Can I request a Larissa weems x genderfluid reader.
R is also a shape shifter and ends up screwing Larissa on one of their masc days however neither of them realise that r can get Larissa pregnant. So a couple months later when Larissa starts getting morning sickness it leads to an oh shit moment between the two and they both start freaking out about knowing nothing about kids. Marilyn finds them freaking out and reminds them that their both idiots cause they've dedicated their lives to teaching/guiding outcast children and have been acting parents to them for years.
Hey my dear anon! I tried my best with this please let me know if something doesn’t fit the gn r role. It’s my first time writing for that and I don’t have much experience but I’m hoping my research has helped some.
Could we be mothers
*Authors note~ this is my first attempt at a fic like this so please let me know if there's anyways I could improve for the future also would like to dedicate this to my favourite couple who helped me to accept myself. for who I am and wish their newborn daughter E.R.H on the 5•03•23! A very happy welcome to the world little one <3 she’s absolutely gorgeous and a sign that anyone can be a parent as long as they have love and care in their hearts*

Gender always seemed like a funny concept to you. One you had battled with for so many years. Yet not only did you have to battle with accepting yourself, you had to battle with the acceptance of others. Ultimately that was the worst part. Knowing not everyone would accept you for yourself was ultimately heartbreaking. You spent years being misgendered and called some of the most hateful names by some of the people who were meant to love and care for you the most.
That's why when you met the goddess of a women that was Larissa Weems, you felt as if the lords above had blessed you with your very own angel. Someone to love, hold and cherish you for who you truly were. Larissa will always be a dream come true for you. She loved you like no other ever had. You were learning what you should've learned years ago, what love actually felt like. Your ability and your gender were just two of the reasons you had been through hell and back. The fact that Larissa was also a shape shifter took that fear away. Then she was the most accepting over your gender, even helping you pick out some more masculine looking clothes for the days you didn't feel comfortable in your body.
Your relationship with Larissa is quite simply amazing, in every single aspect, the fact you could shift parts of your body made certain aspects of the relationship so much more interesting. It allows you to feel everything just as a typical cis man would. That made it even more special knowing you were both able to enjoy the act. Plus you didn't have to worry about pregnancy. That's a win win right? Well that's what you thought.
Larissa had called you into the bathroom sounding absolutely terrified, instantly you were up and racing to join her. She had curled herself up into a ball against the wall, head resting on her knees as she sobbed quietly. Something was wrong. "Ris?" You murmured taking in the scene in front of you. All she did was hand you a little white test. A test? You glanced down at the test, it had two blue lines. Immediately your brain recognised what was happening. But it can't? Surly? How could this happen? I mean you knew how but how exactly.
You made your way to gather Larissa in your arms, externally seeming calm and collected but internally you were freaking out. Could you be a parent? A mom? Or dad? What would you even prefer to be? Larissa would be a stunning mother, you knew that. You saw how she doted on the students, loving and supporting them every day. But you? How could you be a good parent when you had no experience in the matter. Your own childhood wasn't a great one, could you be any different?
What did a baby even need? Would you hold it correctly? What if it was a boy? How would you explain things typically a father would? Neither of you had any experience with babies. Both having your own set of challenges, yet this child would be yours and Larissa's. They would be absolutely stunning you knew that. There was no doubt they would be the most perfect baby to ever exist and oh so loved. But sometimes loving someone means letting them go. If you didn't feel like you could be a good parent then why would you subject an innocent child to an inadequate parent?
Little did you know Larissa was having similar thoughts and the thoughts of guilt. Would you stay with her? Would you be mad? Would you blame her? Or worse would you think she had cheated? Obviously you would never assume that, you knew how much she loves you. You lost count of how long you sat together, holding each other and reassuring the other that you weren't mad or leaving.
Marilyn had been searching for Larissa, school related issue, yet she seemed to come up empty handed so made her way to your private quarters. Neither of you had heard her entrance to the room and she didn't call out, absolutely stuck in your own world. It was a gasp that drew your attention, Marilyn stood with a big smile, spotting the little white test. You glanced between her and Larissa and shook your head in a silent cue. Marilyn understood instantly that you were both doubting yourself and abilities. She instantly began showering you with praises and kind words. Truly she knew you both would be amazing parents to this little one.
"Y/n, Larissa, this baby will be so loved you don't have to worry, I see you both with the students here. You love, support and cherish them. Many of the students view you as chosen family. And I know that because they have told me. In fact a few have even slipped calling you mum or dad when referring to you. And having a little one of your own, both of you, will be the most precious gift. So how about we stand up wipe our tears so I can congratulate two of the most amazing friends I have." Her tone leaving no room for argument and you couldn't help but laugh pulling Larissa to her feet gently. You both really were being silly, of course you would be amazing parents and this baby would be so very loved. You would stand by Larissa every day and raise your baby together in a home, well school, filled with love.

"What do you mean, you don't believe in jealousy?" Larissa scoffed from where she was lounging on her bed gloriously naked, as you kept putting your clothes back on.
You had a sort of arrangement going on. A purely physical, no strings attached kind of arrangement: when the stress of managing and teaching a school full of teenagers with paranormal abilities got too much, either of you would call for a meeting. You would rant to each other about your frustrations, until words left the floor to frantic kissing, hands exploring each other's bodies, items of clothing flying across the room. Sometimes you made it to Larissa’s custom-built canopy bed, sometimes only to her desk. Sometimes she had you pinned to the door, a hand finding its way to the fly of your jeans, as she rutted against your thigh.
It was tawdry, it was dirty, it was highly unprofessional. It was also extremely hot. Even when you were in staff meetings that ran too long you could feel the tension building between you two, measured in stares, in the brush of your fingers against hers as you passed her some papers, in the apparently casual touch of her foot against your calves. Neither you nor she went out of your way to talk about it too much, not wanting to put a label on it that would force you to face the connection that the two of you felt for each other. As if by talking about it you would jinx it somehow.
"I think jealousy is overrated. Either you are in an exclusive relationship with someone, and you should be able to trust them not to cheat on you, or you are non-exclusive, and whomever they sleep with is none of your business. Simple as that."
"You make it sound so cold and calculated. But jealousy is illogical, darling, it’s pure unadulterated fire that burns you from within. You cannot think your way around it when you feel it. You cannot rationalize it." She sounded patronizing, as if you were but a kid who didn’t know the way of the world yet. You shrugged, not showing how that tone bothered you, reminding you of the age gap between you, just another reason why you could never aspire to have something more with this amazing woman. "I guess I've never felt it then. Or maybe it doesn't work on me."
“One day, darling, you’ll feel it too.” She promised, vague and menacing like a soothsayer.
“I guess I might. Sleep well, Larissa, I’ll see you around.” As always, you didn’t turn back when you left her room, too afraid she might be able to read on your face the longing to just stay there with her until morning.
*
You stopped in front of the teacher’s lounge, your hand already on the handle, dead in your tracks as you heard the raised voices inside. It was unusual for Larissa to be found here unless there was a meeting, she usually preferred to spend time in her study. You tried to listen in, trying to understand what was going on before barging in.
“I told you, Larissa, no.”
“Oh, don’t be so uptight, Vlad. It’s all in good fun.”
“No, it’s not. It’s unprofessional, and borderline immoral too.”
“Aw, come on, Vlad. Just the one time…who knows, maybe you’ll end up enjoying it too.”
Well. That was more than unusual. You knew that lilting, suggestive tone well, but had never heard it outside of your own meetings with Larissa.
“Hello there!”
You saw Marilyn coming up from the other side of the hallway, smiling as always, blissfully oblivious to the exchange going on into the teacher’s lounge, and you couldn’t lurk in front of the door any longer. You opened the door, and strode in, holding it open for the redhead, while your eyes fell on the two whose conversation you were interrupting. Larissa was looming over Vlad, invading his personal space,  having backed him up against the bookshelf on the far end of the lounge. His hands were up, as if trying to fend her off, while one of hers was directly beside his head, holding onto one of the shelves and half-blocking him in. Like a deer in the headlights, Vlad’s eyes darted to you and Marilyn, who candidly asked, “Is everything alright?”
The fencing coach unfroze at that, and without bothering to respond, he dashed away from his compromising position and towards the door, followed by Larissa’s voice calling after him: “When you change your mind, you know where my quarters are, Vlad!”
 Clearly, he had changed his mind at some point because when you were coming back from your usual morning run the next day, you saw him slinking out of Larissa’s rooms, still in yesterday’s rumpled clothes, his normally tidy hair sticking up in every direction. Bed hair. He looked at you, sending you a sheepish smile in lieu of a greeting, as he shrugged in a ‘What could I do?’ way.
You didn’t blame him. It was hard to say no to Larissa when she wanted something, you had some first-hand experience with that. Did they fuck all through the night, or had he been allowed to sleep there? You had never dared to ask to spend the night. You had assumed she wouldn’t want you to, it would have been part of that putting a label on whatever you had going on. And she for sure had never thought to ask. Or maybe she simply had someone else to fulfil that need.
*
It couldn’t have been Vlad, you thought as you studied the bite mark on Larissa’s thigh, while she was squirming and panting on her chair, three of your fingers knuckle-deep into her, curling up to stroke her just in the right place. Vlad was a vampire, and the imprints his canines would leave were quite different from the ones you could see from your vantage point, kneeling between Larissa’s long legs, as your tongue ran along the milky expanses, marred with bruises you surely didn’t leave.
She had yet another lover, then. You swallowed around the realization, unsure on how to properly wrap your mind around it. You were spared for the moment, as her hand came to tangle in your hair, guiding your mouth back to her folds, back to pleasuring her. You buried yourself into her, trying to lose any semblance of rational thought in her inebriating taste.
*
It felt like once you started seeing the hints, they just kept popping out more and more. The librarian’s soft blush as Larissa gave her shoulder a squeeze and left her hand there for a while, as she congratulated her on the success of her book club. The Lycan Studies teacher’s glassy eyes as the principal leaned into his personal space, asking him if he could please go into more detail about his changes to the curriculum about werewolf mating habits, such a fascinating topic. Lingering glances, casual touches that you had never given any relevance to suddenly took on deeper meaning.
Even the school nurse wasn’t allowed medical neutrality, apparently. You had the dubious pleasure of discovering this as you were accompanying a young gorgon who had managed to stone his right arm from the shoulder down in an attempt to avoid a surprise quiz (it hadn’t worked, as he still had his left hand to type with).
“I never knew you had such a passion for red wine, Mx Lin, you’ll have to drop by my office sometime or another, so you can sample the best I have to offer.”
“Oh, well Principal, I hardly think that–”
“I insist. Drinking them all alone by myself would be such a waste…some things are meant to be enjoyed in company.”
You irritatedly cleared your throat. Flirting was all fun and everything, but some things were best kept away from the students. While the nurse had the decency to look sheepish, Larissa looked down at you, unrepentant, a predatory smirk gracing her crimson lips as she let her eyes roam over your stiff body.
*
It had been the longest week of your life. A week piled up with evidence that pointed all in one direction, towards a flashing neon sign that you were trying your best to still ignore. But all illusions have to break at some point when confronted with reality.
Apparently, your breaking point was the resident normie botanist.
“Marilyn?”
“Oh hi, there! I didn’t know Larissa had another meeting after ours! She really goes hard at it, doesn’t she?”
“I…I’m sorry?”
“I mean, it’s a Friday night and she has one-on-one meetings with the both of us back to back…she sure can be intense, can’t she?”
“I’m sure she can…”
“Well, I’ll be off! Don’t let her tie you up for the whole evening, it is Friday after all!” She waved at you and left, skipping down the hallway, oblivious to your sputtering, or maybe ignoring it willingly, as you tried to ascertain whether she was being suggestive on purpose or if it was your mind that went straight to the gutter. Unable – or maybe unwilling – to solve that specific mystery, you knocked lightly on Larissa’s door to announce your presence, and pushed the door open without waiting for her reply.
The office was partly plunged in the shadows, the main source of light being the flickering flames of the fire, and a couple of small lamps scattered across the room. It wasn’t the sort of ambience you would have at the end of a business meeting. It felt cozy, intimate, more suited to a rendezvous of different nature than discussing lectures and school funds for greenhouses.
Was Marilyn yet another of Larissa’s seemingly endless string of lovers? The bubbly redhead that skipped down the corridors muttering country songs to herself? That Marilyn, who always looked like the epitome of the oblivious virgin? What did she have to offer to someone like Larissa? Was it some sort of sick corruption fantasy?
Your eyes sought the familiar figure of your boss and found her using the glass of her window as a mirror as she fixed her hair. She had probably messed it up running her own hands through it, while going over the paperwork, it didn't have to mean anything. You let your gaze drop to her wrinkled pencil skirt, it could have been due to a long day of sitting at the desk. Even within your own mind you didn’t know why you kept trying to make up excuses, but when she turned towards you, a sultry smile on her face and a greeting on her lips, you couldn’t help but stare transfixed at her mouth as you slowly made her way towards her, as if sleepwalking.
Beside her bottom lip, there was a smudge of lipstick.
In a different color to the one she was wearing.
A color matching Marilyn’s coral pink.
“Are you alright darling?”
You ignored her question as well as the moniker, simply advancing towards her like an unstoppable wave. You walked right into her space and lifted a hand to her face.
“You…” Your voice felt rough, dry. As if you had forgotten how to speak. You cradled her cheek in your hand, an unexpected jolt of pain coursing though you when she leaned into your touch, her long lashes fluttering closed for a second as if unconsciously relishing in the contact with you. She was such a good actress, no wonder so many of you had fallen into her lure.
“You have a smudge here.” You tracked the pad of your thumb against it, removing the proof. You searched her gaze, unsure and possibly afraid of what you’d find there. She held your stare, no trace of guilt and regret in her eyes, but a weird questioning intensity, as if she herself was searching for something in you, and not finding it. Maybe she was looking for whatever she found in all of her other lovers. Or maybe they didn’t have it, either, always coming up short to Larissa Weems’ high standards.
"Jesus, Larissa. I get it that you are the principal and so you’re good at multitasking, but you sure need to worry about crowd control in here." You tried to sound light and teasing about it, but your joke fell flat, weighted down by the vein of bitterness in your voice.
"Whatever could you possibly mean by that?" The intensity in her gaze was suddenly gone, supplanted by a flirty playfulness in her voice that rubbed you the wrong way. You wondered if she used the same tone with them as well. Did she tailor her flirting to whomever was in her clutches at the time, or she was always like this, and all of you simply had a thing for your hot, tall, domineering boss?
Not that you could be one to talk. The minute she had flirted with you the first time around, you had been completely captivated by her, ecstatic at the chance you had been offered. That fumbling first time together had been one of your most treasured memories until this day, but it was somehow turning sour as you thought about it now.
"How many?"
"I'm sorry?"
"How many people have you fucked in Nevermore? The whole staff? Maybe one or two students of age, too? I hope you still have the morals to leave the minors be."
"There's no need to be crass, darling. One might think you are being jealous."
The word hit you like a slap and you took a step back, away from her. Was that the reason for the roiling pit of resentment at the bottom of your stomach? It couldn't be. It was just disappointment. You honestly thought that what you two had was somewhat special, even if purely physical. Instead, you had found out that you were just one of many. Another bed warmer in the principal’s collection.
"Of course I'm not." You answered, mechanically.
"You say it, but somehow I don't believe you."
"I mean it though. I don't have any claim on you, Larissa. You made it pretty evident in the past week."
She looked like she was getting angry with this conversation, her hand gripping the back of her chair until her knuckles were white. "Is that so? Then why should you care how many people I choose to sleep with?"
"I don't! I just…want to know whether it meant at least something to you, or if I'm just another fucking notch on your bedpost."
"You know…" she prowled closer, and this time you couldn’t move away, frozen to the spot as she bent her head and started to kiss the side of your neck. Her perfume enveloped your senses, making you lightheaded, while her hands played with the hem of your shirt, slipping under it, grazing the side of your torso, cold against your almost feverish skin. You were already beginning to give in, throwing your head back to give her better access to your throat, to suck on it, leaving a necklace of bruises as she often did (you always had to wear turtlenecks for a few days after one of your meetings with her, and she seemed to take great pleasure in that).
But this time she ignored your exposed neck, choosing to let her lips ghost across yours, so that when she spoke again, you could feel her breath on you. "You can admit that you were wrong. That you are jealous after all. That seeing me with someone else makes you want to scream from the rooftops that you want me to be yours and yours alone…Your little secret would be safe with me." She closed the distance between your mouths, pressing her lips to yours in a hard, unyielding kiss, her tongue immediately trying to gain entrance to spar with yours.
