Does a USB drive get heavier as you store more files on it?
Nope. Paradoxically (and theoretically), the more you save on a flash drive, the lighter it gets.
USB drives use Flash memory, which means the the ones and zeros of the data are stored on transistors.
When you save data, a binary zero is set by charging the float gate of the transistor, and a binary one is set by removing the charge.
To charge it, we add electrons, and the mass of each electron is 0.00000000000000000000000000091 grams.
This means that an empty USB drive (which mostly holds zeros) weighs more than a full USB drive (which has ones and zeros). Add data, reduce the weight.

My Keweisi USB Multifunctional Tester review (w/ my paper dolls) - Part 2 (Final) [Sept 14th, 2022]
(1st & 2nd Images) Alright, so for this final part, I’m testing out my Keweisi USB multifunctional tester with three functional devices. My 20000mAh Romoss power bank had dried out the energy juices, so now it’s time to charge up! Well, I would say an “unofficial” charging test, but, this is Keweisi’s USB multifunctional tester we’re talking about. 🙂⚡🔋⏱️
If you haven’t seen my 1st part (1st & 2nd half), then please click → [CLICK ME! #1], [CLICK ME! #2].
So, without further ado, let’s get started!
Record video 🎦📲 [Pls watch my record video.]:
• Okay so, to get this working test, I plug my Huawei USB wall charger before the multifunctional tester. Once the two combined, the tester lit showing the stats in rainbow color fonts. Nice! And then my two remaining tools to plug in. I should plug the USB type A first before hitting the power bank w/ my message USB type C cable. Once all set up, the tester is now timing and other parameters. And according to that, my Huawei USB wall charger is a 2A or 2 Amperes, which is a fast charger (if not certified as Quick Charge 3.0 technology ❌⚡🚅). (Please see 3rd & 4th images ↓).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
BTW: My paper dolls are wondering (and also you), why did I remove the micro USB adapter from the cable? 🤔 Well, we all know that the type C is better overall than the old micro USB.
• While it’s charging, I’m curious to see when I press the single button 🤔, and it turns out that I can save the charging data stats. This tester can save up to 9 slots 9️⃣💾. Another feature is to pressing twice it’ll change the display 🔘🔳. If you want more about it, please check out my scan image↓.

5th Image ↑:
• Okay so, while I added, I checked the parameter stats on my multifunctional tester & indeed recognized, from the temperature of 42 degrees of heat from the male USB plugged, to the numbers of Watts, Ohms, Milliamps per hour, Milliwatts per hour, Temperature, Volts, and the aforementioned Amps. Which is amazing. 🆒🙂
Tumblr media Tumblr media
6th & 7th Image(s) ↑:
• After long hours of charging, my Romoss power bank has once again fully charged. Although, the time from the tester still going instead of pausing. Luckily, I know the exact time, and it’s 7 hours, 7 minutes & 57 seconds 🕖⚡🔋. Compare to my last recorded on May 2021 was 7 hours & 28 minutes. “That was interesting,” my paper dolls said. Indeed. The USB tester is much more accurate than me using the stopwatch.🙂❌⏱️
Here are some comparisons: ○ Jan 22, 2021: using Anker Powerport 2 (Type C): 3:21 AM to 11:13 AM = 7 hours 52 minutes ○ *May 24, 2021: using Huawei Charger (Type C): 3:40 AM to 11:08 AM = 7 hours 28 minutes ○ Aug 22, 2021: using Anker Powerport 2 (w/ converter): 2:12 AM to 12:05 PM = 9 hours and 53 minutes ○ Aug 6, 2022: using Huawei Charger (w/ converter): 12:10 AM to 12:47 PM = 12 hours and 37 minutes (11 seconds)
And here’s the final stats from my 1st test (look at the ohms, mAh & mWh). (Please see 8th image.↓)
Tumblr media
IMPORTANT NOTE: I noticed when I booted my tester by plugging the Huawei USB charger, that the brand shows “KOWSI” instead of “Keweisi”. Is that mean that the company changed its name, or is the tester I’ve bought fake/counterfeit? I’m not so sure…😕
Overall & Price:
• Well, all brand name aside, this USB multifunctional tester is impressive & very helpful for giving information while charging your devices, connecting a USB thumb drive or any storage device onto a computer/laptop (which I haven’t tried yet, but, I decided not to attempt), or even connect through USB portable solar panel(s), etc… It can do pretty much anything with this USB flash drive look-a-like tester. The only “cons” I have are the pause time when it’s fully charged, and no USB covers for both males & females. Looks like I’ll be purchasing USB caps & covers (to prevent dust & rust), soon.😊🛒🌐
• As for the price tag of USB tester [CLICK ME!], the original price was cost ₱ 315 ($5.52) 🏷️💵 (shipping not included), but thanks with vouchers from 8.8 sale on Lazada PH I paid ₱263.20 ($4.61) w/ free shipping. What a steal! 🎫😃

