Yesterday I saved water by taking shorter showers. By reducing the time, you spend in the shower, you manage to reduce water consumption. I also made sure to turn off the faucet while brushing my teeth, another good way to save water. My efforts to use water efficiently are not only environmentally friendly, but also help save money on my water bill.

"Preserving the Flow: A Water Conservation Crusade"
In the future, in the year 2200, water scarcity had reached critical levels. Humanity was desperate and looking for a solution that seemed impossible to find. However, in that moment of desperation, a group of young scientists, led by Piero, Ivan, and Juan Pablo, discovered an experimental time machine in the remains of an abandoned laboratory.
They decided to take a risk and use it to travel back in time, to a time when water management was more advanced and sustainable. They traveled to the year 2023, a time when there was still time to change the course of history.
Upon arrival, they met Jara, the Supreme Maximo of an environmental organization committed to water conservation. Jara was fighting to raise awareness about the importance of conserving water and promoting sustainable practices.
They joined forces with Jara and met Pierina, a hydraulic engineer passionate about her work, and Xavier, a scientist dedicated to the study of water purification technologies. With their combined skills, they formed a powerful team.
They worked tirelessly to influence the society of the past, showing the people and governments of the time the challenges they would face in the future.

STORY
"In the year 2023, Mihaela, Diana, Delia, and Vanessa found themselves in the midst of an unexpected water shortage during their trip to Uruguay. The rivers were dry, and the reservoirs seemed empty. Drought was ravaging the region.
As they discussed the gravity of the situation, Vanessa suggested, 'We should embark on a journey into the future to see how this water shortage will affect future generations.'
After gathering their resources, they utilized a time machine they had acquired from an eccentric inventor. They arrived in the year 2109 and were stunned to see the world immersed in an environmental crisis. Water scarcity had become a global problem of catastrophic proportions.
Delia asked a local man: 'What happened here, why is there so little water?'
The man, with a somber countenance, replied, 'The lack of water is due to a destructive cycle of events. Deforestation, pollution, and climate change triggered this crisis. No action was taken in time.'

The scientist nervously admitted: 'We were trying to gain power over nature and, in the process, we triggered a catastrophe. We made a grave mistake.'
With irrefutable evidence, they persuaded them to cease their experiments. Future water shortages were averted, and the world was able to bounce back.
Back in 2023, they noticed that the situation was improving. Environmental awareness had gone up, and steps had been taken to preserve water resources. Vanessa smiled and said, 'We did the right thing. We altered the course of history for the better.'
Delia nodded, 'We learned that our present actions can have a significant impact on the future. We must be responsible stewards of our planet.'

Story
My name is Mark, it is the year 2130 and water scarcity in the world has reached unimaginable levels. I remember when I was young and pork was worth 10 times more than a bottle of water. However, due to limited access to water a bottle now costs about $90. Consequently, the world's governments found out that extinction was inevitable and the time to stop pollution by changing our habits was over, we had to resort to desperate measures. As a result, they decided to pool effort, resources and technology to create a time machine and rewrite history by traveling to 2050 to alert the world of the coming catastrophe. In fact, for more than 25 years I was working alongside scientists from around the world under the personal supervision of President Prescott himself. He took command of the nations of the world and came up with the idea that a time machine was the best option. Moreover, as a politician he is like a mentor to me.
Finally, the day came, I took the nearest rocket train and went to the laboratory where the time machine was.
- Today you will be the one who saves our world Mark, don't forget you must visit Belgium and later attend the United Nations Meeting, you will explore a world before you were born so things will be a little different - Said President Prescott
- It is a great honor, I will warn everyone and I will never allow humanity to suffer from the thirst we experience today. -Mark responded.
- I know you will, that's why I will send a backup team and my personal robot Calvin, he will help you project all the chaos we are experiencing to the nations of the world so that they can see it with their own eyes.

