I'm sorry I just can't keep it in anymore, I need release - people need to Shut Up about the content creators and their personal dynamics.

A comment on one of the Takeout Trio/Skranchers vods (Jimmy's vod to be specific) was complaining about how they're so refreshed seeing him playing with people that are "actually nice" to him and how they're sick of all the picking on him and it just.. Jesus christ, butt out? Jimmy is a 27 year old man. He has known his friends for years and doesn't need any of us policing him on who he spends time with or how he spends time with them!

I get it, I really do: I love Jimmy and I love seeing how he's improved and am happy to see him keep going! That moment during the Hermit x Empires crossover when everyone kept saying the best parts of Tumble Town were the pranks genuinely made me feel a bit sick in my stomach because it's just really tough.. but I just click off. Because I know that we see a very limited portion of the interactions between these people in real life. Because I know that if anyone was genuinely uncomfortable about something, it wouldn't really be our business and that the CCs can talk to each other about it off camera.

Beyond that, I love seeing what the fandom does with it! I love seeing the angst, I love seeing the hurt/comfort, the hurt/no comfort.. but then people make it about the CCs or they completely mischaracterize the characters and it's just so-- disheartening.

This happens with a lot of CCs and Characters, but I'm more specifically thinking about Jimmy and Joel (mostly because they're who I watch a lot and I love these silly guys) and how everyone seems to think that nothing but malice stands between them and it's so? Telling? Of how many perspectives they get?

If you just watch Jimmy's or any-outside-the-dynamic povs you might think Joel is Just mean to him,, but like,, good GODS these MEN make me INSANE. First of all, all forms of Joel express their love via pranks and tomfoolery and whatnot. Have you HEARD some of his intros? How he talks about himself between player Joel and editor Joel?? He is mean, yes, but it's GENUINELY like a love language for that man I swear. Jesus christ. What is his deal. Additionally, anytime he visited Tumble Town to prank Jimmy, he almost always ends up complimenting the buildings and how far Jimmy has come and Oh My God this MAN.

Fuck this, this confession is turning into a Joel fan rant. I love Joel. All my homies love Joel. That silly man is an ogre with LAYERS. He has loyalty, but where it lies is less within session to session and more season to season. He can be careless, but it doesn't mean he doesn't Care. I think the ending is so so smart because first off, the vault, it ends all the scythes but not like ends, like it ends their jobs and the fact that Faraday still helps well the people die from the plagues is so cool and ALSO a reference to the beginning of the first book which is like my favorite thing ever it’s so smart and UGHHH also the fact that all the tonist bodies got supplanted if that’s how you spell it, AND CURIE CAME BACK. which makes me want to know who else got brought back out of everyone, I CHOOSE TO BELIEVE that the Thinderhead supplanted Volta into one of the bodies because it saw that he didn’t want to be a scythe and liked killing people and then supplanted-Volta was on Rowan and Citra’s planet and met again and it was happy because JESUS CHRIST THIS BOOK IS SO SAD I NEED PARTS OF IT TO BE HAPPY, Also Jeri and Greyson dumb little part “I’m going to miss you” “Me too” “Better go to your ship” “I’m not leaving?” “Me either” THEYRE SO STUPID, NO ONE GETS THEM LIKE ME YOU DONT UNDERSTANDDDD they’re so in love I CANT handle it and oh jdbdjsjbfjf my LORD, like Greyson not understanding the fact that “Oh! Because oh my god the way that it talks about Greyson makes me want to scream and cry and THROW UP because it loves him so much and spends so much time and energy and attention making sure Greyson ok, even just in the second book but especially in the Toll, then Greyson shuts it out which is so sad and the Thunderhead was so sad about it, it cried, it rained for so long then it was alone I CANT DO THIS Also in Gleanings with Cirrus when it didn’t understand how to greive because it didn’t have anything to make rain like the Thunderhead did so it dimmed the lights :(( then it was so scared the whole time AUUGHGGNGNHN anyways. But then the Thundehead was so so lonely and it’s so sad because it had never been lonely before and the book was like “The Thunderhead had never been devastated before, but it found out what it meant to be truly inconcosible” obviously not a direct quote but I can’t remember and jsbgjfbfbfh I can’t it’s litterely so tragic and the fact that I’ve cried over this book is dumb but JESUS CHRIST DUDE how does someone just write that?? I’m super excited for the show because I want to see how it’s gonna portray the Thunderhead (even though there isn’t as much of it in the first book but whatever) and UGHFBBG I can’t I quite literally can not, it might be my second favorite character because HFHFHGBG it’s so sad and so well written and the fact that it’s supposed to be this all powerful being and still acts like how it does is so special to me no one gets this book like me YOU DONT UNDERSTAND Hi!

