Hello!! I hope im not breaking any rules or anything!! This has been rotting in my brain for awhile now and i wanted to ask what would happen if we combined the Obey me x genshin impact Crossover and the SAGAU imposter au (can this be considered a villain au too?)where the mc just wants to make everyone suffer? They say they forgive the genshin cult but they would pettily drop what happened and hold it over their heads

It started out like that and then it progressively gets worst. (Also imagine if the obey me boys finally managed to get inside the genshin world the mc is so happy and refuses to separate from them, they act really snappy with the cult but is so freaking traumatized inside— that's how the mc coped with the fear of being hunted again by making sure they have absolute control [Avatar of pride is waving] over everyone)

Aww, thank you so much!! 🥺💖 This pairing and these characters (Gou/Goh in particular) really means a lot to me, so it always makes me happy to write about them and put together themed blog posts, and such. I'm glad that it makes you happy, too! 😊

I don't have an issue with Goh not being universally liked. No one has to like a character and sometimes the character just doesn't click with someone. That's fine. There are Pokémon characters that I myself don't care for, so I get it. That's not what I have a problem with. 

What bothers me is the unfair treatment and the blatant lies about Goh that are just objectively wrong because of evidence in the episodes themselves that renders the arguments invalid. Those lies spread, and people start to believe the lies without coming to their own conclusions. People start to hate Goh based on what they've heard about him and how people talk about him, not based on how he's presented in the anime.

Take episode 59, the episode Goh catches Grookey. Back when the episode aired and to this day, people called Goh a thief, equating him to Team Rocket and Pokémon poachers. This is factually wrong yet that doesn't stop websites like Gamerant from putting forward this flawed argument: "Capturing Grookey for himself even though he belonged to Jessie goes against the moral code of Pokémon training, regardless of the situation."

That's just all kinds of stupid. No, really, it just is. It makes Goh out to be this immoral, selfish character that will stop at nothing to accomplish his goal. So we're just going to argue that a Pokémon is a piece of property that belongs to someone and has to stay with that someone regardless of how that Pokémon feels or how that person treats the Pokémon. Yeah, that sounds like a perfectly moral position to take. And let's just ignore Grookey chose to leave Jessie, despite the evidence in the episode, because acknowledging that would totally detract from the disingenuous point the writer is pushing here and wants readers to believe/share on social media.

I asked this before and I'll ask it again: so if Goh is a thief, Ash is too, right? Remember Charmander? I did a comparison clip a couple months back, and I ask again, what's the difference:

So going by the logic put forth, Charmander should've stayed with Damian too, because we're holding Ash to the same "standard" here, right? No, of course not, and the whole "regardless of the situation" argument is a terrible and dangerous one because it can be used to justify almost any kind of behavior. 

The same article (and something that gets repeated ad nauseam) is that Goh treats his Pokémon as objects that are a part of a collection and that he doesn't care if his Pokémon rot in Cerise Park. Really? So I guess my photoshop skills are better than I give myself credit for since these scenes totally don't exist in any episode of the anime:

Do we really need a scene in every episode that shows Goh feeding, playing with, and just overall caring for his Pokémon? No, because a fair-minded person that isn't trying to push a false narrative would agree that the anime has given us more than enough scenes inside and outside of Cerise Park that show Goh's love for his Pokémon is just as strong as Ash's, or any of Ash's previous companions. This also extends to Pokémon that were wild at the time too. Goh loves all Pokémon, as I show here. 

On a similar note, do we really need a scene in every episode where Goh battles a Pokémon before catching it? There is nothing wrong with Goh's catching style. It's absolutely legitimate. Pokémon GO!, Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee, and Pokémon: Legends Arceus all allow Pokémon to be captured without battling. It's a game mechanic that is now part of the anime, and to say that Goh doesn't work for or earn his captures when this is now common place in the mainline games and highly popular app isn't fair to his character. I guess anyone that plays one of the aforementioned games and catches a Pokémon without weakening it had it handed to them on a silver platter too, right (never mind the fact that there are factors involved like the timing/angle of the throw)?

