2024 Discount Options
Well, ladies and gentlemen, it is now time to announce the Discount Options for 2024. Yes, you read that correctly. These are the discount options for the whole year. Now, one thing must be made clear: THESE OPTIONS WILL NOT BE OPEN ALL YEAR ROUND. Discounts will be offered in February, April, July, and October. If you have an eligible story signed up for any of those months, discounts will apply. If you do not, then the discounts do not apply. However, this same list will be used throughout the year; I will link you all back to it as a reminder during applicable months. As a result of this, I will be offering more options than usual. There 50 characters you can choose from, separated into a number of categories. In order to be eligible, the character must play a major role in the story, such as the main protagonist/antagonist, or a strong supporting role. Every given month the discounts apply, ONE commissioner may use ONE of these characters at a time; if you are looking at this during a discount month, and see a character listed as [TAKEN], that means they will not be eligible again till the next discount month opens. With so many characters to choose from, I am hoping there will be no lack of desirable options for at least one, if not both, of the sites I presently write comms for (FA and Tumblr). If you choose a character on the discount list, your commission fee will be brought down from $15 per thousand words to $10 per thousand words. It is the same discount that applies to my OCs, which does last all year round, so they will not be listed here. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, contact me via private message. Do not attempt to claim anybody or talk business in other regards by commenting on this or any other journal or submission. Shouts are right out. Attempts to do so will be deleted, and possibly ignored. With that said: NEXT ELIGIBLE DISCOUNT MONTH - FEBRUARY (OPENING DATE: 16TH)

What Hides In The Dark
Tumblr media
Anonymous requested: Hello. May I request a imagine about Tim Drake being a werewolf and only his S/O can calm the wolf down if he lose control (this purely inspired by a fic lol).
Word Count: 1423
Pairing: Werewolf!Tim x Reader
Rating: Mature
Synopsis: Your boyfriend, Tim Drake, is a werewolf, and when he escapes, it’s up to you to make sure he’s safe
The full moon was high in the Gotham sky, it’s pale silver glow illuminating the city bellow. The streets were silent at this time of the night, save for the occasional rumbling of a passing car. Most law abiding citizens would never, under any circumstance, leave their houses after the sun disappeared below the horizon. The nights belonged to the criminals and the vigilantes.
And to you. You didn’t belong to any of the two categories, but you still had your place in the darkened streets. Always lurking somewhere in the middle of the good and the bad, you wandered by this cursed city way past midnight, looking for the beings of shadow and fear. If the vigilantes kept the city safe from thieves and murderers, you kept it safe from demons and monsters.
Despite sharing the cover that the darkness offered, the worlds of nature and magic barely ever crossed paths. It wasn’t your duty to fight serial killers, and it wasn’t Batman’s duty to send ghosts back to where they had come from. You didn’t even know if he acknowledge the parallel battle happening in the city.
Your mission had been passed to generation after generation of your family. Your bloodline possessed the rare ability to see behind the mask of reality, and considered their sacred duty to keep the supernatural at bay. You lived to protect the others from what they couldn’t see.
But sometimes, fate had a funny way of uniting people. Murderer by day, werewolf by night, Kyle Abbot had proven himself a menace in all forms. It was investigating Abbot that you first ran into Robin. The chemistry was explosive. You didn’t believe in love at first sight before, but it was the only way to explain what had happened in the moment your gaze crossed his.
The two of you had a lot in common: both were warriors fighting the battle against the darkness, living a secret life surrounded by mysteries and lies. Neither of you had many friends, and in each other, you and him found companionship. You should have known better. You should have seen it coming. For you knew that no good things happened when magic and nature mingled.
During the fight, the werewolf’s claws pierced Robin’s suit, scratching the skin. After the police had Abbot under custody, you immediately treated Robin’s wounds. But it was too late, the damage had been done: in the next full moon, he would be transformed into a wolf and there was nothing you could do to stop that. In a strange way, his new condition brought the two of you closer. You began to meet him daily, going out every day after class. He trusted you with his real identity, and you trusted him with yours.
In the days leading to his first shifting, you arranged a safe space, a place he could stay when his bones cracked to accommodate his new form, and his hair grew to cover his whole body. You kept Tim company during the full moons. You protected him and prevented him from doing harm to others. Even in his irrational wolf form, he began to bond with you: his animal self becoming loyal to you.
But even the best engineered cages sometimes fail, and that's how you found yourself running around Gotham, following the trail of bloody footprints staining the gray concrete. You found him cornered against the wall of a dead end, a huge wolf with reddish-brown fur, jaw open, revealing the sharp fangs, and claws ready to attack. Blocking the entrance of the alley, there was a man wearing a black suit with a blue, bird-shaped design in his chest. He wielded escrima sticks, ready to defend himself from the creature.
“Dick!”, you shouted, not needing to see the man’s face to recognize him as Tim’s adoptive brother. “Don’t hurt him!”
Nightwing turned, and the moment his eyes left the wolf, the animal jumped on top of him, it’s weight bringing him down.
“Tim! No!”, you commanded, voice slightly unsure. What if he doesn’t listen to me?
But he did. The creature’s head snapped in your direction, eyes glowing yellow like embers. A thick thread of saliva hang from its open mouth, dripping into Nightwing’s cheek.
“Tim”, you tried again, testing if he was indeed reacting to your words. The wolf blinked expectantly. “Please, I need you to back away.”
There was a beat of silence, but then he slowly let go of his older brother. You smiled and nodded at Tim, and gave a tentative step towards him. His fur bristled up and quicker than your eyes could register, he ran past you, disappearing between the buildings and cars.
Dick pushed himself back onto his feet. “What did you do to my brother?”, he inquired, anger making his skin burn red. He towered over you, and your heartbeat quickened.
“What?”, you exclaimed. How dare he blame me for this? “How is this my fault?”
He poked your chest with a gloved finger. “He starts dating a witch and suddenly he became a werewolf? I’m pretty sure it’s your fault.”
“I’m not a witch”, you said through gritted teeth. “I can use magic, but I’m not a witch.”
“It doesn’t matter. Just undo whatever you have done.”
“I did nothing!” And then realization hit you. “You didn’t know, did you?”
“What are you talking about?”
“Tim never told you or Bruce that he is a werewolf.”
A unreadable expression took over Dick’s face. “How long? How long has he been like this?”
Your lips curved in a pitiful smile. “Six months. It’s kind of what brought us together.”