At this time I felt very nervous but I knew what I had to do. I asked Calvin to project his images of our present and what I saw was absolutely heartbreaking, enough to convince the UN. Thanks to some perfect calculations we were able to appear in an empty office a few meters from the assembly. Later, when I was about to go in to tell them everything, Calvin stops me and says:

It was a valid argument so I let him come in, the other 3 stayed with me while we watched the rest of the meeting on a very old television. Then, we saw how Calvin approached the podium after another president's speech had finished. He was excited because after 25 years we managed to achieve our goal. Calvin presented himself to the world as a time-traveling robot who was going to give an important message. However, something very strange happened, Calvin began to show a video and photos of a perfect future, with a happy society, trips to different parts of the cosmos, a world without problems or crises, a future undoubtedly different from the real one.
- The course you have taken is the correct one, global warming never happened, and the world reached lasting peace thanks to the fact that it was governed under a single flag and a single government.
At that moment I understood that it was a trap and there was something more behind this trip, but when I wanted to quickly leave that room, the other 3 people who were accompanying me held me down and prevented me from leaving.
- You are so intelligent but at the same time so naive, Prescott only used you so that with the machine we could find his younger version and make sure that only he would be the owner of the drinking water companies in the world and one day become the oldest man. powerful in the world. I managed to throw myself to the ground before they shot them down. I couldn't stay there, Calvin was putting the future of humanity at risk so I ran towards the assembly and when I saw him speaking on the podium I didn't hesitate for a second and lunged at him to stop him. The leaders of the world were stunned by what they saw, but I was finally able to show them the truth. Using a computer I was able to show the world the harsh reality that awaits them if they do not change their habits. That the ambitions of a few were going to lead the majority to ruin, that now more than ever was the perfect time to change our habits and take care of a resource more valuable than diamonds: Water.

World Water Day is an annual event celebrated on March 22nd to raise awareness about the importance of freshwater resources and advocate for the sustainable management of water. It was established by the United Nations in 1992, following the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) held in Rio de Janeiro. To research and analyze the historical events of World Water Day.
One of the major problems this day has to confront is that most people don’t really care about it because they see it as something irrelevant. They are not conscious of the real importance of this element. They have tried to make it more attractive by selecting a theme for every year, for example this year’s theme is “Speed up the change” which makes people reflect about their water consumption.
In summary, World Water Day has evolved over the years from its establishment in 1992 to become a global platform for raising awareness about water-related challenges, advocating for sustainable water management, and promoting international cooperation to ensure water security for all. It continues to be a vital part of the broader global efforts to achieve water-related sustainable development goals.

Yesterday was a good day. I went to the Mall with my family to have a lunch -My sister and I didn´t want to eat at home- at the Food Court. A way that I save water was that we didn´t wash the dishes as everyday. At the evening, mom told to me to water the plants but I told her that the last night it rains a little. It also helped to save water.

STORY:
In the last 50 years, the world has faced up to a slow but steady decline, reaching a critical point of water scarcity. Oceans have dried up, rivers have disappeared and lagoons evaporate in seconds, with no chance of preservation. The cause of this devastation was wild pollution from factories that shrug off the consequences of their actions. In 2073, I understood how vital it is to take care of water, remembering the lessons of my childhood and my father's advice: "Take care, think, observe and then do what you think is right." I feel like I'm not acting on time. With less than 200 people in the world, we decided to create a time machine to correct the past.
After months of work, the time machine was ready, but we faced a dilemma: we did not know when and where to intervene in history. The first group, composed of Juan, Mendoza, and myself, had strong training. Marks on our skin would remind us of the mission, deep memories in our subconscious would guide us, and chips in our bodies would track us.
Our first time jump took us back 100 years, but we found no clear clues to change course. After 47 jumps, we decided to go back exactly 50 years, to 2023, meticulously planning every detail. However, upon arrival, the machine washed up and we were scattered around the world. Mendoza, the closest to the goal, began to explain the clues marked on his skin.
In 2073, unable to return without the machine, we were left waiting in Mendoza. Years passed and, eventually, Mendoza forgot his original mission, keeping only the importance of water and its care. He became a passionate supporter , affecting the future and changing the course of history. Desperate to return, Mendoza never managed to master the machine.
Eventually, Mendoza passed away, his story was appreciated by his family, and on the astral plane, he was reunited with his friends from the future-past where no one could believe what was happening. Juan said aloud, "WE MADE IT" as I jumped with excitement. Mendoza replied, "I am so confused about all of this, I thought we were never going to see each other." To which Juan replied, "We are always going to be there for you, brother."

Yesterday I was with my aunt in her house, and we were watching movies as usual, but suddenly we heard how some water started dripping from the faucet of the kitchen, so we went to close the faucet, but then we noticed some water were dripping from below. Some time later my uncle arrived and among all of us fixed the pipelines and avoid a massive waste of water

I save water by don't spend a lot of time taking a shower. I tried to don't use too much water when I wash the dishes or when I brush my teeth, wash my hands or my face. I didn't spend too much water for wash my clothes or give my pet a fast shower. I don't waste water for taking care my plant or flowers neither.