Again though, it's a misrepresentation of his character that you'll see get tossed around online that Goh, unlike past female traveling companions, doesn't have to work toward his goal when he has everything handed to him (and gets no character development in the process). People still talk about how a legendary (Suicune) was given to him, another disingenuous take intended to get people to dislike Goh by saying how he was given a legendary ahead of Ash, the much more experienced trainer. I talk about that in detail here but I'll summarize my points:

The reason Goh was able to catch Suicune was because it was already significantly weakened. It had been purifying the polluted lake water repeatedly (on top of roaming the world and purifying other bodies of water), so logically, that in itself weakened it somewhat. Then, it endured multiple attacks by the Pokémon Hunters Pokémon. On top of that, it was poisoned. By game logic, attacking and inflicting a status ailment like poison makes a Pokémon easier to catch. Plus, it had ropes around it, causing it to deplete more of its strength as it struggled to escape, when Goh rescued (yes, rescued) Suicune with a Pokéball. 

Goh later on cares for Suicune's injuries, provides it food, and watches over it while it begins to recover. Suicune then sees Goh (and Ash) take a stand against the very people that hurt it and have been contaminating the lake, plus making the forest and water Pokémon sick. Suicune saw that Goh was willing to put his life on the line as the Houndoom came for him. Suicune could see that Goh didn't only care for it, and the forest Pokémon, but Ash as well as he shoved Ash out of the away to protect him from Houndoom.

Why is it that hard to believe Suicune saw Goh as someone with a pure heart, and as someone that only has good and noble intentions? Suicune could very easily see Goh as a force for good in the world and want him for a partner to help rid the world of people like the Pokémon Hunters. Suicune chose to go with Goh because Goh earned its trust and respect. By no means was Goh just handed it without hardship, without forming a bond with it. I thought that was a part of what Pokémon is supposed to be about. 

Sadly, that's not even all of it. Again, if a person doesn't like Goh, or any other character for that matter, that's fine. When a person engages in character assassination though, that's when they lose all credibility. It's those that hate the character that have been allowed to shape the overall perception of Goh in the eyes of many in the fandom, even those that regularly watch the anime. I think Goh would be a lot more popular if people didn't lie about his character (which they do for various reasons, but I won't go into because those would be assumptions on my part).

And while I may sound like an unapologetic 100% Goh stan, I do in fact have opinions as to how the character could've been handled better up to this point and if anyone wants to hear my thoughts on that subject, feel free to ask.

I'm happy though that my blog can be an escape from all of that for you, and for others. I'll happily continue to post and share content, and I still have hope, still believe, there's at least a decent chance that Goh will remain a part of the anime come November. It would make me truly happy to see this wonderful character be given more time to grow and shine, as well as brighten our lives. 💖

Tonight he wasn't streaming, he was pushed back from his desk with a controller in hand, slouched in his gaming chair at an angle that was probably atrocious for his back with his legs kicked out in front of him, ankles crossed and headphones on. It was almost midnight, and you'd finally, finally, added the final touches to the project you'd been working on for weeks, pouring your heart into, though now it was finished, it left you feeling hollow. Everything's a little fuzzy, too much and too little at the same time, the beginnings of a headache gently pressing at your temples, and all you know is that you need a moment of human contact, strangely touch starved in the wake of an achievement that felt like anything but.

So you push open the door to his office, yawning, quiet and uncharacteristically downcast, not even saying anything as you gently nudge at his arm. His gaze snaps to you, suddenly startled, but you barely registering it as he pauses the game and pulls his headphones away from one ear.

"What's up?" Eyes wide and concerned as he takes in your demeanour, you sigh and wrinkle your nose just a little.