The same mouth, lips and tongue who had been ravishing Marilyn not five minutes ago, if you could put two and two together. And that sum was suddenly too much for you.
You felt like a vat of burning tar had been poured inside of you. Heavy, and scorching hot. “Jealousy is illogical, darling, it’s pure unadulterated fire that burns you from within.” Her own voice resonated in your brain, mocking, patronizing, like that day when apparently everything had started to go wrong.
“You can admit that you were wrong.” You felt yourself go rigid as your mind caught up to your emotions. You had been had. You were jealous. The mere thought of Larissa being in this same position with countless other people filled you with indescribable rage. And she knew it, and did it on purpose. That was probably the most painful aspect of it all: the realization that it had been nothing but a game to her.
Suddenly you felt just sad, dirty, and used. Whatever connection you had deluded yourself into thinking the two of you had, was obviously just a bit of fun to Larissa. Something that could be thrown to the side to prove her point in a debate you had almost forgotten about.
Expendable. Like a pet that started misbehaving and was unceremoniously dropped in front of a shelter.
You pushed her away, your eyes filling with tears of rage and disappointment. She even had the audacity to look at you with a surprised expression, as if you detaching yourself from her irresistible lips was the last thing she imagined could happen. Like you were there just to do her bidding. Another one of her malleable playthings. One she could manipulate into feeling whatever she wanted to, to appease her ego.
“Fuck you, Larissa.” The sentence came out angry, curt and it didn’t make you feel any better.
“I beg your pardon?”
“Fuck you. I’m done here. You can go shag some other fucktoy from your collection when you’re in the mood.”
You turned on your heel, leaving her warmth behind as you crossed the room to the door in short, agitated steps.
She caught up with you as you were fighting against the lock, and held the door closed, leaning against it with one hand, the other roughly grabbing your shoulder to turn you around.
"Let me out."
You took in her face, still beautiful even when hardened by anger. Her voice was low and menacing as she spoke to you: "If you think for one second that you can just insult me and leave, you have vastly misunderstood me, darling."
"Yeah well, I'm starting to realize as well that I misunderstood you."
"Is that it? How so?"
You felt tears coming back to your eyes, and you looked away from her, towards your feet, trying not to show her your hurt. A pointless endeavor, really, because you were sure it filtered into the words you spoke next.
"I thought you were a kind, strong person. Someone who put the good of Nevermore before anything else, even your personal life. And I accepted it, admired it even. That's why I never asked you more than what we had – she already has her hands full with all her duties, I thought, a relationship that goes beyond the purely physical level is clearly not what she wants."
You scoffed, and it came out as more of a sob than anything else.
"Of course, I didn't realize that your hands were full because they were down any pants you could find… more fool me I guess, to think that what we had was something more than another roll in the hay for you."
"You…wanted to make it something more?" the disbelief coming from her voice piled more pain on your poor abused heart.
"Ridiculous, right? To think that I truly and well fell for you, how pitiful. At least I know you won't be left alone to take care of your frustrations if I leave our little arrangement."
"Darling, I…"
"You made it pretty obvious that I don't mean jack shit to you, so if you please let me out, I'd appreciate it."
"It was not real."
"Yeah, I realized it as well. Spare me the pity."
"No, that's not what I meant!"
"Then what on Earth did you mean, Larissa? I'm not following anymore."
"I… I just wanted to prove you wrong. To make you admit that you are jealous. Of me."
"Yeah, I gathered as much. Congratulations, you've won. You've also fucked me up and broke my heart while you were at it, but that's not something you care about, do you?"
"That was never my intention, none of it was real."
"You keep saying that, and I get that you don't think twice about sleeping around, but we're all real people, with real emotions. Someone was bound to get hurt at some point. That someone was me, just my luck."
"I've never slept with anyone else." She murmured this, as if it was a confession, and you couldn't help the strangled laugh that fell from your lips. "Unbelievable. You're just…” You rubbed your hands on your face, your incredulity at the sheer nerve of her making it hard to put into words. “God, Larissa, gaslighting might have worked if you hadn't given me time and time again proof of your activities. Wasn't it the point of this little game of yours? To let me see that you have just as much fun with all the others?"
"I know how it seems, but I never did anything with them. I…used my powers so it would look like I did."
"You really expect me to believe that?"
You looked up at her, disbelief written plainly on your face. Why couldn’t she just let you go? There was nothing you could offer that she couldn’t find in all the others, so what was the point of this whole production?
"It's the truth. I did nothing more than flirt with other people. I shifted the love bites and the lipstick on myself."
"What about Vlad?"
"I was trying to convince me to help with this ruse. He refused.”
"Larissa, I saw him coming out of your rooms one morning."
"I know. It was me."
You let yourself slowly slide along the door until you were sitting on the floor, hiding your face in your hands. You really didn’t know what to think now. Was she being serious, or was this another elaborate plot?
"You have a lot of issues woman."
"I know. I said I was sorry."
"Actually no, you didn't."
"I'm saying it now, then. I am truly sorry, darling. I fucked everything up to prove a point."
"You really did."
The conversation, the whole week was spinning before your closed eyes, as you tried to make any sense of it, and of what it all meant. Was it really just an illusion? And even if it was, where did this leave you? You had confessed your feelings for her, there was no way you could now go back to the no-strings-attached dalliance you had before. And you didn’t want to, either.
You felt the warmth from her body seep into yours as she sat beside you, her hand coming to rest on your shoulder. Your traitorous heart leapt in your chest, beating faster just because of that little touch. Oh, the hold this woman still had on you. It was unfair. You wished that you could instantly turn all of your feelings for her to hatred instead. That would make this all easier to go through. If you hated her, you could leave this room and never come back except in a professional setting.
What would that even look like? To set your eyes on Principal Weems and just feel resentment for her, until it dulled into nothingness, leaving behind only the memory of feelings. To listen to her talk during meetings and not be captivated by her smooth, melodious voice. To hate the way her lips quirked up when something went her way.
You couldn’t even imagine it, so in love you were with her, still.
“Is there…is there any way I can make it up to you?”
“Larissa,” it came out tiredly, you were   “Are you already trying to get back in my pants?”
“No! I meant… I am sorry, and I do care about you, and what we have.”
“I…I’m not sure I can trust you enough right now. I am afraid I wouldn’t be able to go back to whatever we had before. I…I don’t think I could take it.”
“Can I take you on a date?”
“What?” The question came out strangled, disbelieving. Never in your wildest fantasies you had dared to dream Principal Larissa Weems would be asking you out. It just wasn’t how the real world worked. “Is this another kind of game? Because I told you I’ve fallen for you?”
“I…I didn’t think you’d want to have anything more with me. That was why it made me so angry when you said you weren’t jealous. I thought it meant you didn’t care. I wanted you to care. About me.”
“Larissa, I’ve been head over heels for you for ages. You never hinted that you wanted anything more. I don’t want your pity.”
“I didn’t want you to feel pressured to agree. I am your boss, I didn’t want you to feel like you had to. It is one thing to release some tension together, I didn’t think you’d want to…be seen with me.”
She dropped her gaze to the ground as she said this, and she suddenly didn’t look like the confident principal you were used to seeing. She looked afraid and lonely and small. You brought your hand to her chin, lifting it so that her eyes could meet your own.
“Larissa, there’s nothing in the world I would love more than to date you. But if we want to make it work, we both need to talk to each other, okay? No more games, no more assumptions. Deal?”
Her incredulous smile lit up her whole face, as her mesmerizing eyes once again searched yours, and sparkled with joy at finally finding there what they were looking for.
“Deal.”

Requests & Prompt-List
Warnings: Fluff, Anxiety attack, anxiety, overstimulation, sense of overwhelming, little Angst, age gap(all legal), comfort fic, physical affection, hugging, etc.
Enjoy (:
The minute you had stepped into your third period class, you could feel the overstimulation in the air. You already had high anxiety this morning, and this class was by far the worst for your anxiety…
You sat down at a desk with an anxious pit in your stomache, and class begun. You always sat in the back, out of sight and out of mind.
Even though all you wanted was for once, someone to notice you weren’t okay…
A group of werewolf boys were always roudy in this class, and the teacher was always yelling at them to settle down. Then there were the whispers and gossip train of the vampires on the other end of the classroom. Plus the lesson being taught which you had to pay attention you. It all just got worse and worse as the minutes slowly went by.
Your heart was in your throat, your fists were clenched tightly and were white. You had given up on any note taking. You were just trying to focus on even breathing and not combusting in front of the whole class. It was all too much. Too overwhelming.
Suddenly, the classroom door opened. Your breath hitched slightly as Principal Weems walked in. She went over to your teacher and whispered a few things before going to exit again. But before she left, she turned around and scanned the rows of students. You gulped as her gaze lingered on you for what felt like longer than normal.
Save me…
You thought.
“Miss L/N, could I speak to you out in the hall for a moment?” Principal Weems’ voice echoed you back to reality.
You gulped again and clumsily made your way across the classroom and outside into the hall. Once Ms. Weems had closed the door, she her gaze met your frame. You couldn’t do anything but look at the ground.
“Miss L/N, are you quite alright…? You look pale…” the woman concerningly asked.
No, I’m not alright!!
“Yea im Fine” you mumbled, lying through your teeth.
Please see through me! Please see me!!
Principal Weems hummed in recognition of your words and paused for a moment. She then bent down to your level, and directed your chin with her hand, so that your gaze finally met hers.
“Are you sure? You don’t seem fine, love…” she gently pushed.
Your lip trembled slightly. And your eyes were frantic as tears started to well up in them.
“I… no… I’m not I’m sorry…” you choked out, screwing your eyes shit tight for fear of her rejection.
“Thank you for being honest with me, Darling. Would you accompany back to my office for a cup of tea?”
You blinked multiple times as your teary eyes finally looked back at the principal. Her face was filled with concern and care. Her eyes were soft and loving, not professional and stern anymore. You gulped and nodded. The woman then smiled and nodded, taking your hand and squeezing it reassuringly, as she led you to her office.
“M-my stuff…?” You squeaked out, as she was opening the door to her office.
“I will have my assistant go get your things. No need to worry, love…” She reassured you.
The woman placed you on her sofa by the fire, and then she quickly brewed two cups of tea, returning to you, and hanging you a cup.
“Thank you, Principal Weems…” you whispered, as she sat down a couple feet apart from you on the other end of the sofa.
The blonde hummed and nodded, “You can call me Larissa when we’re alone if you like.”
You sucked in a breath, still quite anxious, and nodded. You took a sip of your tea.
“Would you like to talk about it…?”
Suddenly, your tears were back. They welled up in your eyes and spilled down your cheeks. You set your tea aside to frantically wipe your tears away. Larissa quickly set her cup down as well, coming over to you and rubbing your back reassuringly.
Her touch felt nice…
“It’s just… It gets too much for me… sometimes… and I… N-no one has ever noticed…” you choked out through your silent tears.
“I understand. I used to get anxiety attacks in my student years as well. You’re not alone, love…” the blonde softly comforted you.
You leaned into the woman’s touch, ending up with your head against her chest, and your tears staining her dress. You started to pull back, but the woman stopped you.
“It’s okay, Darling…” Larissa said as if she knew exactly what you were asking for.
She then guided you to lay across her, fully on her lap, as she continued to stroke your back. Your shuddery, short breaths started to slowly even out. The woman let you talk and vent as long as you needed, until eventually you were calmed down.
Your things had been dropped off at your dorm she told you. And she said for you to take the rest to the day off. As Larissa led you out of her office, you wrapped your arms around the tall woman, hugging her. Stunned for a second but quick to melt into the embrace, the principal comforted you with her embrace. She then reminded you that her door was always open, before sending you on your way.

From Newark to Burlington
"You are that motherfucker who spilt coffee all over me and almost made me miss my plane in the cafeteria and now we’re stuck beside each other for this 4-hour flight; wait a second, did you just fall asleep on my shoulder? Oh god you look cute while sleeping"
Word count: 2.3k
Tumblr media
Your day was only beginning but already could not get worse. You needed to get the 10 a.m. plane from Newark to South Burlington in twenty minutes, and the barista was infuriatingly slow.
The queue was moving at a sloth's pace, and when it finally got to you, you could only control yourself not to run from the cafeteria to the gates in a panic. But you had some semblance of self-respect and settled for a quick walk; not everyone was you, though.
When you were just getting to the glass doors, someone from your left, too preoccupied with texting on their phone, crashed right into you, spilling your drink all over the nice suit jacket you bought for your first day at your new job. Great! Perfect! Now you had a ruined jacket, no other clothes to change into for the flight and worst of all: no coffee.
"Watch it, damn it!" you yelled at the person rapidly shooting apologies to you from over your head.
Over your head? What? You stopped to look the person in the face, and could not help but hold your breath for two to three seconds. Standing tall beside you was the most beautiful woman you had ever seen, and you'd seen some very fine women in your college days. Art school had all types of exquisite people, from models to actresses and tormented poets who always managed to surprise you in bed.
No, the silvery blond with reddened lips and badass sunglasses was the most gorgeous woman you'd ever laid eyes on.
You didn't know what to say for a bit, watching the regret and kindness wash away from the woman's face and be replaced by an arched brow and an unimpressed sneer.
"I am tremendously sorry," she definitely wasn't, "I should have looked" her tone was icy, and her posture was erect, although her smile was sickenly sweet.
You cursed yourself for your temper and tried to remedy your behaviour by sweetly reassuring her that it was all fine, but all you received in return was a side grin and scrunched nose that didn't convey the normal cuteness you'd think but utter distaste before she walked away in those mile-long legs and disappeared in the crowd.
Only you to fuck up so well what could have been a nice airport chat and, with any luck, exchange of numbers (you were smooth enough, it wasn't difficult to pick up women most times). Sighing, you went to your gate to get on the plane and finally be done with it all. Four hours of flight and you'd be starting your brand new life at Nevermore Academy. All the stress would be worth it.
It wasn't forty minutes later when the last passengers were boarding the plane and you saw her again. That goddess of a woman, walking down the corridor looking at the numbers on the seats. She had a scarf around her hair now and gracious gloved hands you hadn't noticed before. She didn't see you at first but stopping by the seat beside you, she looked up and saw you and the notebooks on your lap. You could guess your face was paler than the white sheets of paper all around.
She breathed deeply, and you briefly wondered if she would start a fight with you right now, in the middle of the plane, to get rid of the earlier stress you caused her. Wait, what? She bumped into you! You were the one with the right to be annoyed!
But she didn't do anything. She didn't even say anything or acknowledge your presence before sitting in the comfortable recliner beside you and picking up a novel from her rather tasteful tote bag (how could a motherf*cking tote bag be tasteful?? What the hell?). She proceeded to read for the next couple of hours, giving you the cold shoulder you were starting to think you didn't deserve all that much. Ok, you snapped at her once, but you apologised, right? Oh, no, you didn't. Well fuck.
You also didn't want to interrupt her and elicit more of her wrath, so you just resigned to admiring her from the corner of your eyes every few minutes. Damn, she was fine.
At eleven thirty, the plane made a one-hour stop at Washington, D.C., and some passengers were starting to get up to walk around or buy some snacks at the airport. You decided to have a stroll and left the tall, mysterious drama queen with her book. She could brood all she liked; you needed that coffee and some fresh air if you were to spend two more hours controlling yourself from trying to pass her a pickup line or not drool over the elegant movement of her fingers turning pages.
She did soft sounds while reading. You noticed it half an hour into the flight. While you were writing some notes and adjusting your schedule for the upcoming week, she would lightly chuckle or release a small huff as if frustrated with the character's choice in the story. It was mesmerising, utterly adorable, and you had to refrain from telling her to shut up if she didn't want to be kissed.
This airplane crush was getting out of hand, and while waiting for your coffee to get ready you decided to act.
Back in the blue-carpeted corridor, you strode confidently to your seat and weren't surprised to find the lovely woman still there. She wasn't reading this time but apparently writing on her phone. You could not abstain from feeling a bit frustrated by it being the entire reason that breathtaking piece of paradise was annoyed at you.
"Hey" you started, very charmingly of course, "I thought you'd be hungry by now, I haven't seen you eat since we left Newark and brought you these almond butter and banana roll-ups" you give her a smile you truly hoped was one of your cute ones that every girl at bars said made you look adorably sweet and naive.
