for the purpose of this fic, the reader is going to be a rookie during the 2019 season because yes <3 live laugh love 2019 rookies 🫶🏼also this is my last post so thank you for all the love and support!!

Y/n knew how her parents felt about karting. They always told her the same thing: that’s no place for a little girl, you’re going to get hurt blah blah blah. But she wasn’t a little girl anymore. She continued with her dreams. Eventually she found herself winning trophies and raising it on the small podium. Then the small podium turned into a bigger one.

The journey to F1 was hard, but she was proud of herself. The holidays were especially hard for her. She hard received the news that her family wasn’t going to be with her for the holidays at all.

She didn’t live in Monaco like most of the drivers on the grid, she couldn’t afford it. For now, she was living with a roommate in London. But even her roommate had plans with her own family so Y/n was going to be spending her time alone in her flat with nothing but takeout and Netflix.

Toto Wolff was the first one to notice the frown on the young girl’s face. It was a late night in there paddock and all the team principals had a late meeting. He was surprised to see her. All the drivers were gone, most likely already on flights to their families or vacation homes. But she was still here.

“Are you waiting on someone?” Toto asked.

“No, I just don’t want to leave right now. Is that weird to say?” She replied.

“I don’t find it weird. I just thought you would’ve already been on a plane headed towards Ibiza or Mallorca. I think that’s where most drivers and their families go for the holidays. What are your plans?”

“Well . . . I have a new season of this show that I’m watching to catch up on. I might watch all the marvel movies. And if I finish everything before break is over then I guess I’ll just sleep.” She said casually.

“You’re not going to spend time with your family?” He questioned.

“I don’t know where they are. Last time I checked, they were in the Maldives. All I got was a text saying they couldn’t meet me at the airport and my roommate is away with hers, but at least I get the flat all to myself.” She tried to sound cheery, but Toto could hear the hurt in her voice.

“No, that’s unacceptable. You’re not spending the holidays alone.”

And that’s how Y/n ended up on a flight with the Wolff family to their preferred vacation destination. Y/n had gotten to know more about the young boy, Jack Wolff, and his love for Legos. He even let Y/n build a car, which surprised both of his parents since he didn’t like people grabbing his legos.

“Can Y/n come over for Christmas too?” Jack asked his mother.

“Why don’t you ask her if she wants to come over?” Susie encouraged the boy. She was hoping Y/n would say yes.

“Y/n, would you like to spend Christmas with us? Papa and I always make cookies and Mama always lets me open one present before bed! And we can make gingerbread houses and stay up all night!” Jack said.

“All night? What if Santa sees us?”

“We can be really quiet.”

Susie and Toto watched as Y/n and Jack talked about what they wanted for Christmas. “We can’t let her be alone on Christmas, Toto.” She whispered to her husband.

“She won’t, she has us.”

“And that’s P8, Y/n! Good job, you did great.”

Y/n would be lying if she said she didn’t feel like crying a bit. The beginning of the season wasn’t good, but she kept going and soon she made it into the points. She did it, she scored her first points in F1.

After getting back to the garage, she spotted Jack and Susie waiting for her with big smiles on their faces.

“You did it! Go Y/n!” Jack pounced on her the second she got out of her car.

“Thank you, Jack!” Y/n smiled and gave the little boy a hug.

“Did you hear me yelling your name? I was with papa, but I wanted you to win.” Jack said as he grabbed Y/n’s hand and walked with her towards Susie.

“I heard you, you were yelling so loud.” Y/n chuckled. She then saw how proud Susie looked and couldn’t help herself so she immediately gave Susie a hug.

“You did so well, Y/n! And you scored points! That’s amazing!” Susie cheered.

“Thank you, I think I might cry.” Y/n admitted.

“You should be proud of yourself. I am.”

Drive to survive

“How did you feel when you scored your first points?”

Y/n instantly smiled at the memory. She remembered it all too well. Her and the Wolff family celebrating afterwards, her being congratulated by everyone on the grid.

“Oh man, it was my happiest day. Before that I used to say my happiest day hadn’t happened yet. I was content with at least scoring one point, but I got four! It was amazing and I’m glad that the people that love and support me were there to witness that special moment with me.” Y/n smiled.

The camera cuts to a smiling Toto. He looked like a proud dad and he was. Toto considered Y/n to be part of his family.

“Proud. That’s all I can say.”

Susie huffed, looking down at the sheer amount of paperwork she had on her desk. She wanted to grab a bite to eat, but she had so much to do and she needed a lot more help than what the employees around her can provide. She pulled out her phone and texted her husband, Toto, for some advice. She was a strong independent woman, but even strong independent women need a bit of advice from their spouses sometimes.

And what she got from him was beyond helpful.

A personal assistant.

She was going to hire a personal assistant to help her around the Academy. The list of requirements wasn't long, but it was specific and the requirements that were listed were important for the assistant to have or they wouldn't work well together. Susie typed out the application furiously, making sure that all her requirements were stated clearly and made sure that whoever was filling out the application knew what they were getting into. She made sure they knew what they would be doing, an estimate about the schedule, and what she expected of whoever applied.

Susie finished up and posted it to the F1 Academy website. She also made a Instagram post about it that was a joint post with the official F1 account and the FIA account. With a sigh and a satisfied smile, Susie closed her laptop and put it in her bag.

