What’s the (agent 24 I assume) fic idea you came up with? It looks very cool I’m intrigued
OHOHO IM GLAD YOU ASKED >:3
so basically, eight died during the events of octo expansion, and three can't remember why but she is absolutely not okay. but three's also lost a lot of her memories from what happened in the metro, so she's got like a vague idea of the love of her life being ripped from her and she's going a little crazy
then eight appears in her room as a ghost and asks for her help and three's like. fuck that man you're not real. but eventually comes around and decides to help her. eight's deal is that she's a ghost/soul thing (it's a very messy concept that doesn't make a lot of sense but pretend it does) but she lost a lot of her memories both when she ended up in the metro and when she died. but if she can get her memories back and find her body, she'll be able to come back to life. so they go and explore the metro, fighting sanitized octos, finding eight's mem cakes and being really gay! (also since eight's a ghost she and three can't touch each other and the mutual pining is STRONG) but also eight seems to be hiding a lot of details, like the exact nature of her death and the gaps in three's memory...
i've got a couple chapters written already and i plan on posting it when i'm done (tho i've considered posting it as i write so ppl can watch me descend into madness in real time)

i really REALLY appreciated the writing for sami and jey's characters in this episode - putting aside the fact that sami should be blaming cody for the switch instead of jey (we just have to accept that cody is booked as an untouchable good boy rn), i loved seeing him be open and honest with how he felt, even though there's a lot of conflicting emotions and negative thought processes going on in his head - the things he said weren't pretty, there was resentment, loneliness and a hint of envy, but all of it is understandable and justified.
the fact that characters can show those shades of grey is wonderful to me - sami is not wrong for feeling the way he does, but he's also not being fair in his reasoning - a fact he's clearly aware of and frustrated by but can't avoid at the moment since the sudden split from kevin is extremely recent and he needs time to find a new path.
he's literally in the same situation jey was a couple of weeks ago - just got separated from his long time brother/tag partner and just like sami always made sure to be there for him, jey is seen insisting on communicating openly with sami and being supportive (playing the reverse of their usual roles together). you could tell from his face that he was hurt by what sami told him (the acting overall is top tier with these two as always) and he's right to be - that's the thing, neither of them is in the wrong here, but instead of getting angry or prying further, jey reassures sami he's there for him and gives him space.
meanwhile, instead of letting things end on a sour note as these segments often do in wwe, sami shows emotional maturity and runs after jey to squash the issue right there and then, instead of being prideful or letting things drag on - perfectly in character for babyface sami zayn.
just chef's kisses all around 🤌💚

Crawls in here, body completely covered in soot and ashes and wounds of the battlefield with a single puff of smoke—-
Hey all! You may or may not have noticed that I haven't been able to write that much over here for a while now, especially with threads and asks.
Unfortunately, that may be the case for a couple more months since a) I'm still in America, b) my dad is currently in a nursing home, and c) some very fun legalities and possible bills that I have to deal with. I can't exactly say precisely what's happened over here ever since I came to the U.S. ( mostly because it would take up way too much of the length of this post ), but it's definitely sucked up a huge portion of my time, energy, and sanity.
Please know that if ever I wasn't able to respond to one of our threads or an ask you sent in, it's not you at all! I'm just a lot more tired than usual due to my current situation.
So honestly? My activity here is going to still be sporadic. You can always reach out to me via Discord if you want to talk still though! I'm technically also a little low energy over there too, but it's a bit better than here at the moment.
That said, I hope all of you have a good day!

Part of me genuinely wants to go back to the non-icon border icons, but part of me is also used to the little bit of aesthetic it adds by now. But also, forever unhappy with them, you know? Forever to and fro.
Any way, to business: while this isn't happening right this day, my activity will fluctuate towards the end of the month. In brief, I'm temporarily moving in with some relatives who have a fair bit of space to spare, as to take more time to prepare and find the place that I'd like to settle into in a much more definite manner. I've had to rush the last two times I moved (which involved a move abroad), so now I'd like to be smart, and take more time than I was given, and I was offered the perfect 'in between' to do that at my own pace. I anticipate being able to hook up my PC just fine once there, so once settled, I see myself as being around often enough for you guys to not see much of a difference. I'll likely reblog this when the time has come, but until then, know that any silence is likely due to stress and/or move prep!

