I GOT THEM

I got the new series two Marvel Lego mini figures. I got them both!

First there is Marc. His face rotates to grumpy man. He holds two crescent throwing things and comes with a golden scarab.

Next is Steven.

AND HE COMES WITH GUS YOU GUYS.

WITH A BUM FIN.

20240416: the History of LEGO Castle day 107. Fright Knights minifigures Fright Knights introduced five new torsos and the 2x2x2 black printed hollow dress element, and also used four existing torsos, plus the skeleton and the glow-in-the-dark ghost. -The Bat Lord a black helmet with bat wings on either side, a yellow minifigure head with an inverted "V" hairline, pointed eyebrows and mustache, black arms with a printed red torso with a yellow and black collar, five vertical black lines with rows of yellow dots, a silver belt, and dark gray legs with a black belt. Some of the minifigures in this subtheme have the Bat Lord with a cape and some have him without it. -The witch has a black witch / wizard hat, a yellow minifigure head with black bangs, long black hair on both sides, an open red smile with one tooth, black arms on a printed black torso with a red necklace with a black spider on a yellow circle background in the center, three yellow buttons, a thin yellow corset line on the waist, and a printed black 2x2x2 hollow slope with a red center. The printed pieces give the appearance of a black dress with black top. Some of the minifigures in this subtheme have Willa the Witch with the read cape and some have her without. -The Fright Knights archer has a black archer helmet, yellow minifigure face with black bangs, mustache, and forehead tuft, a printed light gray torso with red Fleur de Lis pattern, and dark gray legs with a black belt. -Another minifigure has a black axe wielder helmet, a yellow minifigure head with black bangs, beard, and mustache, a dark gray printed studded armor torso and dark gray arms, and red legs with a black belt. -The knight has a black Dragon Master / Dragon Knight helmet, a yellow minifigure head with bushy black goatee, pointed eyebrows, and corner black bangs, a printed black torso with dark gray and silver stripes with black arms, and dark gray legs with a black belt. -The red torso with black arms and printed silver scale mail torso returned in this subtheme from the Black Knights with a yellow minifigure head with brown bangs, beard, and mustache, a black knight helmet with front grill, and plain blue legs. -The dark forest minifigure has a brown hood, a yellow minifigure head with black bangs and mustache and facial scruff, a green forest person torso with printed maroon spikey collar and red arms, a cross-torso black belt, a black belt with yellow buckle, and plain brown legs. -The Royal King, has a yellow minifigure head with red hair, sideburns, eyebrows, and mustache, a chrome gold crown, a red torso with white arms, a yellow spiky necklace, a white and red checkered pattern with a yellow lion head with a yellow crown and black mane, and blue legs with a black belt. -The next minifigure only came in 6090 Royal Knight's Castle and 9376 Castle Set from Education and Dacta, which was a yellow minifigure head with wavy black eyebrows, mustache, and goatee, a red torso with black arms and red hands, a yellow lion head with a yellow crown and a black mane on a halved red and white triangular background with a blue border, and black legs with a red belt. -The first undead minifigure is the skeleton, with a white minifigure head with black circular eyes, a black triangle nose, and a black tooth smile, a white skeleton body with thin shoulder pins, thin skeleton arms, and individual bone legs. -The very last minifigure is a glow-in-the-dark ghost! The body is made from a white torso with white arms and white gloves, a plain black minifigure head, plain white legs, and the ghost cover over it all.

I recently redownloaded Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga cause I was feeling a lot of nostalgia for playing it as a kid and now I can’t stop thinking about how cool a Lego Untamed/MDZS video game would be! Like playing through iconic moments from the series in Lego form would be wild! Plus actual Lego sets and minifigs of the characters would be hilarious but also I would low-key want them so bad!

20230109: I still have a significant number of empty boxes I’m working to fill from the classic collection I purchased WAAAAYY back in June 2022. while I continue to make a dent in the inventory and rebuild process, I decided it might be a good idea for me to see how many and what type of Lego town minifigures I have left to work with. in general, Lego sets don’t have much value these days without the minifigures so this should help me figure out if I even have the minifigures to begin with so I can prioritize which empty boxes I attempt to fill. the first row of the black torso minifigures are all the older style minifigure torso with a completely hollow area for the leg connectors. other rows with hollow minifigure torsos are the top white row with the faded medic torso, the first blue row, and the first red row. All the other torsos are the more standard three connector area torsos. unfortunately, I’m fairly certain some of the classic Lego sets I’ve already packed were ones where I wasn’t as careful with ensuring the sets received the correct, era-specific torso. I think once I move or get everything sorted, I’ll go back through everything I’ve already inventoried, clean all the sets, verify the minifigures, and package them all better. if I’m ever going to start selling these from my BrickLink store, I’ll need things in far better shape than they are now :)

today, me and my sibling made death battle machines and pitted them against each other. the one with the ninjas piloting is called “wu’s team building exercise” and the one with the flaming tit on top is called “diarrhea johnson’s freedom-licious nutbuster 3000”.

diarrhea johnson’s machine can only go in one direction [circle] and wu’s teambuilding exercise can only go in every direction all at once. it has 11 wheels and 6 joints/swivels for maximum teamwork difficulty. kai is in charge of main steering from his post on top of the double-decker couch, and due to an error in lower-couch capacity calculations, the secondary steering mechanism had to be moved to the very front of the vehicle last-minute, but lloyd is braving it like a champ. cole is on back right steering and zane mirrors him with back left steering. wu’s job is to hold The Skull.

in the end, diarrhea johnson won with only a single illegal nuclear rocket booster knocked off from the impact, and wu’s team building exercise was broken into 4 pieces. among the detached was the expresso machine/main and only engine in the back that jay was put in charge of constant monitoring, as well as the emergency shut down explosion button [and only form of breaks] on the very back of the vehicle. lloyd was flung across the floor and hit the dishwasher head on. he is still in the ICU. however, when the illegal nuclear rocket booster was knocked off of mr johnson’s vehicle, it also set off a nuclear explosion and rendered everywhere within a 100 mile radius an instant-death zone. diarrhea johnson did not survive. however, we concluded that the ninja are probably fine, because they are only glowing green, and as everyone knows, lloyd’s power glows green, so nothing is out of the ordinary. 

perhaps most impressive of all is that The Skull was not once knocked from wu’s hand. truly a legendary battle was had today, but i think the true hero here does not lie in the winner - but in each of us.