Now all she had to do was wait for the applications to roll in. She didn’t expect too many since a lot of people were only interested in watching F1 or were, since the fans were mostly men, protesting against the F1 Academy.

Y/n looked at the link that her sister, Rachel, had sent her. Y/n had told her that she needed a new job after finishing college and Rachel had sent her a bunch of applications to different jobs. They were all just random jobs she had found on the internet, which led to where she was now.

She was staring at an application to be a personal assistant to some billionaire's wife who was the leader of some academy for girls who like driving glorified go-karts. It paid more than any of the other jobs that Rachel had sent applications for. Y/n mumbled on her thumbnail, pondering whether she should aim high and apply for the PA job or should she just go for what she knows that she would be able to get.

Y/n was deep in thought when she was startled by the loud sound of her FaceTime ringtone, which happened to be one the songs from her brother's group. "Ah, shit!" Y/n yelled, nearly falling out of her chair, "Who the fuck?!" The dark haired girl growled, grabbing the phone off the table. "Hello?" Y/n answered, "Hey, Y/n. What are you up to?" The deep voice of her younger brother exited the phone as she set it up so he could see her.

"Ah, baby brother! How are you? Loving the new comeback." Y/n said, standing up to grab a bottle of water from her fridge. "I'm great. The comeback has been good so far. Have you heard the entire album?" Felix asked, "Yeah, of course." Y/n answered, sitting at the table once more. The two of them sat and talked about her brother's most recent comeback before the conversation turned to her.

"So, what've you been up to?" Felix asked, shoving what seemed like a chip into his mouth, "When did you get those?" Y/n questioned, pointing to the box of fried potato sticks. "Ah, Chan bright them to me a bit ago." Felix answered, shoving another one in his mouth, "Well, I was thinking..."

"Uh oh."

"Shut up, Lix. Anyway, I was thinking that now I finished University, I should get a new job. One that fits my expertise better, you know? So I asked Rach to help and she sent me some applications she found online..." Y/n said, looking at the open webpage. "Yeah?" Felix spoke, urging her to continue her words, "She sent me one for some F1 Academy. It pays well and I fit the requirements, but..."

"But what?" Felix urged, "I don't know what the F1 academy is and it's in Monaco." Y/n sighed. "Where's that?" Felix questioned, "It's, like, right beside Italy, I think." Y/n answered, "Okay, so what's the issue? It sounds like a good opportunity." Felix said. "I don't want to move away from our parents and sisters." Y/n set her head on her hand, using it as a way to keep her head up, "I don't think mum and dad would want you to hold back for them. Neither would Rachel and Olivia. They would want you to go. They wanted me to go." Felix spoke up.

"Felix, that's because it was your dream. Your dream was to be an idol, so of course they weren't going to hold you back from doing it." Y/n groaned. "Y/n it doesn't matter whether it's your dream or not. It's a better job opportunity for you until you're able to start modeling the way you want." Felix suggested.

Y/n thought about it. It would be nice to make money until she finds a modeling agency that wants to sign her because waiting around for something to happen won't make her any money. She needed to pay rent and keep herself fed, plus, from what she researched about Monaco, they did not collect personal income tax or capital gains taxes. There were no property taxes in Monaco, but rental properties were taxed at 1% of the annual rent plus other applicable charges.

Monaco sounded like a dream. She really didn't think that places like that existed, but knowing that she'd keep every penny of her hard earned money sealed the deal. Y/n applied for the PA position and closed her laptop, "Okay, now to wait." Y/n let out a breath as she looked around her house.

There was no way she wouldn’t be getting the job. She was once an extremely popular Formula Two driver before she ended up quitting. She had met the likes of so many old Formula One drivers who were excited to see her race alongside them when she was ready, but she unfortunately couldn’t continue due to her mother not having enough money for her to have a seat and unfortunately no sponsers wanted to sponsor her.

Y/n stood up and threw her water bottle away. She hadn’t kept up with Formula One since she had left Formula Two and she was kind of curious how her friends from karting and F2 were doing. They were obviously doing better than her since they refused to keep in contact with her, but it’s alright. She could barely remember anything about them anyway so it didn’t matter. It did when she was younger though.

After she left and they stopped talking to her, she felt like everything was falling apart for her. She was living in the UK at the time, but decided to come back to Australia to be near her half siblings and step mother and start her career in modeling or something in the industry. Of course, her plans to model next to the likes of the Hadid sisters or other popular models, had fallen through and she had only become famous as the half sister of Felix Yongbok Lee, the freckled cutie with a deep voice of the famous Korean pop group, Stray Kids.

Y/n pulled out her phone and ordered some food, hoping that it wasn't a bad decision to put in only one application for a job that might be out of reach for her.

Oh well.

It had been a week since Y/n had sent in the application and she had been waiting for the call back. She was sitting on her couch, staring at the large flat screen TV that was playing a Sidemen Reacts video that popped up on her feed while shoveling hwachae* into her mouth when the sound of another song from her brother's band rang through the air. Y/n picked up her phone with the spoon hanging from her lips and looked at the screen.

