of course i will, anything for our boy in red! i will say that bay raph in particular is hard for me to write, so i hope this is decent

The first time it's brought up, Raph absolutely refuses to allow you to spend his season with him. Won't even have the conversation. Not even Mikey can convince him to just talk to you. It takes a literal act of God to force him into it- stranded in your apartment together while a late snowstorm rages, just as his season is starting.

Raph is naturally afraid that he will hurt you. But what he doesn't tell you is that he is afraid of the vulnerability. Raph's season is a highly emotional time for this passionate guy. He knows that he'll be more open- generally the first sign that his season is starting is when he admits something to one of his brothers that he doesn't actually want them to know. So forced into close quarters with you, alone- he's afraid of what he'll say, afraid that the depths of his feelings will drive you off.

He is shocked that when the time comes, his anger doesn't overwhelm him the way it normally does. Instead, it is his love for you that takes over. He finds himself feeling incredibly affectionate. He even chirps for you. (Once it's over he's mortified and you have to swear that you'll never tell anyone ever). The sadness he associates with this time? Again, all gone, because you're here.

The cuddling is real and it is. Frequent. Raph doesn't like to let you go and will often carry you around if you need to move from the bed. But good luck getting him to agree to let you leave the bed. He likes you there and he does not want you to leave. Surely he can go get whatever you need? You belong in his arms, as far as he is concerned.

So, Raph. Once you get him on board, he has rules. These are non-negotiable, because not following them could possibly result in him hurting you and that Will Not Happen. The biggest rule is that you cannot tease him. Teasing riles him up like nothing else and if he loses control and hurts you... no. It Won't Happen. He'll lock himself in a different room and take care of himself before he'll let you break one of his rules.

However, that doesn't mean that it's not a good time for both of you. It's hard at first, because Raph is so afraid to let go, but once he does? Once all that passion is set free and focused on you? It is absolutely some of the most intense lovemaking you've ever experienced in your life. And that's what it is- lovemaking.

All of Raph's affection and tender feelings take over, and he is intense but so gentle at the same time. When it's not mating season, he can be rough sometimes, although never more than you can handle. Not so during mating season. Even when he's pounding into you, driving you wild as you writhe under him, he doesn't hurt you. The only bruises you come out with are in the shape of his hands on your hips.

He is surprisingly quiet when he fucks you. Everything in him is so focused on you that he barely notices his own pleasure. He does chirp a lot, and when it happens the churring practically vibrates the whole bed. He prefers to draw sounds out of you instead. There is a certain dark chuckle he gives that warns you that you are about to get loud. He loves to quiet down so he can catch the nearly silent gasp that comes out of you when his fingers hit that spot deep in you.

He becomes an anxious mother hen when it's over. He hovers. It's a little maddening but he needs you to indulge. He needs to be able to make sure that you're okay, that he didn't hurt you. He is of course worried for no reason, you're fine. But he's still a little cuddly, so you enjoy indulging him.

Mutant Mayhem spoilers

It’s such a small moment and maybe I just have brain rot or something but in the beginning when Splinter is talking abt why he hates humans it’s Mikey specifically that chimes in with that little “you don��t know that.” And just UGH

Even just by his tone you can tell that he knows his words aren’t going to change anything because they’ve had this conversation too many times. But also Mikey was the one Splinter almost lost that day, like if Splinter was any slower Mikey would’ve been gone.

And you just know in the minds of children Mikey equated their isolation from humans as being his fault because he almost got ran over as a baby.

Like I don’t wanna say it because sometimes leads to unnecessary angst, but children who grow up isolated from everyone else believing that they can’t confide in their parent often blame themselves for their parents decisions.

Donnie and Raph back talk and make fun of Splinter the most but Mikey does it like once and Leo does it never. So you can tell Leo and Mikey don’t get upset with their father, they get upset with themselves for the way things are and I just

As an olny child I tend to keep things mostly to myself thinking 'Yeah I can handle this alone' when I actually can't- does that happen to Leo too?

Alsooo- One of my friends who has siblings and took care of them basically always- but the thing is, they tend to become very childish whenever there is anyone old or mature enough to keep them in check around. Like they are very responsible and all but the momment there is a parent figure around they are a child.

Could this happen to Leo? Like take care for example: Mickey

But the momment anyone slightly older is around he just goes on 'time to be a child mode'

Sorry for rambling but I really like your au! ^^

I’ve been thinking about it as I solidify what Leo is actually like in this au, and… Leo wouldn’t actually put everything everything on his shoulders. Because he meets April way earlier than he did in canon (he’s maybe…5-8 when he meets her?), so he actually thinks of himself as a younger brother rather than an older one. He knows he has brothers but given how they were essentially separated at birth, he doesn’t know anything about them. What they look like, how they act, what their age order is. Honestly, he probably subconsciously thinks of himself as the baby of the family bc their presence is always looming over them.

