Yes. I pray for the 110 or so israeli and immgrant hostages assumed to still be alive. And I also pray for the hundreds of Palestianian hostages arrested without charge in Israeli prisons assumed to be alive.

for all that I love Ghosts, I've been getting a very different kind of joy out of watching uploads of a very, very similar show on youtube - The Ghosts of Motley Hall.

Like, a setup where the ghosts actually mostly like each other from the off, so that a huge chunk of the dialogue just goes towards establishing more and more of their meandering, idiosyncratic shared history (especially because the budget was clearly about £1.50 so they have to establish most things through dialogue)... that has its own kind of charm.

Random 3 am rant: the whole concept of a "pick me girl" is super (hetero)sexist and I wish it never became a thing... now some ppl are using it to call other people out for harmless if slightly pretentious things (and sometimes it's even used if they just happen to have a different opinion on something)

I haven't started my tdf stuff yet today bc it was freezing this morning but is warming up into perfect flax spinning weather now, BUT... i did have a rare moment of brain cells working and realized i could do some bundle dyeing with my skirt fabric (its in two pieces atm so it should be easier to work with than if it were already circle skirt shaped). Im currently still scouring it but im gonna wrap it with nasturtium flowers bc they are currently very abundant in my garden, and im hoping ill get some pretty colors, so... updates to follow

#not sure what mordant to use though #i was looking online and everything i saw was vinegar + salt which ive certainly used successfully before #but i cant tell if the reason thats all im seeing is bc that's what works best or bc those are very beginner friendly and all the articles #are very geared towards beginners to natural dyeing #i don't think im beginner but im also keenly aware of how little i know #anyway. excited to see how it turns out bc ive never bundle dyed and never used nasturtium flowers either #i dye things as fleece generally so it seemed just something i wouldnt ever have a use for #but i totally neglected to consider the possibilities wrt sewing pretty skirts. so