She looked up at you and, for the first time, you saw her eyes without sunglasses. Of course she would have beautiful deep pools of blue in which you'd happily drown on. She looked questioningly at the treat neatly wrapped in a fancy cardboard box with leaves and flowers printed on it and back at you. Did you really sound that much of an asshole for her to be so suspicious?
"I didn't know if you were a vegetarian or vegan or whatever, so a went vegan to be safe" you shrugged lamely, trying to seem casual and not at all the weirdo that yelled at someone and was now pathetically trying to pave a road back to civility with them... and maybe a bit more than just civility.
"Thank you," she said uncertainly, taking the tiny package from your hand and sweet Jesus a glove could not make you shiver like that, it was against the law, "You didn't have to" she seemed a bit speechless, and you counted that as better than outright telling you to piss off.
"But I wanted to" you smiled charmingly at her and went to your seat. Some color was beginning to paint her cheeks and you couldn't help the smugness you felt by eliciting a response like that from her. She was not an ice wall after all.
"I wanted to apologise for how I acted earlier" you started again while she untied the lace around the cute box, a sweet banana scent coming from it when opened "I shouldn't have snapped at you, I was just a bit on edge to get to the plane" you chuckled.
"And yet I made it to the plane too, being polite and all" ooookay she was a bit of a bastard then. You liked the sass.
"Yes, indeed you made it" you laughed at that, beginning to feel that bubbly excitement of flirting in your sternum "To my delight".
She laughed with the food in her mouth, bringing her hand to cover it while she tried to control herself and finish eating.
"What do mean, delight? I've acted like a stubborn brooding child for the past two hours" she was laughing a throaty deep laugh now and you couldn't get enough of it. God, this woman would be the end of you.
"Yes, but I enjoyed watching you read. Very regal and imposing" she smiled at that, turning a bit redder but relaxing, her shoulders dropping a bit with a breath.
"So when you aren't being an irritable prat you're a charmer?" she arched a brow at you and you felt it like a blow to the stomach. That girl had some serious balls.
The flight improved 200% after that, with you asking her about the novel she was reading (Emma) and her taking an interest in your general class notes on classical portrayals of discriminated races throughout history. Turns out she supported normie-outcast-relations and thought it was an important issue to address in the modern era (which yes, finally someone agrees with you — it was so goddamn hard to find other normies that weren't scared shitless of people with superpowers) and you had very similar ideas on it.
Larissa, you learned, was not cold and unfriendly at all. She was a sweet bundle of nerves in a position of power at some institution that seemed unable to work without sending her e-mails every half hour. It was actually what she was doing when you bumped at the cafeteria, and you felt like the biggest dumbass on earth when she told you.
Around one you had fallen into a comfortable silence; her arm pressed against yours between the seats. You were slowly pilling up the courage to maybe graze her fingers and see if she would hold your hand when a weight fell on your shoulder and Larissa was sleeping against you.
You were ready to die then and there. Y/n, the happiest puppy alive on planet Earth. She was breathing softly against your neck and her throat was close to your shoulder. Although you really didn't mind the warmth from her small outtakes of breath, that could not be comfortable at all, so you tried to gently settle her until she seemed satisfied enough. If the light moan she made when her nose met your neck was anything to go by, you were sure she was fine. And for the seven hells, you weren't. How did she dare moan so close to your ear? Against your goddamned skin? If you could melt from overheating you would be a puddle at her feet.
The thing was, she wasn't just sinfully gorgeous, she was also heartbreakingly soft and comforting and sweet and everything good that ever existed. You could tell that underneath the mascara her eyelashes were pale and the little tip of her upturned nose was the cutest thing to ever be made in the entire history of the human race. You could spend an eleven-hour flight easily just cataloguing every inch of her face and fantasizing about getting the chance to kiss those lipstick-red lips, wondering if it would smudge and show everyone who saw you what you were doing. You had a feeling it would smudge, and if it didn't you'd have to put extra effort into showing people she was yours.
Jesus, that was a bit too much, wasn't it? But with her cheek pressed against your shoulder, you couldn't help but feel it wasn't. Truthfully it wasn't even near enough.
The airplane landed shortly after, and you dreaded having to wake her up and lose the warm pressure. You didn't have to, tough. The movement caused by the landing woke Larissa, who breathed deeply into your skin and rapidly sat up, suddenly tense.
She was turning a very becoming shade of red, and you had to bite your lip to keep from smiling too much.
"Good morning, princess" you teased.
"Oh, shut up!" she hid her face in her hands "I can't believe I slept on you, oh my god"
"Don't act so mortified. You are much nicer when sleeping, I enjoyed myself immensely" you laughed at her murderous face and you both started getting ready to exit.
You didn't want to lose her at the airport, but after getting your luggage it was quite easy to spot her. You thanked god for your taste in women and approached the tall goddess.
"Hey, I know this might be a little too soon, but would you like to go out for coffee sometime?" you tried the casual excuse to have her phone number, and she laughed. She laughed! The guts!
"I think coffee should be avoided near me" she winked, and you were going to die "But I'd love to meet again, maybe we could have hot chocolate at this cosy cafe in the city I'm near, Jericho."
Your brows went up, was this destiny?
"Actually, I'll be living there for a while til I get settled on my new job, so that would be perfect!"
"Really?" she seemed excited, but a small crease formed between her eyebrows and she looked you up and down before snapping out of whatever thought she was having and picking up her phone to save your number.
You didn't receive any messages, and that was expected just over two hours after you parted. You were about to meet with the headmistress of the Nevermore Academy for your new position as the new history teacher and not having your nice suit jacket was making you nervous. Of course everything would be fine, but you wanted to make a good impression nonetheless.
When the door opened, a redheaded woman led you inside the most extravagant and tasteful office you'd ever seen. But behind the desk wasn't your new boss... seated in a fitted pistachio-coloured dress was Larissa. The beautiful stranger who spent half a flight cosily sleeping on your shoulder just hours ago.
"Y/n y/ln?" Larissa asked politely as if nothing was the bother.
"Principal Weems, I presume" you were so screwed.
"What a delight to see you again so soon" she smiled devilishly.
You were in shock, every inch of your body overjoyed and strangely aroused when a voice knocked you off your half trance.
"Wait, you two know each other?"

Shapeshifters
Wednesday Addams x Reader
Warning: not much...
Story type: multiple chapters
[A/n]: As you can see, I got over with my writer's block for Wednesday, and I am glad because some of these stories have been warming my drafts for months now. Anyway enjoy this continuation of Shapeshifters!
tag list: @simp4nat
previous chapter
Shapeshifters — were hunted down by people who were envious of their power. They made up stories and marked shapeshifters as criminals. Thousands of shapeshifters are getting killed day by day. Until it's only Hundreds of them left in hiding.
Tumblr media
As you two escaped from Enid and Ajax, Wednesday asked you about Jericho's. You told her little stuff about Jericho's, how there are no taxis around, and that the next station would be 30 mins away. Then there was complete silence between the two of you, but there's been a question lingering in her mind.
"How did you end up on that balcony?"
That made you stop walking. This made you realize she hasn't read your books or even knows anything about you. Honestly speaking, ever since you published your books, only countable numbers of Shapeshifters came out of their hiding, but their identity is still unknown to the world. Your books? They only have your initials. How did Enid know that they are your books? Probably from your mother—Principal Weems. She tends to brag about your books to students at Nevermore.
"How do you think I got up there?" You tilt your head to the side.
"I have a lot of theories, but the fact that you called Principal Weems your 'Mother', there is a chance you got her genes." Her face unfazed.
"Principal Weems isn't my biological parent. My parents died when I turned 14, but I have been with her since I was five."
Wednesday turned to you, staring at you, to elaborate on the topic.
"My parents left me at Nevermore Academy when I was five. They were friends with Principal Weems. In those times, it was hard to travel with a child who had just mastered their powers. There are always slip-ups, and they can't afford that. It will only bring harm to them and mostly to me." You turned your face away from her.
"An endangered species." She stated.
You snorted. "You could say that. I don't think there is more left of us. A lot of them are dead, and some of them are hiding pretty well."
You looked at your clock. You still need to go to the library for some research. You finally faced Wednesday.
"How about a little game? Try to find out what I am, and I'll help you escape from this educational penitentiary. What'd you say?" You try sound convincing.
Wednesday gave it a second thought, but she have you a single nod as a signal, she's in.
"Oh. By the way, you aren't allowed to ask anyone. It's not like they would know. Good day, Addams." You called after her when you hurried away in the direction of the library.
When you arrived at the library, you went through all the shelves filled with books, but none of them looked like the book that you were looking for. Then you suddenly remembered about the section that you weren't allowed to go in as a child. Only teachers were allowed to enter. Sure, the section was difficult to find for someone who hasn't been to Nevermore, but you grew up here, so you knew all the secret doors and passages. It didn't take long for you to find the hidden section. You shifted as a teacher and entered it.
You were welcomed by massive shelves filled with books to the brim. There were even books stacked up on a big oval table with chairs. You were in awe. The library shimmered in the golden hour. One book particularly got your attention. It sparkled against the sunlight, and it's inviting you to take them out of the shelf and read. When you got closer to the book, it was the one you were looking for. You took it out off the shelf with a huff because it is kinda heavy. With a thud, you laid the book on the table open. You turned page after page until you found it:
"The only known treatment against Nightshade poisoning is mainly symptomatic including gastrointestinal decontamination with activated charcoal. In severe cases, physostigmine can be used as an antidote, but it hasn't been proven to be working yet."
"Physostigmine — a compound which is the active ingredient of the Calabar bean and is used medicinally in eye drops on account of its anticholinesterase activity."
"Physostigma venenosum— the Calabar bean or ordeal bean, is a leguminous plant, Endemic to tropical Africa, with a seed poisonous to humans"
Chatting near the section got you to snap out of the reading trance and quickly closed the book, putting it back swiftly, changing into your form, and making it out again into the student's library. You didn't pay attention to anyone as you walked to your dorm, your mind occupied with the pieces of information you gathered. You're trying to connect the dots in your mind when someone bumped into you.
"I'm sorry. I didn't see you there." A redhaired woman shorter than you are, she fixed her glasses. You have never seen this woman before. Is she a new teacher? If yes, there's something off with her, and that is what your gut feeling is telling you.
"You must be, Y/N. Hi, I'm Mariyln Thornhill, the new botany teacher." She introduced herself and stretched out a hand for you to shake. "Hello, nice to mee you." You shook her hand with caution. "I should get going. I still have a lot to unpack." You quickly retrieve your hand to your side and slide your way away from her. "Y/N. Be careful. You wouldn't want to bump into the wrong person." She had this cold expression that turned into a smile. When you gave her a nod, that is when she turned around and proceeded to go on her way.
A shiver went down your spine when she disappeared around the corner. You exhaled as if you had been holding your breath for a long time. That woman is something else. Where did your mother find that woman? You thought. "There you are! I have been looking for you!" You jumped a little at the voice but exhaled as you realized who it was. "Mother. I was about to go back to my room. Unpack some of my stuff." You turn to her and was greeted with her pearly smile.
"Unpacking can wait! Why don't you come with me to Jericho's? Perhaps we could get your favorite hot chocolate at Weathervane?" She raised her eyebrows trying to persuade you. You gave it a second thought but eventually you nod and went with her.
"Addams. You're coming with me and Principal Weems for hot chocolate?" You say as you see her waiting by the service van of Nevermore. Your mother is just a step behind you. She put a hand on your shoulder. "Miss Addams has a Therapy session with Dr. Kinbott, but perhaps she would like a hot chocolate after?" She smiles at Wednesday.
"Principal Weems, this feeble attempt at bonding is beneath you and chauffeuring your students around is below your pay grade." Wednesday looked straight into her eyes. You snickered at her comment, but were silenced when your mother squeezed your shoulder. You winched a little, that made the corner of Wednesday's lips twitch a little.
"Given your history, I’m sure you’re intent on running away. I’m here to prevent that from happening." She made her way to the driver's side. "I wish you luck." Wednesday entered the passenger's seat and slammed the door shut. You took the backseat and just observe the scene in front of you.
Principal Weems took a deep breath and entered the car. The whole drive was in complete silence. You were too busy scribbling down all the information you got earlier on your little notebook. Once the car stopped, you and Wednesday exited the car. "Addams. Any progress on what kind of an outcast, I am?" You asked her before she entered the building.
"No, and I actually don't need your help anymore." She didn't wait for you to reply and just entered the building. "What was that?" You shook your head at your mother and smiled at her. "Let's go and get some hot chocolate?" You offered her your arm to take, and she took it gladly.
Not even 30 mins into the session Wednesday was already escaping. You comfortably sat in one of the booths and watch how she slid down the pipe, creeped passed your mother who was talking on the phone and swiftly entered the Weathervane. She successfully repair the coffee machine and talked to the barista named Tyler, who you met earlier, he is the sheriff's son.
How did Wednesday not notice you? You shifted. You wanted to see if she really didn't need your help to escape. You were impressed with her fighting skills. You changed back when your mother came back to get Wednesday. You saw the shock and confusion on Wednesday's face when she saw you emerge from the booth. She followed your movements with furrowed eyebrows. How could she miss you sitting there? She definitely looked around to make sure none of you had followed her there.
The whole ride back to school was your mother scolding Wednesday, and the girl was just half listening when you drove past an accident. Wednesday pointed out that the driver was dead and had a broken neck. Of course, you tried to look to see if she was right, but it was hard to see with the truck's position.
So you quickly shift your eyes to see the notes of the officers writing down. It confirms that he died because of a broken neck. You immediately shift back and furrow your eyebrows. Thinking deeply as to what powers Wednesday could have and how dark her powers can be. or is it even dark? You definitely want to find out.

Midnight Rain
(part three of ???)
-part one- -part two-
tyler galpin x gn!reader
summary - things go wrong at the Poe Cup !
tw - cursing, some violence
really minor spoilers for WEDNESDAY !
Tumblr media
You woke up bright and early the next morning. The morning of the stupid event your stupid mother was stupidly making you do. Your eyes adjusted to the light in your room, and you forced yourself out of bed so you could get into your uniform to which you’d soon change out of into a very embarrassing cat costume. Why couldn’t you be apart of say, Xavier Thorpe’s group? They got to dress as cool scary clown-jester things. Oh wait. You HAD to be in Ophelia Hall.
Well, to be honest, it didn’t matter what you looked like, since you were gonna be changing anyway.
You got yourself ready for the day ahead of you, leaving your dorm to grab breakfast. All you heard was chatter about the Poe Cup. How Bianca was probably going to win again, and how annoyed they were over it. You ignored it, you heard talk like that all the time. Bianca was just crazy talented, and in your opinion others were just jealous. She was also dating a crazy attractive dude, so she had that going for her too.
You eventually found Bianca in the Quad, sitting next to Xavier who didn’t seem very interested in whatever she was saying. His pencil furiously scribbled across his paper, his brow furrowed in concentration. Bianca’s eyes met yours and she decided to ditch Xavier, who merely nodded in acknowledgement as she stood and went over to you.
“You ready for today?” She asked, the two of you heading to an empty table.
“As I’ll ever be.” You sighed, rubbing your temples.
“Your mom make you do it again?” She chuckled.
“Yup.” You muttered, taking a sip of your drink. The coffee at Nevermore wasn’t as good as the coffee at Weathervane. “Even gave me a whole plan.”
“You’ve got the principal on your team?” She scoffed a bit and crossed her arms. “Not fair.”
“You really think I’m gonna put in all my effort?” You snorted in reply. “I don’t care as much as my teammates about winning this stupid cup. It doesn’t matter that Mom came up with the plan if I don’t give a single shit about it.”
“Well, you have a point.” She agreed, resting her cheek against the palm of her hand and glancing over to Xavier, who was still drawing away.
“…alright, spill.” You hummed, finishing your coffee. “What did he do?”
“He just got all bitchy with me this morning.” She said with a frown. “Said something about trust? I dunno, I was too tired to comprehend a lot of it.” She tapped her nails on the table.
“You think it’s cuz you’re a siren?” You inquired. “If he’s talking weird about trust. Unless you did something that I don’t know about.”
“(Y/n), you know I’d tell you. Or he would, telling you to tell me like you’re some messenger pigeon.”
“I already told him I’m done being Hermes for him.” You chuckled. “Got tired of it last fight.”
“It wasn’t a fight!” She defended, almost pouting when you quizzically raised a brow. “Whatever, but I swear I didn’t do anything to prompt it.”
“Maybe his little white boy ego is insecure for whatever reason.” You suggested. “You’ve never used your powers on him before, have you?”
“(Y/n)! You know I’d never!”