"'m tired," you mutter, finally meeting his gaze. His expression turns soft as his voice drops to a murmur, telling you to go to bed. You make a face at that, instead reaching out to ease the controller from his grip, "I'll give it back," you assure when he looks like he's about to protest. He's confused for all of five seconds before you climb into his lap, legs either side of him, tucking yourself against him. Giving him a quick kiss, you hand back the controller, "feel free to keep playing," and you rest your forehead against his shoulder, in the crook of his neck.

After a moment of confusion, he decides to roll with it, shifting to get more comfortable, his arms warm and secure around you. You hear the game unpause.

Its not the most comfortable seat in the world, but its where you feel safest, warm and secure, it eases something in your mind, has you feeling a little less hollow. Time passes, the sounds from the game coming through his headphones by your ear become like white noise, and you press a soft, grateful kiss to his shoulder, and settle yourself against him a little more.

A little more time passes, and the click of buttons, of the sometimes vigorous joystick movements ceases, and he's still holding the controller, the game is still going on, he's just not participating, and you can't see why.

But then he's wrapping you in a hug, tight and secure, holding you close, burying his face against your neck, leaning into you as much as he can. So you hug him back, the one moment, this one gesture, filling your tired, hollow soul with warmth.

"I love you," he mutters, lips against your shoulder, still holding you close, "you know that?" And you can feel his soft smile, can hear it in his words.

"I love you too," you whispered back, suddenly feeling just how exhausted you were, knowing only that the idea that you could love, and be loved, so thoroughly, had you close to tears in this moment.

"Let's go to bed," his voice is kind, understanding, so damn gentle, "you must be so tired," and you nod when words fail, hating to leave the safety of his arms, to detangle yourself from him, but he takes your hand before you're even properly out of his lap, lackng your fingers together and not letting go. You give his hand a squeeze. He gives you a brilliant smile.

"I'm proud of you, by the way," he adds, reaching over to switch off his monitor for the night, "I know how much effort it's taken you, I'm proud you got it done, babe."

"Dude, I'm too tired to process you being so sweet to me," you wrapped your arms around him again, feeling his soft chuckle as he hugs you back, "I need to pass the hell out before I have another human emotion or I'm just going to start crying," you declared, taking his hand again as you stepped away, and he let's you lead him to bed.

"Sounds like a plan," he nods, before quickly backtracking, "the sleep thing, not the crying thing."

It gets you to laugh, and in the moment, its exactly what you need. Looking back, you feel your heart fill with warmth at the sight of his smile, his joy, knowing that even when the world feels wrong to you, he can still make you smile.

Living with Corpse and being his girlfriend was a whole different kind of experience. You were a very shy and timid person, you had a few close friends and didn’t really branch out from that. Corpse on the other hand made friends very easily which came in handy with his YouTube career especially when it came time to stream with groups of people.

“Baby” you jump a little looking up from your phone.

“Hello,” you chuckle a little seeming you boyfriends excited demeanor. “Aren’t you supposed to be streaming right now?” Corpse nods, his smile only growing more.

“I am streaming right now but I’m on a gamer bladder break. Buuuut thats not why I’m out here,” corpse outstretches his arms and wiggles his fingers “I want you to come say it everyone and meet my friends.”

You felt your face start to heat up and your palms get sweaty. “Oh no no I-that’s not-you-“

“Baaaabe come on please we can give you a code name like mine we can call you...Corpse wife!” Despite your apprehension you laugh.

“Or corpse bride” Corpses eyes light up.

“That’s perfect now let’s go!” Before you could protest corpse picks up up off the couch and carries you to his streaming room. He sits down unmuting the mic. “Everyone I have someone I would like you to meet! Corpse bride say hi” you cling to him and slowly move your face to the mic.

“H-hello it’s nice to meet you all” you voice is soft and quiet. Everyone starts talking over each other trying to talk to you.

“Holy shit Corpse you have a girlfriend?!”

“Awww”

“Hii it’s so nice to meet you!”

You couldn’t help but giggle which made everyone freak out even more. Corpse hugs you tighter and kisses your cheek.