It was an unknown number. Y/n didn't usually answer the calls of numbers she didn't know, but something within her told her to answer it, so she did. After pausing the video, Y/n hit the green button on the screen and put the up to her ear, "Uh, hello?" Y/n answered, accent thick. "Uh, hello. Is this Miss Y/n L/n?" A sweet feminine voice that was paired with a Scottish accent, asked, "Uhm, yes. This is her. How may I help you?" Y/n asked, setting the bowl onto the table and sitting up straight. "Yes, this is about the application you put in for the PA position at the Formula One Academy." The woman said.

Y/n sat there for a hot minute before her eyes widened, "Oh! Yes, ma'am. What about it?" Y/n asked, "I wanted to call and let you know that we are interested in having you in the position, but first we need to schedule an interview. Is there a specific time that you're available?" The woman asked.

"Uh, I'm currently living in Australia and not moving to Monaco until a next month." Y/n said. Truthfully, she didn't want to being that up, but she knew that it would be suspicious if she scheduled the meeting so far away. She knew that the fact she was living in Australia could possibly ruin her chances of securing such a good job, but she just didn't have it in her to lie to the very sweet sounding woman.

"Okay, um, I'll be right back. Hang on tight." The lady said, "Okay, ma'am." Y/n said. Once the woman put her on hold, Y/n put the phone on speaker, muted herself, and continued to watch her video until she heard something from the woman on the other line.

"Uh, hello?" The woman's voice spoke up. Y/n paused her video and quickly unmuted herself, "I'm here." Y/n spoke up. "Okay, so, we usually wouldn't do this, but we really think you'd be a good fit for the position, so I'll tell you what. Save this number. My name is Susie Wolff. Once you're moved into Monaco and finally settled down, give me a call." The woman, Susie, said. "Okay, thank you, Mrs. Wolff. I'll call you once I'm in Monaco." Y/n said, "Alright. See you then. Bye." Susie said before hanging up.

Y/n looked down at her phone with wide eyes before jumping up and onto her couch with a large smile, "I got it! I got it!" Y/n cheered loudly, jumping up and down as if she was a child on a super bouncy bed. "Holy shit, I have to let Felix know." Y/n said, jumping down from the couch and grabbing her phone, which fell out of her hand after she jumped up onto the couch. Instead of calling him, she texted him since she never knew his schedule.

Y/n quickly went to the room that held the boxes that she would use to pack away her things and smiled. It was never too early to begin packing.

Susie cheered. She had finally found the person she was looking for after a week. She was super lucky that she had decided to continue searching through the online applications rather than giving up on looking at the mediocre applications and deciding to hold a hiring fair or something.

Not only was Y/n L/n the most perfect candidate for the PA position, but she had the most relaxing and attractive voice Susie had ever heard other than her husband's.

Susie cleared her throat and looked at the work she had on her computer. She had never been as excited as she was now other than the time when she found out she was pregnant, had Jack, and started the Academy. Okay, she had been this excited before, but this is different. She can tell that she was going to be good friends with Y/n and shoe couldn't wait to work with the younger woman.

This was going to be fun

Character Lineup for My Deltarune Chapter 3 Take

NEW LIGHTNERS: Toriel: In the dark world, she is a powerful pyromancer! This is a first in a long time since she’s done anything engaging with Kris. She’s had her concerns about Kris for a while now, but this also feels like a great opportunity for her to understand her child. Will she take it?

Undyne: In the dark word, she’s now an ace detective! Just had her whole worldview flipped on her head and is loving it. But she’s still on her own investigation into who slashed the tires and caused this anomaly. Anyone who gets in her way will be beaten with a huge magnifying glass.

Napstablook: The Dr. Watson to Undyne’s Sherlock Holmes. Somehow, they got roped into helping Undyne investigate Toriel’s slashed tires. Now they’re just here for emotional support. Wait, is that mustache real?

NEW DARKNERS: Chairiel: She runs a cozy little shop in the sprawling desert of Dreamy Drylands. Anyone who enters her shop is greeted with a great big hug. She’s also got plenty of stories to tell!

Tenna: The shady director of Cathode Entertainment and the mayor of Back Stage City. He wasn’t always super mean and bossy, but nobody can figure out why he changed his ways.

C. Rook: The new producer and the head honcho of all the Shadowmen. He may or may not be the actual one responsible for why Cathode Entertainment has been turned upside down.

Lil’ Cutie Pie Once a beloved kids show star, she was forced to change jobs by Tenna to become a full-time chef. Her mood flips between cheerful to hateful constantly, and its got others wondering if her cutesy demeanor is all a facade.

Weather Duo: Always Sunny and Partly Cloudy have always been passionate about reporting the news and for each other. Ever since the recent changes, they’re no longer allowed to show their love when they work together. Maybe with some Lightner intervention, they can be a true couple again!

Mike: The loudmouthed ex-producer of Cathode Entertainment who’s currently on the run. He was once best friends with Tenna, but now is currently investigating into his sudden change in demeanor.

The Scareiff: He was once the star of his own show until someone, thought to have been a fan of his, got too close to him. When him and his show started going downhill, he was swiftly booted from the crew and his show was cancelled. Nobody knows where he is now, but it must be somewhere out in that desert.

EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED: Toto Wolff x Daughter!Reader

Being the daughter of Toto Wolff has its pros and cons. one of the biggest cons being what you choose as your future career, however Y/n Wolff, his daughter never had to worry herself about being judged seeming that she already had plans of her own. From a very young age, the girl would go carting with her dad when he had time and also watch her father compete in races, winning the trophies that now decorates their home, along with her stepmother, Susie Wolff who competed for some time. Watching the two most important people in her life be so passionate about something other than family, made her realize that she wanted to be a part of it.

