(mikasa was found dead in the woods)

Alternate universe where ymir came back with historia instead of sacrificing herself for the warriors. Then they be like, okay everything is pretty hopeless let’s run and get married. (Ymir said yes) (Berth and Reiner died there)

In this AU a LOT of the main casts died bc they really fuck everyone over. Eren spiraled even more because mikasa dead 💀💀

Rumbling still happened but yumihisu survived being in the island. They won the idgaf war, happy ending for them only!!!!!

Friend killer wives 💖

(I also imagining eren wanting to kill them once he knew where they were but realized he’s envious of them being able to escape fate while he stuck to the cage so he avoided them, bc if he saw them he’ll go murder spree for mikasa)

Jean was the 15th scout commander, but not for long bc they all died trying to stop the rumbling.

Armin, Eren, yumihisu, and everyone in paradis survived. Eren and Ymir died from 13 yr curse

#i actually watched aot becuz of yumihisu but then i read the manga and i slapped my head and said #'shit why did they cut off so many scenes of them together'#them being erehisu #and then ymir fritz dropped and THEN i listened to that Linked Horizon song where a baby wailed at the end #then im like yooooooo fcuking hell theyre future parents to this poor girl omggggg #honestly i stumbled into erehisu by my own becuz after reading the uprising arc in the manga i felt like i had to do the ship justice #just cuz how overlooked it was and how i realized that they probably had the better chemistry #the more i looked into their characterizations and parallels to each other #like them being burdened putting up a fake facade just for others and having to come to terms to it #as well as the way their family shaped them (carla frieda and freckled ymir are the goats)#it wasnt much back then BUT THEN i read apple and lamp theory #and its soooooooo fucking beautiful it just seared into my mind forever.#Enemies To Humanity is something so unbelievable yet fascinating to me as a dynamic but it all clicked the moment i put it in its context #i dont support whatever the fuck the alt-right part of the fandom has of it thats another ball game #i ship erehisu in the way i percieve it to be the most fitting to the mature themes of the story #its not the first 'straight' ship i liked but it IS the first ship where i think it's ultimately superior to others including the wlw ships #thats why im so obsessed with them

Clueless Teens all grown up headcanons

I guess technically as the author I could declare this all fic canon but I think it's more fun to leave it open-ended so people can imagine their own things. Still, this is what I was picturing for them in the future. (Actually, for some of the couples, the kids I imagined for them got recycled over to my single parents au. Not Eremika's kids, but the other ones for the most part.)

Historia and Ymir have one daughter who they spoil the fuck out of. They also plan elaborate vow renewals approximately whenever they feel like it. When I was considering writing a one shot of them all grown up it was going to be everyone gathered at one of Yumihisu's destination vow renewal ceremonies.

Reibert. Oh gosh. They were going to "no homo" their way right to the altar and be very happy together.

Connie. He does not end up with Mina. I was of two minds with him: Either he is trying to find a milf to settle down with, or he is married to Sasha's cousin and they are struggling with fertility so he's the cool uncle with all the dogs and the secret pain of wishing they could have a child. I don't know why this is the case. It's just what I feel. Connie would be pretty much the ideal stepdad, imo.

Nicosasha. Again, I was of two minds! It's not realistic to have this many high school couples end up together in long term relationships/ marriages, but I also don't want to make anyone break up. Still, I can see Sasha and Nico having some kind of separation for a few years. Maybe getting married and then divorced and then marrying each other again ten years later or some shit. Why? I don't know. They are clearly very much in love, but that doesn't always last. Still, out of everyone I can see Sashe remarrying her first husband, with maybe a second husband in between. Greedy.

Aruani. These two go on their little date after Armin graduates and then proceed to not get together for another four years. Like, they still talk all the time and probably hook up when they see each other but they're like, "Meh, let's not do long distance. Let's keep it casual and if we still want to be together after college, we'll move in together immediately." It works for them and they eventually have a little boy, but Eremika are absolutely scandalized because they could never be so hands off.

