Dewdrop post trasition headcannons.

He misses having a pouch, it especially hurts him emotionally when the kits in the Repatriation program nuzzle around trying to look for it. They whine and paw at the scar left over from what was once his pouch opening. He feels bad because he can no longer provide the type of comfort they're looking for.

When he woke up after his recovery, he felt so hungry for air. The gills that he once had closed up and formed scars. Without these extra vents, he felt like he was suffocating.

For a while, his skin felt so dry and flaky. No matter how many baths he took, it wouldn't stop feeling so dry. It was when his skin started to crack when Cumulus and Cirrus taught him about body oils and moisturizers. He uses them almost religiously, even after his skin became leathery enough to not crack or flake.

He noticed that he started to attract more Kindlings and Flurries when he would visit the program's nursery. This made him feel better about lacking a pouch. He was now able to provide another source of comfort to make up for the one he lacks.
