t mind too much if you steal his clothes, like his hoodies or hats. he might not let you take the newer stuff, but he doesn’t mind letting you parade around in his clothes. on the flip side he will also steal some of yours.

killua is very much that bf who claims “im not hungry” but then proceeds to steal half your food. so you’ve learned that whenever he says that to order twice the food

around people he knows, mainly people he doesn’t like, killua likes to show you off- but in a subtler way. like he might casually hold your hand just to show everyone “yeah, i have a partner. no big deal haha”

you literally never have to worry about killua cheating on you. he is fiercely loyal. he’s not one of those bfs that, when approached by another girl or guy, is like “oh, im sorry, but i have a partner.” nah he’s sprinting full speed in the opposite direction of whoever’s trying to approach him. either that or he’s just super rude to anyone who asks for his number or is romantically interested in him.

*cue random mf who wants him* “hi! i thought you seemed really cool and i wanted to know if-“

“nah i got a partner”

“well i just was wondering-“

“fuck out my face im dating someone”

“hell nah”

in addition to that, killua is very much the jealous type. if you haven’t watched the phantom rouge movie go watch it rn and tell me killua isn’t jealous. anyone else who makes you smile or laugh or makes the mistake of touching you, killua instantly hates. he always makes sure to be there whenever you’re around that person. situations like that are an exception to his PDA rule- he’ll throw an arm around your shoulder or waist if he’s feeling really protective, or hold your hand. he doesn’t get jealous about gon, though- all three of you are friends and he knows for sure gon wouldn’t try anything on you in a million years.

killua may or may not go a little overboard with his jealousy at times, though. he might mistake a simple interaction for someone trying to get with you

killua is on the protective side and doesn’t really like for you to be out without him or gon. if you aren’t back within a certain timeframe he’ll start spamming your phone with texts and calls to make sure you’re okay.

Illumi x Reader

Illumi was a handsome men to most women, but to babies… he was terrifying.

Growing up, every time his mother gave birth to another baby, he would quickly be banned from seeing the newborns.

His big dark eyes and pale face would scare the babies into crying fits, and eventually they gave up trying to get them used to him.

So when his new wife found herself pregnant, he tried his best to at least attempt to seem less threatening… to little success.

His first meeting with his child was shortly after her birth. He peered over her, pulling down the blanket to get a better look.

Illumi could barely contain his excitement. There was nothing more he wanted than a large family, and she was the first to get him closer to his dream. He found himself smiling down at her, widely.

The opened it’s eyes, looking up at her father for the first time, only to see a pale face and black orbs staring back at her, an ominous grin on his lips.

A loud cry left the baby’s mouth, causing (Name) to pull the baby into her arms and coo softly.

“Illumi, sweetheart, I love you with my entire soul but please don’t smile like that at the baby, you looked like a creature of the night.”

Illumi tilted his head.

“Is it not my child? She’ll be training to be an assassin. At birth I wasn’t that easily frightened, and I had been my parents would have subjected me to much more terrifying things to crush that fear.”

(Name) stared at him for a second, noting another reason in her head to never leave her baby alone with Illumi’s parents.

“Darling she just needs time. Just let her get used to you, and she’ll come around eventually.”

But Illumi being Illumi, he decided that training himself to be more like able would maybe help.

“Sweetheart, why are you staring in the mirror with that expression?”

(Name) placed a hand on his shoulder, squeezing gently.

“….nothing. Let’s get to bed.”

After three months of intense training, he was ready to face her again.

It was the perfect opportunity after all. (Name) was leaving for the day to visit her friends, and for some reason she wouldn’t allow any butlers to care for her.

“I’ll be gone for just a few hours to meet up with Kurapika, Leorio, Gon, and Killua. No I will not ask Killua to come home, but I will tell him you said hi.”

She kissed Illumi’s cheek, then her baby. This was the first time she had felt comfortable enough to be away from her baby, so she had a few worries. It wasn’t that she didn’t trust Illumi to be competent enough to watch the baby, in fact it was the opposite. She feared he might over do it.

“I made a list of things you need to do. Stick to the list, no more, no less.

With that, she was gone. She arrived at her meeting spot much quicker than she thought she would.

“(Name), it’s so great to see you!”

Kurapika surprised her with his words. She turned around quickly to see him and Leorio, each carrying a wrapped gift in their arms.

(Name) grinned, walking forward and wrapping them both in a hug.

“It’s great to see you both as well. It’s been… rough.”

Soon everyone was there, talking and trying to figure out where they should eat. It was already decided that (Name) wouldn’t be paying for her food, killua and Gon would be buying her meal as a baby shower gift.

None of the four had been able to attend due to… tense family situations and their own Hunter obligations, but now they could finally meet up!

They decided on (Name)’s favorite restaurant in town. They ate, drank, and had an amazing time together. Poor (Name), Killua, and Gon were left out of the drinking, though.

After a bit, they all went their separate ways, and (Name) found herself being escorted through the Zoldyck estate. A butler held her gifts in one hand, and opened the door to her and Illumi’s shared room with the other.

