I am so proud of my son for he did well in his exams. He scored 359 marks in his KCPE examination at Olympic Primary school. Luckily he got sponsored by Elimu Scholarship Fund to be joining Starehe High School. He really motivated me more in my hustling business of selling eggs. I wake up everyday at 5am and boil eggs then head up to places where I can attract customers, like bus stages, gates of institutions and other places. It is really a hard work for me since I was involved in an accident and one of my legs got injured and it pains at times when I’m walking around selling my eggs. Regardless of that, I feel that my effort don’t go in vain since my son is my light and for him, I can do anything.

*ohne Grenzen: jegliche eigenen Barrieren, moralische wie innere, auch die eigenen, komplett wegfallen lassen, selbst als Arzt, auch beim eigenen Tun oder den auch eigenen Verhaltensmustern. Hier dem eigenen Patienten gegenüber! ‘Ohne jegliche Skrupel sein, sie dem anderen gegenüber nicht haben oder zeigen’, ein ‘fast oder nahezu grenzenloses Verhalten’

“Slums gelten als Horte von Ar-mut und Kriminalität bis heute” der, ein mutiger Ar***, (Kaffee) Creme + in + a**** + ni(e) + (jene Aktion oder Tat, die man dann erneut damit bei auch anderen hervorruft als beinahem Automatismus!!)

Als sozialen Sack empfände er da viel öfter auch manchen Unternehmer, wenn der zu Billiglöhnen beispielsweise in Bangladesh produzieren ließe.

“Trabert ist Professor und Arzt, er hilft mit bei der Versorgung von Obdachlosen und ist weltweit für Opfer in Kriegen und gegen Armut im Einsatz, hilft nach Katastrophen”

Es müsse Orte für sie geben, an denen man Armen keine vorherigen Bedingungen stellte. (die im Slum mit tätige sogar auch Ordensfrau)

“... manche sitzen den ganzen Tag über nur am Kaffeebüdchen”

Wider jeglicher Erwartungen begegnete man dort Menschen, die beständig ihre Türen anderen öffneten, starken Menschen also, die es immer dann wären, sobald andere in ‘Not’ gerieten. (die Ordensschwester erneut)

‘Wir müssen allen Menschen unbedingt einen auch eigenen zukünftigen Zugang zu Sanitäranlagen gewährleisten ... und das weltweit!! Dafür sammeln wir oder wollen ihre persönliche Spende!’ 

(Ganz oft lautet der Inhalt einer diesbezüglichen Werbeanzeige dann erneut so! Sie richtet sich an den Europäer!)

“Hungrige speisen, bereits Gebeugte wieder aufrichten”

‘Im Ortsteil Duisburg-Marxloh und dem Petershof stehen die Türen wirklich allen offen, neben Geflüchteten also auch den eigenen (deutschen) Obdachlosen’. (Kontinente, ein Magazin von Ordensfrauen)

‘Hier heißt die Frage deshalb auch nicht: Wo kommst du her?, stattdessen wird gesagt: ‘Schön, dass (auch) du da bist!’

“Rund 1000 Menschen kommen täglich hierher: Obdachlose, junge Leute, Straffällige, Flüchtlinge, und bereits ältere Menschen, wenn die sich einsam fühlen, sie dennoch vielleicht noch das Deutsche als Sprache erlernen wollen”.

“Acht Teenager trainieren Boxen mit Omer. Es ist Ramadan”.

“Alle kommen sie aus Marxloh, dem Stadtteil, von dem es immer wieder heißt, es gäbe gerade auch in ihm besonderen Erneuerungsbedarf”.

“Man wird vom Boxen sicherer”, sagt einer dieser Schüler.

“Dabei wird aber nie direkt der Partner verletzt”.

“Before he revamped his farm Edalia supplied vegetables to about 20 people a month. Now he can supply about 250 families. With all this new produce to distribute, the American charity provided financial support to help him introduce a voucher system. Community mobilizers from the Human Needs Project identified vegetable vendors at strategic spots in Kibera, who collect vegetables from Edalia's farm and hand them out to eligible families who've obtained a voucher from the charity.

The World Food Programme and the Nairobi City County are official partners with the farm, too — plaques with their names are nailed to the corrugated metal walls” (Bwire).