Eremika. As you know, they have four kids super close in age. Mikasa makes a living streaming (she's the breadwinner. She's got that Azumabito business sense and Ackerman gaming skill) and Eren does civil rights law. So they have a pretty comfortable life and they spend a lot of time with their families. Eren walks around shirtless a lot, which is very popular on Mikasa's streams and he likes to come up and read the chats while she plays. If anyone tries to hit on her or says something sexual, he immediately loses his shit and starts threatening to find them and kick their asses. Mikasa is very pleased when she finally makes enough money to be able offer to fund Armin's dreams of opening a comics and games shop.

Pokkopiku. I think they also are the type to be parents to an only child. I'm thinking a girl. Pieck is very busy with her journalism career and Porco is living the stay at home dad dream. Maybe he becomes an influencer. He definitely keeps taking photos at every opportunity and he's got a bit of an online following. I think he might manage to book some gallery shows. When their daughter gets older he might get back into doing photojournalism again, and eventually they become a journalistic team once more, kind of like when they were in high school except this time with globe-hopping. I could see Pieck deciding to homeschool their kid so the whole family could go on assignments with her. In single parents au, I gave Porco twins, though (he's only in a couple scenes and we never meet his family, but he mentions them), and so I also kind of like the idea of Clueless Teens Pokkopiku having boy/girl twins. The point is, Pieck is willing to delay her career advancement long enough for one pregnancy and no more than that, so if they're going to have more than one kid, it has to be a multiple birth.

Am I forgetting anyone? I feel like I'm leaving someone out. I don't know! It's getting late and I have a few more things I want to work on before I go to be, so let me know who- Jeanmarco.

8. I don't really know if I think Jean and Marco end up together. I don't think they ever admit they have any kind of romantic feelings for each other because Jean is not totally comfortable with admitting to being bi at this juncture in time. I think they stay friends but Marco eventually moves on with a nice guy and Jean meets a nice woman who didn't know what a skeeze he was in high school and settles down with her and then eventually comes out when he's older and it's less taboo. He also does not revert back to being a creep.

I canny get over the way you characterise Ymir and Historia. Like Ymir, who people THINK is the equivalent of a scary dog, but she's actually a complete weenie. And then Historia, who looks sweet and innocent but is actually holding a detonator like "if you motherfuckers don't clap for my gf right now I'm blowing up this building." Absolutly unparalleled. I'm sorry for taking so long to respond to this, I wanted to leave it until I was feeling my best to give this a proper response

You appreciate the true, unfiltered essence that is YumiHisu. It's so cool to know I'm not the only one lol. Like yeah cutesy, innocent uwu girl Historia is a thing and I can enjoy it, but that's like, her literal façade in the anime. She's literally not an innocent, over-compassionate goddess. She's complicated, bitter and has no clue what she's doing.

Ymir acts super selfish to mask how much she actually does care. I love playing with these pieces of their personalities, and how they come together as a couple because of that. They compliment each other so well.

I still love YumiHisu. I think I will forever love them. It brings me so much joy to still get an ask about them, even so many years later and even yet, so long since I stopped writing.

Thank you for sending this. Thank you for enjoying my interpretation and presentation of them, and for taking your time to write this out to me. It really means so much.

I hope you, and others, can continue to enjoy my Ymir and Historia, because I do plan to still write for them. I'm just taking it slow as I take writing back up.

EreMika (Eren x Mikasa) omg do I even need to elaborate? First of all THE FACT THAT MIKASA LOOKS PRETTIER WHEN ITS IN ERENS POV? And not to mention the fact that in episode 12 Ian even says to Mikasa 'defend your boyfriend' in sub and in dub he said 'go save the man you love' also when Eren asked Mikasa what he is to her it was obious he wasnt wanting the answer "your my family" AND THE FACT THAT THEY KISSED IN THE FINAL EPISODE

