Azure Gleam Ch 11

Spoilers below for AG Ch 11.

STORY

RODRIGUE is back. You have no idea how happy I am that he got more screen time (and is now playable!)

Ashe's not happy that some nobles kept their titles after turning coat, but they can't afford the chaos changing things would create right now, but they plan to in the future.

I am living for the Big Dad energy Rodrigue always has.

Do we get to kill Caspar's Dad? Please let me kill Caspar's dad.

Felix asking the right questions - asking if they can trust Claude. Annette doesn't trust Claude. Ingrid neither, but doesn't think he's as bad as Annette and Felix.

Gustave and the Knights of Serios are keeping the Alliance in check.

Once again, people asking if Dimitri can kill his step-sister. But Dimitri's like, guys, I killed Rufus. I can handle it.

Ohh, a letter from Patricia? If it doesn't have new info, why bring it up? Something disturbing. Confirmation she was always bad.

Yep, she helped plot Duscur. I mean, we all guessed she was an awful human being, so now we know.

Like, I don't blame Patricia for missing Edelgard or whatever, but setting your child step-son to get butchered alongside tons of other innocent people is straight-up evil.

Dimitri's worried about Shez, and she's opening up to him. It's pretty sweet. It's also so sweet how much they trust Shez even if she doesn't trust herself.

Honestly, Dimitri and Shez are so cute, as friends or more, it doesn't matter, they have a great relationship.

Shez would rather die than kill her friends 😭 We won't let that happen (it better not happen)

MAP/SIDE BATTLES

Rodrigue got to say two things this time, which means he made up for lost time last chapter.

Ok guys, Shamir just went up in my books. She said as a mercenary she'll get hired to kill anyone, but prefers killing bad guys, like the Empire. I love it. She hasn't said anything like this in GW or SB.

SHEZ & RODRIGUE B

LAMO, omg, I love Shez.

So it starts with Rodrigue taking Shez very seriously as Shez talks about how the war may be over by next winter because she . . . wants to have a snowball fight, like all the Kingdom kids got to do.

It's actually kind of sweet, seeing Shez want to just play and have fun with the Blue Lions.

Rodrigue, of course, love the idea.

And takes snowball fighting too seriously, talking strategy. Of a snowball fight. OMG I love this. I love him.

He'd do full-out battle with Lambert and go with kids.

Rodrigue lost, lamo.

So Lambert would rush into battle alone, and Shez thinks like father like son with Dimitri.

I also love how Rodrigue thinks Gautier is cowardly for laying and ambush for Lambert, but is totally fine with his own sneaking and waiting to strike.

It ended with them getting cussed out by Ingrid's dad for not taking the mountain seriously.

Shez can invite Rodrigue to join in.

Oh, man, I wish I got to see this fight. I can only imagine Felix when he realizes Rodrigue is involved and thinking it's dumb for taking it seriously, then taking it seriously. Ingrid being an absolute tyrant ordering people to follow her strategies. Dimitri scared he'll knock someone's teeth out. Mercedes being absolutely savage. And so on...

DIMITRI & YURI C

Excited for this.

Yuri's told a "funny knight" who's really strong is helping everyone out who sometimes sounds sheltered and obtuse and sometimes not. Yep. It's Dimitri.

Yuri's not happy seeing Dimitri in dangerous allies. Worried about him. But Dimitri wants to learn how the commoners live so he can help them rule better.

OMG, Yuri's like "you don't have an heir," worried about the civil war that will happen if Dimitri dies.

Yuri is determined for Dimitri to live a long and happy life because the people of Faerghus like Dimitri and Yuri likes the commonfolk of Faerghus.

Also love how Yuri points out that if war breaks out, nobles will die, but commoners get slaughtered. Wish he'd tell Edelgard that.

Haha, he says to bring Dedue at least.

OMG, I love Dimitri. He then just asks Yuri to be his bodyguard.

And Dimitri won't ask Dedue because he knows Dedue will just forbid Dimitri from coming, like a nanny, lol.

Yuri's entertained that Dimitri asked him to be a bodyguard.

SYLVAIN & DEDUE B

Dedue is impressed with Sylvain for interacting with a woman like a normal person lamo.

