Agent Christine Cunningham is instructed to debunk an FBI project dubbed 'The Vecna-Files', paranormal cases that have been reopened by Agent Eddie Munson. Munson and Cunningham investigate the mysterious case of Hawkins which houses portals to a world called the 'Upside-Down'.
Cunningham is smart, logical, and keen to rise through the ranks of the FBI. She dots the i's and crosses the t's. She wants this mission to be a success and use it to make a name for herself. Munson is the opposite; brash, enthusiastic (to a fault), and disillusioned with the FBI. He truly believes in the paranormal forces.
Can these agents put aside their differences and work together to save Hawkins?
Every time I'm reminded that Eddie purposefully pulled down his shirt to show Chrissy his tattoo, I'm like...wow, boy, could you be any more obvious??? His flirting was off the charts. Love that for them.

He glanced at Chrissy as he carefully took the instrument off the wall and set it on his bed. She slept soundly despite the movie still playing, but spikes in the horror ambiance made her frown into his pillow. Turning the movie down, Eddie plugged a headset into his amp as well as his guitar. After testing the volume, he put the headset on the futon next to Chrissy's head.
Playing with a pick would be too loud on the strings, so he opened one of his music notebooks and warmed up with his fingertips. He glanced back at her while he worked through the soft chords and scales. She slept on, so he turned the page and started some gentle melodies. Some already existed, like Jimi Hendrix's "Wait Until Tomorrow," but Eddie weaved some improvisation through the songs—
"Who's this by?"
Eddie's head whirled around to see Chrissy smiling at him, head still half buried in the pillow. He smirked and replied, "Hendrix."