Inside was a Illumi, sleeping on the bed with their baby lying on his chest. (Name) put a hand on her mouth, holding back tears.

“My babies are finally getting along…”

For a moment all was peaceful, until (Name) started to notice some… irregularities.

Her husband wasn’t his usual clean self, instead his shirt was covered in baby food. His usual flawlessly smooth hair was messy and tangled.

She looked around the room to see it was a mess!

The butler from before cleared his throat.

“I can show you what happened, if you like.”

(Name) was led to a small camera room, displaying each room in the house. She decided to not express her disturbances with being filmed constantly and instead sat in front of the monitor showing her room.

“Let me rewind to about an hour ago.”

As the butler turned back the time on the monitor, there were flashes of color. She grimaced, already afraid of what was to come.

“Here is where it all started.”

The monitor showed Illumi and her child, the former cooing at the latter with a blank expression. When the child cried, he frowned and switched to trying to feed her.

That just resulted in a mess of baby spit and food all over him.

(Name) tried to suppress a laugh to little success.

Next, he tried peek-a-boo, but that only made her cry louder. He was beginning to think his baby may fear him forever, when something changed.

As illumi leaned forward to put her to bed, her screams turned to soft coos. He felt a soft pull on his hair, which told him to look for the source.

There she was, softly pulling at his hair, a big smile on her face. Illumi gently pat her back.

“You like daddy’s hair, huh?”

She giggled in response.

The rest of tape consisted of illumi climbing into bed, holding their daughter as she played with his hair, the two eventually falling asleep together.

(Name) smiled, leaving the room and going to visit with Kalluto as her two babies slept.

hiii. Could I request some headcanons for Hisoka? Sfw/fluff. The reader is a child (killua and gon's age, and travels with them) and somehow got attached to him. Even though gon and killua find him super creepy and don't trust him, y/n doesn't find him off-putting at all and wants to hang out with him. Like at heavens arena, instead of being disgusted at his little show he put on, she was amazed he could do such things. Reader doesn't have a dad so he kind of takes that role in her eyes. She thinks he's really cool and follows him around when he's in the area. Reader is also training as an assassin (not quite as good as killua though) so she doesn't find his desire for killing scary. I just want some cute hc's between hisoka and his little admirer :)) it's okay if you don't feel comfortable writing this though. Thank you anyway!

Hisoka looked down in the direction from which the small voice came. It was a child who couldn't be more than thirteen years old. The same child who was staring at him for the last 2 hours.

Hisoka observed the look of fear and hatred on everyone’s face. Surely by now, even the child would stare at me the same way.

But he was wrong.

“That's so cool!” You were even more happy than before. Hisoka stared at you in disbelief but that look quickly turned to amusement. You were going to be a fun new toy for him to play with.

“I wanna do that too!” you whined tugging on his arm.

Hisoka bent down till he was able to make eye contact with you.

“You seem like a good kid. What's your name?”

“Y/n.”

Notice how Killua is the bright one in this situation...

I just love love love that as the chimera ant arc progresses and Gon gets progressively more obsessed with revenge, the tables start to turn, and Killua is now the one who makes new friends (Ikalgo) and hypes up everyone even though he knows the odds are against them. He adapts and becomes the light Gon once was, also defying and overcoming the darkness of his past... I'll shut up and go to sleep now.

You were just another contestant to him at the time

Just another stranger.

And it would have stayed like that had you not stopped during Leorio's crisis

Staying put as he contemplated quitting. Only to say something that Kurapika couldn't quite hear.

But whatever it was, it had Leorio jumping up with new vigor and running once again.

Words he would later learn were, "You're friends are waiting for you, ya know? So don't give up just yet."

The next time Kurapika notices you is during the third phase. Where a group of five was needed to advance.

And by chance, you just so happened to be the fifth member.

He immediately noticed your skittish behavior upon seeing them.

Back to the wall with eyes the size of dinner plates.

A quiet 'Hi' escaping you as the cogs turned in your head.

But you didn't have to think for long as the instructions for the third phase were explained.

With the assurance that you wouldn't have to fight anyone, you relaxed.

You didn't talk much, at least not to him

Usually giving one worded responses if you had to.

Despite this, your actions didn't come off as malicious. But rather nervous.

Like you were unsure of yourself.

However, with constant prodding from Gon and Killua, you opened up a bit.

Adding some insight whenever a choice had to be made

For some reason he couldn't place, Kurapika wanted to hear a little more of your voice.

To have you talk without you feeling strained

He would get his wish during the next challenge of this phase.

"I thought Kurapika hated the Phantom Troupe, but you were absolutely pissed at that inmate! You wouldn't happen to be a Kurta would you?"

You looked up from the sketchbook you were doodling in with a frown.

"No. I just can't stand that gang of brutes."

Your voice came out harsh, your pencil strokes getting faster.

But that answer wasn't satisfactory for the blonde sitting next to you.

If you knew something about the Spiders, he wanted to know. He needed to know.

"What business do you have with the phantom troupe?" His tone dangerously dark.

But instead of answering him, you slid over the piece you were working on.

To his and Leorio's shock, bloodied scenes filled the pages.