But then they meet. And it’s weird. Raph is bigger than him, Donnie’s more mature than him, but yeah. Then there’s Mikey. And given how he and Mikey were separated (comic in progress lol), I think he’d be very very protective of him. Except this Mikey doesn’t need protecting? If anyone needs it, it’s their two “older” brothers who grew up relatively sheltered all things considered. And maybe that’s where Serious Leader Leo kicks in, because he kind of finally gets it, that his family needs protecting. He needs to take care of them and he had the only parent that prepared him for that.

But he’d definitely be suuuuuper awkward around the other parents at first. 😂 It took a long time for him and Splinter to mend their own relationship but even then Leo has never had….a real adult figure? And given all the terrible things he’s heard about Mama and Draxum and The Foot Clan, he wouldn’t be able to go full Babey mode for quite a while around them. That being said, even with his family back together and 4 additional parents in the mix, the moment Big Sister April walks in he goes FULL baby brother mode. 😂😂

#April is still April but her and Leo’s relationship is a lot more like canon Leo and Raph #splinter does eventually step up but for the first few years leo is almost fending for himself and then April becomes his primary caregiver #she teaches him how to read they go shopping together they just hang out and have fun and she helps set them up in the ‘condemned’ apartment #above hers… 🥺 she’s even the one who leads to his name. he didn’t…..have a name. before he met April. not even Blue (or green). just….. #‘my son’ 😢 #a lot of what she doesn’t isn’t exactly mothering Leo per say more like. calling splinter out on his bullshit. #she also gets formal ninja training with Leo tho so that’s cool #she’s also very encouraging of his goofball antics and him just….being a kid. #apple talks #parent trap au #rottmnt

I love Raph and haven’t said that enough so to be more specific I love that Raph is a soft boy who loves bear plushies, a gross boy who eats an assortment of things that are definitely better left alone, a smart boy who is more than capable of taking down villains through planning and fortitude alike, a strong boy who is dedicated to training his muscles and fighting prowess, a teenage boy who loves his brothers but is more than happy to tease and roughhouse with them, an angry boy who sometimes lets his anger take a hold of him to cover the fear, a gentle boy who is generous with hugs and affirmations to those he loves, a capable boy who takes on more than should ever be expected of a teenager, a good boy who just wants to be a hero and slowly comes to realize the cost of that duty, a good boy who has no reservations about putting himself in the way of harm coming to his family, a good boy who’s a great brother and son and person and deserves only the best the world has to offer.

A low growl came out from the back of his throat he always felt like the blood in his veins started to burn when he grew annoyed and flustered like this during training sessions. Of course, as predictable as it was it lead to another blow up from Raph. Hollering at his brothers before he stormed out from the dojo and made his way out from the subway tunnels. He needed one air and to get away from the rest of them for a bit just long enough to work out his anger. Of course because it was always him that was the issue wasn’t it? Pushing the manhole cover back into place before he made his way around the empty alley found himself in there was a fire case so he could sneak to a roof here in a moment. For not though? He looked around finding all kind of trash scarred around the perfect thing to vent out his anger on.

Most of the discarded stuff was busted already but it helped to bust old brooms over his knee and toss empty glass bottles against brick walls eventually lifting the tin trash can on its own. Lifting it high above his head to only throw it as best her could. His mistake as it came right back his way and smack aginst him.

Flat out on his back as he looked up ringing in his head as he took time to wait for his skull to stop throbbing. When the words came to him.

He furrowed up his forhead and quirked his beak to the side chewing that all over. "I don't resent them..." He didn't of course he didn't. "They just know how to make me mad. That's all Mikey's always messing around, Don's always calling me a baby and Leo." There was a pause as he laid on the ground. "Yeah I know I butt heads with him all the damn time I can't help it he just gets under my shell so easy!" He huffs moving his hands to rest onnthe ground as he starts moving to sit up now. "Mister perfect. Splinter Jr more like it. Dosent matter how many times I bear him in a match Leo's already seen as the better one. Better ninja, best choice for leader, better fighter, better mediator, better skills, better focus, better student the better brother the better son!" He began to list off the anger in his voice growing as he had listed each thing that crossed his mind. He didn't mean for the last bit to come out but it did. Closing his eyes tightly as he tried to clam himself down.

He heard it all the time his anger was an issue. His biggest flaw but he couldn't help it. "I know somethings wrong with me it always comes up...I don't know why...they all look at me like it so easy not to be...me. especially stupid Leo. It's like it all comes so easy for him and I just..." letting his fave drop into his hands a moment.

"I don't think I be a better leader, I've tried being leader and I almost lost Mikey and Donnie I froze up...I don't know how Leo can make those choices." Dragging his hands down his face as he sighs heavily. "I see it all the time dad looks at me doset matter hiw good a fighter I am ill always come short..." deep breath taken in "I thibk it be better if o was alone cause I don't think they need me."