“Exactly. Then I think this is a ‘Xavier Thorpe can’t communicate’ case. Talk to him.” You shrugged, earning a sigh from Bianca.
“It’s not that easy.” She said, looking back to you. “If you were in a relationship, you’d know.”
“Uh huh. Well I am definitely not in a relationship.” You chuckled, finishing up your food. “Don’t plan to be.”
“Oh yeah?” She cocked an eyebrow, glancing to your phone on the table as it lit up. “Who’s Tyler?”
Your eyes followed her to the phone, to which a banner appeared on your lock screen, which was a message from Tyler.
“No one.” You said simply, taking your phone and putting it in your pocket.
“Oh no, now you gotta tell me.” Bianca demanded with a mischievous grin. “You talkin’ to someone?”
“He’s just the barista from Weathervane.”
“Why do you have just the barista from Weathervane’s number in your phone, hm?”
“He’s been tutoring me, I guess.”
“Just tutoring?”
“Bianca!”
“Okay okay, kidding, sorry. But seriously, the barista at Weathervane’s been tutoring you?” She questioned, sitting up as she was now fully interested.
“Yeah. That’s how I aced my homework assignment.” You chuckled.
“Isn’t he the sheriff’s son?”
You shrugged. “I dunno. Why?”
“Well, a dude named Tyler who works at Weathervane who is also the sheriff’s son destroyed Xavier’s mural in town along with some of his buddies.” Bianca said. “He was pretty upset about it.”
Weird.
Tyler doesn’t seem like the type who’d do something like that. He was so sweet to you, and always seemed more introverted. His dumb friends came into the coffee shop every once in a while, and Tyler always seemed so uncomfortable.
“Huh. I’ll mention it to him next time I see him.” You promised, before checking your watch. “We might wanna go get ready. It’s about that time.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~🛶~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“O. M. G.”
Here we go.
“(Y/n), you look so cute!” Enid squealed after you exited the tent in your black cat costume. You really hadn’t wanted to do the nose and whiskers, but Yoko pretty much forced you down.
“Don’t push it, Enid.” You sighed.
“So! You mentioned not being in the boat! What’s your plan?” She asked, a huge grin on her face.
“You’ll see.” You waved your hand. “Good luck, Enid.”
“Oh- well okay! Kick some butt, (Y/n)!” She grinned, and you gave another half-assed wave of your hand before trudging to your spot in the woods that your mother told you to wait at. Sure enough she was right.
Kent was standing there pretty awkwardly, but with anticipation. He seemed antsy.
Bianca probably came up with this one.
You stayed hidden, about ready to pull out your hair when your mom started her big long speech. It reminded you of her lectures. Finally, the cue was given to begin. You waited patiently until Kent dove into the water, and you did the same along with the item you held. He didn’t seem to notice, watching as his legs molded into a long tail.
Within about five seconds, you looked exactly like him. You shuddered at the feeling of the tail. Yuck. You clutched the net you held, taking a deep breath before darting over.
Alerted by the noise of your swimming, Kent whipped around and his jaw dropped at a copy of himself zooming towards him with a net. You swam circles around him before diving down and catching him in the net. You smiled cutely and waved, smacking his head with your newfound tail. His eyes rolled back into his head and he began to sink.
That was sort of…exhilarating.
You remembered the task at hand and swam towards the surface, looking for the canoes. You caught Bianca’s gaze, who glared and you and beckoned you over and angrily gestured to the vampire boat.
Right, you were currently Kent.
You decided to play along as to not arouse suspicion. You darted underwater over to the boat, before placing your hands on the boat and shaking. There were yelps from the vampire as their boat began to rock back and forth. You gasped as a compartment in the bottom of the boat opened and a full spear shot out. You let out a yelp and dodged, but the spear fully took out a good chunk of your forearm. You shrieked and grit your teeth, trying not to lose focus and change back into your original self.
You shot up and grabbed the side of the boat and flat out pulled it over angrily, pretty pissed that you were losing a bunch of blood from your forearm. You punched a couple vampires in the face and darted off. By the time you caught up to everybody else, they had gotten to the island. A couple people were guarding the boats, and you waited patiently from afar.
You spotted Xavier and Rowan running back with their flag. They hurriedly got into the boat and their team began to row away. Bianca soon followed, and she shouted angrily at who she thought was Kent to get them. You rolled your eyes and swam after Xavier’s boat, doing the same thing you did with the first boat. You made sure to keep an eye out for traps, not wanting to get impaled or anything.
Just as you thought, some compartments opened and curved blades appeared. They were about eight of them protruding from the bottom, all in L shapes pointing to the edges of the boat. You grit yourself teeth and carefully swam to behind the boat in hopes to slow it down.
But you forgot about one crucial thing. Or one crucial person.
The resident telekinetic.
You felt an invisible force grab you by the throat and force you up out of the water. You let out a shout and gripped at your neck, obviously grabbing onto nothing.
“Uh-!” Rowan’s eyes were wide, like he didn’t know what to do next. He looked at Xavier in a panic.
“Knock him out or something!” Xavier yelled.
Your mind raced. You needed to come up with an idea and quick. You took a deep breath and started to shift into Rowan himself, hoping to scare him enough that he would drop you. Everyone in the boat was completely stunned, and Rowan let out a shout and quickly threw you back into the water. Your head collided with the side of the boat and then…
Everything went dark.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~🌊~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When you came to, you felt your head pounding. Your ears rang as you slowly opened your eyes, which one of them also felt sore as well. The light was bright. Too bright.
“(Y/n)! Oh my gosh, you’re alive!” A loud voice exclaimed, only making your head pound even more.
“Shh!” Someone else shushed, but you could hardly see the people in front of you because of how bright the light was.
“Wh…huh?” You said groggily, your eyes adjusting to the light. There in front of you was your entire team, back in their uniforms but still wearing the cat makeup. “Guys?”
“Oh, I’m so glad you’re okay!” Enid said, not listening to whoever had shushed her. “I had no clue that was you the whole time! Xavier Thorpe said your name or something or said something about you and then we all saw you in the water!”
Oh. Right. Rowan dropped you. You being unconscious must have reverted you back to your regular form.
“Did we lose?” You asked, and Enid smiled half-heartedly.
“Yeah. Only because we stopped to go get you.”
Your heart sank. They lost because of you. You were so careless and got hurt, and they all suffered.
“Oh. Okay.” You breathed out. You knew they’d all try to reassure you, but you weren’t going to believe them anyway so what was even the point?
Then, a light clearing of the throat got the attention of everyone. There stood your mother, an almost unreadable expression on her face. Your teammates got the idea, waved to you and left. Once they cleared, she sat at the edge of the bed.
“How are you feeling, sweetheart?”
“Not great. My head feels awful.” You said honestly. “My eye kind of hurts too.”
Your eye pain wasn’t as prominent as your headache, but you didn’t think much of it as you reached up to rub it. Your mother tensed. You were confused for a split second and then you felt it. The skin didn’t feel as the rest of your body. It felt rough and uneven. It wasn’t some dry skin, either.
“Mom. Get me a mirror.” You said, feeling the rough bit of skin around your left eye. It was in a longer stripe going up and down the eye.
She sighed and fished around in her pocket and pulled out a compact mirror, handing it over and lightly putting her hand on your leg for comfort. You opened the mirror and held it up to reflect your face.
There was a scar running over your left eye. Gross and ragged skin in a line about half an inch thick and about five inches long.
“Mom…what the hell happened?” You breathed out shakily, reaching up and tenderly running two fingers along the scar.
“When Mr. Laslow dropped you off the side…you knocked your head and one of the blades sticking out from their boat…well, you can see.” She sighed. “You’re lucky your teammates pulled you out in time. You could have…drowned.” She said, her voice strained as if she were forcing them out.
“Oh my god.” You breathed out, shutting the mirror and tossing it on the bed. “And you made me do this stupid thing!”
Anger suddenly welled up inside you. You had never wanted to participate. You only agreed at first because Enid was sick, and it was unfair to her to risk losing like that. But because of your mom’s need to win, you suffered. You could have died.
“I never wanted to do this!” You shouted, relieved the infirmary was empty. You moved your leg away from her hand. “This is all your fault!”
She flinched, like she knew you were right, but she didn’t reply.
“Now I have this ugly scar and maybe even brain damage from almost drowning! I hope every time you see me you get reminded of what you did! Now get out!”
Your mother winced once more and closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. “I know that people your age says things they don’t mean.” She breathed out, standing. “I’ll let the nurse take care of you for now. I love you very much, dear.” She leaned down, planting a motherly kiss on the top of your head before walking out.
Well maybe you were a bit harsh.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~🏥~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After being looked at by the nurse for about a day, it was determined you were now suffering from mild hypoxia brain damage.
Basically, the restricted flow of oxygen being supplied to the brain had fucked up your head. Luckily, it wasn’t severe, and the nurse told you not to worry about any of the more intense side effects. She did warn you about headaches, disorientation, poor concentration, and difficulty coordinating balance. It also turns out you’d been out cold for a day when you first lost consciousness.
Great. More impairments for your grades.
The nurse let you go and you made a beeline for your room, angrily throwing the door open and shut. You sat on your bed and took some deep breaths, trying to calm yourself down and think things through. You knew your mom didn’t want anything terrible to happen to you, what you said just slipped out. You should be angry at Rowan, not her.
You were interrupted by your thoughts by a buzzing of your phone, that was oddly charging on your nightstand. You didn’t remember putting it there.
You took it off the charger and checked it. There were a lot of messages from your friends. Bianca had sent about fifty, Enid about fifty-five, and Xavier around ten. You decided you could catch up with them later. You see them like, every day.
What really caught your eye was Tyler’s name popping up. He only sent you about two messages.
Yesterday: Hey! Haven’t heard from you. Hope you won!
Today: I didn’t see you today. Everything alright?
Why did he bother texting you? You couldn’t believe he even remembered. Guess you were the star customer of Weathervane.
You quickly typed a response.
Yeah, just some injuries from the Cup. I should be back tomorrow.
You were very surprised at how fast he replied.
Oh no! I hope you’re feeling alright. Although, if you are coming tomorrow, I am off work.
Oh? That’s alright, I can just not come in.
No no no! I actually wanted to see if you wanted to grab a coffee and sit with me?
Holy shit. Holy fucking shit.
HOLY SHIT.
Was he asking you on a date?
Like…a date?
Y’know, yeah. Like a date. I’d like to get to know you more aside from tutoring
If that’s okay, of course
Holy. Shit.
✄ Please Read
Hello and welcome to my blog about women. The information on this post may change from time-to-time so please check back every once-in-a-while for new updates.
Below are some information about me and my works. If you have questions about anything (literally anything) please don't be intimidated to ask. I'll let you know if I'm comfortable with sharing said information to this post. I won't bite. I promise.
Thank you and enjoy your stay <3
✧ About me
I am the unknown writer. My pronouns are they/them. As you can probably tell by my page, it's all things sapphic.
✧ My Works
English isn't my first language so I must admit, I'm not the best writer—though I'm working on bettering it.
With that being said, I'll be proofreading all my work (mainly because I won't be able to function properly knowing that a crusty fic of mine is floating somewhere out there on the inter-webs)
This also means that feedback is greatly appreciate—especially if you happen to spot any errors in my writing. Please don't hesitate to let me know.
As someone with female anatomy, I'm unsure of how to properly portray the reader as someone who has male anatomy in smut fics. Therefore, smut with gender neutral readers I write will be written as the reader having female anatomy (this may change in the future) All characters in smut fics are of age.
I won't just be writing reader x character and I'm not against writing character x character fics. Just simply ask and you shall receive. :D
My masterlist is here.
If you would like to be added to my taglist, please comment on this post and tell me who's stories you wish to be tagged in.
✧ Story Requests
My requests are currently closed.
Requests will usually be open unless I'm extremely overwhelmed so I'd recommend you to be on the lookout. I also like to work at my own pace so I apologize if certain requests take longer for me to write.
I feel pretty comfortable writing most things. However, there are some things I will not write:
real people
hate of any kind
anything non-consensual
sweet home alabama (incest)
Otherwise, if you'd like to request, feel free to be specific in what you want (word count, gender, etc.) The default gender will be gender neutral.
I do do reader x character fics that are specifically meant for the requester so if that's something you'd like, please describe your physical and personality traits in detail when requesting.
✧ Blog Rules
I would like this space to be a place where everyone feels safe and free to be themselves.
Anyone who's being rude or disrespectful will receive a warning and if they continue said behavior, it will result in a block.
✧ Conclusion
Please let me know if you have any questions/feedback and thanks for stopping by! ❦
IF ANYTHING ABOUT MY BLOG OFFENDS YOU, PLEASE DO NOT ENGAGE.
“enid, have you ever even heard of algernon blackwood?” she shakes her head. “then how can you know you don’t like this book?”
“you saw wednesday! she was excited about this book,” excited may have been a vast overstatement of the look on wednesday’s face, “so i just know it’s scary!”
a deep sigh passes my lips, “enid, if you read this book, you can write your paper on all reasons you hate it, but just give it a shot. make wednesday read it to you, if that’ll make it more bearable,” a blush grows on the blonde’s cheeks. “now, lunch starts in 43 seconds and you’re still in my classroom, i’m starting to think you want some bonus assignm-”
“bye! see you tomorrow,” enid bursts and with that she skips down the hall. a laugh leaves me, my head dropping to my desk. i let my head smack against my desk a few times. only third period and i was already down for the count, missing my blankets and bed-side bag of red vines back in my quarters.
click, click, click, click.
“already losing battles? the semester has only begun,” my head stopped its assault on the desk. there it was, the voice that felt like espresso in the morning and lavender at night. her visits were typically for discussing lesson plans or students. sometimes it was just a friendly catching up, and other times we never spoke at all. lately it seemed to be the last two, either way she was always welcome. her presence was enough to soothe even the most frustrating days.
“i just resisted puppy-dog eyes from the enid sinclair. that’s called winning battles, principal weems,” i joke back, my head not leaving my desk. “where is my reward?”
a laugh escapes her lips, a hand sliding across my shoulders, “a great victory indeed, though i have no reward for you. would some wine tonight suffice?” goosebumps followed the path of her hand, more rose from her words.
i tilted my head back and opened my eyes to look at her, “i’m quite picky with wine, it better be worth my while.” her lips curved into a smile, her eyes rolling with humor. every time i put a smile on her face i was almost in awe. in awe that i was capable of making her, a goddess amongst mortals, smile like that.
my eyes follow her as she moves from behind me to sit on edge of my desk. her eyes looking down at me made it hard to sit still, to not stand up and trap her against the desk. i stare back up at her from my seat, watching as her eyes scan across my face, flickering down to my lips a couple times. my eyes stay on hers, too captured by them to look away.
her lips were moving, but words didn’t reach my ears. “hmm?” i let out, blinking rapidly to reset my thoughts.
“wine, darling. white, rosé, or red?” her own crimson lips were in a smirk, knowing she had distracted me by just being here. could she see how i longed for her lipstick to paint my skin? for her touch to trace those stains she leaves behind?
“red. red is good,” i couldn’t trust myself with more words, still recovering from getting lost in her, and she seemed to relish in that fact. the fact that her eyes, her voice, her touch, they were all capable of shutting me up and making me still. i wished to make her as nervous as she makes me, wanting the same butterflies that fill my stomach and the same hand that grips my heart to find her.
she stands from her perch at my desk, my face now level with her abdomen, but my eyes never leaving her face. a hand rises to my cheek, her thumb stroking it ever so lightly, “seven o’clock?”
leaning into her hand, i match her hushed tone, “wouldn’t miss it for the world, larissa.” at that she dropped my face and left, only a light pink blush across her cheeks. i smiled to myself for being able to make her blush like a nervous teenager.
it’s 6:57 and i’m running. sprinting from icarus hall as fast as possible to make it to larissa on time. 6:59 and i’m practically running through walls, sliding across the floor as i turn down hallways. the bell tower begins to ring, seven o’clock. i land in front of her door and collect myself. before my hand can even tap the door, it opens.
“am i supposed to pretend i didn’t see you run across the gardens?”
“i can always leave and walk back again if that suits you?” she laughs at my response. “you said seven. i wasn’t going to leave you waiting… but if you insist…” i begin to slowly turn away. her hand grabs gentle hold of my upper arm.