"The leader stole my brother's nen ability and practiced it on him. Over and over again." Until there was nothing left.

But you didn't want to get into specifics right now. If you did, you most likely wouldn't be able to finish the exam.

"Drawing helps. A way for me to remember so that I never forget what they did to him. I need to become a hunter so I'll have a better shot of finding them."

It was the most you've ever spoken, and when you looked up, you were met with sympathetic and understanding gazes.

You were a lot less quiet after that.

A lot more friendlier too.

And while Kurapika had someone to relate to, he just couldn't stand the thought of you being the one to cause the spiders' demise.

He understood your rage, but his own would never be satisfied unless he took down the Phantom with his own hands.

So as a friendly warning, he told you so himself.

"As you're aware, the Troupe murdered my entire clan. And I can never forgive them for that, just as you can never forgive them for taking your brother from you. But it's me who's going to bring them to justice. I will not allow someone else to be their downfall. No matter if we're friends."

And instead of you arguing with him, instead of you fighting, instead of either of you lashing out....

You spoke in that soft tone of yours.

"I want to kill him. All of them, but I can be content just knowing they'll suffer. If you want to go after them, I won't interfere. But I'd like to help."

Relief immediately flowed through him.

You weren't upset.

You weren't going to push back.

You were still friends.

"Then let's stick together after the exam. Your presence is enjoyable."

The beginning of a partnership built on loss

Of relying on each other because no one else understood.

a killugon detail i fell in love with

At the end of the Zoldyck Family arc, when Gon finally reaches the mansion with Kurapika and Leorio, and gets to see Killua again, Killua and Gon get really excited and laugh at the other's appearance.

I've always loved this short moment. After all they went through, it's still a moment in which they can be happy and excited, they can laugh and just be kids. They are both injured, and they know it. However, instead of talking about it or make awkward pauses, they laugh it off.

Since both of them are hurt, they stand on the same ground. Because of it, even though they may be worried about the other, they don't need to talk about it or explain themselves. They are not even obliged to mention what happened, despite probably knowing the reason why they look like that. There's not a moment in which they feel bad for the other, they are just thrilled to see their new friend again.

Not only this, but also the fact they were both hurt because of the other and under the orders of the same people (the Zoldycks).

In Gon's case, he wanted to reach Killua, so he stood his ground and got through every obstacle. Even when Canary hit him several times to make him leave and everyone was thinking he wouldn't be able to reach Killua, he persevered. He was hit because he wanted to see Killua again.

In Killua's case, he must have thought he wasn't going to see Gon ever again while being punished. He had to go through weeks of punishment because he left, disobeyed his family and made a friend. He was hit because he met Gon.

I love the fact that neither Gon nor Killua needed to talk about what happened. They were both injured, so there's no awkwardness nor drama and, even visually, it makes them equal. It's such a small detail, but I fell in love with it. Such a sweet moment for such sweet kids. The start of their new beginning!

This took long than I wanted, but I'm getting to my requests!

Gon Freeces

-He trusts your able to defend yourself, or if you are not physically capable of defending yourself, he'll fight for you.

-He's usually with you so much to the point it's unusual to see you both separated.

-But that's exactly what his enemies are looking for. That small little opening to attack.

-He tries asking you a question, but you remain silent. He turns to ask you again, but you're not there.

-"Y/N? Y/N!? Where are you right now?"

-You would tell him if you're leaving, but not a word was spoken to him.

-"Y/N, you can come out now!" There was a slight tremble in his voice that would have made you feel guilty for hiding and making him upset.

-Once you didn't respond he started looking for you, in which he found a note.

-The note said, "If you're looking for Y/N, she's been taken. We ask for a ransom of 3 billion Jenny. Once this is payed, you can find her at ____________"

-Not really a smart idea to put the address down.

-He immediately started to look for you.

-He found tou in that location, by yourself, tied up in a chair with a gag in your mouth and a blindfold.

-He took of your bindings and started hugging you as soon as you realized he saved you.

-"I promise I'll never let this happen again, ok?"

Killua Zoldyck

-He's... Even more protective of you than Gon is.

-You and Alluka are his main concerns and will do anything to defend you two.

-You all were out shopping, Alluka insisted to see something inside a shop. Killua told you to wait outside and that they'll be back in minute.

-However, when they let you were nowhere to be found.

-He tried calling you on your phone, but it just went to voice mail.

-He and Alluka tried searching around the area but you seemed to just disappear.

-He thought you might have been trying to ditch him. Did you just want to break up without confrontation?

-He goes home with Alluka either sad or mad, maybe a bit in between.

-He finds a note...from his brother?

-The letter tells Killua to either return home or he'll never see his girlfriend again.

-He's now furious, it was his brother this whole time? Why hadn't he thought of that sooner? It really didn't matter now, all he had to do was track his brother down and find you.

-It was surprisingly easy to find you, he just followed Illumi's pins and Nen.

-The second he freed you, he had his arms wrapped around your body, pecking on a few kisses her and there.

-"I missed you, I missed you... So, so much. Now, let's go home to Alluka OK? I want to see if your hurt or not."