NicoSasha (Niccolo x Sasha) LITTERALLY CANNON BUT ISAYAMA HATES LOVE APARENTLY. Niccolo looked mesmerised and looked so inlove while blushing when he saw Sasha CRYING over how good his food was. Omg and the way he reacted when his conrad called Sasha a 'filth blooded potato grubbing devil' MY MAN WAS GOING TO KILL SOMEONE and when he said "What is this brat someone specil to you? Is that why he tried to protect you earlier? You care about him huh? Well I used to care about someone too! A DIRT BLOODED ELDIAN! A DECENDENT OF DEVILS! THE WOMAN WHO ENJOYED THE FOOD I COOKED MORE THAN ANYONE ID EVER MET BEFORE! MikeNana (Miche x Nannaba) Ok listen. This isn't a mega huge ship I have I just think its really cute. Also everytime Miche and Nannaba interact omg its adorable. Thats about it.

KenUri (Kenny x Uri) THE WAY THEY INTERACTED WITH EACHOTHER OMGGG now I dont this its super inlove. I just think they were atleast a little inlove with eachoter. THEY ARE SOULMATES AND NO ONE CAN CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE! Also in the OFFICIAL AOT GUIDE BOOK THIS IS A CONVERSATION ISAYAMA HAD WITH AN INTERVEIWER Interviewer: "So he (Kenny) thought id he eliminated Uri, the world would become right again. But he lost the fight." Isayama: "Kenny's way of judging value is: 'The strong are in the right', and so for that reason he was attracted to Uri." YumiHisu (Yumir x Historia) This is gonna be short because it's obious this ship is cannon. Yumir always telling Historia "You are so gonna have to marry me after all this shit is over!" When Historia was with Yumir after the tower fell. The way they looked at eachother. The fact that Historia was more worried about Yumir than anything when Reiner and Bertolt reveled their titans and took Eren and Yumir. WHEN YUMIR SAID TO REINER AND BERTOLT "You guys have no idea what it's like. She knows what a shitty person I am, but she still smiles at me. I can't..." THE FACT THAT HISTORIA TOLD YUMIR "I will always be your ally" EVEN AFTER YUMIR BASICALLY ATE HER. HISTORIA PROTECTING YUMIR WHEN MIKASA ALMOST KILLED HER TO SAVE EREN! WHEN HISTORIA SAID "But with Yumir gone I've lost my purpose. I don't even know what I'm fighting for anymore." OMG NOT TO MENTION THE LETTER?! 'To my dear Historia, as I write this Reiner's standing at my side. He knows this is a love letter, but he's still sneaking peaks. Honestly, it's no wonder the creep's still single. That said.. he did give me his word that he'd deliver this letter to you. He says he owes me for the time I doubled back to save him. I'm sorry about then... As a fandom we failed to protect name of love as our own. We neglected it, didn't give the same attention we give to midnight sun! All I am seeing is other fandoms; erehisus, eremikas, yumihisus, eremins trying to make the song about themselves!

You're not wrong Anon. I think Midnight Sun rather eclipsed Name of Love as the quintessential Eruri song. I absolutely agree that Name of Love is their song though, and this is a hill I am willing to die on. I will be forever salty about the Season 3 ending. I mean just read these lyrics and weep.

yumihisu and reijean has some funny similarities if u think about it. one half paradis islander, the other half from the continent. angry asshole, sarcastic, tall, over protective brunette, suicidal, sometimes airhead, looks like they are chill but can explode anytime, great with children blondes. teehee

I'm dying, I'm literally dying to send them on a double date in one of my fics just to have: Ymir tease Reiner relentlessly, Reiner blush and stammer in response, Jean jump in to protect him as expected, and Historia finish them all with a feral SHUT UP heard from miles away before complimenting the cake they're having.

Maybe in the ONIM sequel...

Isayama really likes his mirrors and parallels. And he has a thing for certain relationship dynamics, too. :3 That's why I always, always go back to that one scene from the manga where Ymir says that she's just a piece of shit, but Krista loves her anyway. And that Reiner and Bertholdt surely don't know what it's like.

