There is someone VERY close in my life that I wish understood this!! Reposted @structuredsucc It can be hard to love, or even care for, yourself when you're neurodivergent. At least part of the reason this is so difficult comes down to the messages we receive from others. When those messages are so often harsh, othering, and filled with misunderstanding, we can internal those and they can become the way we speak to ourselves as well. [Image Description] Rainbow outlines of geometric shapes float above a white background. [Transcript] Neurodivergent people generally get more negative feedback for completely inconsequential things than neurotypical people. When we're repeatedly told that even the smallest things we're doing are wrong, self-worth, self-esteem, and self-love can be incredibly hard. Healingwithsree My UAE client of 37 years old came to me for a lot of issues and in just 2 sessions he is feeling this remarkable change. His ADHD medication he could reduce without any withdrawal symptoms and he also hasn't touched alcohol since we started sessions and he claims he had been a heavy drinker. He says "There is a child like freshness in feeling good about yourself " and it gives me and I'm sure others a lots of HOPE. Wishing him more positivity. www.healingwithsree.com #ADHD #adhdawareness #adhdsupport #adhdcoach #alcohol #alcoholfree #hypnotherapist #hypnotherapyworks https://www.instagram.com/p/CesOTpNhEXQ/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Posted @withregram • @adhd_memetherapy ADHD and time blindness is the idea that we have difficulty unconsciously registering the passage of time which causes us to struggle using our time effectively (poor time management skills). I’ve noticed that my perception or the registration of how much time has passed actually improves or comes into existence when I’m on ADHD medication, has anyone else gotten this benefit from their meds too? . . . #adhd #adhdmemes #adhdawareness #adhdproblems #adhdlife #adhdparenting #adhdkids #adultadhd #adhdsupport #adhdbrain #adhdisreal #adhdwomen #adhdprobs #adhdmeme #adhdtips #adhdadult #adhdparents #adhdstruggles #adhdkid #adhdmom #adhdexplained #adhdchild #adhdfamily #adhdmum #adhdsolutions #adhdparent #adhdcoaching #adhdmoms #adhdhelp #adhddad https://www.instagram.com/p/CeuvnZNL2SL0U3VEJWKL3FUHiR0Gv5HqIxKUjQ0/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Just laugh it off
Tumblr media
Hopefully I’m not the only one but after a long day. I sometime just lay in my bed and think of some stuff I said of think that I know my ADHD made me do it. I just say fuck it. What can I do. As long as I tried my best and I was a good person. There are times that I want to tell someone that I am talking to that my random comments and the way I’m acting is my ADHD and not really me. Well it is me but not really. Hopefully you get it. I write this because this happened to me during a meeting. I forgot what the hell i was trying to send that I just started talking until I tried to figure out what point I was trying to make. I did very well cover it up but I know my co-workers with like WTF is he saying but he did make a point though. LOL
Just fuck it people. We are all trying our best. just don’t hurt yourself or someone else and you will be fine.

Whew, I felt that last post, and it has me a little emotional thinking about the subject of overeating. Let's get a little light and fun here. Here is the behind-the-scenes when I'm coaching with clients. At this moment, I was working on my Instagram content. You might see some posts I posted last week there on the screen. Am I the only one that thinks Trello is life? I've used it for years, but for organizing my social media it is so freaking amazing! I can write copy in it, and it leaves the spaces. I can add emojis from my computer and I can post it all from my phone. 😲📲 If you join my Facebook Group Learn to Thrive with ADHD, you can see there where I use Trello for my grocery shopping and meal planning. I made a video about it there. Then...get this...I share it with my husband (and my son before he spread his wings and flew the nest). So we always ALL know what is needed at the store, and we can ALL add to the list. AND IT'S FREE! So if you don't know, 🎬 YouTube is actually my primary place to hang out. My channel there is, yep, you guessed it, Learn to Thrive with ADHD. My channel is a baby. I just started it at the end of April, but I post there weekly, come hell or high water. Yikes, let's hope neither of those. Should I do a video there on the grocery store and dinner menu Trello board? I could even share my board in the description of the video, and all you do is copy the board and tweak it as desired. Let me know in the comments if this sounds interesting to you. Anyway, this is where I meet with clients, record my videos, edit, work on my marketing, do my learning (because that never ends), and someday in the future my blog posts and my podcast. This girl has goals and they ARE happening. Did we just become best friends? Come hang out with me all the places. Check the link in my bio for that and girl everyone needs a coach. In that link, you can book a FREE COACHING CALL with ME. 🥰 #adhdawareness #adhd #adhdsupport #adhdisreal #adhdcommunity #adhdlife #adhdexplained #adultadhd #adhdadult #adhdmom #adhdinspiration #mentalhealth #neurodiversity #adhdcoach #thelifecoachschool #trello #youtube #freecoachingcall #behindthescenes #socia https://www.instagram.com/p/CQb0EcpLaXt/?utm_medium=tumblr