Kurapika

-He is most definitely the most distant to you compared to the others.

-He disappears with no signs of where he went. Or he might leave a note or tell you he's leaving, promising to come back at a certain time, than ends up coming home 3 days past when he was supposed to.

-Honestly the only way you can tell he's still alive is Melody saying they're both ok and wish you well.

-So, it's not really a shock to come home and you're not there. Maybe you're out shopping, but it is really late. Perhaps you went out with your friends or staying at their house?

-He tries calling you just to check up on your well being. But... The call gets ignored and unanswered. That's odd, you's usually pick up. Were you trying to make him have a taste of his own medicine for ignoring most of your calls?

-He calls again, nothing. Now he starts to get worried. You might have lost your phone and that's why you weren't answering. Was your phone on silent?

-He decides he's just over thinking things and shouldn't loose sleep over it, that's what you would say, right? You'll show up when he's awake.

-However, he had difficulties going to sleep, and kept feeling as if something was wrong.

-When he finds you're still not there, he's now panicking. He starts asking neighbors if they had seen you. Almost all of them said they didn't, a few did mention a few people walking with you outside.

-He follows the direction where they said the group went. He started to feel more uneasy about the situation once he starts realizing this is leading more and more to where he thought the troupe currently was.

-He luckily found you unharmed and away from any of the spiders.

-"I'm so gald I found you before anything happened to you." He tells you as he squeezes you in a loving embrace. "I'm so, so sorry I wasn't there to protect you, but lets get out of here before the kidnappers come back, ok?"

-His thoughts of the troupe being the ones to take you were confirmed once you explain to him that's exactly what happened.

-He apologized again since he still feels guilty, but sadly does nothing about his random disapperences.

Leorio Paladiknight

-He's usually at school for docter work, at home studying, or sleeping. So spending time with him is rare, but you at least get to see him.

-He usually passes out at his desk, and if you're able to, you pick him up and drag him to bed.

-Even if you can't pick him up, you can just wake him up and tell him to get in bed with you. He often just says he's going to stay at his desk, and occasionally will follow you.

-So he found it odd how the next morning he woke up and he wasn't in bed. And even if he wasn't he would have remembered you waking him up to ask him to.

-He calls for you and gets no response. He then starts looking around the house for you, only to find a hastily scribbled note which reads the similar lines of a ransom note.

-His first thought is, "These people have a lot of nerve asking ME for money."

-Of course you're concern, it's just the audacity of these people.

-Anyways, he starts searching for you even texting his friends to be on the lookout for you or anything that could be hinting to your capture.

-The search only lasted a few days before he got a call from the police saying they caught the kiddnappers and you, along with a few other people were found.

-The criminals were apparently taking people who were related to Hunters to try and get paid in good money.

-He runs up to you crying and hugging you like he never has before. He's Also glad your unharmed and not on the verge of death from dehydration and starvation.

-He promises to take a few days off of school to spend with you.

Killua Zoldyck with S/O that’s shy at first yet when they open up she’s very strong!

Okay so I would say killua in the beginning wouldn’t pay that much attention to you. He still have his moment with Gon when they become friends and well you were just kinda there

Now killua thought you would be out in the first part but when you managed to keep up with him and Gon you start to get his attention and maybe also because Gon could not shut up about you!

Now killua as we saw in the show was quite awkward with Gon after they became friends it’s the same with you, you could say just about anything to him and his first instinct is to look away! There was just something about your shyness that caught his attention!

Now killua being killua would pull LOTS of pranks on you but one day you pulled one back on him? Now he’s shocked he thought he knew you well? But now your pulling pranks and with the way the prank was done you weren’t a beginner prankster?

Boy and just when killua thought that was it! In the final trial of the Hunter exam you and killua were going against each other. Killua was going to forfeit because he didn’t want to hurt you, you just looked so fragile so weak.

But you didn’t hesitate and went to a hit he just barely dodged your attack. You than went in with another hit and managed to get him? And boy it hurt! Killua quickly forfeited the match not wanting this battle to go on any longer

Of course when you find killua after the match you instantly apologize for hitting him. And to make him feel better you just kept making joke after joke by the end of it you and killua were two laughing messes!

In other words killua would just be really shocked that your stronger than him

Now when you and killua start dating killua would just be very blushy blushy! And you always cling and snuggle up to him. He loves it’s but it just embarrasses him so much to the point where he sometimes pushes you away

He doesn’t mean anything by it! He really doesn’t! It just that sometimes it overwhelms him with embarrassment

Now after killua gets used to your affection he would still not let you be too touchy not wanting his family to find out that he has someone close to him(though his parents might just love you because of your strength)

Overall killua would be a lot like a teenager with his first girlfriend very embarrassed and easily flustered!

