Hello! I’m here to feed your brainrot! I read about that Failed Revolution AU and BOY what a concept! It’s dark and full of potential, the best combo! And my hot take: NSR will fall apart if people in it hate each other like that. Or this is going to end in another revolution by third parties. In a way B2J succeeded in the revolution….. (okay this is strange) Sorry if this isn’t your interpretation! Have a nice day/evening!

NSR is a total shit show right now and is going to tear itself apart if there is no outside intervention to show them what they are doing to each other is wrong.

A stupid idea I had was this dumb out of dimension magic that put 5 AUs together (OG, Failed Revolution, Swap, Fantasy Beasts, and Magic), and these AUs would end up helping each fix the problems in their worlds (mainly Failed Revolution). This was just a funny little thing I was thinking of to have an excuse to see different versions of characters react to themselves from different AUs (the other versions of Neon J hate Failed Revolution J, and so many of the other AUs feel so bad for Failed Revolution 1010 allowing them to grow spines).

Anyway, in universe of the AU without dumb little author magic to mess things up lol, I would say that NSR is not fixable. Neon J and DJSS are working together on a new contract that will strip NSR ownership of 1010 and allow Neon J, 1010, and DJSS to quit NSR once and for all. (Though if it doesn't work then Neon and 1010 are stuck in another couple years of contract work until it does work and I am almost positive DJ is going to either outright quit or get fired for his pessimistic and uncaring behavior after the Failed Revolution)

Eve would end up isolating herself even more, with her art becoming even more unrelatable to a lot of people. Probably to the point that she starts doing drastic displays of art that ends up in someone getting hurt (either a worker or a viewer while a show is going on) and her reputation starts to crumble. Either that or her popularity would just start to decline, causing her to be demoted in the ranks of NSR, with either Neon or Mama taking her place depending on who Tatiana would basically force into the spot. If it's Neon then Eve would be livid, if it's Mama then Yinu just got a whole lot more pressure put onto her.

Speaking of Yinu, her music starts to lack any passion to it. Also causing her popularity to dip, forcing Mama to put more pressure onto Yinu and change things up. Yinu will now be playing on electronic keyboards with even more EDM to her genre, a lot less classical music will be played in Natura. At first this would boost the ratings, especially for people who started to think classical was getting old, but in the end it would all start to sound the same and not be giving nearly enough energy output.

I would say that Yinu keeps playing, even if it is not her best, she is still seen as an amazing artist allowing her to keep her job. And she does stay with NSR for as long as the company continues to work just so that she can provide for her family since Mama will not be able to work most jobs anymore because of her injury. So yeah, Yinu feels stuck in NSR even as a child because she knows they might not be able to survive for long if she quits.

The Sayu Crew probably stay with NSR because of similar reasons for Yinu. It is all they know and what keeps their families from being poor (in this AU the Crew still lives with their respective families instead of alone with each other like I have in the OG). They would definitely start being more open about who they are, and stop making Sayu seem "real" to the audience. More behind the scene looks, more Sayu referencing her creators, things that won't make people think Sayu is a robot or AI. In the end Sayu and the Crew probably end up being the most popular Megastar after a few years.

But even so, with all this NSR is losing power. Both in the political sense and the energy sense. Less music is being made, less passion is being output, blackouts start to roll more and more, leading people to start questioning EDM and NSR, wondering if rock really could have saved the city.

I don't think another revolution would occur, I can hardly see any ONE genre getting strong enough to fight NSR and if multiple genres started trying to work together I feel like Tatiana/NSR would snuff them out. What I can see happening is another city/town near by start to make their own energy company that can output more energy than NSR because it uses multiple genres along with passionate artists.

This company would probably try to poach some of the Megastars from NSR (most likely Yinu and Sayu) and slowly make NSR go under if nothing changes.

Honestly, I do not see NSR being able to change for the better without outside help, and no outside help is coming because of the drastic measures put in place.

The only other option I can see is another band stepping in to try and take B2J's role and finish what was started. Which I could see Ex-Jay making a comeback (or even another band that I have been thinking of making, which are friends with Ex-Jay). However, I don't see the love for rock that a lot of citizens openly had being there to support whichever group tries to re-take on NSR. Citizens would be scared to openly support another Rock Revolution.

And even then, if a new revolution takes place, it is no longer about the music or the passion behind art. It would truly take on the role of "for the people" that May and Zuke sometimes forgot they were fighting for. It would be for new freedom and expression of oneself and less for playing rock or any other kind of genre.

But yeah, long story short, NSR is not going to survive unless someone is able to smack Tatiana in the back of the head and wake her up from her hatred of Rock. And honestly I feel like it HAD to be Mayday who did it. Her being a big Goolings fan seems like an integral part to Tatiana's reawakening of rock (that and you know, Kliff being there).

Possibly Cyril (Ex-Jay vocalist) could be the new awakening for her because (surprise) he is her half nephew. The two could have an epic battle of Rock vs EDM with both having time powers on their side.

Oh, now I am having so many ideas of a Re-Revolution with Ex-Jay coming to the rescue! Which would be different of an AU where Ex-Jay were the ones to START the Rock Revolution. There's so much potential here, I love it!