He closed his eyes, rubbing a finger in his forehead. You had noticed Bruce did the same thing when thinking. Finally, he sighed. “I’m sorry I accused you. But we need to find him, before someone hurts him.”
“Or he hurts someone”, you completed.
* * *
It took half an hour for you to find Tim again. For a large animal, he was surprisingly good at hiding. Fallen leaves in shades of brown, red, yellow and orange covered the ground of Robinson Park. Chewing noises came from a bush, and you ran the remaining distance. Crouching on the grass, the wolf devoured a blood covered bunny.
You approached him carefully. “Timmy”, you called and once more, he stopped what he was doing to look at you. You took a deep breath and kneeled on the ground, so your face would be level with his. Your actions were measured, you were afraid of scaring him away once more.
His animalistic gaze held yours and you dared to reach a hand out. It hang awkwardly in air for a second, before Tim moved forward, burying his snout on your palm and licking it greedily. You raised your other hand to caress his ears and he barked, seemingly at ease.
“Good boy”, you whispered.
Nightwing handed you the collar and leash he had picked over during your search. And while you hated having to use those on Tim, you had to agree it was the best way to bring him back to your hideout.
Making Tim walk back into the cage was complicated, as he would often try to race after passing cars or pick fights with street dogs, but after a long journey, you and Dick managed to successfully secure Tim inside it. You checked the padlock twice, and cast a spell just to be sure, before turning your back to the cage.
“I should go”, Dick said, running the back of his hand along his forehead to clean the droplets of sweat that had formed during the mission. “I’ll talk with him tomorrow.”
“Try not to judge too much. I know it’s complicated and unusual, but he’s still the same person he was before”, you told him before waving your goodbyes.
Once Dick was gone, you sat on the wooden rocking chair you usually used and stayed awake until the sun rose. You always hated seeing the transition: the cries of pain that escaped Tim’s throat made your heart break. He blinked once, then twice, his brain adjusting to the return of his human senses.
“Hey, you”, you said, rising to open the door.
“Hey”, Tim answered, his voice sore and sleepy. He stumbled onto his feet and hugged you, head resting on your shoulder. “Thank you.”
“What for?”, you inquired.
“For being here. For helping me.”
You smiled and kissed him. “It’s you and me, Tim Wolf. You and me against the world.”

Heyo! Since your requests are open I was wondering if you could do a Damian Wayne x male reader. So basically the reader is Damian's older brother (somewhere around Tim's age) and just spending the day together at the mall, (Maybe going to build a bear since I can bet he's never been there).
Thanks so much <33
Tumblr media
You were probably the only one of the Bat family, besides Dick, that Damian, Dami, Wayne Liked. It wasn’t that hard for him to like you. You were Y/N Wilson Wayne, son of Slade Wilson A.K.A. Deathstroke the Terminator. You were trained to be an assassin since you could stand. Bruce adopted you after the ENTIRE Justice League was called in to take Slade down. Given Slade’s track record with his children, Grant, Joey, Rose, It was no surprise that Slade had trained you. Bruce took you in around the time Tim started as Robin. There was no way you could forget your training so Bruce let you in on the family business. Red Bat. You were named that because of your brutality and the amount of blood you spilled. You were by no means as deadly as Jason but your training dictated that you put an enemy down. Bruce understood this and while he did not like it he understood that you suffered from a form of PTSD where you had no choice but to obey what Slade tahut you.
When Damian came to live with the Bat family you were the first one that Damian respected. He could not beat you. You were Tim’s age and you have the same genetic enhancements that Slade did. You refused to think of Slade as your father. Damian was entrusted to you when Bruce and Dick were too busy to take Dami on patrol. He seemed to listen to your orders Faster than Bruce and Better than Dick. Dick would never tell you but he was jealous that Damian listened to you better than him.  It was a rare day off and you needed to head to the mall. You always headed to the mall when you had a day off and It just so happened that Damian wanted to go as well. You hid your smirk. You knew Damian just wanted to be with you. And you have no problems spending your time with your baby brother.
You knew as soon as you saw the shop you had to drag Damian in. Build a bear workshop, it’s a Bat Family tradition. Every member had gone with Bruce to get one. Dick got an elephant, Jason a wolf, Tim a Monkey and you a Texas longhorn. You knew Bruce would do it but you knew that Damian needed to take part in the traidation. You knew Bruce would make an exemption.
As you led Damian to the store He sent you a murderous look. He didn't know about the tradition as part of the tradition was that people weren't informed of it until after it had been completed. You sent him to go pick one. Damian sent you an inquiring  look. You suppressed a chuckle as he picked out a Batman one. As you two stood in line to have it stuffed Damian decided to ask the question that had been on his mind since you entered the store.
“Willison, Why did we enter this childish shop?” Damian asked quietly as to not draw attention. You couldn’t keep the smile off your face. “I’ll tell you after you're done. And if you don’t lose your temper then we’ll get ice cream, deal?” You asked, knowing that it would get the former assinan to agree. Damian nodded his head. You were very happy to find that he kept the Sarcastic comments to himself.
When everything was done and paid for Damian was happy. He didn’t know why but he was. It was when they were sitting in the food court that Damian asked his question. “Why did you make me do that, Willson?” It wasn’t spoken with the usual amount of hatred, Damian was honestly wondering why You had him participate in the tradition. “Well, It’s something that goes back to when Dick was first adopted. You see, when we all came to Bruce we were scared, angry, sad, confused, grieving. Bruce knew this. He wanted us to have a friend. So he brought us here and let us pick our first friend. I was never Robin. I’m the son of one of his worst enemies. He went out of his way to make me feel welcomed. You, Damian, Push everyone away except for me, Dick, Bruce and Alfred. You need something to pour your heart out to. Yes it's childish, But I still do it. You need to. You need to feel a part of the family. Because, despite your background, You Damian Al-Gaul Wayne, are a part of this family.” You never lost your sincere smile. You could see the tears in Damian’s eyes, despite the sunglasses. You and him Finished your Ice cream and left to head home. It was in the car that Diaman said the thing you wanted to hear the most.
“Thank you Y/N. Thank you for treating me like a member of the family. For treating me as more than a weapon.” You hid your smile but you knew you broke Damian’s first wall. “Anytime baby bat. anytime.”

A few months ago, I stayed in the dorms with some of my classmates and we played Werewolf (the card game) and at the end of the week, when I was riding the bus back home, I came up with some kind of a Werewolf AU with Maribat and the note is rotting in my draft and since I’m cleaning my notes, I guess I’ll just put it here?