There were news flying around concerning a new driver joining the Williams Racing Team, preferably a woman, yet it wasn't verified until the day before the race that a faceless female would be driving in the seat. this caused chaos as fans and other F1 workers tried snooping around to figure out who it was, yet everyone was unsuccessful.

The race day has arrived, and everyone tried to get at least a small glimpse of the suspect yet no one that was seen were considered a suspect. The alleged female was spotted for the first time with her helmet over her face during the National Anthem. The drivers then got into their respective cars as they waited for the green lights. the race was going on fine as they all fought for the top positions. Y/n seeing that her uncle Lewis was at number one and struggling to keep his position due to Max being hot on his tail, she found a way to pass him and continued to defend until they crossed the finish line; Lewis in 1st place, Y/n in 2nd place and Max in 3rd place. Her engineer came on happily shouting in her ear. "Great job Y/n, you're at p2. You drove amazing today but don't think I didn't notice what you did for your uncle" he laughed at her. "Yeah, I had to defend my uncle Lew. Tell him I said congratulations and tell daddy I said hi!" Y/n shouted over the radio because the crowd was roaring over her head as she parked.

Up until this point they were still trying to figure out who the female is as Toto stared on in shock at the fact that he heard the sound of the voice of possibly his daughter through the monitors, yet he refused to believe that it was her until he saw her face after she took off the helmet and balaclava, which led the whole world into screams seeing the young girl who had just made history. Toto was in tears as Susie led him out to where his daughter was standing a few feet away from him. "Liebling?" he said loud enough that Y/n turned around and ran into his arms as they embraced while the tears flowed, and the crowd screamed. "Surprise papa!" The 18 years old cheered like an excited toddler as she pulled away from her dad's hug. "Y/n/n, I had no idea that you were interested in this, you never spoke to me about anything concerning this. What changed?" Toto asked his daughter, genuinely confused. "Nothing changed papa, I was always interested but I just didn't know how to explain it to you, so persuaded uncle Lewis to help me even though he had no idea that I was going to be joining professionally. He didn't know that it was me." Y/n explain to calm her father's racing heart.

The young girl went on to the podium celebration, shocking her uncle to tears as he didn't receive the message she had sent before and also Max who she had become friends with over time. The celebration went on as Toto watched on with pride as his daughter collected her first official trophy, he captured the moment holding it dearly to his heart of how he couldn't have been any prouder than in this moment.

Idk if you’ve mentioned it before but what is everyone in the Party’s jobs?? We already know Erica is a kickass politician and Lucas is the family embarrassment doctor but what does everyone else do besides bug Steve lol?

Also is Dustin still with Susie or did that ship sail away in the EMTTS?? <333

So, fun fact about me: I am not a big fan of future AUs. I don’t particularly like reading them and I’ve never written one prior to the Tiktok Saga. I think the problem I have with them is that it’s really hard to determine where a character should be thirty-odd years down the road. How or why a one-off post about Eddie being bad with technology turned into all this, I do not know.

I don’t have everybody’s job picked out because I don’t really think about it until it’s relevant to the story, but luckily, I do spend way too much time thinking about this AU so I have few that haven’t been mentioned.

The ones that have been mentioned: Steve is a teacher, Eddie’s a musician, Nancy’s a journalist, Jonathan’s a photographer, Lucas is a doctor, and Erica is a senator.

I think Argyle owns a very successful marijuana dispensary in California where him and Jonathan live and it gives him the freedom to travel with Jonathan when he goes out of town for business. Argyle just has the vibe that should not be working a nine-to-five. Also, I think that Argyle as an old man stoner with long completely gray hair is just so cool.

Robin is also a teacher, but she teaches at a university in the linguistics department. She spoke four languages when she joined the party, she now speaks nine. She’s written a book. She has a kickass rating on Rate My Professor. She’s likely the front runner to take over the department once the current dean retires next year.

I really like the idea of Max becoming a physical therapist. She had a long road to recovery after Venca and spent over a year in physical therapy just learning how to walk again. She knows what it’s like. She knows when and how hard to push her patients, and she’s good at the job. This also makes Max a doctor so Erica includes Max when she says that Lucas is the worst Sinclair.

I’m less defined on what kind of careers that Will, Mike, and El have. I just haven’t found a job that I’m like, yes, that makes perfect sense for that character. I do think that Will has a career where he can be creative and that he’s successful, I just haven’t narrowed it down to what exactly he does.

Mike and El, on the other hand, I have no idea. I mentioned before that Mike had a band that opened up for Eddie on CC’s first national tour and I imagine that he did one summer or during his gap year before college (if he went to college). El, I like to think, travels a lot and has got to see the world and be free of the responsibility of saving the world. But those two, I think, are tough to pin down to a specific career.

Now, for Dustin.

Dustin has had a very successful career as a researcher and his career has taken him all over the world. Now what exactly does he research? That’s up to you. This man is a scientist and that’s all Steve and Eddie can tell you about Dustin’s job because it’s just over of their heads. He loves it and that’s all they need to know.