Oh wait. No. Nevermind, I just remembered a sad fact. The reason Purple was destroyed by Tatiana was because she was initially going to destroy Blue, but Purple got in the way to protect Blue. And Blue was going to be punished because he assaulted Ex-Jay, almost breaking Cyril's neck and making it so he can't sing anymore, leading to Ex-Jay breaking up.

So Ex-Jay would not be together for a Re-Revolution, at least, not without some help getting Cyril some cybernetics to fix his neck/voice. I can see Neon actually reaching out after the Failed Revolution and trying to make amends with Cyril and Ex-Jay in the hopes they will finish what B2J have done! It would be an easy way out for Neon J and 1010 to leave NSR if Ex-Jay could literally just take it over.

Yes, I like this idea. It's an inside job now! Perhaps Kliff would catch wind of this and try to get Ex-Jay to trust him enough so he could meet with Neon J and hopefully Tatiana again. West, being old friends with some of the Ex-Jay members, would also be willing to help out and take revenge on NSR.

Mmmm, yes. Loving this. I wish I could write more/better. It would be so much easier and quicker getting these ideas out than trying to draw them. Also, THANK YOU for letting me ramble about this. I actually haven't thought too much about how this AU would play out WITHOUT that silly multiple AU mash-up happening before, so this has taken a turn I never even expected!

There’s a couple new ones that I’m really vibing with at the moment! They’re all still in the planning stages so I don’t have everything figured out, but I’ll explain what I do have.

I have another No Straight Roads OC who’s yet unnamed. They’re a ‘Definitely Normal Human Guy’ (gender neutral). Blonde with a really thin, almost unnaturally lanky build (if you look at Mr Bloom from DC Comics, that’s similar to what I’m going for), and they’re never seen with their eyes uncovered. He’s another NSR boss that you can fight, and he actually becomes more angelic and insect-like as the fight goes on and you make him more emotional. By the end they’re basically a writhing mass of wings, eyes, and exoskeleton. They’re really relying on their NSR gig to keep themselves afloat, and they’re actually a secret boyband fan (artists like 1010 and Q-pid make them squeal :3 ). I actually have a voice claim for this OC and it’s Rhys Darby.

I also have a joke OC I’ve gotten attached to, designed for Friday Night Funkin lol. He’s an unironic ‘sparkle dog’ furry. As you fight him it turns out that he’s not wearing a suit, he’s actually a real anthro canine, and then he turns into a full blown cerberus. It’s a little goofy but I’m 100% doing it for fun and I think it’s really funny. I have this idea that his extra heads in his cerberus form look like recoloured heads taken from other fursuits, and they’re free-floating where they would be if they were attached to the Sparkle Dog’s body.

Finally, even though I haven’t finished all of Subnautica’s story yet, I caved and made an OC. This one doesn’t have a gender figured out yet but their name is Maggot and they work on a rescue crew. Buzzcut, septum piercing, bucket hat. Chill guy but SUPER into conspiracy theories, they’ll start bringing out the corkboard and coloured string if you ask about it. Their coworkers have not had a day of peace since they found out Maggot would hypothetically romance a big scary monster.

What games do you enjoy?

Ah heck I never answered this did I. I have kind of a varied taste tbh and it’s whatever catches my interest.

Game series I’ve kept up with are:

Rusty Lake, I’ve played every one of them and I’m anxiously awaiting the next. Most of them I’ve replayed at least once. I love them for being surreal spooky and for their weird puzzles.

Professor Layton, I’ve played all but vs Ace Attorney (which I own, but I lost it :() and Mystery Journey, which I also own but simply haven’t started yet. I’ve watched The Eternal Diva as well but idk where to get ahold of any manga, and I don’t want to watch the anime until I’ve played Mystery Journey. I love those for the huge variety of puzzles (I try to complete the puzzle index + mini games and daily downloads in every game, although there’s a few that still have me stumped) and for the wonderful stories and characters.

And Pokemon, I’ve completed the story for Diamond and X, and got about halfway through Platinum and Black. I had some of the older games too but I never got far. And I have several of the spin-off games, some of my faves are the little adventure and care ones likes Pokepark and Pokemon Channel actually, or at least they were when I was younger, as lame as that may sound lol.

I love Animal Crossing a lot too, and New Horizons is the only one I don’t have. But it’s one of those games I play a lot for like a week and then drop it for like a year.

And recently I’ve been working on Hollow Knight and in Ori and the Will of the Wisps, they have similar gameplay styles. I really like the art, music, and characters! I can play those for hours, there’s a lot to explore and they can be pretty challenging!

And Minecraft is a huge one for me, I can play it all day. I mostly like exploring and building houses, and taming every animal I find.

And plenty of others too, NSR and AHIT are big fandoms for me but I havent actually played the games yet - but after falling in love with the characters and stories I got the games and want to play them soon! The TLDR is I like games with puzzles, adventure, great art and music, and wonderful lovable stories and characters.

Hi, I was looking to either rent a car for a day or borrow my sisters, now ive found a site on tempcover willing to insure me for something like 30 - 40 odd quid but the trouble is it said something about excess being in & around the 400 - 500 mark.... I have pectus excavatum and I live in Marshalltown Iowa. I want to get a cosmetic procedure done called the nuss procedure. Most insurance companies say they cover this surgery.
