Ready to take out April, it's getting so chunky (I cut my pages to be A5 slim, or Cahier size)

the convenience stores are actually more than that. convenient. the atmosphere is most welcoming. i don't have to go to specialized stores to get what I want. they have the exact cup noodle I need and I can even get emergency smallclothes and school stationery. the cashier is so kind. what love, what joy. the fried chicken is also good.

Happy 2024!
Hello, I'm making a new pinned post since it's the new year, and I have a new planning/journaling system for this year. I go by Ghost (they/xe), and this is just my little stationery blog that I made so I can infodump about my silly little pieces of paper and writing utensils. I also like sharing other people's lovely spreads and collections <3
System Plans for 2024:
A5 ring planner made by @twstplanner for everyday planning of events, tasks, appointments, etc.
A5 ring binder for health tracking, habit tracking, gratitude logging, and goal setting. This binder also holds miscellaneous spreads that can be carried over month to month or year to year (collections, lists, etc.). Some of these spreads may end up moving back and forth between this binder and the Twst planner, so the things I need to look at on a more daily basis are in one spot.
A6 Hobonichi HON for daily journal pages and reflections. Most of my current daily reflections are related to my physical and mental health, as well as processing thoughts that play on a loop in my head and make me feel stuck.
A6 Hobonichi notebook for weekly planning (until the Twst planner arrives) and general notes that I take throughout my daily life that I may want to transcribe into a different notebook at a later time. It's kind of like the junk drawer of my notebooks lol.
A5 dot grid notebook by Artist's Loft for (special) interest-related journaling.
I do have other notebooks that I use on occasion for journaling, but the books listed above are what I plan to focus on and use in my regular rotation.

[With the new year I wanted to take some time to appreciate last year’s binder deco!]
This pocket 6 ring binder was my dream cover!! Over 2022 I began collecting more papers and stickers for a scrap feel and this binder is perfect for that! This was also my first time using a pocket/A7 size for my planner inserts. There’s something so cute about this size! All my stickers just feel giant and take up space nicely. When I fill out my weekly spreads there’s never space left, which makes me accomplished even if I didn’t write down much!! Now that I’m back in school A7 is now too small... I’ve moved up to an A5 for 2023 as a catch all for notes, planning, and sticker hoarding! I’m a little sad to leave my tiny binder behind this year, but I have plans for it still! Stay tuned for more binder content, I’ve got some surprises!

We’ll time to share my February planner! Made my own stickers this month to see if I like using those to decorate. Do excuse my phone highlighter to hide some personal stuff.

The planner itself is a 6 ring A5 size fake leather cover from my local art store.

To pull out an A5 ring planner and turn it into a collection or nah. That is the question. Commonplace journal or nah. Probably will. We will see.
In other news, I don’t want to sleep. 🙃

New Planners for 2024
It’s October already! The year 2023 is going to end soon! How fast time flies!
I went to a stationery shop yesterday, where I found new planners for 2024. I felt it was a little bit early to buy one now. But I really could not help it!
I have got more than ten ring planners, like Filofax, Ashford, Raymay, etc. Only a couple of them are in use though. Filofax "Personal" binders are my favourite. I used "Small (mini 6)” for a few years, then larger A5 for a short while, and back to "Personal" now. Small, good to carry always in my bag, but a bit too small. A5, too large and heavy.  So "Personal" is the best for me.
Although I have got both luxury leather ones and reasonably priced ones, I tend to use the latter.

Filofax Saffiano and refills for 2024 monthly and weekly diaries from Bindex. Simple.
I have also bought a notebook type diary, and a notebook for additional note pages.

Okay, I went down the planner rabbit hole. I mentioned that before, right? I mean, I went deep.
I hopped onto the HB90 program. I've got four different planners and notebooks just for various parts of my existence. It's gotten out of hand. At least that's what my teenager tells me. It might have something to do with the struggle I've had to find exactly what I'm looking for.
See, I've decided to go with things I can customize, like A5 ring binders and the Happy Planners. And ho, boy. There's a lot. Content calenders, health trackers, meal planners. Just so fucking much. Got lost in it all.
Still, in my hunt to find what I need, I've spent way too much time on Etsy and Planner Society and Erin Condrin and a plethora more. Ugh.
Next it's gonna be making my own inserts. Something I have no clue how to do. Le sigh. I guess it's back to YouTube tutorials. I still have the emotional scars from building my website. I hate Javascript and will absolutely meet the guy who invented in hell and beat him into a second death with a whiffleball bat.