My Essager USB Type C Cable 3A review w/ my Accezz Type-C To Micro USB Adapter and my Romoss Sense  6 Plus Pro Power Bank  (w/ my Paper Dolls) - Part 13 (Final)  [Aug 6, 2022]
Hi! Here’s the final part (part 13) of my Essager USB Type C Cable with my Romoss Sense 6 Plus Pro power bank [PH80 Pro], my Huawei USB Charging Brick, and my Accezz Type C to Micro USB Adapter (with my Paper Dolls).🙂⚡🔋
Well, my power bank is getting cold after a long inactive use since December of 2021, not to mention that my topic is also back to cold. 🧊 But now, I think it's time for me to end this once & for all. And for that, I only have one last charging test, this time, I'll have the right tool for the final part before I move on.
But, anyways, you know the drill, I won't explain it again though.
If you haven't seen my mistaken part 12 (which is supposed to end of my topic), then please [CLICK ME!].
So, without further ado, let's get started:
1st to 4th Image(s) ↑:
• [1st & 2nd images] Well, no time to explain. You've already seen these several times so as my paper dolls.
• [3rd & 4th images] Plugging in, and the charging time starts at 12:10 AM.🕛 Meanwhile, my paper dolls are hungry for paper food. You want some paper pasta? Yum-yum!😋🍝
Tumblr media Tumblr media
5th & 6th Image(s) ↑:
• After a long waited to charge my Romoss power bank, it's now finally full! And the time stops at 12:47 PM.🕛 The total estimate of time is 12 hours and 37 minutes (11 seconds). I'm still awake, to this day that I need two cups of coffee between breakfast & lunch just to wait to full charge my power bank.☕ Damn.🥱Even my paper dolls need a cup of joe, even though they're made of paper (so pls don't ask).
• Nonetheless, here are my comparison from my previous parts ↓:
○ Jan 22, 2021 [CLICK ME!]: using Anker Powerport 2 (Type C): 3:21 AM to 11:13 AM = 7 hours 52 minutes
○ May 24, 2021 [CLICK ME!]: using Huawei Charger (Type C): 3:40 AM to 11:08 AM = 7 hours 28 minutes
○ Aug 22, 2021 [CLICK ME!]: using Anker Powerport 2 (w/ converter): 2:12 AM to 12:05 PM = 9 hours and 53 minutes
○ Today: using Huawei Charger (w/ converter): 12:10 AM to 12:47 PM = 12 hours and 37 minutes (11 seconds)
• As you can see, my current latter had the longest charge time in my record books, the second was from August of 2021. Looks like I should stick with the Type C port plug for not only it's reversible unlike the old micro USB, but also charges decently fast than the micro USB.🙂⚡🔋🚅
Overall & Final Remarks:
• I would say, this is a pretty damn normal USB type C cable. And while it's not fast for my power bank (depending on how many mAh/milliampere battery is built-in), the only redemption itself was charging my honor 8C via USB charger brick that will take 2 hours before it's fully charged.
• Final remarks? As I said, it's a normal fast USB type C cable. Nothing much special except the nylon braided for extra protection from tangling, which is why I loved it. And you know what looks like I'll do some adjustments for my future USB cable reviews, like recording my charging time by writing a traditional paper & taking pictures to see the statistics. 🤔 But, more importantly, I need this helping hand. I would like to show ya, but I'll give a link for you 😉 → [CLICK ME!].
• And uh, I would to apologize for the long delay. I was so busy doing my own projects, as well as an online task(s) to make a tiny profit (which is not worth it sometimes), not to mention worrying about my 160GB hard drive (that contains my important files) which I can't work it out nor figure it out, to this day. It was a roller coaster ride for 2022. And the latter was pretty sad 😟, but I'll remain strong. 💪 So, I'll find the way to recover all of my files.
Well, that's the end of my topic!
If you want to see my previous parts of the same topic, then I'll provide some links down below.↓😉
