okay but the parallel between Jyn saying “everyday they grow stronger” in the Rogue One trailer and Cassian saying “every day we wait, they get stronger.” in 1x10. are you kidding me i cant do this anymore
Not that he could say he's in it even if he wanted to, Ben Mendelsohn was deliciously evasive when quizzed by Collider as he discussed his new Apple TV+ project The New Look. With the presense of the Director of Advanced Weapons Research for the Imperial Military a seemingly logical choice, the Secret Invasion star dodged the query with some style. "Oh, in Andor? Yeah, I mean, maybe? Isn’t it coming to an end? I thought they had, like, five years left to go on that. Listen, I think Rogue One turned out fantastic. So, hold on. Have they shot it already?" "Well, I mean, who knows in that case? Maybe they’ll just do a Krennic backstory, but they'll have to shoot it quick or use a lot of CGI, you know? Krennic the Younger, or something, and then they'll get someone cheaper to play it, I'm sure. I could be there as an advisor to help the younger actor out, and just go, “Mate… Mate. Mate!” You know?" Liam Neeson made similarly evasive comments ahead of Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Mendelsohn himself made very clear his eagerness to return to the role back in 2019 when Andor was first announced, but whether or not he is in Andor or not, comment on our social media feeds and let us know if you'd welcome a Krennic return 9 years after we first saw him in Rogue One. Enjoyed the rough-dry-brush Vader doodle I made earlier this month so decided to do some more rough Vader sketches and the next thing I knew I was making a short animatic, heavily inspired by that one scene from Rogue One, tons of Samurai movies/manga/anime and ofcourse Genndy Tartakovsky's body of work.
I'm tempted to add more frames maybe even some gore and fix up the sounds(maybe add the cantina music in the bg) but that seems highly unlikely now that Ghost of Tsushima has finally been ported to the PC 👻