But then it leaves and you just, collapse then even after she wakes up the book talks about how she freaks out and flips Greyson off of her and, is scared, it scared her, and Jeri is barely scared in the book, even when the place they had been staying with Citra was getting attacked and people had died and were still getting revived, they weren’t panicking or anything, but after the Thunderhead possess them they were scared ☹️

Like barring the literal mirroring of Hunter and Caleb at the beginning of the episode and the Tale of the brother's Wittebane showing you who's supposed to represent the brothers using an animation from Hollow Mind... The tale foreshadowed Luz dying by Philip's hand:

"Philip set off to save his brother and bring the witch to justice."

With this image overlaying the dialogue

This is not the only example of Luz being foreshadowed to die by Philips hand. In TTT, Luz is foreshadowed to die 3 times, here they are in order.

1.) During Camila's dream, Luz kills herself with a dagger - a weapon that's associated exclusively with Philip.

2.) When Hunter and Luz are in the basement of Caleb's house, we see this image of their shadows

Which tells us, point blank, Philip is going to kill Luz

3.) The final piece of foreshadowing is during the Tale of The Brother's Wittebane, which I've already shown you earlier with the dialogue and the image... but ill also put it here so you dont have to scroll up to see it

Like I legit don't know how people can miss this when it's right infront of their faces. No one else in the show besides Luz shares traits with Evelyn... so who the FUCK do you think the writers are talking about when they made Masha say "Philip set off to save his brother and bring the witch to justice."

And dont even get me started on the framing during the carriage ride - how it literally only showed Hunter's and Luz's reactions to the tale AND did this unsubtle shit:

Hunter is cosplaying as a human character and Luz is cosplaying as a witch character... as they are listening to a story about how Philip's brother was lured away to another world by a witch. You literally cannot make this shit up. This isn't a reach either - it's right there for you to see.

It's honestly so embarrassing when people bring up Luz looking like Philip in King's Tide as proof she's supposed to be Philip... The only reason why she looks like Philip is because she thinks she's just as bad as him. That was what they were trying to convey to the audience in that episode. Which is why you were never supposed to take that "parallel" seriously - as this "parallel" is based on Luz's fears and insecurities.

Also, I can't believe people are bringing up Luz "hugging" Hunter while hes possessed as PROOF she's supposed to be Philip because it looks kind of similar to the painting of Caleb hugging Philip... Luz is LITERALLY DRESSED AS A WITCH and they're using that as proof for Luz being Philip... just think about how dumb that is for a second, especially when you take into account this "hug" comes after the Tale of The Brother's Wittebane...

The show LITERALLY tells you Luz is supposed to be Evelyn and not Philip. She is the witch Philip is trying to bring to justice. [Also ya know.... Luz has been training to become a witch for THE ENTIRE SERIES. So why would she be paralled to the literal witch hunter and not the witch... make it make sense.]

This is why when Philip kills Luz - she is dressed as a witch. This is why when Luz literally and metaphorically steps into her power to defeat Philip, she is still A WITCH... like Jesus Christ... This shit doesnt require a literature degree to understand lmaooo.
