okay so. i binged what there is so far of lore olympus AND finally have encountered antis head on (my tumblr feed is heavily curated to avoid narrow-minded censorship advocates you see, but wow you really can't avoid it in this fandom huh)
the thing about everyone's vitriol towards LO and Rachel Smythe is like. it's not that the criticisms are entirely unwarranted. like for sure Persephone is the most annoying kind of Mary Sue; the myths are inconsistent (which....they are even in the source texts like i don't get this one); it's chronically online (although the hate is also chronically online lol everybody touch grass); the acephobia; etc.
but the problem is that most of the hate is so disproportionately egregious that it undermines all the points and conversation. like everyone has banded together around hating something instead of loving it (particularly on the reddit), and that's just such an absolutely boring way of consuming media. like guess what, nuance exists. guess what, you can enjoy pretty pictures of age gap couples and not advocate for power imbalances in real life. guess what, critiquing things doesn't have to be all or nothing -- you can notice things are flawed and still enjoy them. like it's a story! it means to you what you want it to mean! it's not that deep!!
there's also this undertone of jealousy that infuses sooo much of the critique -- so many people feel personally invested in the myths OR have their own version that isn't as popular, and it's just so transparent that they're picking apart something else bcs of their own insecurity. like do what you gotta do to make yrself feel better, but it's not Rachel Smythe's fault your own story isn't popular (and that shouldn't be yr metric of quality anyway!)
anyway tl;dr jill encountered antis firsthand and hopes they find peace one day. but until then stay mad babes

The things that The Flow can do
I'm kinda of a newcomer to the JD comunity, but I reunited all the possible things that The Flow can do, welp, here it goes:
-Create portals and just teleporting (Used by The Traveler, Si'Ha Nova, Wanderlust and Night Swan)
-Cloning yourself (Used by The Traveler and Wanderlust)
-Break/Fix things (Sweet but Psycho and I Am My Own Muse)
-Transforming people in your personal minions
-Root (The power of remaining in the same spot regardless of the circumstances. As seen in Dragostea Din Tei)
-Give life to objects (Probably used to create Discoball)
-Air/earth manipulation(?) (Used by Agent D in Toxic to ooof the agents who were against her and in Gimme More by the same reason)
-Change clothes REALLY FAST (Ok, you CANNOT convince me that Agent D in that scene in Toxic, she didn't used The Flow to change her clothes realy fast, also, I Wanna Dance With Somebody used that same power at the ending of the song)
-Metal/Electrical manipulation (Bellis from "Daisy" uses her powers to manipulate the factory functions)
-"Animagus" (used by Felicia in 'Bloody Mary')
-Influence other people (I think that's the "base" power of The Flow, that is, being able to influence other people to do what you want/what you doing, maybe Night Swan powers is a EXTREME evolution of this power)
-Water manipulation
-Dream powers (Cthylla)
-Fire powers (Derkes, goddess of fire, and Luke Cypher)
-Firearms (Diego in Livin La Vida Loca)
-Giving powers to objects (Hairman hairdryer, Phone Girl phones)
-Telekinectic powers (revealed by the lore master that HTE, has those)
-Plant/fungus powers/manipulation (Amanita and Rosaria)
-Glass manipulation(?) (Icona Shard avatar)
-Rubik cubes manipulation (Rubika)
-Power to create ANYTHING (Selios)
-Shadow Manipulation (Shadow Rider in 'Judas')
-Screen manipulation (?) (Talia and Sandy)
-Butterfly manipulation (?) (Giulia and Mothingan)
-Ilusion (Iluquim)
If I forgot anything, please let me know.
Ok, ok, all this Flow thingi is quite interesting, but *how* does it work?
Well, I have a theory/headcanon, that, it's The Flow that choses its user, it's stated that everyone on the Danceverse, but only a few can use it, so my theory/hc is basicaly:
There's this person, this person has *mad* moves, The Flow looks at the person and thinks "damn, this person has mad moves!" then The Flow permits this person to utilize them, but here's the catch!
The Flow always gives the person the powers to manipulate what The Flow finds suitable for that person.
Example: Diego flowbend involves firearms, he has this power because The Flow saw that he would be the best suitable to have this power, Diego *could* have the power to create portals or air manipulation, but The Flow wouldn't let him because it doesn't find suitable for him, and even if he gets those powers, The Flow will try to resist on him trying to use.
Thanks for coming to my TED-talk.

What class and romance interests are your Warden, Hawke and Inquisitor?
omg thank you for giving me an excuse to talk about them
warden: matila amell is a blood mage / failed arcane warrior (bad at holding a sword), morally she's very good but interpersonally she's blunt and everyone is SO scared of her. she romances leliana but it's not actually super serious so she breaks up with her in a letter like a week after they agree to go long distance. she was also a little bit in love with morrigan though and will never actually get over it.
hawke: marcus hawke is a warrior and reaver, he only gets one specialisation because neither of the other two really make sense for him. he's very abrasive and rude and rivals everyone except isabela and the mages; he and varric have this really weird relationship where varric is obviously in love with him and marcus is trying to ignore it. and ofc he romances anders and they run off into the sunset to have a surprisingly normal relationship after the explosion.
inquisitor: mary trevelyan is a rogue archer. i think she's also a tempest but the rogue specialisations are weird in inq. she romances cullen because her family are very religious and she pretty much always assumed she was going to have to marry someone templar-related anyway. playing her is the only way i can feel bad for cullen because he's SO nice to her and she's just not feeling it at all. she absolutely leaves him the second she disbands the inquisition. sorry cullen.