Based on card game Werewolves of Miller’s Hollow and took place in a town/city that was the mix of Paris and Gotham or something along that line. We only had twelve people per room so there wren’t much variety and I had to look up some more cards.
Mari was the daughter of bakers and was the little girl when she was younger (Card: Little Girl) and later was the apprentice seer to Fu, working under the alias of Ladybug (Card: Apprentice Seer) and then became the Seer when Fu passed (Card: Seer)
Fu was the Seer and went under the alias of Jade Turtle (Card: Seer) and also mentored Mari until one day, he died and passed the mantle to Mari
The knowledge of the Seer was well-kept and most people didn’t know about who was the Seer so people like Alya looked up to Ladybug as their protector
Luka was the Priest, who also worked in the shadows and cooperated with the Seer and the Witch and since the mantle of the Priest was passed down by his mother, who played the role of the Priestess when she was younger (Card: Priest)
Kagami was the supposed Huntress, which she was trained into by her Mother as the ex-Hunter was a friend of her mother and he chose her to be his legacy but ended up as the Witch as the ex-Witch, a.k.a the lover of the ex-Hunter passed her mantle to her first (Card: Witch)
Chloe wasn’t supposed to get a role but the ex-hunter passed her his role because of the fall out he had with his lover over her choosing Kagami (Card: Hunter)
The system was that Mari would scry and if someone was a wolf, they contacted the Hunter through Kagami, who then passed the info about the wolves’ target to Luka or if the situation was dire, she would cook up a cure or if their target wolf escape, they would try again with Kagami’s poison
Bruce was the Big Bad Wolf a.k.a Alpha Wolf, couldn’t be scried as a wolf by the Seer and working to rule Paris/Gotham by fear (Card: Big Bad Wolf)
Barbara was the Sorcerer, hunting down the Seer and her position was kinda snatched up by herself a.k.a she fought for it from the ex-Sorcerer, who operated outside of Batfam to return the role into the fold as per order from Batman (Card: Sorcerer)
Dick was the Wild Child whose role model - Mary Grayson - died and he became a wolf and was taken in by Bruce who trained him and stuffs (Card: Wild Child)
Jason was the Cursed and became a wolf when he was bitten by Joker - who was the Lone Wolf - and was taken in by Bruce who found him on the streets (Card: Crused)
Cass was the Doppelgänger at first (Card: Doppelgänger) and her father wanted to use her to steal the role of the Big Bad Wolf to get control over the wolves but she broke free and chose the ex-Spellcaster and when Bruce found her, she wanted to help her family and he ordered the ex-Spellcaster executed and Mari and co failed to save him so Cass ended up as the Spellcaster (Card: Spellcaster)
Tim was the Wolf Man while his mother had been a normal werewolf and Bruce took him in when his mother was killed and his father found out and shunned him and his father kinda disappeared too and no one knew why - Jack Drake was executed by the Wolf Man - and was kinda the spy for the Wolves’ faction (Card: Wolf Man)
Stephanie was the Lycan who allied with the wolves because of prejudice she received from being a child of the ex-Wolf Man and Bruce kinda took her in after Tim struck out on his own (Card: Lycan)
Damian was the Wolf Cub because somehow he took after Bruce and not ended up as a vampire like his mother’s side of the family (Card: Wolf Cub)
Alfred was a Minion who worked with Bruce’s parents in the past and raised him and took care of the others (Card: Minion)
And I think that’s it. There are still other characters and I could only write that much on one bus ride before carsickness hit.

tv show favorites
Tagged by @panchostokes. I have... so many shows I love, but I’m sticking with my main three:
CSI LV
Favorite character: David Hodges
Favorite episode: 08.08 You Kill Me
Favorite moment: Basically my 14.07 Under a Cloud tag (yes, they’re multiple scenes, but shh)
Favorite couple: Henry/Hodges
Favorite lab rat: hnnnnng god it’s so hard to choose I love all of them - Henry Andrews? I’m definitely glad he became more of a main character, because I got really attached to him back when his appearances were still sporadic and few and far between
Favorite recurring character: I'm not sure if she really counts, but! Xiomara Garcia definitely shoulda gotten more screentime. I was so ready to love her, and then after S12 they decided they weren’t gonna use any lab rats who weren’t main cast anymore, which I am Salty about :/
CSI: Miami
Favorite character: Tim Speedle (though Ryan Wolfe is a close second)
Favorite episode: 08.15 Miami, We Have a Problem
Favorite moment: “Look at this tux! You look gorgeous.” - Ryan @ Jesse in 08.09 Kill Clause (linking the gif bc oh my god, I am  l o s i n g  m y  m i n d)
Favorite couple: The last question is really making me lean hard toward Ryan/Jesse rn, but tbh it’s a toss-up between Speed/Eric, Eric/Ryan, and Ryan/Jesse
Favorite lab rat: idk, like, I know we got quite a bit of Maxine Valera and Dan Cooper, but we never really got as much of a focus on the lab rats as in LV unless they became field mice, which is a shame. I was always fond of Maxine, though, and also Tyler Jenson.
Favorite recurring character: Yelina Salas
MacGyver
Favorite character: Mac
Favorite episode: 01.04 Wire Cutter, a.k.a. Old Married Russian MacDalton
Favorite moment: “Don’t you know a lost cause when you see one?” / “No. I don’t. One of my many character flaws. This is how it works. You watch my back, I watch yours.” - Jack and Mac in 02.12 Mac + Jack (and really all of the “If you go kaboom, I go kaboom” moments)
Favorite couple: Mac/Jack
Favorite recurring character: Jill Morgan
Tagging: @rebelqueenofthediscovery and whoever else would like to do this!

HERE’S WHAT YOU MISSED THIS WEEK (10.2-10.8.19):
NEW MUSIC:
·         Pop star Carly Rae Jepsen went alternative with her new cover of the classic ska track “Don’t Speak” by No Doubt. The cover was part of the artists Spotify Singles series, where she also re-recorded her song “Want You in My Room.”
·         Speaking to Radio.com, Pete Wentz revealed how Fall Out Boy was inspired by OutKast’s “Hey Ya!” while writing their newest song, “Dear Future Self (Hands Up).” “It’s got kind of a ska undertone to it, it’s a weird song,” he said. “It works for Fall Out Boy and Wyclef together, which seems like it would never work on paper in a million years.”
·         Teen Wolf star, Tyler Posey, introduced his new band, Five North, with their debut single, “This Mess.” The actor is no stranger to the music world, previously performing with his pop-punk act PVMNTS.