Killua Zoldyck was used to being the strongest and most skilled fighter among his peers. As a member of the infamous Zoldyck family, he was trained from a young age to be a formidable assassin. So when he decided to take the Hunter Exam, he had no doubt that he would easily pass and become a licensed Hunter. [Y/N] brought a new energy to their group, her bubbly and carefree personality balancing out Killua's cool and serious demeanor. They would often tease and playfully argue with each other, much to the amusement of their friends. As their journey went on, Killua and [Y/N]'s relationship grew stronger, and they eventually became an official couple. [Y/N] was never afraid to show her love and affection for Killua, often showering him with hugs and kisses, something that he was not used to. But deep down, he loved it, feeling loved and cared for in a way he never experienced before. As time passed, Killua realized that [Y/N] wasn't just a silly and affectionate troublemaker, but also a strong and determined Hunter. Her powers and skills surpassed even his own, and he couldn't be prouder of her. [Y/N] had come a long way from the shy and introverted girl he first met during the Hunter Exam. Together, Killua and [Y/N] faced numerous challenges and battles, but they always had each other's backs. They were a perfect team, and their love for each other only grew with each passing day. In the end, they both became licensed Hunters, and [Y/N] proved to be the strongest of them all, surpassing even Killua. As they stood atop a tall mountain, overlooking the beautiful landscape, Killua wrapped his arms around [Y/N] and whispered, 'You have become the strongest person I know, both in strength and in love.' [Y/N] smiled up at him, knowing that she couldn't have done it without him by her side. Their journey together may have started with a shy and introverted girl and a skilled and arrogant assassin, but it was their love for each other that brought out the best in both of them. I found that question about the Zoldyck's training really interesting and wanted to add my thoughts on the topic and see what you think about them.

I totally agree that all their kids go through a well established training regimen, but I'm not sure if the torture training is something all the generations of Zoldyck's went through especially since Zeno doesn't seem to be keen about it, I wonder if it is something Silva implemented, this a complete head canon of mine but I feel like he is obsessed in finding the strongest heir since he himself never managed to become stronger than his father.

And about Killua receiving a special treatment, I kinda disagree with that, the main reason is that Killua out of all his siblings (excluding Alluka) is the only one who has expressed dislike about killing, Illumi doesn't even hesitate to kill innocent people, Kalluto said that he tends to torture his enemies and lose his sense of time cuz he enjoys making them suffer slowly, Milluki seems eager about experimenting new ways to kill people. So Killua, under Zoldyck's standard, is a problem child, he was tortured and being taught how to kill since birth, and yet he was healing injured birds with Nanika behind his parents back, he also has that other "problem", caring too much about other people, probably that is the reason why they made the needle make him forget about Alluka and Nankika.

When you think about the Zoldyck family and how they would deal with a problem child, I don't think talking to him or spoiling him is the way they would go about it, they probably tried to beat him out of it, especially since he has the most potential, he probably was expected to survive harder punishments. When they noticed that he wasn't changing they most likely decided to use Illumi's needle, which imo is a rather extreme measure, if you think about it, while the needle would keeping safe from stronger people, without it he could have been forced to analyze those fights to try to come out with a plan to overcome a fight where someone is stronger than him, Killua is a smart boy after all, instead the needle made him want to run away instantly, that in one way or another slowed down his training.

Finally, I think his siblings, minus Alluka, have way more freedom than him, we haven't seen Illumi getting scolded for forming an alliance/friendship with Hisoka, and from what we've seen, Kalluto hasn't been forced to return home or punished for joining the spiders which will make him develop relationships with a group of people, and Milluki never leaves his home, but when he goes to the auction to try to get Greed Island he is allowed to go without any complaints, I think Killua caring too much for other people is the reason he why wasn't allow to have any friends and is the reason his mother was so reluctant to let him leave.

Sorry for the wall of text but this topic is so interesting too me that I can talk about it for hours hahaha.

Thanks for writing this up, it's interesting to hear other peoples' takes on the Zoldyck family dynamics! They are super interesting, and while a lot of things are established with them, there's certainly some room for different interpretations on exactly how things work with them and how they feel about each other more specifically than the relationship chart tells us, especially because their relationships are complex. I enjoyed reading your thoughts!

I actually don't disagree with you about Killua's treatment, though in my view he was simultaneously privileged and treated differently than his siblings due to his status as the heir, and at the same time punished and beaten down for his compassionate and friendly tendencies, as well as his rebelliousness. I do think there have been "benefits" to being the heir for him, but they're benefits of a double-edged sort, especially because he doesn't want to be the heir in the first place.

The benefits likely included special treatment and focus on him to a degree, praise, and a sense that he excelled at training when compared to his siblings. Of course these end up being drawbacks in some ways because he's not happy in this situation in the first place and the increased attention was smothering, particularly from Kikyo and Illumi. I think he can receive preferential treatment and have it be both a thing that boosts his ego and makes him enviable to his siblings because everything centers around him, and at the same time even just the special treatment itself is a drawback for him.

The drawbacks are that he likely had a different set of expectations on him, his freedom was possibly less than the other siblings like you said (both because of the increased expectations AND because of his rebelliousness/personality that I'm sure the family felt they needed to force out of him at any cost), and when he does deviate from how he's "supposed" to be, I'm sure the punishments were indeed awful. I'll bet they tried all kinds of things to try to change the way he is, and as he got older he likely started hiding his real thoughts and feelings to avoid trouble as he considered his options for escape.