“oh just sit down, you fool,” her laugh is even stronger. my heart beats rapidly at the sound. i watch as she grabs two glasses and pours. my eyes never leaving her hands, watching as they gripped the bottle, balanced the glass stem between her fingers. i blinked quickly as she started to return to me, not wanting her to notice my staring.
she passes me a glass, fingers brushing mine in the process. the feeling of her skin was enough to goosebumps up my arm, and she was watching close enough to notice. she sat next to me, turning herself towards my direction, legs tucked under her. there was comfort in the silence between us. her eyes stayed on the fire place, bringing her glass to her lips. it was hard to pull my attention away from her long enough to take a sip of my own wine.
“does this suit as reward for your victory against puppy-dog eyes?” larissa’s voice dances around me. i could feel the weight of the question, could also feel the toying within her tone.
“for now,” i state before taking a sip of wine, looking in her eyes as i do so. a single, perfectly penciled brow raises as she cocks her head to side. her lips part, then shut again. checkmate, i think to myself.
the tables turn immediately when larissa leans forward, eyes glued to mine. i’m trapped in her gaze, i cannot move and i don’t want to. i take this chance to look at her, to truly look at her. nothing could or would ever compare to her right now, in this moment. her lipstick half gone from the day, much stuck to the rim of her wine glass. her cheeks rosy from the warmth of the fire in front of us, and hopefully the moment between us. she was pure light in my eyes, the sun and stars will never outshine her. i travel back to her eyes, they must have been crafted from the finest of kyanite crystals. she finally speaks up after a “do-i-even-want-to-know” amount of my staring.
“hi,” she whispers since she’s barely two inches from my own face.
“hey,” and i immediately want to bang my head on a wall, she’s this close and she’s all i’ve ever wanted and needed, and i said ‘hey.’
“if…if wine suffices ‘for now,’ what would suffice ‘for later’ or-”it’s there that larissa pauses, like she’s made a mistake. if this were any other moment, i’d dismiss this, but her face falls and she’s looks almost scared.
i answer the first part, “as ‘for later,’ more time with you is all i require, if that’s okay with you,” she smiles and i decide to lighten to mood more, let her decide what she wants to reveal. “about ‘or’ i’m less confident, give me a day to think about it,” i huff a laugh at my own joke while placing my wine on the table. smiling harder when i look to see she’s biting her lip to not laugh, but it proves unsuccessful.
“you’re not funny, first of all,” a finger presses to my lips as i start to protest her insult, and i bite my tongue. she pulls her finger away from my mouth as she leans to put her own glass on the table. “second, don’t mind the ‘or,’ i quite liked your first answer, more time with you is more than okay with me,” she smiles so softly in this moment i nearly melt like putty next to her on the loveseat.
moving slowly, i begin to lean closer to her. our noses brush and her breath grazes my lips. every part of me is buzzing, begging for her touch. my hand cups her cheek, she sucks in a breath but doesn’t lean away. at this, i lean more to place my forehead against hers, and i hear the breath she took in release. her hands come to rest on my neck, and my heart rate flies through the roof, she could probably feel it. the heart that beat for her only.
her hands slid to the back of my neck, her eyes look into mine, asking if she can move forward. my free hand moves to cup the other side of her face, my thumb stroking the apple of her cheek. so beautiful.
i lean slowly, leaving time for her to move. praise to the gods above because she doesn’t move, she urges forward and connects our lips. the kiss is so gentle, both of us craving the closeness. then, one of her hands moves from my neck, down to my waist. she pulls me closer to her and i nearly gasp, she uses this opportunity to move her tongue to my mouth, gentle and calculated in her movements. holding back a moan from the contact, i move one hand into her hair, the other hand’s finger spreading out, needing to hold more of her like my life depended on it.
she pushes into me more, i willingly move with her, wanting to feel the delicious weight of her against me. this only spurs both of us on, hands wander further and the kiss becomes deeper. i don’t think i could ever live a day without this ever again, without her here, half on my lap and kissing me. pulling away from her to take a breath only becomes more sweet once i open my eyes again. her lipstick is smudged a bit, her up-do now disheveled, her dress wrinkled, she was a work of art. i could only whisper to her, not wanting to ruin this moment, not wanting her to move.
“would it be selfish to ask for all of your time?”
“would it be selfish of me to accept it for all of yours in return?”
this originally ended just after the “checkmate” part but then i just kept going lol. feedback is appreciated <3
Principal Larissa Weems X GN Reader
ANGST ANGST ANGST
Warning!!: Use of Vulgar words, age gap (all beyond Legal). etc
A/N: wanna try something new, and dump this idea from my head that I kept for some time now. English is not my First language so bear with me.. Hope you'll like this. Constructive Criticism is highly encourage<3
(Expect for Typo and grammatical error)
(Word count: No Data)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You and Principal Larissa Weems's relationship is almost an open book, well to her assistant; Maria. The relationship as Headmistress and as one of the teaching staff as well as relationship behind closed doors if you can call that a relationship , after all no label was ever talked about just pleasure. A better term is Friends with benefits. Principal Weems is older than you, you got hired at Nevermore Academy just after graduation at the age of 19 years old, and now you are turning 24 years old in just few months.
Your agreement started in your 2nd year at Nevermore, you thought that your connection is getting deeper, that you realized you wanted to ask her out on a proper date. But unexpectedly, barging to her private quarters you saw her having intimate actions with the normie teacher; Marilyn Thornhill, who just got hired few months ago as Principal Weems project connected to the Outcast-Normie relations she has in mind. The scene broke you to pieces. And it seems that they didn't even saw you or felt your presence until you left in a hurry. On your way out of the office you were met by the Principal's assistant with an apologetic look, you tried to hide the pain you are feeling by showing a little smile and tried to passed by Maria but you stop and turn around and told her not to tell Larissa that you came that day. You didn't tell Principal Weems, you left her bedroom and returned to your quarters. When finally in the comforts of your own room, just after closing and locking the door, your tears started to fall one after the other. You're catching your breath, you are almost fainting of too much crying.
This is not how it was supposed to be, she is your everything, but the fact that she is fucking your co-worker, it seems that you are really nothing but a fuck-buddies, a call-thing when things gets too stressful for her or for you. She is married to her job, always wanting to climb up the ladder of success and making money for the school. Her dream for the school, for the Outcast-normie relationship, for the gifted children at Nevermore but maybe you were not in her dreams. You could only feel disappointed at that moment.
The next day Principal Weems went to your classroom after your class dismissal, asking how was your day and why'd you didn't go to her office yesterday for your nightly routine of red wine and some chitchats, and some pleasures after since it got a little stressful for the planning of the outreach day. And since you didn't need to have an invitation since her assistant already knew of their activities, also apologizing for forgetting to call you since she got caught up in a call with some of the parents of the students ( what a terrible liar you think to yourself) You only answered her with simple "Everything's under control, Principal Weems" with a cold tone, not that you intended. She reminds you to call her just "Larissa" when it's just the two of you, but you just hum in agreement. She felt the tension between the two of you but dismissed the thought as due to the stress, you replied to her that you also forgot about last night since you also got caught up grading students paper's. She tried to make amends with you and even asking if you want to go out for dinner but you declined her offer saying your excuse that you still have to prepare the examination paper for your other class, but in reality you are just too hurt to see her without remembering what you saw last night in her quarters connected to her office. It seems that her feelings for you has gone cold or just really none existent and that you will never be important to her as you once were if you ever did.
You still love her but you don't want to be in a one sided love. You blame yourself for falling for the Principal, who wouldn't? She's perfect in your eyes, no sins, untarnished, Goddess walking among mortals.
The following invitations, you keep on declining making different excuses so as not to have to time to meet with her. So you two started to drift apart, no more meetings outside work hours or even talk to each other at work only about and during weekly staff meetings. You thought that you were being strong and doing the right thing by cutting ties with her. It seems that it all did was more favorable for the Principal, days to week you never received any call from her directly only from her assistant if she needs you for something or if you will need to submit some papers, you will left the papers to Maria and fetch it again later. You don't know how, but the updates about Principal Weems keep making it to your knowledge despite not asking about it, the rumors about Marilyn and Principal Weems late night talks in her office. Marilyn sneaking out from the Principal's office early in the morning. You saw that one morning and immediately turn some corner to not be seen.
You couldn't believe your ears when you heard Marilyn, passing by outside talking to one of the parents of a student during one of your classes, saying that Principal Weems has a "Girlfriend", she just said it so casually.
You felt sick to your stomach, that you needed to vomit but you can't.
It's been months now since the last time you talk with Principal Weems alone, and without contacting her assistant; Maria first.
You didn't attend any of the faculty parties, knowing that Principal Weems will be there. You just wanted to be alone, drink some alcohol or get stoned in your own room. The other staff didn't seem to mind you becoming more introverted since that's you personality with them, and they are used to it.
You couldn't sleep that night, the memories of you two together keep coming back. You don't know why. You wanted to scream, yell, cry, break some glass, but you didn't. You just laid there in your bed. You saw your alarm clock, telling you it's 4:30 am. You decided to take a shower and after a cup of tea and some snacks, you decided to read some books that you will be asking for your students to read. You are now teaching the senior years.
It's now 7:30 am, the sun has risen high in the sky, the birds are chirping happily, but the world is a different story, for you. You just woke up in the comforts of your bed, the light of the sun is blinding, the birds are singing their songs. You got up from your bed and look at the window. You are seeing the snow covering the ground, the trees are bare and the winter wind is howling. You didn't hear it last night since your room is sound proofed, but it is quite relaxing.
You are sitting on one of the stools by the window reading one of your books when you heard your phone ringing. You quickly got up to answer it and saw it is Maria calling. You accepted the call and she said "Good morning" You greeted her back "Good morning" you can feel that she is smiling on the other line. You felt that this is going to be a good day, but you know that is just wishful thinking. "I wanted to confirm for you if you can come for our meeting at Principal Weems's office today at 1:00 pm. I am going to give you the notes of the meeting from last week" You told her that you can do that. She asked you if you have to grade papers to finish. You said yes, she asked you to make sure that you don't forget them.
"I will see you then, have a good day" you said goodbye and told her the same. You felt good to talk with Maria, she is like the sister you never had.
It's 10:00 am and you decided to make your breakfast, you made yourself scrambled eggs and toast. You ate it while reading a book. You decided to make your usual cup of tea for your coffee. You sat on the stool near the window looking outside the snow. The cold breeze is making you feel good, the quietness of the snow is soothing.
At 10:45 am you took your tea with you to your classroom to grade papers, while the other teachers were at the faculty party. You are now finished with your papers and decided to take a nap after reading your book. You went back to your room and took a shower and light lunch and prepared to meet with Maria. It's now 12:45 pm and you decided to go to the Principal's office, and the halls are empty, Maria wasn't in her desk just outside the Principal's office. You thought it is weird but dismissed it, maybe she went to the powder room and as students are attending their club activities, you contemplated to knock on the door and come face to face and alone with Larissa whom you'd never spoken with directly for the last months. You have always been in Maria's company when you are here, but now she isn't and you have no excuse to enter without being rude. You knocked and didn't get an answer, so you told Maria that you are here.
The door opened and standing there is the person you're not ready to talk with since that day, you both are looking at each other in surprise, you haven't seen each other up close for the longest time, the air became thick, you felt the tension between you. She's the first to recover from initial shock.
"Can we talk?" She asked. You said "Sure". It's now or never.
"Please come in and sit down" she said while gesturing to the sofa. You took a deep breath before stepping in the office and closing the door behind you.
You told her that you prefer to stand. She looks at you with concern in her eyes and asked "How have you been?" You just shrugged and told her that you have been fine, she looked at you for a moment before asking you, "You seem a little pale, did you had a fever?". You just told her that you're fine and the sudden movement of the school has you in a little disoriented. She nodded and looked at the table in front of you, you were waiting for her to tell you why she wanted to talk to you but she just kept quiet.
You told her that she could tell you now what she wants to say, you said you are here, she can speak and you'll listen.
"I miss you" she said, you didn't expect that.
"I know what you saw" she said as she look at you with a sad expression on her face. Even remorse?
You just remained standing not uttering any words not even showing any emotions or reaction.
She looked at you again "I know that I hurt you deeply, I did not want to hurt you, but it was necessary" you felt yourself getting angry and your patience wearing thin, she still didn't make sense to you.
"For what? What is necessary? And what you did, that was not necessary for anyone, it was unnecessary, cruel and disgusting" you said, trying to control your anger and not yelling at her.
"I know that what I did was wrong, I should have never done that to you, I wanted to explain everything but I couldn't do it to your face, but I am sorry. I don't know how many times I have to say that before you understand, but I am sorry. I shouldn't have let it happen that way and I am truly sorry" she said, you knew that she is sincere. But you are hurt, even if you really wanted to forgive her you just can't do it easily. Instead you answered her " Actually, you don't have to apologize, Principal Weems", " We just give and take what we want from each other, it's not like we are in a relationship" But deep down you really wanted more, both of you actually.
"That's not what I meant" she said while looking at you, she is getting upset with your cold tone.
"Yes, it is true. I mean, look at us, I am a teacher at the school, and you are the Principal, I mean we are from different social status, and I am sure that I don't deserve someone like you" you said, you are getting angry, "You're wrong" She said "You deserve better than this".
"You're too good for me" you said, "No, you are too good for me, you deserve someone better" she said.
You felt something is breaking inside you, it seems that the wound is getting bigger and deeper, the pain is more painful. Also get's confusing to you where this talk is heading.
"Don't say that" you said "I love you" she said "I love you too...but" you said but she interrupted you and added "...but I guess it's too late for me to make it up to you, isn't it?".
You now have tears in your eyes, emotions getting the best of you.
"I think I should leave" you said, "You know where the door is" she said with a sad expression on her face. You quickly turn around and open the door and run away. You didn't want her to see you crying.

pushing red buttons
pairing/s: larissa weems x female reader, wednesday addams x enid sinclair (established)
warning/s: not proofread so beware of grammatical errors, just larissa being an embarrassed cutie
(would try to write gn!reader fics in the future, but please do know that i mainly write feminine y/n fics :3 happy new year!)
Tumblr media
she heard murmurs, a soft chuckle, and a hand move towards her face to pull her closer. larissa felt annoyed at the interruption of her slumber, only to find the most beautiful angel in her arms with a smile. there she was, covered head to toe in nothing but the sheets and her arms to keep her warm, the rays of the sun dancing on y/n’s head and back like they were giving her a halo.
larissa smiled at the sight of her lover with her hand on her shoulder and cheek, “hello you..” she whispered into the room.
“hey beautiful.” she merely whispered back, taking in her lips with a soft lock.
y/n grinned into the kiss when her hands grabbed her hips and pulled closer, the blanket slightly sliding off their chests, leaving little to no room for larissa’s barely covered body to space with y/n’s naked skin. she sighed as y/n pulled away, her eyes never leaving the other’s face and neither did her hands on her s/c skin.
the woman found herself drawing small circles on larissa’s forearm as she played with the edge of the sheets, “do you need to work today?” larissa heard her ask.
she sighed, not one of negativity but one of content as she pulled y/n on top of her. she rests on her arms as the taller woman perches herself on the headboard.
“not today, not this weekend.” she leaned in to plant a kiss on y/n’s forehead, “why’d you ask?”
“so it’s not a bad time to ask if we could laze around?”
larissa grinned, “i don’t suppose we’re forbidden to idling around,” she inched her hands lower to rest on her lower back, leaning closer to place pepper kisses on her shoulders and collar.
“someone’s in a mood.” y/n teased, fingers dancing on her ivory skin which soon flushed with red in embarrassment and shyness.
larissa turned away, her eyes fluttering and avoided her wife’s gaze. “it’s not everyday someone wakes up to a fallen angel in her bed.”
“oh please,” the woman on top howled, “that’s a clever way for you to acknowledge my devilishness.”
“how could i not, my love?” she pulled on one of y/n’s hands to place a kiss on her knuckles, slowly inching up to her forearm, her shoulders and finally behind her ear.
“my sweet little fallen angel, oh how charming you are.”
before the said angel could respond to the praises given to her by her divinely tall other half, multiple knocks were heard on the door; four consecutive knocks followed by a short pause then another set of four knocks echoed into the silent room. judging from larissa’s sour expression, it was clear who the interruptor was.
the taller woman stared at her office door from her place in the bedroom before she reached to pull the covers on their bodies, “maybe if we stay silent, she’ll go away.” she whispered under the sheets.
y/n merely gave a breathy chuckle, “you know one of these days, you’re gonna regret disliking wednesday.”
larissa rolled her eyes, “until that day comes, i just want peace and quiet with my lovely wife.”
the knocks grew significantly louder, a muffled “i know you’re in there principal weems.” was heard from the other side of the door. y/n laughed at the sound of the young addams persistently wanting to catch their attention, definitely not at larissa’s frustrated pout.
she leaned down to place a chaste kiss on larissa’s lips, “you go on and see what she’s up to, i’ll be in the bathroom if you need me.”
as soon as she tried to get up from her place, she heard a whine escape the taller woman’s lips. her body was frozen in place as larissa kept her hold tight.