SYDNEY O'HARA - TCM GAME ORIGINAL CHARACTER
"I'm gonna kill that motherfucker for what he did to me, along with the rest of his nutjob family."
Here I present an oc I will probably never use but I wanted to share the character card I made for her because she is pretty neat. Tough as nails, Sydney has seen the world, but nothing prepares her for the nightmare in the Slaughter household. After a one night stand-gone sour with Johnny, she becomes a victim to the family. Two weeks before the capture and death of Maria, Sydney powers through the survivours guilt to strategise an escape. When the chaos of the new-found victims erupts, Sydney takes her chance and does everything in her power to clear the path to survival -- seeking revenge while doing so.
ATTRIBUTES
-- TOUGHNESS 30. surviving as long as she should have, sydney is tough as nails. battling through her pain and scars, she can take a few hits while in the heat of battle.
-- ENDURANCE 15. unfortunately smoking since the age of twelve doesn't have a good affect on the lungs. sydney works best in short outbursts, but doesn't have the stamina to go long distance.
-- STRENGTH 25. fuelled by pure adrenaline and rage, sydney's strength is surprising considering her tortured condition. but when you mess with the bull, you get the horns.
-- PROFICIENCY 15. sydney is use to bulldozing her way through situations and doesn't have the patience to unlock objectives. protecting the victims who have the smarts for these things will help her in the long run.
-- STEALTH 45. she is known to be sneaky when she needs to be. with her experience sneaking backstage at concerts, onto tour buses, squatting when sleeping gets tough; sydney knows how to slip by unnoticed.
ABILITY - VENGENCE
sydney's ability makes her great for defense against the family. depending on how you go up the tree, you can use sydney's ability as a grapple without the worry of losing and being killed (health deducted from attacks by other family members is halfed while using ability). you can also use it to drain the family's stamina, reduce the cooldown period to use the ability as much as you can, or keep the family in a stand off for a longer period to buy others more time to complete objectives.
EDIT NOTE: i forgot to clarify that there is unique animations sydney has with the family members when using her ability. she wrestles, scratches, headbutts, bites, and specifically for bubba she jumps on his back and tries to gouge his eyes out which puts him in a panic (in case you were wondering how she can grapple him). yeah she crazy. don't mess with bitches from staten island!!
lvl one. cooldown period is reduced by 20% OR duration of ability lasts three seconds OR ability drains family's stamina by 20%
lvl two. cooldown period is reduced by 35% OR duration of ability lasts five seconds OR ability drains family's stamina by 45%
lvl three. cooldown period is reduced by 50% OR duration of ability last seven seconds OR ability drains family's stamina by 75%
UNIQUE PERKS
POULTRY BUTCHER. sydney can silence chickens without the use of a bone scrap (has 4 charges at lvl three)
COME AND GET ME. if sydney makes noise, any attack within 15 seconds by a family member will result in 80% less damage (at max lvl)
DEATH CROAK. incapitating grandpa reduces the family bond by 2.5 levels and delays his next feed by 30 seconds (at max lvl)
VICTIM PERKS
syndey can attain the following perks . . .
bounce back better, choose flight, conditioned, deadbolt, efficient backstabber, exit strategy, fuse lights, grappler, high tolerence, highly skilled, hush or die, immunity, jack in the box, overlooked, radar detector, ran track, tae kwon door.
VOICELINES
"these scheeves picked on the wrong girl."
"hey! how the hell you get outta here?"
"you dead-ass right now? they're gonna hear us if you keep running around like that!"
"jeez, try being a little more quiet next time."
"sick, this might open that door."
"i don't care if those fuckers find me, i'm ready for them."
"get out of here, i'll handle this."
[progged when seeing johnny] "shit, it's him. he don't look so handsome no more..."
[prompted when fighting johnny] "this is what you get, you fuckhead! don't mess with me!"
"they're crazy, they're all goddamn crazy."
"hey, asshole! come and get some."
[when seeing other victims] "if you figure out a way to get us outta here, i can district them."
"wanna kill me? you ain't got the guts."