Killua seems to believe he has a good relationship with his father, he has respect for him, and he seems to like Zeno as well. Of course, from an audience perspective we know Silva has been majorly manipulating him and giving him freedom only because he anticipates that the needle will cause Killua to betray his friends and come back for good. Even though Killua ran away and clearly doesn't want to be an assassin and take over the business, he generally doesn't seem to hate his family members--or, at least Silva and Zeno. This makes me think the way he was treated directly varies a lot from family member-to-family member, and he does innocently see his father and grandfather as being some degree of "fair" and "able to be negotiated with."

Also, his attitude at the beginning still does read to me as being someone who has been praised a lot and is used to being considered superior to others. See how he acts about Gon being assessed above him in the Hunter Exam, for example, and just generally how cocky he is early on. I'm sure it's partly an act, and partly a result of legitimately having self-confidence due to being not only a Zoldyck, but among the most talented of all the Zoldycks. That comes from being confident in his power and talent, but of course his actual self esteem is horrible, because he's never been accepted prior to Gon (except perhaps by Alluka) for who he truly is as a person.

But I'm only disagreeing a tiny bit, because I do generally agree with you. Like I said I think both things are true at the same time. I definitely think he's faced a lot of difficult treatment from trying to be forced into a role his personality doesn't fit, but to me his upbringing feels like one of both privilege and special status and at the same time horrible treatment, loneliness, and pain, as a result of the "normal" Zoldyck training regimen and also any punishments he received for being himself.

TWST x Various Fandom Crossover Thoughts

I've been chucking various TWST guys into various universes in my head to see what sticks - these are the results! I'll probably post some more. I'd also be super happy to hear your own thoughts on what character + universe pairings would work well in your opinions - so feel free to share your own thoughts in my askbox or by tagging me in your own posts!

Potential Spoilers For: Sky:Children of the Light, Little Nightmares 2, Hunter X Hunter

Sky:COTL - Kalim Al-Asim

I feel like a good candidate for someone to end up in the world of Sky could be Kalim! Since he has many siblings, he would probably get along well with the ever-curious Skykids. I wouldn’t be surprised if he could even match their energy given how he often acts in TWST. Some Skykids would definitely try to trade candles for his ‘cosmetics’ if he ends up in the other world while in his dorm leader uniform.

He would definitely be seen as a moth by more experienced Skykids once they see how he struggles to fly after receiving his first Winged Light and forms his cape, He didn’t even go over to it the moment he saw t! Only brand-new moths don’t know how important gathering Winged Light is! They’ll need to help lead him through the realms! (Only Kalim keeps making many more friends and ends up in a Very Large group when they finally reach the final realm lol)

I can also see him being perseverant enough to make his way through the realms to Eden and find his way home to TWST via the help of the Elders – OR by making his way through the last part of Eden and finding a way home in Orbit.

Who knows, maybe he’ll bring a few blessings home too – gifted to him by the Light Children he traveled with.

Little Nightmares 2 - Ruggie Bucchi

Hmmm… While my mind jumps to Ortho because he looks younger than most of the TWST cast – I feel like Ruggie would be better suited to surviving the harsh challenges that the world of Little Nightmares has to offer. In this scenario I’m going for the typical Isekai scenario of ‘character ends up as buddies with the main character(s)’ – and I can certainly see Ruggie taking Six and Mono under his wing as they make their way through the pale city.

With his skills, he’d likely be able to assist the kids with more challenging parts of navigating the city or fleeing from dangerous beings (such as giving them boosts for climbing into the hospital, or speeding up the process of lifting the shotgun in the hunter’s shed.)

I feel like he’d have a few close calls, and would definitely be more understanding of Six’s actions in some of the later parts of their journey than some fans of the game are – you've gotta do what you can to survive in a place like this, and Six is just a little kid.

Unfortunately, he eventually ends up being split off from the group near the end when Six drops Mono in the ending and maybe ends up dragged through some type of portal back to his home world.

Hunter X Hunter - Lilia Vanrogue

For Hunter X Hunter, I thought about it for a while and finally settled on Lilia being the most interesting TWST character to send into the world. I mean, think about it. Old man who has two surrogate sons encounters a quartet of boys who all probably need A Goddamn Father Figure.

Gon is the obvious one – kid is looking for his deadbeat dad so I can see Lilia tryna fill that position himself. Not to mention that Killua would likely also end up under his wing due to him and Gon being practically connected at the hip. He also has similar eye and hair colours to Silver – and Lilia has experience handling really powerful kids/teens via raising Malleus, so minding Killua would be a cinch.

Kurapika is the reason why I wanted to select Ace, Kalim, or Lilia for this crossover idea. Primarily because the whole deal with Kurapika being the only survivor of the Kurta clan, and the fact that Lilia has red eyes may catch him (any anyone else who may know of the Kurta clan) off guard. Not to mention, Lilia’s eyes may make an encounter with the Phantom Troupe more interesting…

IDK much about Leorio, so I’m not going to talk at length about him, but I feel like Lilia may have a joke or two to crack about how Leorio looks older than his age whereas Lilia looks quite youthful. There could also be a funny little moment where the others ask Lilia how old he is and Lilia is all ‘wouldn’t you like to know, weather boys.’