“See not that bad” he whispers in your ear.

“Says you Mr.Hot shot streamer.”

“You should play a round with us Corpse Bride!” You heard a soft males voice speak. “Also hello I’m Sykkuno.”

“Yeah please with us!”

“I don’t know how to play...”

“It’s easy babe” he puts his hands over you’d and guides them to the keyboard explaining what each one does. “Then if you are imposter you kill the others and try to get away with it.”

“Do I have to kill them?”

“How in the world did someone so soft end up the blood thirsty corpse!” You heard a loud Irish man laugh.

“I ask myself that everyday” you tease. “You should see us stood next to eachother, he tall usually has chains on and dressed in all black while I love a pop of color maybe some floral designs. We like day and night but opposites attract I guess” you hear a chorus of Aww causing your blush to deepen and you hide your face in Corpses neck.

“Okay get back to your stream I’m gonna go start dinner” he nods and gives you one more kiss before you leave.

Later that evening after you guys had eaten dinner you walked over to corpse and crossed your arms with a pouty face. He laughs and tries to grab your hips but smack is hand away which only made him laugh more.

“What’s wrong princess”

“You owe me baby boy for putting me on blast with your friends on stream” corpse smirks and Sits back against the couch.

“Oh yeah and what do I owe you?” You get a devilish smirk and get on his lap. You lean in close to his ear and whisper.

“I get to do your makeup.” He groans loudly and hugs you tight.

“Noooo baby please anything but that” you shake you head and smile brightly.

“Nope I get to do your make up come on!” You stand up and grab his hands trying to pull him up from the couch.

“Last time you did my make up I had glitter on me for a month.”

“No glitter this time scouts honor” you hold up two fingers. Finally he gives way and follows you to your shared bedroom.

You push him on to the bed and excitedly bounce into the bathroom grabbing your bag of makeup before skipping back into the room.

“I’m gonna make you look so pretty!” Corpse falls back onto the bed and you take the opportunity to get on his lap, putting your hands on his chest. “Please you can take it off as soon as I’m done and no pictures I pinky promise” Corpse can’t hold back his smile any longer and he hooks his pinky finger with yours.

“Fine fine but remember no glitter!”

Michael Underscore-Beloved

Age: 9

By the time he’s turned nine, Michael is a mostly verbal autistic boy. He doesn’t have the biggest vocabulary for his age, and if he’s particularly stressed he’ll go nonverbal. Still, he’s a particularly adventurous boy now that he can mostly hold his own and his dads have gotten more lenient. Despite how much he likes seeing the world, he tries to be extra careful and never goes out alone. He can be a bit of a worrywart sometimes but is mostly just the voice of reason. Though there aren’t many people he doesn’t know, he can be a bit shy sometimes. His rot was healed when he was younger, but the healed skin is much darker than the rest of him. His ear on this side didn’t heal fully and is almost deaf, and he could not recover an eye, however, no matter how much arcane healing was done. He covers up the empty socket with a patch, but Ranboo and Tubbo are working on trying to get him a prosthetic eye somehow. He’s a bit clumsy even without being half blind, but always gets back up when he falls. Outside of being anxious, he’s a pretty fearless kid, and really likes climbing things.

Michelle

Age: 9

Michelle and Michael became friends once conflict calmed down on the server and Tubbo and Ranboo stopped being super overprotective. Puffy was happy to bring her over to hang out when the two were younger, and now, her and Michael are best friends. Everyone calls her Shelly to avoid confusion. Michelle is bold beyond reason, having picked up a reckless streak from her family. She’s the one who always has the ideas of what to do, and is a very bright girl. She can think on her toes and can usually figure out how to solve any pickle she may find herself in (and she finds herself in pickles often). She’s also fiercely protective of Michael, since she knows he’s not as able as her. She’s far from shy, to the point her friends sometimes have to tell her to dial back the friendliness. She also has the same sort of scarring as Michael from healing her rot, but she was able to almost completely heal. Her healed eye is a little lazy but they’re working on it. She is very athletic and rough and tumble, always happy to accompany Michael on an adventure.