Dustin and Suzie are currently not together. They have dated off and on since they’ve known each other and have always split on good terms. It has just always been the wrong time for them because when they’re together, they’re great. They hit it off and decide to start dating again, and then they just get busy. They’re both top of their field and work crazy long hours all over the world, and the cost of that is their relationship.

I think they both kinda know that one day, they’ll meet up at the right time, but for now, they’re good friends and they date other people. Steve thinks that they’re soulmates and he’ll randomly give Dustin an update that Suzie is single again. Dustin is always like, “How do you know that?”

“We’re friends on Facebook.”

Susana “Susie” Franz / Chica the Chicken

-April 1, 1978-June 26, 1987 (9 years old), she/her, Mexican-American

-Born to a well off middle class family, Susie is the oldest of 3 children and her family’s pride and joy. She was a naturally creative child and often thought of as weird by her classmates due to her eccentric behavior.

-Very protective of her boys! (Gabe, Jeremy, & Fritz), she and Fritz are both rather bitey children and who have been sent to the principle’s office a great many times.

-Her dog’s name is Pepperoni! He had been a huge comfort for her growing up (he passed away a few days before her own death)

-Very skilled at arcade games, she tends to rub salt into the wounds of the other children who dare to try and overthrow her (to their own expense)

Jeremiah “Jeremy” Reynolds / Bonnie the Bunny

-Grew up on a block with his parents and older sister, he’s the Hurricane resident menace. Adults often label him as a “problem child”, he’s very fidgety and cannot stay still.

-Has a tendency to get into fights, as such he’s always bruised up and covered in bandaids. This also results in plenty of his clothes being ripped up and dirty, his mom frequently gets onto him for ruining all his nice clothes (he could care less)

-He’s Fritz Smith’s kid! He’s named after his parent. (Fritz actually took their job at Freddy’s to search for their son’s body and damage the Pizzeria’s property as retribution..)

-Had a cute lil crush on Susie while the gang was growing up, his form of affection though is usually shown through teasing, as such, him and Susie behave like a bickering old couple when around each other.

Gabriel Feitt / Freddy Fazbear

-June 26, 1978-June 26, 1987 (9 years old), he/him, American

-Grew up with his dad and older sibling in a less than favorable economic situation. Gabriel is a very empathetic, although anxious young boy. He grew up rather sheltered due to Cassidy’s determination to keep him safe, and he often struggles to connect to other children his age.

-The missing children’s incident happened on his birthday, he deals with a lot of internalized guilt, blaming himself for the deaths of his friends.

-Struggled to have a good relationship with his dad (who for years had been battling his own depression), and being a child, often couldn’t fully understand why his dad wasn’t always present for him and Cassidy.

-Always carrying around a Freddy plush that Cassidy had sewed up for him. It’s his comfort for when Cassidy isn’t around.

Cassidy Feitt / Fredbear

-February 2, 1974-June 26, 1987 (13 years old), nonbinary, they/them, American

-Gabriel’s older sibling and parental figure, Cassidy had to grow up fast following their mother’s passing and their father’s downward spiral. They’re an old soul who wants to keep their brother’s life in order (they often tend to forget that they themselves are still a kid)

-A rather spiteful and unforgiving kid, they prefer to keep to a small circle and not let many people get to close.

-Very protective of the other children (Gabe specifically), they’re everyone’s protector and the first one they go to when they need to be comforted.

-Had one friend growing up, her name was Seraphina Crowe (she was Fritz’s older sister), the Feitt’s and Crowe’s had been neighbors for years so their friendship just naturally blossomed.

Charlotte “Charlie” Emily / The Marionette

-May 13, 1972-May 13, 1983 (11 years old), nonbinary, they/them, American

-A natural born strange kid who loves to tell weird shit just to confuse others. In spite of their behavior they have a rather large circle of friends.

-They’d frequently gather scraps from their dad’s projects to try and come up with their own homemade animatronics (they never really made anything great but hey they had fun)

-Them and Cassidy are both highly protective of the kids, the two of them are highly aggressive to the staff who come around the other children due to their mistrust of adults.

-Always had headphones in when they were alive, they’re easily comforted by music.

and he was the one to help break her out of her shell a bit, having experience with raising mick

because she was always shadowing the aerodynamics team when bono knew she was accounted and taken care of if he wasnt the one watching her

he probably wouldve suggested bringing the two of them out to switzerland to spend time with his family, but with all the busy schedules it never happened

Oh dear, oh dear. Toto and Susie could be in trouble.😂

So... I saw this yesterday and I started to write out a rant about it and i never got around to posting it, so this gives me a great chance to say it now.

I think it's really important to look deeper into this story for a moment because as much as I think Toto can be a jackass, there's a healthy dose of misogyny craftily baked in to this that makes me question its legitimacy.

A) Business F1 Magazine is owned/run by a guy called Tom Rubython and he is... not the best source. He was responsible for the article a few years back, defending Mazepin and saying he was a James Hunt-esque 'bad boy' and F1 desperately needed him to inject glamour back in to it. The magazine also wrote a multi page article detailing the love lives of each driver and it still remains to be seen what its relevance was to a Business magazine except to go, "Oooo look how much these boys fuck!"

