I've always wondered why the Romans think demigods all of a sudden started getting claimed? They couldn't know about Percy's deal with Olympus, so what do they think happened?

The gods were probably like "as a reward for fighting in the war we will now claim you all!"

The Romans were probably pretty proud of that.

Then like a year later this conversation happens:

Annabeth: and then after Percy made the gods promise to claim all their children-

Jason: THAT WAS YOU?!

the way that luke tried so hard to get percy to join him in comparison to him plotting percy’s death via scorpion in the books is tbh so so good for story building. percy doesn’t understand luke’s motivations this early in the story so seeing luke beg percy and try to get him to understand is just so painful and makes the betrayal hit so much harder

Really shows how fandoms are welcome to change, as long as it's GOOD change, considering how different the amusement park scene was in the show vs the books. It's nowhere close to the book scene but we are all FOAMING at the mouth over it. It's not change that makes a movie adaptation bad, it's the way you handle it and the way you show complex character arcs that can't be shown on a screen the way it can be on a page

Obsessed with how Annabeth isn't spacial, she isn't a chosen one, she has no demigod magic powers, she is for all intents and purposes, a fairly normal girl.

But she poured her blood, sweat and tears into becoming the best warrior she could be. She trained hard for years because she knew she had disadvantages and she didn't want to be seen as weak.

She's literally known in Camp and by monsters like Alecto as the most powerful demigod alive and she doesn't have powers. It's almost as of girls don't need to be magical to be a hero!

Alright so I was on character ai right an the bot was like write a original myth of the god of your choosing and so I wrote a mock first paragraph of it and when I finished I was like damn this is actually good. So when I got to school today my friend was like "For history we get to write a myth for whatever god we want" and I was like "WHAT???" this is too fucking convenient so anyways heres the opening paragraph:

In her youth Aphrodite was beautiful, an object of lust and desire.

An object for men to win. now reduced to this, all of the rage bottled in her and *needing* to be the prettiest, boiled over, becoming jaded and bitter. She was made for the male gaze and once they had no use for her, she felt as if she was nothing. She was known for being vengeful and rightfully so, but was she vengeful to the right people?

She was supposed to be kind, loving, and gentle. But they had made her into the godess she was today, a monster and punisher of women who dared to be more pretty than her, after all *she* was the godess of love and beauty and who was she without those things?

OBSESSED with the newest episode of percy jackson. percy knew he was going to die but did NOT want to let annabeth die on his watch. this man was DYING FROM VENOM but went to fight the chimera because that’s what he does and his fatal flaw is DEFINITELY loyalty.