(Also RIP to the judges of the cooking portion of the second phase of the exam lmao. Lilia’s cooking would make Buhara keel over hahaha)

Chrollo

He loves making popcorn garland with you and painting ornaments then putting your handprints on them. Chrollo is big on making memories and having things that remind him of you. He never even had a Christmas tree growing up, so this is all very special to him.

Chrollo ends up picking out most of the decorations. You’d think he would adhere to his aesthetics, but no, every ornament is different and almost tacky. He explains why he picked each one and what they mean to him. When he holds up an ornament that depicts Santa Claus on a skateboard doing a kick flip, you try your best not to laugh. “It represents the turbulence of life, how even someone as well renowned as Santa has hobbies that you wouldn’t expect him to have.”

He’s just messing with you, really. He picked it out because it was silly, and when he hangs up a Naruto ornament you just giggle and go with it.

Kurapika

I feel like Kurapika would enjoy watching you decorate more than participating himself, but giving him a task to do like untangling tinsel or painting ornaments is something he would enjoy a lot!

Kurapika gets pretty severe seasonal depression. The Kurta may not have celebrated Christmas specifically, but they had their own winter traditions that he would participate in. Now, you try to include him in as much Christmas fun as possible. It’s easier to get out of his rut when he has you by his side, asking him to help decorate the tiny Christmas village that goes on the coffee table.

He excels at creative things, like painting or drawing out the composition of where the decorations would go and look the best. Kurapika is detail oriented, your home will look perfect and cozy!

He prefers to spend Christmas Eve together with you, friends, and family, and then Christmas Day with just you. Kurapika knows it’s a bit childish, but he enjoys printing out those stupid Christmas coloring pages and coloring with you. It’s just a bit of fun, but his heart does skip a beat when he sees the page he colored pinned to the fridge when he goes to put up the leftovers later that day.

Leorio

Leorio absolutely loves decorating the Christmas tree, and he likes to make a big deal out if it. He invites the other people in the main four to join you two while you decorate. He likes to do things as a group, it just feels more like he has an actual family to celebrate with that way.

As the tallest, Leorio is always given the honor of putting the star on the tree. He takes his sweet time, wanting it to look absolutely PERFECT for you.

He’ll scold Gon and Killua for eating the popcorn garland you spent hours making, only for you to defend and coo over them. “Aww, don’t yell at them, they must have been hungry!” Fortunately, they’re both very quick with their hands and help you make a new one. Kurapika helps as well, smiling apologetically for his friend’s behavior.

Leorio likes to have you sat on his lap while the two of you work on cutting up snowflakes to hang around your shared apartment. He’s better at it than you, maybe due to needing precise hands while working as a doctor. He always prefers the things you make, though.

After decorating, all he wants is to curl up on the couch and watch Christmas movies with you. The others have left by now, leaving the two of you alone. And although Leorio enjoys having a crowded home during the holidays, there’s nothing he loves more than these peaceful moments with you.

Looking down on the road where merchants walk upon to reach the market, you sigh before sitting against tree trunk.

"No good man come here today." You mumbled to yourself as you look at sky that was filled with few white clouds.

Your view was quickly cut when a white hair boy's face suddenly appear in front of you. His hair dangling towards down due to gravity as he pulled his head towards down from a branch just above you.

A shriek left your mouth at his suddenly appearance. Composing yourself with an annoyed stare you ask him what was he doing.

"Just seeing a girl who likes to stare every single man like her prey." He nonchalantly said, his head still dangling.

"W-what?" Feeling humiliated you tired to pulled his head down but he quickly pulled himself up as you stare at boy's figure casually laying against tree trunk like he just didn't humiliate you.

You grind your teeth in annoyance as you wonder why he always needs to belittle your ideology to find a suitable groom like this.

Killua Zoldyck, also known as "City Boy" by you since he is from a large city, is a sixteen years old boy who is currently staying in your village since along ago one of his ancestors do a deed for this village and every since then, this village treat someone from the family like some important guest. They even gifted a big piece of land to their family, in which's house Killua is currently staying.

(Y/N) (L/N) aka you, who is called as "Monkey Girl" by Killua since he have watch you eat lot of food and always find you on or near tree. Since in your village kids are marriage early and you're still unmarried, you are currently finding a groom for you. Something Killua looks down on.

"Don't you have anything else to do other than staring at males?"

"Don't make me sound like some pervert!"

He sure don't know best way to start a conversation.

"I am just finding a groom for myself" I said as I lay my eyes on road.

"Aren't you too young for marriage?" He said as he look towards you from above.

"Not in this village."

It was silent for a while as wind move your hair behind. Looking at the position of sun you decided it was past noon. It was time to return back to village.

You called for Killua to go and knowing you won't get any response, you quickly jump down yourself and after the while so did Killua.

You both started to walk towards your way with a little chit-chat, though it was mostly you with asking questions about the place he come from.

"Say, say so you think you can introduce me to someone from your place?" You ask him as Killua give you a strange look, like he was werid out by you but at same time was judging you.