But Reiner knows now. 🥹🥹

Of course I want to share, I love oversharing about my ships HAHA. So here you go, a (short) list of my SNK OTPs:

LeviHan

(pretends to be shocked). No, but I'm not even kidding when I said that they live in my head 24/7 🤣 Everytime I do or see something, I would automatically connect it to Levihan. I just can't help it lol, I love them so much (both as a character and as a ship). Their relationship is mature and pure but fun at the same time. I mean, they embody all of my favourite tropes, so no suprise here. But idk, there are no other ships (that came before them or after them) that could alter my brain in the same way as them. They changed me fr, like something shifted inside me the moment I became a Levihan shipper. Hell, I even chose my uni major because of a Levihan fanfiction 💀 Not only that, my writings and English has improved a lot, and all of that merely because I want to write their fanfic LOL.

I've been a Levihan shipper since 2013 and I will continue to be one until I die. So yeah, expect to see more Levihan fanfiction for more decades to come 😚✌️

AruAni

They don't really live in my head 24/7 but I still think of them often. Also, they hold an important place in my heart since they are my first ship in SNK. Not only that, they are also special to me because they are THE ship that went from being considered as a crack ship to a canon one. LIKE IT WAS INSANE. I mean I've been an Aruani shipper since 2013 and so I knew how small the fandom were back then. Not only that, most of the SNK fandom saw AruAni as a crack shipper, but we were like, "No! They are not! (proceed to analyse the hell out of their interaction in the female titan arc)." 😀👍

So imagine how SHOCKED and ECSTATIC I WAS when all of these analysis and headcanons CAME TRUE. It took us almost a decade, but we finally got to say, "See guys? WE ARE NOT DELUSIONAL." I never been proud as a shipper HAHA. One of my biggest flex is to say that I've been an Aruani truther since 2013 😎

Okay now that I think about it, the only ships that I deeply care about are only the two above. I do like other ships, but only in a casual way (but I still gonna defend them though LOL), and those are:

YumiHisu

I used to be neutral with them but when that episode of Historia holding the passed out Ymir on her lap and said, "My real name is Historia", then they stared at each other eyes with such love???? BEAUTIFUL I SAY. Their dynamic and the way their characters arc intertwined with each other? Love it! I wished Isayama gave them a proper closure though :(

JeanKasa

Oh man, I actually have a lot of things to say about them but I'm gonna keep it brief🤐 I didn't ship them at the beginning, but as I grew up and as I tried to understand their characters, I found myself falling for JeanKasa and their potential. I feel they will have a healthy, mature, and loving relationship. I also like the way Jean showed his love to Mikasa (he's not selfish and he's not blinded by his love).

Skittish (Cadet!Porco x Ackerman?Reader)

Summary: Reader and Cadet!Porco is on a mission to save Daz.But they both have some secrets. Yumihisu rip-off but Porco understands Paradis folks are no evil.

While one of your hands desperately grabbed the oil lamp,you kept holding onto the ropes on your shoulder with the other. You persistently kept dragging the half-dead man at the other end of the rope, despite the deterrent snow beneath your feet.

''Just give up."

On top of that, you still had to deal with Porco's spiteful comments here and there as he casually walked behind you.

''By the time you make it to the base, he'll be a goner anyway.''

Regardless of how many times you tried to ignore him,he still kept insisting on abandoning Daz to his fate.

"If you keep this going, we'll die here too.''

''Shut up! He's not dead yet.''

''But he will. He should've known his limits better; he simply wasn't cut out to be a soldier.''

He simply wasn't cut out to be a soldier...

As his voice echoed in your mind, you glanced back to take a good look at the owner of it.

You looked at him hard, trying to find a single flaw to prove him wrong, but it was pointless. İf there was someone out there who was cut out to be a soldier, it was Porco. Considering the way Shadis never dropped him from his tongue,you were sure as hell that he was going to be in the top five.

You shakily muttered, ''What would you know, dumbass.'' but that was all you could come up with.

''I know that you'll freeze to death if you don't drop him.''