·         Alternative artist JUMEX just released a new song “Spraypaint” with Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker. The single comes after the artist dropped his debut Loner EP earlier this year.
·         Twenty One Pilots released a new vertical video for their song “The Hype,” on top of the “Surplus Collection” merchandise line. The band’s new video can be found on Spotify, and they made the announcement via their Instagram account.
·         Anti-Flag are returning with a brand new politically-charged single titled “Christian Nationalist” alongside a lyric video. The new single arrives as the band continue to work on the follow-up to their 2017 record, American Fall, and their Live Vol. 2 record that dropped earlier this year.
·         Simple Creatures have debuted their brand new track “One Little Lie” ahead of their Everything Opposite EP release slated for this Friday. Originally, the band debuted the track back in April during a live performance at Hangar – London Fields.
TOUR ANNOUNCEMENTS:
·         Simple Plan, State Champs and We the Kings announced the supporting act for their upcoming U.S. tour. Northbound, a.k.a. Jonathon Fraser, will be supporting the aforementioned bands during their fall run.
·         Sum 41 frontman/guitarist/co-founder, Deryck Whibley, shared a photo of the band’s setlist after a Pittsburgh show last Tuesday night. The band have just begun their fall world tour that celebrates the 15th anniversary of their album, Chuck, and their latest record, Order in Decline.
·         Silverstein are celebrating 20 years as a band in the biggest and best way possible with the announcement of a massive North American tour. The band will be performing three sets throughout the tour.
·         Grayscale gave “Tommy’s Song” an emotional live debut with a gospel choir in their hometown of Philadelphia this past Saturday night. The song is a tribute to frontman Collin Walsh’s late cousin.
OTHER NEWS:
·         Vans finally revealed their full Nightmare Before Christmas collection after some photos were shared online. The line, inspired by the Tim Burton film, featured 10 shoes, apparel and accessories.
·         MTV dropped the nominees for the 2019 European Music Awards that include nods for Twenty One Pilots, Panic! at the Disco, the 1975, Billie Eilish and more. Additionally, Green Day, Avril Lavigne and more are up for some of the night’s biggest awards.
·         Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker achieved the number 1 spot on Billboard’s Rock Songwriters chart due to his various collaborations. In addition to the top spot, he has 15 songs that include his songwriting credits on Billboard’s Hot Rock Songs chart.
·         Popular music competition show, The Masked Singer, just started its second season, and fans think that Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco may be hiding under one of the masks. Fans guess who is under the masks as the competition progresses, until a winner is picked and reveals their identity.
·         Nirvana‘s Krist Novoselic came to Nickelback‘s defense the other day after Fox News took a shot at the band. The bassist, involved in politics, has now tweeted a response to the story that originally ran with a message for the POTUS and congress to focus on politics instead of grunge bands.
·         Since the end of September, Waterparks have been putting their fans to the ultimate test with an international scavenger hunt to unveil the full tracklist to their forthcoming album Fandom. Fans in cities such as Manchester, Boston, Dallas, London, Houston, Toronto and more were each given the task of tracking down a song within their city.
·         Netflix announced the forthcoming animated holiday film today with a trailer featuring the Panic! at the Disco track “High Hopes.” Slated to hit Netflix on November 15th, Klaus will tell the story of an “unlikely friendship that launched a legend.”
·         Cassadee Pope posted a cryptic tweet on Hey Monday’s album anniversary yesterday. It marked the 11-year anniversary of the band’s debut album Hold on Tight, which they released with Decaydance Records.

Moriarty the Animal
So, a couple of people - including @belliesandburps - asked me how I would cast an “anthro-ified” take on Moriarty the Patriot. We’ve all seen movies and books where anthropomorphic animals take on the roles typically personified by humans; Disney’s Robin Hood is probably the most famous example, where Robin is a fox, Prince John is a lion, the Sheriff is a wolf, and so on. A couple people wondered what I would do if I created some sort of similar universe, and turned all the characters from Moriarty the Patriot into animal figures.
So, here are the animals I would use for these anthros…
For William and Louis, I would choose Abyssinian cats. For all the visual symbolism of spiders, I always felt there was something distinctly cat-like about the Moriarty brothers in the series, especially with sweet William. Something about the way the good Professor moves and talks and just looks, overall, feels very feline in nature. There are no blonde cats, as far as I’m aware, but Abyssinians are known for their sleek, lithe frameworks and short, tawny coats, which - under the right light - can actually look very close to the golden hair we know both brothers for. Similarly, I would make Albert a Havana brown: similar body structure, but now with a rich brown coat that would match his own hair in the series.
For Sherlock Holmes and his brother, Mycroft, I would choose Black Labrador Retrievers. Black Labs are typically used and bred as hunting dogs, which obviously fits Sherlock, in particular, to a tea. Between the two, I would say Holmes would have a slightly shaggier coat than Mycroft, who would be more sleek and svelte, to match the differences in their characters. Making Holmes a big black dog also fits his color scheme in the show, and makes for a great contrast to Moriarty the Mystery Cat.
Dr. Watson I see as a rabbit. I’m not exactly sure why, but I guess there’s just something sort of rabbity about John, so to speak. And again, it makes for a great contrast when you pair him up with Holmes the Labrador. Similarly, I can see Miss Hudson as an anthropomorphic rodent: a mouse. This is because she sort of reminds me of Mallymkun, the Dormouse from the Tim Burton Alice movies, in terms of her getup…and also because I just think the idea of a cute mouse in pink yammering at and beating up Sherlock is just kind of hilarious, to be honest. Plus, there’s just something sort of “busybodying” about a mouse that I think would fit Miss Hudson in some odd way.
At Scotland Yard, I can see Inspector Lestrade as a bloodhound, with Gregson as a boxer, and Patterson as an English pointer. Arterton, the corrupt Chief Inspector during the Ripper case, I can see as a big, blustery bulldog. Adam Whiteley, the tragic MP, I can see as a white lion: lions, of course, are iconic in England, and are typically seen as regal, majestic creatures - Kings of Beasts. Making him a white lion shows how rare he is and helps to further that “white knight” image that inevitably ends up tarnished.
On that note, Charles Augustus Milverton is the only reptile of the group. He is undoubtedly a snake, and that’s not a far leap to make: in both the original Conan Doyle books and the series itself, serpent imagery is used with him a lot: he has snake eyes, elongated fangs, greenish hair, etc. It fits the cold-blooded, slippery cad to a tea. If I had to choose a specific species, I would say a Green Tree Python. His three henchmen would all be primates: Gosling would be a big, gruff gorilla, Harry a demented little spider monkey, and Ruskin a medium-sized chimpanzee.