Foolish Gamers Junior

Age: 6

Foolish Junior, or simply Junior as he’s called, has been Michael’s friend since forever. He sees Michael as almost an older brother, and loves to tag around him. Being a totem, Junior has pledged himself to Michael, promising to fight for and protect him if he must. However, this doesn’t seem to be something that would happen, since Junior is rather small for his age, and just the worst at fighting. Still, he’s always the first to step in for Michael when he needs it. Junior is also a bit of a scaredy cat when he’s not being protective. He’s very afraid of things and often needs coaxing to do more dangerous things when the group is out and about. This causes him to butt heads with Michelle sometimes. He and Michelle have a playfully mean teasing sort of relationship. They’re technically related by adoption, however, this makes Michelle his aunt. She uses this against him all the time. Along with protecting Micheal, he also stands up for his little sister often, and the two are almost never seen apart.

Finley Gamers

Age: 5

Junior’s tagalong little sister, who everyone calls Fin, lest you want to face her ire. She’s the baby of the group, and treated with equal parts annoyance and affection. She trusts her her older brother almost completely and never wants to leave his side. She’s young and quite naive, often not realizing what she’s getting into tagging along with the others. Despite this, she’s much rowdier than her brother, and will pick a fight if she has to. The older kids try to cool her hothead nature as best they can, but Finley Gamers is a force to be reckoned with. Along with this, the older kids often state their frustrations at having a “little kid” always following them around, but she just does it anyway, usually with a quick comeback and a bit of snark. She’s also just a little bit bratty, and doesn’t like it when the older kids are doing something she doesn’t like, and will let this be known. This is easily solved by just pretending to leave her behind. Also, she’s the most agile and athletic of them all despite her age. She can swim very well owing to the ocean god nature of her father, and is almost as fast as Michelle on land. Unless Junior hits a growth spurt, she’ll also pass him in height.

And even when you drank the water down, his eyes never left you.

But in the end, Kenma sighs and he resumes on playing his game instead.

But joke's on him, it bugged his mind. He dropped his Switch as he looks at you.

Kenma: You said Renato.

You: I know, Kenma. It was a prank.

And the worry immediately vanishes as he rolled his eyes before reaching for his Switch again. He should've known better, of course.

I think his persona is characteristically smug and cocky, he's got a slight sense of what I call assholish charm among fans, and he's enough of an edgy bad boy to lead to him being viewed as a fuckboi. He's the kind of fuckboi that TLC's "No Scrubs" is dedicated to lyrically, yk?

In a similar fashion, fanon!Hawks is much more of a fuckboi than his canon counterpart who tbh, would not surprise me if he has rarely ever had sex and only ever did so as part of his job as a spy to gain someone's trust. And even then it isn't a thing he really wants to do or cares about, it's just one method of interrogating and gaining trust.

As for Tomura, I can see him having sex under very specific circumstances. He might fuck someone as a form of physical relief via a sex worker or one night stand if he doesn't want to just jerk off, but he wouldn't be likely to have many romantic partners because of his outlook on life and his destiny and all that. He DID find family in the League though, so maybe he could find someone who can make his walls and sense of ennui melt away. He's more guarded and I think that he's hesitant to fuck someone if he cares about them. That sounds weird, but when his only sexual encounters are kinda...utilitarian, sex doesn't necessarily equal "act of love and trust" in his head. Much like Hawks he may have fucked, but has never made love.

...it's also a lot easier for Tomura to get laid, since most folks are naturally squeamish when they smell rotting/burnt/septic flesh with a very DIY medical job done to keep him intact. Trust me, if you've ever smelled burning flesh it's something you'd encounter in a nightmare as opposed to a wet dream. Unless yk, your brain is severely built different.