“you’re really going to leave me to deal with her consequences and not offer to let me shower with you? just how cruel are you!”
“alright, alright. how about you go talk to her and i’ll wait here on the bed instead.”
with the encouraging sound of wednesday, and apparently enid, yelling from the door, larissa finally sighed and let go of the woman’s hips. she leaned forwards to sit up, her lips on y/n’s as she blindly maneuvered her hand to grab whatever clothing was on the floor from last night’s shenanigans.
without looking, her hands moved through the smooth material and felt buttons. the buttons on the shirt she pulled now haphazardly put on, she moved to achingly leave the bedroom and quickly strided through the doorway and beelined towards the office door. larissa finally opened it to reveal two of her headaches (one not so much, just more of an accomplice) just enough not to show the open bedroom door and her legs, only her upper body.
“miss addams, miss sinclair,” she smiled in greeting, “it’s 6 in the morning, what are you two doing up and what do you want?” she didn’t mean to sound harsh, but given the circumstances, she had every right to be exasperated.
enid grinned, albeit awkwardly, “good morning principal weems! we were actually here to ask if you could drive us to jericho?”
larissa furrowed her brows, “first of all, why on earth. second, it’s too early, come back later. and third, what are you up to?”
her eyes were focused on wednesday, as if directing the questions to her. the addams girl was eerily silent, though her usual piercing gaze was ever so present. the werewolf next to her happily answered the questions, desperately trying to end the awkward staring/glaring session her principal/mom-figure and roommate were having.
“number one: there’s a major book sale ongoing at simply booked and the flea market. number two: we’d happily come back later but we’re afraid that we won’t reach in time since the store closes earlier during weekends. and third, we plan on having a date at the diner afterwards.”
wednesday finally spoke, “it’s not a date, it’s a brainstorming session about our chosen novels over coffee.”
“same thing!” enid bickered. larissa found her glare softening, if anything she saw both y/n and herself at the two.
“alright,” she sighed, “come back in two hours. the bookstore doesn’t close until 4 and you’ll have more than enough time to do what you want without breaking the rules. now please, go back to your dorm.”
larissa received a thank you and a nod from the pair, sighing deeply and moving to close the door. except she didn’t, she froze. the voice of wednesday piercing the comfortable silence.
“i didn’t think you liked wearing red silk shirts, principal weems.” she tilted her head in curiosity.
the principal gave a soft “what?” and peered down, before groaning and blushing softly. she was right, it wasn’t common for larissa to wear anything but gray, silver, and white. the splash of color was so obvious, no wonder wednesday was so eerily silent earlier.
“i.. y-yes.” larissa cleared her throat, “i was thinking of adding color to my wardrobe and red seems like a fitting choice.”
the girl merely hummed a response, giving the principal one last look over before catching up to her roommate.
larissa found herself stumbling behind the door, hurriedly closing it and resting herself to deeply breathe in and out. her hands slowly inched to feel at the fabric on her body, how she failed to realize that she was wearing something brilliantly bright was beyond her. pulling the fabric closer by the collar, she sniffed. the scent of cedar wood and jasmine tea filled her senses and concluded her suspicions, the smell itself made her automatically walk towards the conjoined bedroom.
peacefully did her wife sit, reading a physical copy of dracula with her upper body shining underneath the sunlight, barely covered with the thick, dark gray duvet. y/n moved her face to look at the source of sound, her eyes lagging behind to finally take a good look at her wife.
“oh dear lord,” she stifled her laughter with her hand, the book now discarded on her lap.
the tall principal was standing there, her face as red as the shirt she was wearing with her long, ivory legs out for display. she grumbled, her face in her hands as she moved closer to the bed and plopped on it.
her hands moved to cover herself from the harsh cold of the morning and pulled her still laughing wife into her arms, “not a word.”
y/n, who was now holding a hiding larissa, guffawed. “wednesday pointed it out, didn’t she?”
“i said,” larissa peeked her head from the duvet and covered y/n’s smiling mouth with her hand, “not. a. word.”
y/n merely laughed harder at her words.

all bark, some bite - l.w.
pairing: larissa weems x gn!reader (no pronoun or name use for reader)
summary: parents’ weekend is a time of stress, especially when an addams is now a student, and her mother and the principal have a fun little history behind them
warnings: fully using morticia as a plot device (sorry tish baby i luv u), suggestive ending
note: i have no idea what happened to this fic
Tumblr media
the closer parents’ weekend grew, the more antsy larissa became. she typically has gone over every little detail three, four, five times by now. every year she takes great consideration into everything, wanting the parents to see the nevermore in all her glory, down to having every knickknack in every common space dusted and polished to perfection. but this year felt different. the tension in her shoulders was tighter this year, her pacing more pointed, her sleep dwindling by the day, and if none of this was enough, the now eight rechecks of plans was starting to look a little crazy.
when the day arrived, she was somehow more tense than she had been for the last two weeks. usually once the day began, she had been confident and excited, but today, she fiddled with her wedding band nonstop, watching as parents arrived and greeted their children.
walking up beside her, i lean in so my voice only reached her, “everything looks great, baby, relax a little bit. the students look happy, the schedule’s fun, you look stunning as always, everything’s in order.”
“you have got to stay close by me at all times,” is all she says.
“as much as i would love that, i have to be in my classroom to answer parent questions for the first couple hours. but, i would love to sneak in a visit my favorite girl,” i smile to her, pressing my lips to her clothed shoulder, and i can see some tension reduce a little.
“i will be holding you to your word on that,” she grabs my hand, pressing a kiss to my knuckles. i pull her hand to my own lips, returning the favor, not missing the way her eyes light up.
in their mini tours, many of my students brought their parents to my classroom. most got a full report of the class from their children, meaning i was just there to deliver pleasantries, admittedly spruce up the behavior of some students when parents asked, and accept compliments on my book collection.
tall floor to ceiling bookshelves covered the west-facing wall of my room, a rolling ladder allowing me to reach the very top shelves. the top shelves were reserved for only the greatest of my collection, the rare and beautiful ones. books the students enjoy were closer to their reach, the ladder being a no-go for any of them. i always kept books larissa loved at her own eye-level, she had yet to notice it was on purpose, so her little excitement was a special treat whenever she gazed at the shelf.
after two hours of meetings that ended with a lively conversation with eugene’s moms, i thought i would finally be able to retreat back to wherever larissa may be. as i started to head out the door when a familiar, dark presence blocked my path to the hall.
“hello, wednesd-”
“principal’s office, now.”
“i’m doing great, thank you so much for asking wednesday,” i say monotonously, “and why am i so kindly being summoned to the principal’s office?”
“i’m saving her, and by proxy, you, a headache,” and she leaves. a hefty dose of ‘no context’ from wednesday addams, no day is complete without it anymore.
i make my way to larissa’s office, knocking gently before peeking my head in, “riss?”
“darling, what are you doing here?” she asks as she moves from her desk and makes her way over to me, both hands grabbing mine, pulling me closer.
“wednesday addams. she sent me here to ‘save you and myself a headache,’ whatever that means,” i say with a shrug, placing a sweet kiss to her cheek.
“i hope we don’t find out,” her hands moving, arms wrap around my waist, my own going around her neck.
“me neither. a nice, headache free day sounds phenomenal,” i say while adjusting the chain of her necklace, “how has your day been, my angel?”
she lets out a deep breath, “probably about as interesting as yours so far, but i would say it’s much better now,” she finishes her sentence with a short kiss to my lips.
i hum in agreement, and just as i go to pull her back in, there’s a knock as the door. we jump apart before larissa calls for whoever knocked to enter. the door opens, and i see a woman, dressed in a long, black gown enter the room. she’s smiling with adoration at the shorter man next to her, love for the woman evident in his gaze.
larissa’s eyes widen as she freezes in place. this is what she had been dreading, morticia addams.
the woman looks back towards the room, “larissa!”
“morticia! lovely to see you.”
ah, the headache, i think to myself, just as she begins to approach me. wednesday looks more homicidal than usual, and i can’t help but share the feeling.
“why hello there, morticia addams,” she sticks her hand out for me to shake. before i can introduce myself, she speaks again shutting me down, “and this is gomez, my husband,” gomez grabs her hand, kissing up her arm, muttering terms of endearment in spanish, “and my son, pugsley.”
“well, it sure is certainly nice to meet all of you,” my smile is fake, but morticia doesn’t seem to notice the insincerity, so i continue, “wednesday is fantastic in my literature of the macabre class. she has been at top of my class since she started, which has not been unexpected.”
i almost feel as if i’m bragging about how well my own child is doing in class, and i can see as larissa smiles softly at my words.
“that is fantastic to hear, our little viper is a master of the macabre,” gomez praises his daughter, the action making wednesday scowl harder, but making me smile slightly.
the addams’ sat across from larissa, i stood to larissa’s right, offering her support with my presence. discussions of wednesday’s academics and extracurriculars continued for a little bit. i stayed quiet for most of it, happy to be with my wife, also hoping i could be a buffer between her and morticia. i had been filled in, well before we got married, about how cruel morticia was to larissa later in their academy years. i also stayed for wednesday, who wouldn’t admit that she needed someone else in her corner when her parents were around. all conversation came to sudden halt when morticia let out a gasp.
“how could i have not seen that? larissa, you never mentioned you had gotten married,” she grabs larissa’s left hand, pulling it close to look at her ring. a shudder moves down my back at the contact.
“it wasn’t relevant the last we spoke, and before that we hadn’t seen each other since we graduated, so why when would i have said anything?” larissa is calculated in her response, letting me know this interaction had been something of worry to her.
“goodness, when did this happen? must not have been long ago, or else i would’ve heard, i’m sure,” morticia responds, and i almost laugh at her certainty.
“it’s been seven years as of september, as a matter of fact. and we were together for five years before that. it was a very private ceremony, we only had our closest loved ones in attendance,” larissa answers as she pulls her hand back, looking at her ring with a soft smile, a light blush painting her cheeks at the memory. i bite my tongue to hide my own smile.
“private ceremony, private answers, not even a photo in here larissa,” morticia gestures around the office, and the anger in me grows slowly.
“with students, staff, faculty, parents, and even law enforcement regularly in my office, i would rather not have my personal life on display. what’s mine is private,” she says the last part lowly, a warning to morticia that she must tread lightly, but her tone ignites a fire in the pit of my stomach.
this warning is noted by a raised brow, but is violently ignored when she looks larissa in the eye with a pathetic frown and says, “please don’t tell me you settled?”
larissa’s face immediately grows dark, her hands flattening against her desk, she starts to rise out of her seat. to avoid a small war in the middle of the office, i take a step forward and speak in her place, “i believe ‘settling’ is more of a subjective concept,” my eye contact is sharp and unwavering, “in my opinion, she most definitely did settle, outrageously settled. but from her words, at the very least, i would say she does not share the same sentiment as i do,” the emphasis on ‘very’ has larissa’s head whipping my way at the innuendo, “some would say marrying your high school sweetheart is settling, but i’m not one to judge,” pugsley snorts, wednesday’s eyes shoot to him in a playful manor, clearly enjoying this just as much,“well, not one to judge often, as my mother used to say, ‘everyone has a taste, whether or not they should have be pickier is up to the heavens.’ quite the phrase, don’t ya think?”
morticia’s mouth shuts immediately, her eyes shooting to larissa’s to ask for help. she has nothing to offer her former roommate, other than holding back her own laughter.
“anyways, i should be on my way, poetry club meeting starts in 30 minutes, and i have to get the room set up for the parents,” i say with a smile towards the addams. “it was lovely letting you mister and missus addams, you too pugsley. i will see you in class next week, pretty please remind enid to read the chapter, do not give her the gist of it,” i point to wednesday as i speak, “and you,” i turn to larissa, “i will see you at home,” i kiss the top of her forehead to end my goodbye, my left hand on her shoulder, matching wedding band on display.
i pat her shoulder once more before walking towards the door, i turn to look at her, right as i’m about to close the door and blow her a kiss. she smiles softly and rolls her eyes at my antics.
“anything else you would like to discuss?”
— — — — —
my day, thankfully, ended after the poetry club meeting. a side road only a couple miles past the campus gates brought me to a dark green, two story house with brown trim. a wrap porch with vines growing up after years of free roaming, but neat from snipping and reshaping them when they got unruly. this wasn’t just some house, it was the home larissa and i now shared.
getting home, my shoes slid off before i even unlocked the door. keys were on the hook, bag on the seat by the door, jacket on the peg, shoes thrown on the floor. i make my way go our bedroom, purposefully going to her closet for a sweatshirt, grabbing a light grey one, and a pair of my own sleep shorts from my top drawer.
larissa comes home silently while i was a focusing on not burning the vegetables in the pan. she follows a similar pattern to me, only neater and quieter. i don’t notice her presence until i’m adding the vegetables to the sauce, and two long, pale arms wrap around my middle. i continue my task with her draped around me, stirring the vegetables in, spinning the spice rack in search of oregano and red pepper flakes.
“you are trouble” i laugh at her opening line, “at the very least, huh?”
“children were present, and in my defense, those particular ones have definitely heard much worse from those horn-dogs,” i say like it’s nothing, making her laugh this time. “and you’re one to talk. ‘what’s mine is private’? good lord, riss,” i jokingly fan my face, and she laughs harder.
“i stand by my statements,” she pinches my side, “especially the one where i disagree with you on me settling. i don’t settle, if i wanted to i could’ve long ago, but i waited for the right person and found you,” she whispers the end into my ear.
“and look at you now, with a much better last name,” i add the noodles to the sauce, “could’ve been missus larissa antoinette weems-fru- LARISSA!” i squeak as a hand smacks against my ass, laughing immediately.
“don’t even start, gods you even brought the middle name into it,” she laughs with me, her head resting against my shoulder.
i pick up a sauce-drenched noodle on a spoon, raising it to her lips, she gladly takes the bite, groaning happily at the taste. biting back a comment about the noise, i start to prepare dishes to serve on. larissa stays glued to my back, following each of my steps around our kitchen.
“i may need you around for more parent-principal meetings, especially ones involving… particularly difficult cases,” larissa says into my neck, avoiding the use of morticia’s name, as if it would summon her if spoken.
“you name the time and place, i’ll happily be wherever you need me. i can be like your guard dog,” i laugh a little at the notion.
“perhaps a ‘beware of dog’ sign outside my office may be needed,” she jests as she pulls away to set the table.
with dinner finished, and a bottle of wine later, larissa and i lay on the couch together, my fingers weaving through her hair as her head rested on my chest, her hands wandering every now and then from my abdomen, down my legs, and back up. i scratched my fingertips against her scalp, a noise just short of a purr comes from the back of her throat. we stay in this silence for a while, relaxing from the day, knowing tomorrow still had a slim chance to be incident free. loving her and being loved by her was all there was at this moment.
her head raises from my chest, i also pout at the loss of the comforting weight against my chest. tired, larimar eyes find mine, and i feel my heart skip a beat, her beauty has never failed to surprise me. someone like her, someone this beautiful, chose me.
she stares a little longer before sweetly saying, “you’d make a horrible guard dog,” and my jaw drops slightly, i’m utterly gobsmacked. i had been expecting a loving comment, or even a lustful one, not whatever this was.
i look at her for another moment before gathering my thoughts. i piece together the only thing that feels right to say at a time like this, “what the fuck?”
“you’re awfully cute, darling. i don’t think they’d find you scary,” she leans down to kiss the middle of my chest through my (her) sweatshirt, then looking back up at me. she made a point, i was not nearly as intimidating up front as she was.
larissa was intimidating just to look at. she’s gorgeous, tall, and clearly professional. she could talk her way out of anything, and just as easily talk her way in, just with her wit. all of this, this perfectly sculpted image, could be brought down by a little beetle crawling on the wall. a beetle i would be called in to crush, but instead would end up being guided onto a paper towel and released back into nature.