Irene Adler/James Bonde would be a Golden Labrador Retriever. I like the idea of Irene being the same species as Sherlock, and again, the hunting dog aspect would be useful once they become Mr. Bonde. Von Herder, a.k.a. Q, I can see as a bat of some sort (partially because the whole “blind as a bat” joke writes itself). Miss Moneypenny doesn’t appear in the anime, but she is in the manga quite a bit; since she has to disguise herself at one point as James Bonde (and does a bang up job at it), I suppose, by default, that means she would have to be a Golden Labrador Retriever as well, perhaps with paler fur and a smaller build.
Sebastian Moran is a grizzled gray wolf, and Jack the Ripper would undoubtedly be a sly ol’ silver fox. It took me a while to figure out, but I decided Fred Porlock would be a lovely little ferret. First of all, there’s alliteration there with Fred the Ferret, and that’s always cool, but I think making him a warm-blooded creature with certain serpentine elements would be fitting, given his skills and personality.
Something I love about this, that I didn’t realize till I finished, is that ALL of Moriarty’s team are made up of predatory species: cats, dogs, wolves, foxes, ferrets, and if one makes Von Herder’s bat a vampire bat or a bug-eater, he’d fit there, too. In contrast, the specific trio of Holmes, Watson, and Miss Hudson on Baker Street consists of only one predatory species, with the other two being typically herbivorous. In fact, when it comes to prey species, mice and rabbits are about as low as it gets on the food chain. There’s something about that dichotomy and the way it can reflect the two sides of the conflict that I rather like. I didn’t intend it that way, but I think it’s good to have it. And again, making all of these characters, with all their shades of gray, into mammalian species makes for a great contrast to the reptilian Milverton.
There are, of course, lots of characters not covered here, mostly in the form of oneshot villains and a couple of minor supporting roles. But I think this covers most of the major players in the cast seen in the anime (and Moneypenny, poor dear), so let me know what you all think! :)

After reinvigorating American independent cinema with his debut feature Reservoir Dogs, Quentin Tarantino returned to screens a couple of years later with an even greater movie. His sophomore directorial effort, Pulp Fiction, managed to have an even bigger impact on indie cinema.
RELATED: 5 Movies That Influenced Pulp Fiction (& 5 Movies It Influenced)
One of the greatest assets of Tarantino’s filmmaking is his colorful characters. From Vincent Vega to Mia Wallace to “The Gimp,” Pulp Fiction is responsible for some of Tarantino’s most memorable characters. While Samuel L. Jackson, Uma Thurman, Bruce Willis, and the rest of the cast ended up being perfect for their roles, they weren’t the first choices.
10 Michael Madsen As Vincent Vega
Tumblr media
Tarantino’s first choice for the role of Vincent Vega was Reservoir Dogs’ Michael Madsen. However, Madsen instead chose to take an offer for Kevin Costner’s biopic of Wyatt Earp, a decision he’s since come to regret.
In the larger Tarantino-verse, Vincent Vega is the brother of Vic Vega, a.k.a. “Mr. Blonde,” who Madsen played in Reservoir Dogs. If he’d played both roles, the Vega brothers would’ve been twins.
9 Matt Dillon As Butch Coolidge
Tumblr media
When Tarantino was writing Pulp Fiction, he’d promised the role of boxer Butch Coolidge to Matt Dillon, who’d been a big star since his revelatory turn in Gus Van Sant’s Drugstore Cowboy. However, when he gave Dillon the completed script, the actor read it and said, “I love it. Let me sleep on it.”
Since he was looking for an actor who was desperate to play the role from the moment they put down the script, Tarantino pulled the offer and instead gave the part to Bruce Willis.
8 Meg Ryan As Mia Wallace
Tumblr media
Although Tarantino wanted to cast Uma Thurman as Mia Wallace after their first meeting, the producers were hoping to cast a more established star (the kind of established star Thurman would become overnight after the release of Pulp Fiction).
One of the names that came up when the producers were searching for a better-known actor than Thurman was Meg Ryan, who’d become a huge star with romcoms like When Harry Met Sally and Sleepless in Seattle.
7 John Cusack As Lance
Tumblr media
On Tarantino’s casting wish list for Pulp Fiction, John Cusack is listed as the first choice for the role of Vincent’s heroin dealer Lance, with the eventual casting of Eric Stoltz marked down as the second choice.
RELATED: 5 Most Unexpected Plot Turns In Pulp Fiction (& 5 Most Shocking Death Scenes)
The director noted on the casting wish list, “Wrote part for John. If John can’t do it, I want Eric.” Cusack is best-known for playing romantic leads in movies like Say Anything and High Fidelity.
6 Laurence Fishburne As Jules Winnfield
Tumblr media
Although Samuel L. Jackson ended up being the perfect choice to play Jules Winnfield, the role was originally offered to The Matrix star Laurence Fishburne, who turned it down because of its depiction of heroin use.
Fishburne felt that the movie made heroin use seem “attractive” and that its portrayal was “cavalier.”
5 Danny DeVito As The Wolf
Tumblr media
Harvey Keitel was always Tarantino’s top choice for the role of Winston “the Wolf” Wolf, because the character was based on Keitel’s crime scene cleaner role in the movie Point of No Return.
Before Keitel was secured for the role, the studio suggested Danny DeVito. The future Always Sunny star ultimately produced Pulp Fiction through his company Jersey Films.
4 Pam Grier As Jody
Tumblr media
Courtney Love claimed to have been offered the role of Lance’s wife Jody in Pulp Fiction, and that Tarantino wanted Kurt Cobain to play Lance, but Tarantino denied that he’d ever even met Love.
According to Tarantino’s casting wish list, blaxploitation legend Pam Grier was one of the top choices to play Jody. Grier ended up playing the title role in Tarantino’s next movie, Jackie Brown.
3 Daniel Day-Lewis As Vincent Vega
Tumblr media
Long before he would play corrupt oil tycoon Daniel Plainview in Paul Thomas Anderson’s There Will Be Blood, Daniel Day-Lewis actively lobbied for the role of Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction.
RELATED: Pulp Fiction - Jules' 5 Best Quotes (& Vincent's 5 Best)
Although Day-Lewis was Harvey Weinstein’s top choice, he had little chance of landing the role, as Tarantino wrote it for Michael Madsen and John Travolta was his firm second choice.