B) This is framed as Toto being the problem, but it's quite categorically accusing Susie of being the one being indiscreet because surprise surprise, of course its the woman who spreads gossip. Susie is not the only person who speaks to Greg Maffei, and we've all seen how much these TPs like to bitch and complain.

C) We've also seen Stefano Domenicali hanging out socially with ALOT of these TPs. Why does the gossip pipeline he proposes have to be Susie > Greg > Stefano, when it is far more simple to be Random TP mouthing off > Stefano. Also notice how he brings up Shaila Ann Rao, who was an FIA employee so unconnected to Stefano. So the two strong, highly placed women that have links to Toto are gossips who spread rumours, and the catalogue of MEN in the paddock who all have close connections and existing work and business relationships with teams in the paddock couldn't possibly be guilty of loose lips? That would never happen. Jean Todt, Ross Brawn and Stefano Domenicali were all ex-Ferrari employees and all held the 3 highest F1 related jobs at the same time and noone batted an eyelid. Also... Zak and Mattia were the loudest voices about who had broken cost cap, not Toto so I'm not sure why it keeps falling back to him, except for the fact he had a connection to the woman they were randomly blaming.

D) Drive to Survive is scripted, but we've seen Christian and Gunther both discuss paddock business with their wives, so we know they ALL chat to people about stuff going on. That paddock is a fucking sieve. The fact this goes on about unnamed sources, and brings up the weird accusation about red bull employees kids being bullied again... sounds like this is a specific anti-Toto hit piece, and it's written by the guy who has already made it clear he hates women, so who better to try and bring down with him than his well connected wife.

It's bullshit, stirring up old gripes to try and create a drama and fill column inches after an incredibly dull and event less season and based on the bullshit notion that women gossip and men don't. Even reddit took the post down because it was deemed 'low quality'.

Joey Drew is Gay and there's no way around it (Pt 2)

In Illusion of Living, Joey claims that he was the one who created Bendy. In reality, Henry was the one who ultimately put pen to paper and created Bendy, Boris and Alice. Again, there's possessiveness over Bendy here, but that isn't all. Remember when I said in the previous part that Joey viewed Bendy as his literal son? So, the funny thing about that is...Henry created Bendy...and from Joey's perspective, his son.

Henry created his son.

And even if that's still a reach, Henry created the entity that was one of the most important things in Joey's life-his muse, messenger, and avenue through which he communicated his stories and ideas to the world. (Basically, his favorite OC.)

Things start off pretty swimmingly in terms of their friendship.

Joey was the one who got Henry set up working at the bookstore. (Apparently he also found him more complex than he initially thought.)

Things only pick up steam from here. When Joey finally does see Henry's art, he seems to have a strong reaction.

Joey has a "lightbulb moment" at the sight of Henry's cartoony style. He doesn't stop at the art, though.

(Joey, did he tackle what was right in front of him, or did you just want him to tackle what was in front of him? Be honest, now.)

Notice Abby's reaction. She sees how quickly he gravitates towards Henry's art, and the man himself.

Henry also seems stunned to silence by the high praise Joey gives him, which is a fair reaction to being told he might chart the course of the rest of someone's life.

Notice how Joey can't explain why he had such a sudden fascination with cartoons, he just "felt" it.

Pardon my french, but Abby seems to either be worried that he’s thinking with his dick, or not thinking at all. (Probably both.) Despite Abby's reservations, when Joey keeps his insistence that he wants to get into cartoons, she knows Henry is the man for the job.

And her intuition about bringing them together as business partners paid off.

Henry co-founded the studio with Joey, and by all surrounding context we're given, Joey seemed to be perfectly content with this setup. That is, until their eventual falling out.

We don't know the nitty gritty specifics of their falling out, but we know a few things. For one, it was brutal, which Nathan helps confirm via footnote.

Secondly, we know Henry moved to California. That's all the way across the US. Thirdly, we know Henry had a wife, Linda.

So the guy that helped him actualize his dream, created his SON/favorite OC, and was probably his best friend at the time, fell out with him and moved all the way across the country with his wife (and assumedly didn't talk to him again.)

I would find it hard to believe that Joey was solely using Henry similar to what he did with Susie, because there are very curt admissions throughout Illusion of Living that he can't entirely erase Henry from the narrative, as badly as he wants to. Joey couldn't get Henry out of his mind. Of course he didn't treat Henry fairly, and of course Henry had every right to leave. But he had a strong connection to Henry whether he wanted to admit it or not.

There's no proof that he felt romantically about Henry. There is, however, proof that Joey wanted a family, viewed Bendy as his son, admits he still admired Henry after the fallout, and seemed perfectly content living out his wildest dreams with the man who, from his perspective, created HIS SON.

But we're not done yet. See, Henry is FAR from the only man who had a great deal of relevance in Joey's life.

I'm so glad those pictures of Susie's husband and Max's sperm donor came out. Toto Wolff spent years trying to cover up the fact that he and Jos were friends after Max "betrayed his family for redbull"

I'll never forget an old interview where Toto straight up said "Jos's methods of teaching are harsh but I agree with what he's doing and clearly it worked" Max was 16 at the time when Toto openly agreed with Jos's abusive methods. If I can find it I'll send the link, it's not english so it's gonna take time to even try to find it.

You can find old tweets of Max's where he's joking about with the Mercedes social media accounts because of how close he was to the team before joining f1 because his dad and Toto were friends and it's lowkey sad to see because Max (and Christian) was blamed for that falling out.