“well, they’d be mistaken then. and apparently so are you. you’d think my own wife would know me better,” i scoff, but the smile on my face betrays the feigned attitude. she laughs, and smile grows wider and wider. “i’ll let this insult on my character slide, only because of the wine, and definitely not because i love you so much,” i continue, and she groans playfully.
she puts her head back down on my chest, arms giving me a squeeze, “i love you more, and seriously though, thank you for being there today. and just so you know, for the rest of this weekend, you are not leaving my side.”
i chuckle, “as if i could even dream of it,” wrapping my arms around her snugly, “you know stuck with me forever, you’re the one who put a ring on it,” i pepper the top of her head in kisses as she tries not to laugh.
her head nudges up, she buries herself in my neck. i hide my own face in her soft hair, inhaling her scent. i feel her lips pressing along the column of my throat, moving upwards. little nips marked the trail to my jaw, kisses as she moves to the side more. one final tug of my earlobe by her teeth brings me back to full attention. her voice lowers, “how about i show you at the very most how much i love you?”
bit of a longer fic to make up for the lack of them in the last week. feedback is, as usual, appreciated greatly :)

Brienne of Tarth
Tumblr media
“My Lady, I cannot possibly accept this…” Brienne nervously explains.
Her blush evident at the small yet beautiful pendant necklace you had given her.
“No, Ser Brienne, I insist.”
Brienne looked down to the gold heart with ‘B + Y/Initial’ inscribed on it. She looked down and met your gaze, tears of joy welling up in her eyes.
“I have never been given something so remarkable…” she spoke, her voice faltering.
Now it was your turn to blush. Brienne placed the pendant on her heart.
“I shall cherish it with all my heart, my Lady…” she whispered, a tear of love escaping her eye.
Ser Brienne then leaned down and placed a kiss on your cheek. Your cheeks were ablaze with fusia. The woman then left your tent as to not arouse any suspicion.
“I will love you Ser Brienne, Always and Forever…” you mutter, tears of joy escaping your own eyes, which you we’re quick to wipe away as to not arouse any suspicion.

Larissa Weems
Tumblr media
You had planned on giving it to her after dinner. It was your one year anniversary of you two being together, and you had the whole evening planned out.
But as you entered the blonde’s office at Nevermore, you tripped and out fell your surprise. Luckily, Larissa was nimble and quick to help you up, but she immediately noticed the blue jewelry box. Your eyes widened as Larissa went to pick up the box, staring quizzically back at you.
“And what do we have here…?” She playfully purred.
You blushed.
“It was supposed to be a surprise for after dinner…” you muttered.
The blonde eyed you with her signature mischievous, glistening look that she always gave you when you’d been caught doing something. But as she went to open the box, her her eyes widened and her jaw dropped.
Inside was a silver necklace with an infinity symbol and two silver circles, each engraved with your and Larissa’s initials…
“Do you… Do you like it…?” You hesitantly asked.
Finally, Larissa’s gaze met yours again. Her eyes shone with radiance and love, and a small water line was threatening to spill from her eyes.
“I… I love it…” she whispered, looking back at the necklace and then back to you.
“Will you help me put it on?”
Your face lit up at her positive reaction and you nodded lovingly. You took the jewelry piece and hung it around her cream, poised neck, clipping it in the back with ease. You stood back to admire your ease, but Larissa started to come forward.
“What are you—”
Your words were cut off by Larissa’s soft lips connecting with yours. A small sigh left your lips, which Larissa happily swallowed. After a minute, you both pulled away slightly. Larissa’s hand was fidgeting with the necklace.
“Always and Forever…?” She whispered, staring you down intently and lovingly.
“Always and Forever.” You whispered back, ghosting your lips against hers once more.

Miranda Hilmarson
Tumblr media
Her eyes immediately started welling up with tears of joy as you presented two necklaces, one with Miranda’s initials and one with yours.
“Now we’ll always be with each other.” You cooed with a loving smile.
“I love them…” Miranda chocked out, tears now running down her face.
“Oh Babe, I didn’t mean to make you cry…” you cooe.
Suddenly the tall blonde pulls you into her tight embrace. She hugs you tightly with love. You instantly relax in her arms, until she’s squeezing you to death with (literally and figuratively).
“Babe… can’t breathe…” you gasp.
A flood of concern washes over the blondes face and she immediately loosens her hold on you.
“Sorry…” the blonde whispers, blushing softly.
“All good, babe…” you cooe.
“Luv you.” Miranda murmered into the crook of your neck.
“Love you too, Babe…” you cooe.
“Always and Forever…?” She vulnerably mumbles.
“Always and Forever, babe.” You reassured the tall, short haired blonde.

Lucifer Morningstar
Tumblr media
You approached the Lightbringer as they stood tall on their balcony, gazing over their domain.
“Master…?” You whimpered, not wanting to interrupt or anger them.
“What is it, Little one?” They hum, still viewing the vast land of hell.
“I… I made something for you…”
At this, the Lightbringer turned their head to your small frame.
“Oh? And what might it be…?” They ask.
You hold your hand out and open your fist to reveal a piece of metal, a homemade, refined pendant with their initials inscribed on it on a simple chain.
“I made this for you… As a reminder of who you are, that you aren’t what God has deemed you to be…”
“Thank you, little one.” They say, taking the piece.
You nodded and left the throne room. Only when you had gone did Lucifer alike themselves to smile and blush at the thoughtful gift you had given to them.
And since then, whenever Lucifer went out, they always wore your necklace. It would always bring a smile to your face when you caught a glimpse of it under their garments at a meeting or in the throne room.
Only later on did the Lightbringer realize that their was a back inscription: Always and Forever.
~~~
Captain Phasma
Tumblr media
You knew it was a bit cheesy. But you couldn’t help yourself. And when Phasma saw it, she stared at you speechlessly.
“A key?”
“It’s not just a key…” you explained, “It’s symbolic, you see it has my initials on it, and it’s supposed to mean that you are the key to my heart…”
“God, that’s so cheesy…” Phasma chuckled.
You bit your lip nervously.
You knew she wouldn’t like it…
But as you went to take the necklace back, Phasma swiftly moved her hand aside.
“I like it.” She decisively stated.
You blushed.
“Good.” You chirped.
The next week, Phasma came up to you with a small box. You looked at her curiously and opened the box. It was a lock with her initials on it, connected to a chain.
“Just a reminder that you belong to me and that I alone have the key to your heart, body, and mind…” she husked und your ear.
Now you really blushed. You nodded.
From there on the two of you always wore the necklaces underneath your uniforms. It was your promise to each other. Always and Forever.
Screw your roommate, I'll show you a good time
When the girl from the room beside yours brings her boyfriend to spend the night, you cannot comprehend how someone can have such a good time they'd scream like that. Forced to leave your room and look for somewhere else to spend the night, you end up on the comfortable sofas in the library's reading nook, only to find that somebody was already there. And, wow, that girl is so pretty but wait, she's one of your dorm neighbours, isn't she?
You have listened absolutely enough of Morticia Frump's moans. Who were you to judge the girl for living her best life, but did she have to voice her appreciation so loudly? You could NOT take any more of it. If you heard another "ah" or "oh", you would unhesitatingly take your own life.
Marching down the Nevermore halls with a pillow under one arm and a thin blanket around your shoulders like a cape, you looked for the farthest place you could get from Ophelia Hall to spend the night. After fumbling and bumping against iron armours you got to the library; with any luck, you could sleep in the comfy sofas by the reading nook. Since it was past midnight, the spacious chaise lounge by the big window would be free, and you could romanticize falling asleep under the moonlight all you liked.
However, it seemed not even in the ungodly hours of the night you could relax on the highly disputed seat. Someone, a rather long-legged girl was seated there, reading... IN THE MOONLIGHT. Jesus, not even your aesthetics were only yours in this school.
"You'll need glasses if reading in the dark is your hobby" you approach, spooking the girl, who quickly shut her book and looked at you.
Oh, she was very fine indeed, with the silvery light making her hair into a halo of white-blond locks; you had seen her around the corridors a few times.
"Not a habit," she relaxed upon realizing you weren't a teacher "Just needed a place to stay for a while" the disgust on her face was obvious, and you thought rather cute as well.
"Well, we're in similar situations, then. I can't stay at my dorm at the moment"
"Tell me about it" gosh her eye roll and sassy smile did something to your legs.
You went to the lounge, testing the waters. She folded her legs so her knees were against her chest for you to sit. You smiled and threw your pillow and blanket on the seat before dropping on top of it.
"So your dorm neighbours are partying?" you laughed at her fed-up huff.
"My roommate and her boyfriend. I just can't understand why they never give it a break. It's as if they're under a spell! If they look the other in the eye you better hurry out or you'll see things you wish you hadn't"
Well, that was a lot. You were still laughing when she realized her outburst and reddened, opening her book again to avert your gaze.
"Sorry, that was a bit too much..."
"No, it's fine, really," you reassured her, crawling to sit beside her in the bed-like chaise "I have these dorm neighbours that are so loud I cannot understand how the principal hasn't called them yet for indecent behaviour"
"Yes! Jesus Christ, I thought it was only me. My roommate is impossible, like I get that she's madly in lust with her boyfriend but you don't need to rub it in my face Morticia!"
Hang on a second. Morticia? Was she...? And then you realized. Being a year older, you didn't have any classes with the girls next dorm, but you were pretty sure that was the cute perfect-student roommate of Morticia's.
"Wait, what? Are you the Weems girl? The one from the talent show?" her blush was oh so very becoming.
"Fuck, I didn't mean to say that...." she buried her face in her hands against those high knees like a toddler playing hide and seek.
"No! I loved your Judy Garland, really impressive for such a young shapeshifter" she laughed bitterly still enclosed in the prison of her limbs.
You gently put a hand on her back, trying to coax her into looking up by pulling one of her arms slowly. She did, and the disappointed frustration on her face left you missing the sassy smiles.
"I'm being genuine. I heard you're the best student in your year. Didn't you start a book club to help the guys read Mr Loras' books last semester?"
She looked doubtful, but let you have it anyway. She didn't have the energy to argue at this point.
"I did. But nothing I do really stands out when your roommate is Morticia Frump" she shrugged.
"Are you kidding me? I know Morticia's cool and all, winning the Poe Cup or whatever, but you are the one teachers mention when someone complains about class. It's annoying actually because they point out that this girl a year behind us knows stuff we haven't even learned while we can't be assed to read a textbook."
At that, you saw a glint of smugness in her eyes, and the tiny corner smile she didn't realize was gracing her face made something warm pool in the pit of your stomach.
"I'm exhausted" she changed subjects, averting your eyes one more time "do you think they're finished by now?"
You forgot she wanted to go back, and suddenly the prospect of spending the night chatting up Morticia's exasperated roommate was robbed of you. You could not deny she was nice and funny. The stress tightening her shoulders made you want to give her a massage while she complained about all the things you could bet she bottled up that bothered her. You would happily spend the night just basking in the warm presence of the girl if offered, so you wouldn't just let her go without a fight.
"Do you want to risk going back and seeing them sleeping together? Or worse... not sleeping yet?" you arched your brow in what you hoped was a convincing disgusted expression. It wasn't difficult since you were actually SO DONE with those two.
"I guess not..." she looked out the window, contemplating the school towers against the big full moon "Do you mind if I stay here too?"
"Hey, you were already here. I should be asking if I'm allowed to stay" you winked and for god's sake she had to stop blushing so prettily.
"You are the one with the pillow and blanket. I was just going to read a bit and go back" a shiver ran through her body then, making the hairs in her arms stand "Actually... would you mind sharing the blanket? I'm a bit cold."
There it was, your shot, your one-in-a-lifetime chance to have her pressed to your side. Jesus, could you be more of a creep? What the fuck.
"Yes, no problem at all. You can keep it, for tonight I mean; I'm not that cold."
There, less creepy. The blanket was still going to smell like her though... shut up!
"Nonsense. The blanket is yours, c'mon I won't bite you" she moved close and covered you both. I wish you would bite. FOR FUCK'S SAKE STOP.
"Thanks... you're sweet" at that she just gave you a strange look, but didn't comment "So, what were you reading?"
You spent some time talking about books and assignments, music (which you had the same taste on), movies and all manner of things. After a while, Larissa became comfortable enough to recline against you and bitch about how Morticia wasn't the absolutely perfect female specimen everyone seemed to agree she was, and you were in heaven. You sensed a bit of envy, or maybe it was something else, a darker craving she wouldn't talk to anyone about, you even less being practically a stranger.
"I bet you could beat her if you tried" you commented when she was telling you a story about Morticia's first appearances at the debate club.
"I don't bother trying anymore. At the end of the day even if I win everyone still likes her better, and that's ok, I guess" she had her head against your shoulder. Sometime in your last hour of conversation, you both had slipped into a laying position "She's just beautiful and charming like that. Everyone loves her" she seemed more resigned than alright with her comment and that could not stand.
"I don't think that" ok, what were you doing? "I think you're way more charming than her"
She snorted and lifted herself on her elbow to look at you with an amused face.
"Oh really? Of course, you're not saying that just because I'm the one here and not Morticia, right? If it was her you would say 'oh, no, I think your tall roommate is way cooler than you'" she mock-mimicked you and laughed as if it was funny that you tried to "fool her."
"I would!" you could not believe this girl. She was so good, nice, and cute and Jesus, she even had the sarcastic sense of humour you would kill for in a friend... or more than a friend "You are dazzling, your taste in music is banging and you sassed the hell out of me for having a crush on Jamie Lee Curtis, what's there not to like?"
She was silent for a second. Her shell-shocked expression making you self-conscious about having said too much. You were weighing your options between slowly retreating and full-on running away like a blushing eleven-year-old when she leaned down and kissed you.
Well, that was certainly nice.
Her lips were soft and slightly unsure. You weren't helping too by being shocked motionless, and she was almost breaking the kiss to apologize when your brain finally worked and you cupped her head, bringing her into an open-mouthed enthusiastic kiss.
She tasted divine. The faint trace of strawberry lip balm mixing with the freshness of her toothpaste was intoxicating. She made soft sounds against your lips and straddled your lap to tower over you. Her hands forcefully burying themselves in your hair while she rocked her hips against yours.
You were ecstatic. The most gorgeous sophomore in the school was grinding and panting in your lap, your hands bruising her hips with the need to feel her close, the wetness between her legs sullying your pyjama bottoms when she suddenly stopped, looking you with lust-filled eyes and an unreadable face.
"I don't think we should be doing this here," she said matter-of-factly, panting from the exertion.
You gave her a cheeky smile, an idea passing through your mind.
"What do you think of giving your roommate a run for her money? I'm sure I could help you wake her up"
She smiled, biting her swollen bottom lip before running her tongue through it.
"I think she could hear what real fun sounds like" and with that, you both were off to your bedroom, blanket and book forgotten by the lonely window.
Her scent
The thing you loved most in the entire world was definitely Larissa’s scent. Floral _you could distinguish orange blossom, jasmine, wisteria, and violet_ lingering on everything she ever touched, strong yet soft, but mostly, it was hers. It marked her belongings. The fragrances tinted the air of her home, like the first layer of a painting that would represent her. They covered her clothes, softly, almost unperceivable after being washed, but your nostrils were used to recognise them anywhere, and when you buried your face into the fabric, they wrapped you. They were hidden behind her doors, in each box or case, and would jump to your face whenever you would open one of them. They were scattered in her garden, between the orange tree, the jasmine bushes, the wisteria trellis arches, and the violet flowerbed. They anointed your skin, smeared by the so often wandering of her hands on your body, as the glorious elder of Larissa’s sacred heart, and even with no ring of the Fisherman, no tiara, no believers, you felt like a blessed priest when you were on your knees to worship her. It was her scent. It was her perfume. It was her very essence, in its little stained glass bottle, looking like liquid amber.
The bottle itself was one of the most beautiful things you ever saw. It was small, and had this beautiful very pale orange colour, so much so that the liquid inside was reminiscent of whisky. It had the shape of a sphere, a perfect sphere without any prominent line, testimony to the manufacturer, a sphere that had been cut at the bottom, for it to stay still, without falling on the floor, without cracking the cold shell and spilling the precious odorant fluid on the parquet, that would be stained by the fragrance, and that would have to be cleaned very carefully, for every little glass diamond to be removed, so as not to make this crime scene any worse. And if this glass bottle fell, the scent would probably stay forever on your floor, seeping into the rings of the wood, and staying here, like an old dog waiting for its master to come back. But if the bottle fell, no master would come back, and the old dog would die alone.
.