2 Johnny Depp As Pumpkin
Tumblr media
Tim Roth was always Tarantino’s top choice for stickup artist Pumpkin, having worked with the actor on Reservoir Dogs, but in case Roth was unable to play the part, the writer-director included a few backup choices on his casting wish list.
According to this wish list, the second choice after Roth was Johnny Depp, who’d made his name a decade earlier in Wes Craven’s A Nightmare on Elm Street.
1 Julia Louis-Dreyfus As Mia Wallace
Tumblr media
From Michelle Pfeiffer to Alfre Woodard to Isabella Rossellini, a ton of different actors were considered for the role of Mia Wallace. Surprisingly, Elaine Benes herself, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, was one of them.
Louis-Dreyfus had to turn down the role because the shooting schedule clashed with that of Seinfeld. The bickering back-and-forth between Jules and Vincent has been compared to Jerry and George’s dialogue in the classic sitcom.

so, last week i was thinking somebody should write a comic about a shy teen superhero whose powers are fueled directly by her own sense of embarrassment
then i, uh, wrote a ten-page script for it? and wound up kind of liking it a lot?
so consider yourself cordially invited to read issue #1 of my extremely indie superhero comic, and if you wish, you can illustrate it inside your mind, using the power of imagination!
(A teen girl sits on a swivel chair in her bedroom, facing the viewer. She’s got braces and glasses. Her hair is in a messy braid.)
PONNI: Hi! My name is Ponni Murthy. I’m sixteen, and um…
(We zoom out a little. She’s wearing a T-shit that says “The Moon ROCKS!” She’s holding a cane—covered in glow-in-the-dark star stickers—in one hand, and a stuffed animal cat—wearing a sloppily homemade astronaut costume—in the other. Posters cover the walls: fantasy movies, rocket ships, Ada Lovelace, Aamir Khan, Sally Ride, etc. She has multiple posters of the solar system. She gestures dramatically with her cane-hand)
PONNI: I LOVE OUTER SPACE!
(We return to her face. She looks very earnest.)
PONNI: That’s not, uh, directly relevant to the story, I just—I love it, so much.
(She has now taken on a pensive expression)
PONNI: I love a lot of stuff. But I used to feel a little weird about that.
(She is cheerful again)
PONNI: This is the story of how I got over (some of) my shyness, and rescued a gymnasium full of people, using dark powers I only kind of understand!
PONNI: We begin last year…
(Close-up on her stuffed cat, which is now holding a title card that reads): THE AMAZING ADVENTURES OF PONNI MURTHY A.K.A. SHAME-FLAME THE UNCONQUERABLE)
(We are in a high school hallway. Ponni has one hand on her cane, the other hand on a wheelie backpack. She’s wearing a T-shirt with a stylized drawing of Mars on it and the words “Seein’ red.” Hand-drawn arrows and words identify her as “Ponni Murthy, Freshman” “Only South Asian girl in the entire school” “Plays bassoon in school orchestra (entry level)”, “Favorite Mars rover: changes daily”)
(A cute boy is waving. Arrows identify him as “Westley Bolt, senior” “Plays cello (first chair!)” “Those eyelashes! Hot dang” “Favorite movement from Holst’s The Planets Suite: ‘Venus: The Peace Bringer’ (sensitive!!!)”)
(Ponni waves back.)
WESTLEY: Uh, hey…Amanda.
(Ponni turns around. He was waving to Amanda, standing just behind her.) (Arrows identify Amanda as “Amanda Nolan, senior” “Flautist (second chair)” “Favorite space-adjacent detail: unknown” “Probably a really nice person”)
(Ponni watches them walk off together.)
(Close-up on Ponni’s face, which has gone sort of blank.) CAPTION: Engulfed by a white-hot, all-consuming embarrassment, like sinking into surface of the sun! A VOICE FROM “OFF-SCREEN”: Ponni?
CAPTION: Roiling shame-waves blast in all directions, too powerful to be contained in the body of a single American teen! Can it be that my sheer humiliation has gone…supernova? THE SAME VOICE: Ponni!
PONNI: What?
(We zoom out a little. Her friend Vanessa has joined her. Oh, and also…) VANESSA: Your arm’s on fire.
(Ponni looks down and sees this for the first time.) PONNI: OH CRIPES! OH CRIPES, OH CRIPES! VANESSA: HOW DID YOU NOT NOTICE?
(The fire grows) PONNI: (Terrified but also embarrassed) Can anybody see??? VANESSA: WHO CARES, YOU’RE ON FIRE. PONNI: I couldn’t feel it!
PONNI: I still can’t, it’s just kind of warm and tingly.
(Close-up on Vanessa) VANESSA: You’re in shock. Stop, drop, and roll, kiddo c’mon. (Arrows identify her as “Vanessa Delbeau, freshman” “Acts cool but we watch a LOT of Star Trek together” “Favorite astronaut: Mae Jemison” “Threatens makeovers sometimes but so far so good”)
PONNI: I’m not in shock! Look, it’s not even burning my skin.
(Vanessa peers at Ponni’s arm. Sure enough, her skin is fine.) VANESSA: Whoa…what even…
(The fire has vanished.) (Ponni and Vanessa stare at each other)
(They stare at each other for another beat.)
VANESSA: … “Cripes?”
(Ponni’s arm starts to smolder again.) PONNI: If I wanna start babysitting, I need to set a good example!
(Vanessa shrugs. Ponni’s arm fire goes out.)
ANDY: Hey guys! (Arrows identify him as “Andy Shin, sophomore” “Black sheep of the wrestling team” “The only other Asian kid in my neighborhood (we high-five a lot)” “Favorite planet: Uranus (lol)” ANDY: You’re not gonna believe this but they let us out of gym five minutes early and--
VANESSA: Ponni can control fire with her mind.
PONNI (embarrassed): “Control” is, um, a strong word? (Ponni holds up her arm, which is smoldering again) ANDY: Dude! That’s awesome!
(Ponni’s arms are extinguished.) VANESSA: Shouldn’t you, like, go to a doctor? ANDY: You don’t go to the doctor for superpowers! You go to the nearest evildoers and show them your wrath, or whatever!
VANESSA: So just…keep our eyes peeled for all the secret volcano lairs of suburban Michigan? PONNI: I don’t really…have wrath… A VOICE FROM OFF-SCREEN: Stop! Please!