You gritted your teeth with the forced realization of your numb hands and feet. Despite the thick cadet uniform you wore, you've been cold for a long time now.

''Then nevermind us and go save yourself.'' you said as you tried to pull your head-piece up, but suddenly you stepped into a cavity and found yourself buried in the snow.

You tried to get up as soon as you fell, but you heard Porco's sigh anyway. You heard his hurried footsteps while you dusted off the snow on your uniform,you abruptly stopped when you felt his hand on your shoulder.

''Hey, why haven't you asked me to help you at all? But you want me to just leave you be?''

It was hysterical how he was the one that managed to freeze your blood,and not the biting cold.

You slowly lifted your gaze off the ground to look up at his face. His eyes were shining mischievously as the corner of his lips curled upward.

''You are planning to die here with Daz,huh? I never imagined you'd have a hero complex, though.''

''N-not that,you just insisted on leaving him since we started, so I thought-''

''You're almost as suicidal as Eren, aren't you?''

You tried to reply to him by shaking your head, however you were caught red-handed. Since you were too shaken to answer, he kept going with the same glint in his eyes.

''Well... After all, hypothermia sounds better than getting eaten alive.''

''That's not your business.'' You said and pushed his hand off your shoulder to go back to Daz, but Porco firmly grabbed you by the waist and pressed you to the nearest tree.

''You are that Ackerman, aren't you? The one Pixis mentioned, I can't believe I've finally found you.''

You were stuck between the sturdy tree and his body. You hated how close his handsome face was to yours,you hated his venomous words too, but you hated the predatory way his eyes shone the most.

You really wished to have some extra time so you could enjoy the hands on your waist a little longer without feeling guilty. But that was the issue already. There was never enough time for you.

''I'm not an Ackerman." you said and closed your eyes to lay your head back on the tree.

''Huh? Then why would they bring up an underground criminal to cadet corps?''

''I told them that I was.''

''No way... Stupid girl!" he yelled in disbelief and slammed his hand against the tree behind you. ''Now you have to join the survey corps. Why would you ever do that?!''

''I was just trying to live for an another day! I never saw a titan before, I thought it was a lie!'' Through the dim torch light, you saw the way his eyes opened up in shock.

''Y-you...damn, I can't believe you!'' As soon as you heard his broken scream, your feet were cut off from the ground, and you found yourself rolling down a hill. When your back slammed a tree,thick snow covered your vision. You assumed that he threw you off his shoulder.

As you tried to dig through the surrounding snow with your hands, you screamed his name top of your lungs with anger. You couldn't believe how daring he could get. Then you heard a crash, and the ground shook. When you finally made your way out of the layers and layers of snow,both Porco and Daz were gone.

After spending hours on the spot Porco left you, you've finally decided to live for an another day no matter what. Therefore, you inevitably accepted a more cruel death than you were about to experience.

While you passed in front of the wooden barracks, you took a look inside to see Daz getting treated. You didn't understand how Porco made it down so fast.

You instantly turned to your side,you weren't sure if you heard it right. But the grim expression on his face as he looked deep into your soul was more than enough to explain everything you had to know, for now.

Everyday I think about how lucky historia was to have ymir, if only for 3 years, when you consider how characters sharing similar struggles did not have a ymir in their life soon enough

someone who's only ask was for historia to live for herself and with pride, letting historia herself decide what life will lead her to self love. Someone who's words stopped historia from inheriting the founder and making an irreversible decision like many did before her.

Someone who pretty much burst through Historia's walls and fake persona and called her out. Yet despite knowing all the parts of her historia wanted to keep desperately hidden, ymir still loved her anyway, if not more

The fact that they truly found authentic connection with eachother and historia had her endless and deadly chase for validation and love broken because of ymir.

I'm being so serious like the story would be much shorter if certain characters had a relationship like yumihisu

By certain characters I mean I'm thinking of like two or so

ALSO editing this to say that the lines in zero eclipse "did you think that you could die a hero? Our awakening means less than zero" and "but if there's no desire to get back out alive, you're a hero?" Are extremely relevant