You had smelled this perfume for the first time at the Weathervane. This day was engraved so deeply in your memory, you knew nothing could ever erase it. And you already imagined yourself, old and wrinkled, forgetting your own name but not this day. It was Tuesday, the 17th of May, and you were in the Weathervane after your first day at your new job as a florist. You remembered this day was soft. It was sunny, and a little bit of wind was caressing the trees of the park. The rays were warming the table of your booth through the clean window. The door opened and the perfume flooded the room. The floral perfume, in which you automatically distinguished orange blossom, jasmine, wisteria, and violet, so strong but so soft, and which would linger in your mind so long after she would come out. But you didn’t know it yet. All that you knew then was that you liked it.
Then she appeared in the sunlight. A divine apparition. An angel, a muse, a goddess. A tall, tall woman, with white, white hair, blue, blue eyes and a pale, pale skin. Her silver locks were perfectly pinned on her head, catching the evening gold light. You had held your breath, jaw agape, incapable of pulling your eyes out of her. She didn’t seem to notice you, although you weren’t discreet at all (you couldn’t even imagine being, your brain was focused on her and on nothing else). She was wearing a green dress with a matching green coat, and her hips swayed so deliciously as she was walking towards the waiter to order _your ear might or might not have heard she ordered a hot chocolate_. Takeaway. Her red lips twitched in a beautiful smile, and your whole body tensed. You wanted her to smile at you, not at that waiter. It was stupid, yes. You didn’t know her. And yet… And yet you couldn’t help but stare. She waited a couple of minutes during which you could detail her whole body. Her feet caught in those high-heeled shoes, her long legs in those tights, her dress under which you could guess the relief of the fat that hid her belly, creating this little shadow, the little bumps that made by her breasts, her cleavage revealing her collarbones, the golden necklace she wore, her hands in those black gloves, her long neck that would be the perfect refuge for the night, her so kissable lips, the creases that appeared when she smiled, her little nose, and those ocean blue eyes that were… looking right at you.
Your face went tomato red and you looked away, trying to concentrate on the coffee that was cooling in front of you. You had been caught staring. You tried to regain composure by taking out your phone, pretending you were writing to someone or something else. To be perfectly honest, you weren't sure what you were doing yourself. You could still feel her gaze on you, and it made you shiver.
“Larissa,” the waiter called.
“Yes,” the woman, Larissa, replied in her heavenly voice, walking towards him to take her hot chocolate.
You had a name to put on this pretty face. “Larissa,” you whispered, taking a little time to appreciate the very substance of the sounds on your lips. The “La” seemed to be withheld in your mouth, the “ri” was pleasant, like singing, and the “ssa” was escaping your lips so fast you couldn’t believe her name was already over. You heard her paying and then she passed in your visual field, heading out of the Weathervane. You looked at her again, from her back.
The door closed.
She had disappeared, but her perfume was still lingering in the room, in your nostril and your head.
.
The next day, you were sitting in the very same booth. You had paid particular attention to your appearance that morning, hoping perhaps to bump into Larissa (who didn't yet know your name) at the Weathervane after you'd closed the shop. You had almost finished your coffee, but you wanted to wait, to be sure you didn’t miss her. So you waited for a few minutes, watching the sun sinking on the horizon when the door opened and the scent invaded your nose. Orange blossom, jasmine, wisteria, and violet. She smiled at you as she passed your booth, and ordered her hot chocolate. On the spot. You heard her heels heading towards you. At first, you thought she was going to sit in the booth behind you, but she continued. Your eyes were glued to your nearly empty coffee as she stopped next to you.
“Is this seat taken?” she asked, pointing to the bench seat in front of you with her finger.
“Y-yes, I-I mean, no, you can sit if you want,” you stammered.
And she sat in front of you. She offered a big genuine smile, and the little scar above her upper lip deepened for a moment. You couldn’t pull your eyes out of her blue irises.
“Are you new in town?”
“Very new, indeed. I arrived the day before yesterday,” you replied, smiling a bit.
She nodded silently, and her eyes wandered to your face. Your heartbeat in your ears, And for a moment, everything disappeared. It was her eyes, your heart, her perfume, and nothing. She was looking directly at your heart, at your soul. Those piercing blue eyes were magical. They were like the sea. They scared you. They seemed to attract you, and you felt yourself drowning for a moment. You were lost in the ocean, a deep blue ocean that smelled of orange blossom, jasmine, wisteria and violet. And if you died right there, it would probably be the best death you could ever think of.
The waiter came and brang Larissa’s drink. You found yourself back in the Weathervane.
“I didn’t quite catch your name,” she said.
“Uh… oh, Y/N.”
“Larissa.”
You knew it. You had heard it the previous day.
.
The following day, the scent entered your shop. You hadn’t still told her what your job was, and you looked at her, in her white dress, from the back shop for a few seconds before showing yourself. Her blue eyes widened at the sight of you.
“How can I help you, Larissa?” you asked.
“Well, I don’t know what flower to buy…”
“What occasion?”
“A date? … Sort of,” she replied
Your heart sank at these words. A date? She had a date? And she wanted to buy flowers for him… of for her… or for them. You suddenly felt cold and sad. It was probably stupid to think she was interested in you. She was just being friendly and you misunderstood the signals. She had already someone.
“Well, some roses or daisies are perfect for a date.”
“Then I will take some daisies, and if you could add violets, it’d be perfect.”
“Violets?”
“Yes,” and her cheeks turned pink.
Violets, huh? So she was… Anyway, it wasn’t your business. What she did in bed and with who was her life. Not yours.
You quickly picked the flowers and laced them together.
She paid and went out. You sighed. Her perfume was still there.
Later, you were about to quit your booth when you smelled her scent again. She went in the Weathervane, the daisies and violets in her hand. So she was about to have her date right there? You looked in the café, searching for someone that could fit her. But there was nobody. And she sat in front of you.
Oh?
Oh…
OH!
Your face went red at the realisation. You were her date.
“You should have told me you were the new florist! I wanted this to be a surprise!”
“Well, it is. I thought you were seeing someone else.”
She chuckled and handed you the flowers.
“That’s why you seemed… a bit lost? Were you jealous?”
“Not at all!”
And she laughed. And you loved her laughter.
.
And life went on. You would meet her every day. Sometimes she would go to your shop and buy flowers for you.
Months passed. You were partners.
After a year, you decided to live together.
.
That night, you were preparing yourself to welcome her back. She had had a hard time at her job, you knew it. She had told you about the Hyde, the traitor, and the Wednesday problem. You wanted her to feel better, to relax, at least for one night.
You had spent the entire day cooking for her. She didn’t know it, though. You never told her. It was a surprise. You had made some crab baozi, fried noodles, and beef dumplings because you knew she loved these. The table was made, you had placed a white tablecloth and put some red and white rose petals on it. A large bouquet _of orange blossom, jasmine, wisteria, and violet_ enthroned in the middle of the table. Some candles were lit, and you were waiting for her, sitting on an armchair in front of the chimney. She was a bit late, but it was okay. You were used to it.
The doorbell rang.
Strange… She never did this...After all, it was her home.
You got up and went to open the door.
Two police officers were there, their car parked at Larissa’s spot. You didn’t like their expressions. They seemed confused and awkward. You were too, of course. Why would some police officers go to your home at 8 p.m.?
“Are you Larissa Weems’ partner?”
“Yes, I am,” you replied hastily.
Hearing her name escaping from the police officer’s mouth had tensed you. Your mind was racing. Was Larissa in trouble? What did she do? Where was she? Was it because of Wednesday? Did she… did she meet the Hyde? Or was it the traitor? You couldn’t stop yourself from imagining her in a hospital bed, injured and unconscious. How you now wish you were right…
“Larissa Weems was found in Nevermore’s greenhouse, dead by nightshade poisoning. We’re sorry.”
Your eyes widened. You shook your head. They got to be wrong. It couldn’t be her. Not tonight.
“It’s impossible. She still is in her office, I’m sure she’s alright.”
“We’re sorry. She’s gone. This was confirmed by the coroner”
A shiver ran down your spine. No. You violently shook your head. No, no, no, no, no. No, she couldn’t. She was Larissa Weems. She was your 6’3 tall goddess. She could NOT be dead. You had planned to present her to your parents. Gone? How? You never even imagined one day without her. So how? How could she leave you?  Like that? No goodbye, nothing. No pathetic “I love you”, like in those movies you used to watch every Saturday night, cuddling under a cover on the sofa. She didn’t die in your arms, the last time you kissed her was this morning before she left to go work, her last message was “;-)”, which was… well pretty lame but so damn cute. And while she was dying alone in Nevermore’s greenhouse, you were making goddamn DUMPLINGS. You felt so stupid. You had put so much effort into making this evening go well that you never thought, even for a second, that Larissa could be in danger. You felt so stupid for never enjoying the moment, and always making plans. She was gone. All was over. She would never come back.
The police officers were gone when you came back to reality. You were standing in front of the house, cheeks drowned under your tears. You entered back, but it suddenly felt so cold. You looked at every detail of it and knew that if Larissa couldn’t come back, it wasn’t worth it anymore. Your loneliness was unbearable. The living room was full of void, the table in front of you seemed to laugh at your despair, and the kitchen smelled the food you had made for her. You locked yourself in the toilet and you grabbed your phone, calling the first person that came to your mind: your friend Cassie.
*Hello, y/n?*
“H-hey,” you said, sniffling.
*Is everything alright?*
“N-no, not really.”
And the nervous laughter you let out rang in your ears. You shook your head.
*What’s wrong?*
“It’s Larissa…”
*Did you argue?*
“No, she’s… she’s…”
*She’s what?*
“She’s gone.”
*What? It’s okay, love, she’ll come back, I’m sure. I don’t know what happened but she might need time…*
“No, you don’t get it.” you shook your head “She’s gone… dead.”
You had almost whispered. But you were not crying. Your mind couldn’t process this, it was beyond its limits. You did not believe it yourself. Dead. What did that mean, anyway, dead? You couldn’t imagine your life without her. It was impossible, it was absurd. Without her it meant nothing. It was like an anomaly. It was a dicotyledonous seed that grew with only one cotyledon. It couldn’t be Truth. You heard your friend’s gasp through the cell phone, and the silent seconds she let seemed hours.
*Wh-what do you mean? Is she really…*
You couldn’t reply. You couldn’t say it again. Because it would have made all of this Truth.
*Wait for me, I’m on my way. Don’t hang up.*
You nodded. It was stupid. She couldn’t hear it. But you nodded anyway, unable to tell another word out loud. A few seconds later, you heard a motor roaming. Cassie was in her car.
___
Now, she was gone. For good. No more impromptu visits to your shop. No more sweet sounds of her voice in your home. No more worshipping. She would never awake next to you again. She would never sing in the shower again. She would never make your favourite tea again, call you ‘dearest’, laugh at your lame puns, buy flowers for you at your shop _each time pretending it is for someone else_, come back late at night and kiss your forehead thinking you are sleeping, say she loves you. She would never read books in front of the chimney, her white locks loose, falling over her shoulders. All was gone. She was gone. For good. Killed. Murdered. The bottle was broken on the floor of your mind. And no matter how hard you scrubbed, the scent wouldn’t go away. The glass glitters were gone for a long time now. You had carefully gathered them, one by one, hoping that you would be able to fix it. Maybe one or two splinters were still in your parquet, but you had removed all that you could remove.
She was gone.
But all her belongings were still there.
Her scent, her home, her items, and you. You wanted to disappear like a tired dog stops eating when away from its master. She had left you.
It was strange because… She wasn’t there, but all that was making her was still here. Her perfume was still in your bathroom, her clothes in your closet, the music she used to listen to, and her favourite books. All. All were there. As if she were on a trip to a foreign country far, far away. You liked to imagine her on a plane, listening to one of the podcasts you introduced her to, on a beach, applying sunscreen to prevent her pale skin from tanning, maybe walking in a forest eyes wide open, trying to see a deer between the trees.
She wasn’t.
She was dead.
You knew it, but you wouldn't believe it.
During the day, it was okay. You had your friends who always kept an eye on you. One of them, Garry, who had no job, helped you for free in your shop, just to make sure you were always with someone. He talked to you, and occupied your mind so that you could never think about her.
And in the dark hollow of the night, her absence burnt. By washing the sheets, the smell had disappeared. And to trick your mind, making it believe she was just there, near you although you couldn’t touch her, and only when the sun was knocked out of the sky, you would hold one of her jackets close to you, and bury your face into the soft fabric so that all you could smell was orange blossom, jasmine, wisteria, and violet.
Have a cute song-fic request for Larissa x fem/nb reader. Song is called Bloom by The Paper Kites. I’ll leave the context up to you. I just think of reader singing/saying something like this to Larissa 🫶🏻
Bloom
Thank you, @veeisgayasf <3 I absolutely ADORE this song, it is so soft and lovely and makes my heart feel full. This is more inspired by how I feel listening to the song, I hope it lives up to your expectations nonetheless!
Larissa Weems x fem/gn!reader (no mention of pronouns)
words: ~850
warnings: none I think? pure fluff
In the morning when I wake And the sun is coming through Oh, you fill my lungs with sweetness And you fill my head with you
Soft rays of sunlight filtered through the sheer white curtains covering the windows next to your bed, drenching your sheets in a golden halo.
Your fingers curled languidly in luxurious sheets as you pressed into the warmth of the body next to you, staving off the faint chill of the morning air outside the bed.
It was still early, the clock on the bedside table gave away the time: 6:30am. The rest of the world was still asleep, the only sounds were the low whistle of the wind in the trees outside, the rustle of the leaves, a far away chirping of birds. Your world, however, was resting in your arms, chest rising and falling in a deep, steady rhythm.
Shall I write it in a letter? Shall I try to get it down? Oh, you fill my head with pieces Of a song I can't get out
Long, silver curls draped over Larissa’s bare shoulder and you reached out, fingertips dancing over her lightly freckled skin as you brushed a lock of hair off her arm. She shifted in her sleep, a soft sigh escaping her lips, turning her face towards you, and your breath caught in your lungs. Blonde eyelashes fluttered against her cheeks and you thought she looked like an angel in that moment, ethereal and peaceful.
Larissa had taken your breath away from the moment you’d first met her. In her role as principal she was a force to be reckoned with, a storm of a woman; in charge, demanding of respect, firm, but diplomatic. But you got to see another side of her: soft, gentle, even silly. Without makeup she was even more impossibly stunning, pale skin glittering in the soft rays of dawn, lips twitching lightly as she dreamed.
Can I take you to a moment Where the fields are painted gold And the trees are filled with memories Of the feelings never told?
A memory of the previous day danced around inside your skull. You and Larissa had driven from the Academy out to a little grove in the forest. You’d insisted on surprising her, laughing wholeheartedly at the weary gaze she’d given the blindfold you’d insisted she wear once you’d parked the car at the roadside by the forest edge.
With the help of a friend you’d set out a whole picnic for the two of you: a massive white blanket, covered in cushions and fluffy blankets for comfort. All of Larissa’s favorite foods, spread out on wooden boards, with golden cutlery and fancy wine glasses for Larissa’s favorite bottle of red.
You wanted to engrave the memory of Larissa’s smile when you’d slipped off the blindfold in your memory forever, wanted to savor the sound of the gleeful laughter that bubbled out of her chest as she plopped down on the pillows with an almost childlike sense of glee. This was the Larissa that no one else got to see, your Larissa.
You had taken turns reading to each other from To the Lighthouse, sipping wine until the evening had pulled the sun down and the light had faded too much to make out any words on the page. Larissa’s head rested on your thighs and you traced lazy patterns on her arms with your fingertips, not wanting the moment to draw to a close.
When the evening pulls the sun down And the day is almost through Oh, the whole world it is sleeping But my world is you
You placed a kiss on the corner of her mouth, relishing in her deep exhale and the way that Larissa nuzzled ever closer to you underneath the sheets. Her arm grazed over your hip bone. You nuzzled your nose into the crook of her neck, breathing her in, allowing her scent to engulf you. Cinnamon. Amber. Red wine from the previous night’s activities.
Larissa opened one eye and peered down at you, watching the blush that formed furiously on your cheeks at having been caught staring. You were caught in her gaze, mesmerized by the adoration you saw swimming in her cerulean eyes.
“Can I be close to you?” you breathed. Larissa’s affirming hum vibrated through her chest, tickling your cheek as it rested against her. Her arm came around your shoulder and pulled you on top of her, shifting her hips and threading your legs together.
You planted a kiss on the column of her throat, receiving a kiss on your forehead in return and feeling the corners of Larissa’s lips turn up in a smile against your skin. Her arms tightened around your midsection, pulling you into her and you felt her breathing begin to even out again. In that moment you knew, as if you hadn’t known it already in a hundred moments before: she was your entire heart.
Can I be close to you? Ooh, ooh
