PLEASE. I saw someone make outfit moodboards for them with clothes for toddlers and realised with horror that my interpretation of their ages is not universal... they have NO canon age. its driving me crazy

Before I say anything, I haven't seen the Jodie Whittaker era of Doctor Who. But if it's as bad as I heard, I just want to take a moment to remember a Jodie Whittaker performance I think about sometimes.

This is from the first episode of Broadchurch. Her character Beth Latimer, is finding out her son died.

I knew what was gonna happen, and it still brought me to tears. It's the way she's still processing what they told her, while crying because she did process it. You can see the intense grief on her face, while she's frozen. She cries, you can hear the agony, while she's also silent.

Jodie Whittaker, you were fantastic.

if you want to provide that list of 13’s episodes i would love it as a crash course<33 i’ve been meaning to catch up but haven’t had the time and the End Of The Semester is here so i probably won’t have time for an actual catch up until break. in like 3 weeks:( also for that earlier ask, i watched the special with absolutely 0 leadup besides a vague memory of 13’s first season and the stuff i’ve been lightly spoiled on as a result of existing On Here and was not really confused at all, though i definitely want to go back and watch the 13->14 regeneration scene, so it’s definitely not super heavy on stuff from 13 yet!

this one is weird because it's a series of interconnected episodes, so you can't really pick and choose. its weird and confusing but i still recommend it because of dan my best friend dan

13. eve of the daleks - my absolute favorite episode of the entire 13 era

14. the power of the doctor

you ever go back to something you watched/played as a kid and went "oh wow this is so cool and mysterious and puzzley i love it" but with an older mind capable of stuff like Clarity you go “ah. it was just obtuse.”

#this could be about a bunch of point-and-click adventure games/flash games in general i played as a kid but its mostly about wkm NFDSKNF #i just watched it for the second time (first time since like 2018? 2019?) and im not saying its BAD not at all #its just very. vague. maybe engaging w the website when it was still up and when the series was just coming out wouldve provided clarity #but if youre just going through it as a whodunnit youre very much in the dark because the real meat of the story is just not there #of course it pushes william as the key suspect and straight up says it was him at the end but any indication of how or when is just Not Ther #unless that party scene where someones pointing a gun at mark(?)'s head was meant to be them playing russian roulette for realsies?#which its not cause the DA wouldntve been there and also it woulda happened too early?#i havent seen much of the explanation streams ever and i dont think im about to watch an 11 hour vod i just do not have that much patience #i put off watching the stan the water man vid for years cause its like 3 hours. i havent watched that 5-13 hour victorious video essay #woah there pardner! you expect me to read all that Hog-Wash?.png #disregard these tags if you like! this is a universal feeling im just talking out my ass cause i dont want to go to bed #internal monologue
