— "What the fuck." You started at the merman who wriggled around for space. His eyes looked at you in fear as he saw you, before a blush had spread across his face.

Up until 30 seconds ago, you had lived a normal life, well, except for the obscene amount of work you were stressed out with. So you hopped on the boat your parents had gifted you some years ago and sailed into the sea. The feel of the ocean breeze hitting your face was a familiar sensation to you.

This was because your parents were fishermen and loved to eat seafood, and naturally, you had gravitated towards seafood, but with prices these days and your never-ending workload, it didn't allow you to do anything without setting you back on your tight deadlines. Until today.

You had gotten a whole week of paid vacation because a coworker was threatening to bring them to court for a long list of harassment. So they gave the people who worked the most a one week paid vacation. Though, to her, it wasn't enough, so you're getting a paid vacation week while they are still going to get sued. Whatever, its their fault either way.

Anyways, how did you reel in a merman that shouldn't even exist? Frankly, you don't know either. You had accidentally started to daydream, which turned into you not realizing something was caught, so instinctively, you were able to reel in a merman.

"H-huuuumann?" His deep moss green eyes stared at up at you with interest whilst you nearly got blinded by the shimmering gleem of his scales that were scattered across his cheeks. He stopped his advancements towards you until it was difficult to hold up his neck to see you.

"Erm... sorry for catching you, I was daydreaming. I'll unhook the fish hook attached to you..." You apologized and went down to unhook him, only for him to pull down your pants and underwear down, making you fall on the bench below you and stuffing his face in your genitals.

"Hey! W-what are you doing?" You pushed his face away, to which he pouted to. He sat there for a while as you tried to push him off the boat, to no avail.

"I... Accceppt thhis marrriaage!" He excitedly said as he tugged on your pants to gently pull it off again, but you held on tightly to your pants.

"What marriage? I didn't propose to you?" You evaded from his pulling hands in confusion.

"Whennn youuu reeeeledd mmeee inn dummmyy!" He slurred his words once more. "Shtop! I waant too tasstte you firrst beeforrre you tassteeee mee!" He huffed before his nails turned into sharp claws that shreaded your pants, then pulled down your underwear again and happily stuffing his face and licking your crotch with his tongue that felt rough.

Once more, you tried to move away but only ended up moaning at the feeling. Your face was slightly hot as you looked away but was swiftly pulled back in for a kiss, tasting your own fluids.

"Ah... finally... now it's your turn, cutie pie. We have to go to my hometown to get married <3"

"WHAT!?!? Firstly, no! Secondly, i will drown!"

"... Who said you can say no? When you reeled me, it was akin to a marriage proposal. Also, that's why you suck my dick and kiss me <333"

hihi! srry if youve answers this but mobile isnt making it easy to search. what's your general process for making moodboards? it's weird bc I have nooo problem making stim boards! but mbs are rly difficult for my brain evn though I wanna. how do you do it?

Hello hello! I haven't answered this before, but it's a great question!!

I usually start with either an original idea or a request that I feel like doing (sorry people who've been waiting a long time), and at that point I usually have some idea in my head of the color scheme or vibes that I want it to have and set out to Pinterest!

I gave my list of go-to items to search in a previous ask, which can be found here!

Once I've found at least 9 pictures (sometimes more than 9 for extra options) I crop them all to a 1:1 ratio so they appear as a grid of squares instead of rectangles, and sometimes make minor alterations to the color temperature (warm or cool tones) so the pictures all look coherent!

After that I play around with the composition of the picture, which can take a while depending on how many colors I'm working with. Here are 2 examples of what I mean!

This one has 2 main focus colors (as most of my moodboards do), green and brown, so the composition of it alternates between the two colors the whole time! I would also do this if it had 3 main colors. This just makes it look more even overall; to me, at least.

This one, on the other hand, is just 1 focus color, which is grey! So I didn't worry as much about the composition of it. I could move anything here to any other place, and it would be approximately the same! I treat moodboards with more than 3 focus colors the same way as moodboards with just 1, so those are less deliberately structured.

After all of that, I choose which dni banner I think fits best with what I made, write my tags out, and I'm done!! This process usually takes 20 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on how long it takes me to find the right pictures!

I hope this walkthrough of my process was helpful, and obviously there's no singular correct way to make moodboards!! Good luck Anon!

[BEFORE THE BEGINNING — three sentences (or more) about something that happened before the plot of my current project] (I MIGHT HAVE GO OVERBOARD DJDJDJ)

context: for this one I'm picking an AU I'm having brainrot somehow. It's a 20s AU for Kent and Maia! I'm gonna do this somewhat from her pov, and in this; let's just say there's a lot of difference from the mb itself. But, here's a snippet from the past of the AU.

“What do you say, dear? Will you make me the happiest men alive today and forever?" The man in front of her kneels with a velvet box in hand. The inside must've cause him quite a number, and here she is. She's staring at the shiny diamond, and him.

He smiles, the dimples evident through his excitement. They've talked about this, but she didn't expect it to be as soon as this.