(Andy, Vanessa, and Ponni turn to the other side of the hallway. A boy labeled “Freshman? (not sure)” is addressing two upperclassmen labeled “Bully 1” and “Bully 2.” Bully 1 is holding something above his head.) FRESHMAN: I need to turn that in next period! BULLY 1: Well duh, maybe you shouldn’t have made it out of candy!
FRESHMAN: Don’t eat my homework, come on! BULLY 2 (Affecting a snotty voice, clear from his face he’s mocking Freshman) : Yeah, come on!
PONNI: Is that… VANESSA: A surprisingly good model of a 14th century castle, built out of Starbursts? I think so. I might need new glasses. PONNI: No.
(Closeup on Ponni’s face) PONNI: Evildoers.
PONNI (striding right up to the bullies): Hey! Quit bothering that guy and give him back his castle, he probably spent a lot of time on it! BULLY 1: Or what?
PONNI: Or you’ll regret it. (Ponni holds out her non-cane arm like it’s about to erupt into flames.)
(It does not erupt into flames. Nothing happens. There is a long beat.)
(Ponni still has her free arm out)
CAPTION: Was it all just a fevered imagining? It can’t be, Vanessa and Andy bore witness as well. Unless they, too, are mere shadows, empty projections of my shattered, lonely psyche…
BULLY 2 (to Ponni) : Hey, Unibrow! Out of the way, Tiny Tim!
(Close-up on Ponni. She is almost crying)
(New panel, also a close-up on Ponni) PONNI: WHY DOES YOUR SEXIST, RACIST, ABLEIST BULLCRAP STILL SOMEHOW GET TO HURT MY FEELINGS? IT’S NOT FUNNY OR CLEVER, IT’S JUST MEAN!
(A tear slides down Ponni’s face) PONNI: YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO MAKE ME SAD! IT’S SO HUMILIATING!
(Zoom out. Both of Ponni’s arms are producing fireballs. The bullies are cowering in place, eyes wide.) CAPTION: That’s what triggers this power! My own embarrassment! Whoa, weird.
NEW PANEL: A WHOLE LOT OF SCREAMING AND FLEEING LATER…
(Andy and Vanessa are helping Freshman(?) re-assemble all his stuff. Ponni is no longer on fire) ANDY: Here’s your castle back, Trevor. VANESSA: Nice work on those turrets. (Arrow identifies Freshman(?) as “Trevor! Apparently”) Trevor: Uh, thanks. (To Ponni) Are you…okay?
PONNI: I’m fine. Are you? FRESHMAN(?): Yeah. Uh, I’m Trevor, hi. What should I call you?
PONNI: How about…Shame-Flame the Unconquerable.
VANESSA (whispering): I think he meant your name. PONNI: Oh! Ponni! (She holds out her hand to shake. There’s a flame coming off her palm. Awkward.)
PONNI (putting her hand back down) : Uh, good luck with your castle project! TREVOR: Thanks. Good luck…fighting crime?
(Ponni and Andy give Vanessa huge matching grins) New panel: Later that day, after school… (Vanessa and Andy are waiting outside Ponni’s bathroom door.)
VANESSA: Are you ready yet? PONNI (from inside) : Almost! VANESSA: Never thought I’d get to help design a superhero costume. ANDY: I did. VANESSA: Really? ANDY: Aim high, y’know? VANESSA: Ponni, c’mon! PONNI (from inside): I can’t believe people are gonna see me like this.
(The door swings open to reveal Ponni’s superhero outfit. Labels explain: “my dorkiest bike helmet”, “elbow pads”, “knee pads”, “ancient fanny pack I found in my parents’ closet”, “a wolf T-shirt (with noticeable mustard stain)”, a tutu labeled “(not sure why I had this??)”, a hideous plastic necklace “my least favorite aunt gave me this for my 11th birthday” and “sneakers with black socks.”)
ANDY: If your theory about your power is right, this is like, basically a super suit. VANESSA: The fanny pack’s a nice touch. What’s in there? PONNI: (grimly) Naked baby photos. If we’re doing this, we’re doing it right.
VANESSA: Ready? PONNI: Let’s go save the world.
Caption: For a while, everything went exactly as planned… PONNI (approaching a guy mugging a woman) : Stop right there! MUGGER: What the…what’s this kid doing here?
(PONNI makes an embarrassed face)
(We see the scene in silhouette—Ponni’s hands producing fireballs, the mugger jumping straight up in terror)
(We cut to Ponni foiling a bank robbery) PONNI: Give back that money right now! MASKED ROBBER: Is that a bike helmet? I…are you serious?
(Everybody in the bank stares at Ponni, who looks down.)
(There’s a hint of flames in her eyes)
(The next panel is Ponni grinning, both masked robbers raising their hands in surrender. The wall behind them is singed like she was outlining them in fireballs.)
(Cut to a very fancy-looking office. A wealthy businessman is sitting at a desk, pen poised over some paperwork.)
PONNI (from under his desk): Put the pen down! Don’t you dare put together another predatory subprime mortgage! BUSINESSMAN: Security! Security! PONNI: What you’re doing is wrong and you know it!
(Businessman stares at her. She is still balled up under his desk.) BUSINESSMAN: Listen, kid, do you even know what a subprime mortgage is? Or did you hear one thing on the news, and now you think you’re an expert? PONNI: You’re hurting innocent people! BUSINESSMAN: How long have you been under there?
PONNI: Um.
PONNI: I don’t…um…listen, I’ve got what’s called Juvenille Arthritis? And I was having a really good day this morning, pain-wise, so I thought I’d be okay down here, but now everything hurts and my cane’s at a weird angle. (she winces) Uh, I know I broke into your office, but can you help me up?
(close up on Businessman) BUSINESSMAN: …you’ve got to be kidding m—is your hand starting to smoke?
(Cut to a newspaper headline: MORTGAGE CRISIS AVERTED. The accompanying photo is Ponni sitting in a comfortable chair, giving a big thumb’s up)
CAPTION: But then things began to get more complicated. (Ponni is facing off against a Mad Scientist.) PONNI: Disarm that giant laser, right now! MAD SCIENTIST: Why should I listen to a child in a tutu and gym shoes?
PONNI: Because I’m the best darn hero this town’s got! CAPTION: Wait, what?
CAPTION: I try to summon up that rising, burning tide of self-consciousness, but I’ve done so much in this ridiculous costume, wearing it just feels good. I have to find a new path back to that terrible feeling. PONNI (beginning to panic): Uh…I get super excited when my teacher assigns us science projects! MAD SCIENTIST: Who doesn’t? (Reaches towards the laser.)