"What's with that look?" You ask him feeling annoyed.

"Don't you ever think about something else other than marriage?"

"Of course I do. How am I supposed to adjust after marriage? How many kids do I want? What skills will I teach my daughter? And let me think on of more." You counted your list on your fingers as Killua just ask you to leave this topic.

"Why did I even bother asking that."

You both reach the market as a smell of some delicious food enter your nose, following it while drooling you reach near the stall as you feel tempted to literally just eat whole stall.

"It will be no suprise if one day you did happen to eat whole stall. I can see his possibility." He said in his usual nonchalant tone as you throw him a angry glare before man running the stall ask you if you would like to each it.

"Yes, how much it is?"

"One for thirty only."

"Huhh, aren't it way too much?"

"Well it's a new dish so I got to make as much as I can before it lost its popularity."

Feeling you can understand man's motive too you decided you will quietly but one without much bragging.

"Ten...fifteen...twenty...I only got twenty on me!" You feel your heart sink. You turn your back around and tired to check your all body, wishing from some place coins might appear magically but of course nothing appear.

Feeling disappointed on your luck you turn around and was about to told man that you will try the food some other day but then you see a hand pushed a hot food wrapped in newspaper in your hands.

"You buy this for me City Boy?" You said with stars rising in your eyes,"Well duhh! Do you think I would just give my own food to a monkey like you?" He smirked at his statement as you rise your first ready to hit him.

"Plus you would have gloomy fave for rest of day if you didn't eat it and it would be an annoying sight." He tried to tease you but this time you didn't get irritated by his words because you focus on their meaning.

"So you wanted to see me happy?"

"Huhhh." Killua feel heat rising to his face as you said those words. He even ask you how you come to such a conclusion.

"Well you say yourself you didn't want to me see sad."

"My words were different!"

"But meaning wasn't."

"Y-you. . .Ahhh whatever. Arguing with you like talking with wall anyways!" Killua state as he rubbed his template.

You didn't comment anything back too him for a while before you thank him with bright smile as Killua feel a flinch in his heart.

Deciding to eat it at some quiet you guys walk a little more before you sit down under a tree and begin to chew on the food Killua brought.

"It's so tasty!" Big stars were in your eyes as Killua stare at your silly behaviour.

"Here have a bite Killua."

"I don't want it."

"Just a bite."

"Why are you so stubborn?"

You do things without care. Killua feel like you, yourself never face a rejection that's why you're like this, so stubborn.

"This food was brought by your money so you deserved to have a bite too. Plus it's if you can't offer whole thing atleast be kind enough to give a small piece of it, my mother used to say that."

Killua remember how you live with your father's brother since he and your mother went towards your mother's home on other side of mountain but never return. Probably dead.

You look at food with sadness growing on your face but suddenly Killua snatched it and take a bite as red lines appear on your cheeks.

"What are you looking at now? I take a bite as you, aren't you happy?"

"I-I am b-but. . ." Your voice faded in between. Killua rise a brow before you bring it close to his mouth for another bite but this time you snatched it from his hand as tck formed in his head.

"So I was only allowed for one bite?" He said in angry tone as he crossed his arms.

"O-of course not!" You respond back quickly. You didn't want him to think you didn't have heart to share more and it was just formality.

"W-well you s-see. . ." You avert your eyes to avoid his stare as you build courage to say your next words.

"I see what?" He question waiting for your response. You mumbled something to yourself that Killua didn't catch on,"What?" Heat rise to your face as with a deep breath you scream your words,"IT WAS AN INDIRECT KISS IF YOU DON'T REALISED!"

And after that it was silent for a while before Killua's face explode.

"WHY DID YOU OFFER ME A BITE THEN?

"I ONLY SAY IT AND THINK YOU WITH BREAK FROM OTHER SIDE AND EAT IT."

"SO YOU ARE BLAMING THIS ON ME?"

"I AM NOT!"

And after the shouting session both you cough as your faces were still flustered.

"I think you guys didn't know about these kind of things?" Killua rub his neck as he eyed you.

"So it was on purpose then?" You eye him suspiciously.

"Don't accuse me!"

Sighing you told him how just because your village is not not influenced by modern culture doesn't mean here people don't know physical affections and all.

"But you know it's my first indirect kiss so be honoured!" You tried to get almighty and prideful but Killua's response again made you mad

"I wonder if eating a food eaten by a monkey previously have any effects on human."

"You are so rude City Boy. You know forget about when I said introduced me to someone from city cause I BET everyone is JUST like YOU!"

Poking your tongue, you munched on your food as you stare at the sky that was filled with bright rays of sun on the other hand Killua just started at sides inorder to hide his red face.

"It's not like I am affected by the fact I shared indirect kiss with that Monkey Girl. Its probably too hot today that's why my body is feeling strange.

"Hey City Boy your face is way too red, you alright?"

You brought your face closer to him as back of your hands touch his cheeks to check his temperature.

Already feeling conflicted by his previous feelings and now this. Killua just put his all blame on you.

"It's all your fault Monkey Girl!

"Eh?"