Also when Max would get into fights with Mercedes on track Toto instead of being a grown adult and talking things out called Jos about Max to borderline manipulate Max into not fighting Mercedes. Imagine being so mad at an f1 doing his job that you call his abusive dad to come sort him out.

It was so bad that Horner and Helmut Marko had to step in multiple times to defend Max from this grown man having a fit over a child crashing into his drivers. One of Max's self declared best weekends before he got a great car was because Christian gently had Max away from his dad and other forms of stress the whole race week as a test just to see if Max worked better with nobody telling him what to do.

Also lets not forget Toto Wolff slandering everyone for months over Abu Dhabi 2021 but deciding to go out partying after his driver lost the wdc because of some clownery rules. His defense was "I wanted to celebrate the 8th constructors and I could focus on Lewis's 8th later"

Horner has his issues but he would have stormed FIA if that situation happened to him and his team. Also props to horner for never blaming the team for shit cars over the years, Toto has blamed the car and engineers so much this season it's like he's filling a quota. not to mention the foul little apology letter they did at the beginning of the year.

"That's your girlfriend?"

"Before you say anything-"

"She's a sweetheart, that's all I was going to say," George is quick to cut off his teammate, knowing the spiral that was set into motion as soon as June was mentioned. "I caught her, her little boy and Carmen chatting with Lily and Alex earlier. All Carmen could say afterwards was that she absolutely loved her."

"Oh," Is all Lewis can mumble, pleasantly surprised by the response to his love of 3 years. "Sorry for jumping down your throat mate, we've just had some issues with people voicing less than kind opinions the last few years," Lewis is quick to explain, his teammates smile dropping. In his years as Lewis' teammate, he has learned how to tell when something truly bothers the older man, even when he's masking.

And this is one of them.

"I've noticed she seemed antsy but wasn't sure why," The younger driver explains, his eyes drifting back to the woman standing only a few meters from them, talking animately with their reserve driver, Mick smiling brightly. "She seems to enjoy talking to Mick though."

"She told me he's our grid kid now, that she wants to unofficially adopt him," Lewis explains, a smile lighting up his face as he watches her. "I've also been made aware that we've adopted Sargeant and Piastri too."

"What could people possibly take issue with her for? I have never seen Elowyn be anything but wonderful."

Lewis sighs, eyes never leaving his girlfriend. "They don't like that she's a curvy woman. That she's not simply a smaller woman that everyone imagines me to be with," He explains. "They also aren't a fan that she's younger than me by 15 years and a single mom."

"So they hate her for being unique in the world of sports wives and girlfriends?" George attempts to clarify, mildly disgusted at the concept.

"Lew! I just told Mick he could come visit Kaia and Roscoe when you're all on break," Elowyn interrupts the pensive look on Lewis' face, it being replaced with a smile as he pulls her into his side, giving her a gentle peck and taking a sleeping Matthew from her arms and onto his hip.

"Sounds good to me, Love."

"George," She adds, looking over to the boy that is even older than she is. She's aware of what people say, it's hard not to when it's everywhere on social media. "You and Carmen are more than welcome to join, I'm sure Max, Kelly, and P will as well. I'm sure Roscoe and Kaia would be thrilled. So would Mattie, he's kind of a big fan," She adds with a chuckle.

"Oh really? How does that make you feel Lewis? That your boy is a fan of mine," George brags, the cheekiest smile on his face causing Lewis to roll his eyes, scoffing.

"My boy is a Mercedes fan. The fact that you're a driver on the team is just a coincidence. He's a daddy's boy through and through," He boasts, kissing the top of the boy's head.

And you can tell that Elowyn's heart nearly bursts at the show of affection towards her son.

Yes they've been together for years, from the time she was six months pregnant to now Lewis had been in their lives, but the idea that Lewis not only cared for Mattie, but cared for him in a way only a father could.

"Good job today," Toto's deep voice joins the conversation before the debated on who Mattie's favorite driver was could continue. "And it was good to see you and Matthew," He adds, head turning in the direction of Elowyn.

"It was a joy to see you and your family as well. I think playing with Jack tuckered out Mattie," Is Elowyn's response, missing the smile on Lewis' face that George caught.

"Jack and Mattie played together today?" He asks, smiling between a joyful Toto and his girlfriend.

"Mattie, Jack and Kelly's daughter Penelope spent the whole day together. Jack and P were amazing about including Mattie," Is his girlfriend's response before she turns back to his team principle. "You and Susie are really raising a great little guy," She compliments, making Toto's smile larger.

And George can't help but ask himself once more, how any fan could dislike this woman who puts such a bright smile and look of love on their idols face.

But he knows it doesn't matter to Lewis, his arms wrapped tightly around the boy that's practically his son, love vibrating off his body so loud it'd rival the engine of one of their cars.

No matter what anyone says, these two are who he loves.

Wally Franks, truly the self appointed class clown of the studio, he’s a great janitor not just because of how hard he works to keep the studio looking nice all on his own, but because he’ll also do it with a few sassy remarks and a joke to keep moral up as he does. After all, a cartoon studio is the last place to bring a bad mood or a frown as far as he is concerned, or at least that’s the sort of thing he’ll say whenever Sammy’s not anywhere near.

