had a bout of late night maddness
so, anyone know of Haynes, who made manuals on how to use shit for basically anything? me and Dad found a Handley Page Halifax Haynes manual in a second hand bookstore for the relatively cheap price of $15 a book, and brand new as well. This was interesting because books here in nz you normally get brand new for $30-40.
Anyways, i was looking for the publication date, and after looking at the inside of the front cover, i looked at the back.
After 2 pages of sources and the index, i found the 2nd appendix, the particular part being labled Handley Page Halifax, all marks - performance data.
I was looking at the table, and i thought after looking for the plane that had the highest service height with maximum weight, what if this table was organised by the service ceiling at maximum height? so i went into docs and made this

may i present to you: what i started working on at damn near midnight last night. This is what i've got so far, and i might do this if i can get Haynes manuals for any other war planes (eg, the Lancaster or the Mosquito)

Junkers Ju 87A Stuka, unit, location and date unknown. Early model Stukas had these very large wheel coverings, which were removed from the B model onwards and replaced with more streamlined versions. Car ( the pilots?) is possibly a '37 Lancia Aprilla.