Her lips were locked, she couldn't reply. She couldn't nod, or shake her head. She didn't want to break his smile, and his excitement. She loves him, but is she prepare to live this way? Being a housewife, leaving all her unachieved dreams behind? He was always enough, he came from a life that's enough for this time. Picture perfect to her, and she was the opposite. Would it work in the last run? Would she be okay with abandoning her wish to reached for her voice her mother promised before.

The questions filled her mind, all those what-if's haunted her especially at this moment. And it brought her back to life, only to meet with his eyes once again. His eyes were hopeful, bright, and she doesn't want to be the person who dims the light away. He wanted the comfortable life, but she wants more. She wanted to make a name, if not for her sake; for her mother. She was the midnight rain that came and swoop the sunshine away.

"I'm sorry, but..I can't." And with those words; her whole world crashes and stumble, and all the lights dimmed. She smiles through the darkness, hoping the light will shine again. For him, for them both, and especially for herself.

I wanted it to be an exchange of different opinions/viewpoints between two people because not everyone shares the same views and I sought to hear more details from someone else’s perspective. I wanted you to share yours so I shared mine, that way you could understand where I was coming from and then I could read your viewpoint and understand yours if you replied. you might not have been around my blog long enough to remember me posting about this stuff when st*cky shippers started coming into the s*mb*cky tag (blocking the name out just bc i don't want this showing up in the tag, as it's not about the ship, even though i adore the latter ship) and talking shit about the latter ship because they just "didn't see the chemistry" and "didn't understand how people could ship it when st*cky were so obviously meant to be soulmates" or whatever the fuck, but i really did not take kindly to that, and wouldn't have even if it wasn't ship wars based. i might clown on ships on my own personal blog (always blocked out so nothing shows up in tags) or with my friends that i know have a similar opinion, and i might even really dislike a ship to the point that it makes me want to block every instance of it and all the people who regularly post about it, but i'd never start a conversation with them with the intentions of telling them all the reasons i personally actually really disliked it, unless they started shit first

like, i understand you were trying to understand, which is fine. again, if the first ask had simply been, "what do you like most about phee and tech?" or "what made you ship techphee in the first place?" i would have been happily gushing about the chemistry i see between them, i'm sure. but if that conversation you think you should have led into at all included your opinion on disliking tech and phee together, i can assure you i would have been just as mad because, quite frankly, i did not ask. i did not plan on asking. i do not want to know. i am not particularly sympathetic to your opinion, and even less so now, and all i wanted was to be left alone to be happy about the ship i thought was cute getting screen time of them being soft and flirting with each other

but the fact of the matter is that saying things like "as if it's 'funny/cute' to watch someone who doesn't understand social cues or needs time to adjust to interactions be thrown for a loop" (implying that the ship is problematic as it's a way to make fun of a neurodivergent character) and "their line of overused tropes that more so appeal to the masses of heterosexual neurotypical viewers" (to someone who is very much not heterosexual, by the way, and is very vocal about that) is going to be taken as inflammatory and discourse-starting, because it is. those are highly charged things to say, with a lot of negative emotional weight behind them, which is the prime breeding ground for discourse, especially when tacked onto an ask whose purpose is to ask why i don't think that way. it felt very "well i see that this ship is problematic for x and y reasons, why do you not see it?" nothing in that ask read like it was asked in good faith and, even with this added on explanation of intent, it still is hard to ignore how charged your (once again, unsolicited) reasoning for disliking the ship was. it felt almost accusatory, which is why it felt like a demand to explain myself

like i said, i don't really want to keep going with this conversation. i mostly just wanted to answer this second ask to say please don't go out looking for a conversation partner with the express intent of eventually offering your viewpoint, which is essentially shitting on a thing that they like. ask people why they like the ship if you want to know, and end the conversation there. keep your opinions on your own blog, and i'm sure you'll eventually find someone who shares them to talk about it with, but like keep your negativity about it from the people who love/like/enjoy it. i can assure you they do not want it, and they didn't ask.

Just surfed past your USB question in computer tags and while 4 months late, a Gigabyte (GB) is a unit used for measuring storage capacity comprised of 1024 Megabytes (MB). You didn't mention what you want to store(text documents, photos, videos, games etc) because they all take varying amounts of space. when you know the size of what you want to store and how much there is, you can figure out what size drive you need. Assuming USB thumb drives/flash drives/usb sticks/all the same thing. To avoid being scammed you want to look for well known manufacturers like Sandisk,Sony,Samsung,Verbatim,Kingston etc and stay away from no name/generic drives. To find the size or amount of data stored in a file/folder/drive you can right click and choose "Properties" on Windows or "Get Info" on a Mac and note the "size" or "used" number. I'll note your blog and check back every so often and see if you have a reply.

NEXT! I actually have a few multi-fandom comfort reads right now for all my current ships, if that's okay?? I like sharing great reads in other fandoms I'm a part of since DBH and Red Dwarf are kind of tiny fandoms, lol, and since I'm a rec blog, never hurts to help those people also get traffic from an unlikely source, hahah. I just don't file them as diligently as I do with Johnlock, so apologies for the tags.

Let's do a top 20, and I'll start with Johnlock obviously, and then give you a few from each of my other current fandoms, if you are willing to fandom jump! Some are probably obvious, and maybe not, but I hope you enjoy all of them!