Yes, the janitor of Joey Drew Studios is quite playful and a bit of a loudmouth. With a friendly tip of his hat and a couple of quips, Wally either makes a very good or very bad first impression on most of his coworkers the second they walk through the door. One such coworker was the beloved Susie Campbell; On her first day on the job it was Franks who helped see her to the music department, his remarks and general goofiness seemed to really endear her and the amount of kindness she showed to him despite his status stuck with him. Oh, she was quite the gal and of course Wally quickly found himself hopelessly in love, causing his best friends to shake their heads. Far as Franks cares though, they could tease all they wanted, he and Susie love to dance and giggle their way through life… And god is she lovely when she giggles…

While those two have sweet chemistry that cannot be matched by others, Susie is far from the only close friend Wally has, as Franks has friends in high and low places. Those two being known as Norman Polk and Shawn Flynn, one working up in his projector booth keeping those important machines operating and the other down in Heavenly Toys creating toys for the enjoyment of children. Norman doesn’t seem to know how he ended up falling into the company of Franks, however he wouldn’t give it up for the world and appreciates the janitor’s company… even if he won’t admit it out loud.

Flynn on the other hand knew he and Wally would get along from the moment they met. They share a love of jokes and a need to lighten the mood whilst on the job that their coworkers aren’t always a big fan of. However, one of the traits Shawn most values in Wally is his honesty and need to stick up for what he believes is right, even when many of his coworkers write him off for just being the janitor. He overhears more than they think, especially since other people often have a hard time taking him seriously when discussing sensitive information around him. Shawn and Wally both know how hard it can be to understand that while a lot of their coworkers like them, they don’t really tend to respect them due to the jobs they chose. If anything’s off however, Shawn knows Wally won’t shut up about it until it’s resolved, no matter how dismissive people get towards him.

With a heart of gold and cheery attitude, Franks is sure to brighten the mood of his grumpiest coworkers or die trying! The studio will be looking clean either way and hopefully with his presence, he can bring a few chuckles to his friends while he works. Those people can keep complaining all they want! But if they don’t start appreciating all the hard work he does around here? He’s outta here!

If the swaps affect the universe as a whole, do I start the story at the beginning, or can I write the first part as based on a later game? And am I allowed to keep some things the same? (For example, if I swapped Meta Knight and Susie Haltmann, could I keep President Haltmann as Susie’s father?) And do you have any tips in general for stuff like this?

Hello there! What a great question!

First, a disclaimer: I am by no means a professional storyteller. In fact, I think my creative process and thought organization methods would probably cause a professional to take psychic damage, haha! But I'll give you some of my thought process behind my swap-making decisions and try to be as helpful as possible!

I think my biggest piece of advice would be this! It's your AU, so YOU get to make up all the rules!! You can follow canon as closely as you want, or you can just run wild! The only restrictions are the ones you put on yourself! Make sure to have fun exploring the different possibilities of the universe you're swapping in! :)

You also don't have to set anything in stone. Initially, I only swapped Dedede and Bandee and left the rest of the canon story alone because I just wanted to make a Bandee boss fight. But about a month after my first drawing of swapped Bandee, I started thinking about the fun chaos of swapping more and making the canon story my own! So remember that your story is allowed to evolve over time!

I'm a pretty visual thinker. When I was deciding who to swap, I remember I actually drew out the characters in a sort of graph so it was easier to think about what swapping the role would affect in the universe.

It's all in the name: ROLEswap! To keep it less overwhelming, boil the characters down to their basic role in the story. Then it's easier to think about it.

Let's take the Protector role in Forgotten Land for example. This is the character that stays behind from the main adventure of Players 1 and 2, but does a lot in the background. Protecting the town from Beasts, presumably helping the Dees, running a tournament, etc.

In canon Meta Knight protects the town with constant vigilance because he's a steadfast and disciplined knight. He's so devoted to his job, he doesn't even interact with anyone on ground level! He runs the tournament to help train Kirby and keep his own blade sharp.

But if Kirby were to do it, I imagine he might simply immerse himself into the town's culture and daily activities, especially if there's food involved! The tournament he'd host would be for entertainment- to boost the morale of the town's population (and to eat delicious stadium snacks)! He would still do well at defending the town because of his enormous power level, but he would do it differently than Meta and the others.

I should also mention that my Roleswap AU is strictly about the effects of swapping roles in the Forgotten Land plot. In this universe, Kirby's Adventure, Superstar, Dreamland etc. all occurred the same as in canon.

I guess you could say..... My AU is about how much a Butterfly Effect would change the entire plot with one simple action that snowballs into an entirely different outcome.

...I didn't pick that choice of words purposefully at all. >:3

But yes! Regarding your specific ask, you can start the story wherever you want! If you wanna explore swapping Susie and Meta Knight from the very beginning of the series, or just from Planet Robobot, do it! There are no rules except yours! :D

If it were me, I would boil down Meta's role as a Knight and Defender, and Susie as the businessperson and invader- then ask myself what each character would do in these roles. How much of their personality would remain intact from canon, and how much would they change? Would you want Haltmann to remain Susie's father? Or would you give Meta Knight an antagonistic father figure?

That is entirely up to you. And that's the best part!! If you want to totally ignore me, that's within your right! You get to interpret whatever you want to write the exact story you want to tell!! <3