PONNI: I cried the first time I watched Shrek! MAD SCIENTIST: …each to their own?
PONNI: Stop! Stop right now, in the name of my 90,000-word Labyrinth/Harry Potter crossover fic! MAD SCIENTIST: …huh?
PONNI: I mean, Jareth had to…learn magic somewhere, right? So why not Hogwarts? The heroine is this seventh-year Ravenclaw student, who, yeah, it’s just me except she’s like, super super gifted at magic and she’s got a baby penguin for a familiar! I wound up naming my pet guinea pig after that penguin! I’ve been writing it for three and a half years. It’s got over a hundred chapters, and all the chapter titles are song lyrics!
CAPTION: I wait for the icy judgment to surface in his face. It does. I wait for the burning shame to overtake me. It doesn’t. Maybe it’s a little silly, but back before my powers took hold, working on that story was one of the few times I felt in control. It was fun to create something purely for myself. And cripes, it’s not like I was trying to destroy the world with a laser or something. I actually feel almost…proud. Uh-oh.
MAD SCIENTIST: Any last words? PONNI: Listen, if you’re going to kill me, can you do it fast? My curfew’s in twenty minutes.
MAD SCIENTIST: …your curfew is seven? PONNI: Well yeah, on weeknights! MAD SCIENTIST: Seven? You have to be home before the bedtime of most first graders?
(Flames appear in Ponni’s eyes.)
(Cut to Ponni walking away from a terrified scientist and a melted laser.) CAPTION: Way too many close calls lately. And now I only have nineteen minutes to get home. Crap. CAPTION: Then, in the middle of a pep assembly, things get worse. (A gigantic crablike monster has burst through the wall of the gym.)
PONNI: Stand down, stranger! Shame-Flame the Unconquerable is here! MONSTER: Then let me just say, Shame-Flame…
(scary close-up of the crab monster’s face) MONSTER: I respect you as an equal. CAPTION: Yikes, word’s gotten around. My foes are getting cleverer.
PONNI: How can you respect someone with a 7 pm curfew! MONSTER: That doesn’t reflect on you; it just means your parents want you to be safe. PONNI: Oh yeah? Well, I’m totally excited to take Advanced Trig next year! MONSTER: You’re preparing yourself for a job in the lucrative STEM field. No shame in that. PONNI: No, I mean, I love math for math’s sake. I’ve written little jingles about all my favorite numbers!
MONSTER: Well, that’s convenient. (Scoops up a handful of band members in one claw.) I hear music is good for the digestion.
PONNI: C’mon! Other than Vanessa and Andy, I’ve got no friends my age! Half the reason I don’t wear makeup is I don’t know how to do it right! Ever since Toy Story I talk to my stuffed animals, just in case! Doesn’t anyone want to laugh at me?
(Ponni looks around. Everyone is just panicking.) CAPTION: Cripes cripes cripes!
PONNI: Gosh, I said I’d defeat you and I can’t even summon the fire to light a birthday candle. Now that’s humiliating, right? MONSTER (pauses with that clawful of band members inches away from its terrible mouth): Not really, Shame-Flame.
MONSTER: It’s just sad.
CAPTION: Well, that’s it. No other way.
PONNI: (cupping her hands to her mouth) Westley Bolt! Hey, Westley! (Westley is sitting four rows down. He turns around.)
PONNI: I’ve had a crush on you since sixth grade! WESTLEY: I know. I was just hoping you wouldn’t bring it up. I don’t like you back. You’re weird. Obviously.
PONNI (smiles, badass) : Oh, I know.
PONNI (turning back towards the monster) And I’ve gotta say, now that everybody knows how long I was hung up on somebody so wrong for me, it’s a little…oh shoot, what’s the word I’m looking for, here?
(The next panel is just flames)
(Then the smoke clears, Ponni’s fire is gone and the monster has fled, having dropped those band kids safely on the ground. It turns out that Trevor was also among them.)
TREVOR: That was incredible! Ponni, you saved our lives! You’re my hero!
(A tiny flame of embarrassment shoots out of Ponni’s hand.) PONNI: Oh, um. You’re welcome?  Anytime, sir. VANESSA (seeing the fire) : Ponni, your— PONNI: I KNOW.
(EPILOGUE: Ponni is back to present day, sitting on her desk chair in her room.) PONNI: Nobody was seriously hurt. Not even the crab monster, I don’t think. It took the rest of the school year to repair the gym. Andy got to switch out his PE class with an elective. He took astronomy, thinking it would be a blowoff class, but the teacher wasn’t very good so I got to explain a bunch of stuff to him! Me and Trevor dated for a few months, but he got super clingy when I left for math camp, so we broke up. C’est la vie. Oh, also I went to math camp! It was super daunting at first, and I got nervous and made mistakes. Luckily, my threshold for embarrassment is sky-high at this point, so y’know, I bounced back and enjoyed the heck out of it.
PONNI: Of course, not sure what that means for the next time some sinister force threatens our town. What happens when Shame-Flame gets…shame-proof?
A VOICE FROM OFF PANEL: No way! I found it! ANOTHER VOICE: Found what?
(Ponni looks over at Andy and Vanessa, who have been on the floor, going through a box of Ponni’s old things.) ANDY: Right here! The video of that anti-drug puppet show she did in fifth grade! PONNI: It wasn’t…for a class or anything, I was just really mega- against drugs. ANDY: Am I right in thinking it was a rock opera? PONNI: Uh… VANESSA: Ponni, what are the odds you still remember all the lyrics? CAPTION: Just kidding. That cringey feeling comes for all of us, sooner or later.
(Ponni, Andy, and Vanessa are roasting marshmallows on forks, using Ponni’s burning hand as heat.) VANESSA: Come on, one verse! PONNI: Next crab monster, Vanessa. Next crab monster. CAPTION: I guess it’s just a question of what you do with that feeling.
(Close-up of Ponni’s stuffed cat from the very beginning. It’s holding a card that says “THE END.”)

Activity check!
The following characters have been dropped for inactivity. Characters are considered inactive if no true attempt to engage in RP with anyone else has been made in the last three weeks.
Only I/C on-dash activity (opens, starters, replies) counts as a “true attempt”. Reblogging memes/images/etc does not count as activity. Characters that are currently placed on hiatus are exempt from this rule.
If you have been dropped for inactivity, feel free to re-app! But do take note that in the time frame between your drop and re-app, your character is free for the taking. Basically: first come, first serve!