"Don't expect praise for merely doing your job." I love Dedue. That's savage af.

Sylvain was motivated to mature by Felix and Dimitri. He said they're both like brothers, which is why he wouldn't get left behind. I love this group.

Oof, Dedue "had" a sister. And now we're getting to learn about her. 😭 She liked flower crowns and was determined when she set her mind to it.

Dedue wants Sylvain to visit Duscur after the war, to visit her grave together 😭

SYLVAIN & FELIX A

Felix got into a fight with soldiers . . . . because they were making fun of Sylvain.

Felix called it the "worst decision in his life." Of course. Felix being Felix.

Felix didn't tell Sylvain because he was worried about Sylvain hearing the details about what people said about him.

I love the idea of Felix getting into a fist-fight with people insulting Sylvain lamo.

Sylvain thinks he deserves his bad reputation because of who he used to be. Felix challenged why Sylvain didn't change sooner. Sylvain has no defense lol.

Felix is ok with people making fun of Sylvain, but only certain people lamo.

Felix is blushing after saying something nice lol. Now he's pissed at Sylvain. And insulting him. Very typical Felix.

Sylvain says he's 7% more cunning than Felix lamo.

This one did go more into ship bait. I was surprised how un-shippy their C was, but I'm sure Sylvix fans loved this one.

DIMITRI & MERCEDES A

They're traveling to a village together. It's the one Mercedes used to live in. Dimitri likes how calm it is.

Mercie called Dimitri her friend 😭😭

Dimitri claims he's a king's knight lol. He catches himself. Also village woman finds Dimitri handsome. She has taste.

Mercedes and Dimitri talk about how open minded the church is and give credit to the overall teachings (lamo, eat shit, Claude)

Mercedes is grateful to Dimitri to taking in the Central Church because it helped the village out. It's why she brought him there, so he could see the good that comes from protecting the church.

Mercedes plans to show him around the town and introduce Dimitri to her mother and the priest.

Dimitri's nervous lol. Hahaha, Mercie says she'll tell him he's someone "very important" which flusters him lamo.

She made him laugh and smile.

This support was adorable. (and feels like it couldn't possibly be the same writers as SB and GW lamo)

MERCEDES & DEDUE B

Sad they only get one support. Their Houses one was amazing.

Mercedes is teaching cooking. The little girl gets scared of Dedue when he arrives to fetch Mercie.

Poor Dedue frightens children and animals :(

Mercie says lots of the kids are orphans, so they're scared, and that Dedue looks intimidating. She has a plan to make him not look as scary.

I KNEW IT! He's handing out flower crowns. I was going to say it was something with flowers.

Now all the kids love Dedue. Good. He's the sweetest man in Fodlan.

Dedue teaches them how to make the crowns.

Dedue is happy with Mercedes, but Mercie says it was Dedue's kindness who won them over. Of course they both give each other credit.

They both have such strong mom and dad energy.

SHEZ & ANNETTE A

Annette's up late working on music lol. Shez thinks the notes look like bugs lol.

Annette won't sing it though :( Her songs are legendary.

She wants a song that makes people feel happy when they sing it. Very Annette.

She heard the song Shez passed around getting sung by a dying mercenary, who died happy though because they appreciated the song. It made Annette appreciate the song more.

She is such a sweetie.

It's sweet to have a whole support revolve around Annette realizing her songs make people happy and help people. She'd love that.

OMG, I love Annette. Her new song is about a feast, then they go to get more ingredients, and then get into a death battle with a bear. Truly a child of Faerghus.

RAPHAEL & FELIX C

Raphael is drooling over Felix's food, so he gives it to Raphael, and Felix offers to go buy more.

Felix thinks he hears thunder, but it's just Raphael's stomach.

Felix is being nice, lol, insisting Raphael eat some of his food.

But now he's annoyed that Raphael called him a "meat buddy" or a bit. Felix likes the idea of hunting that Raphael suggested.

Raphael is so nice not even Felix can manage to get mad at him.

SYLVAIN & IGNATZ C

Sylvain feels bad because he interrupted Ignatz painting. He wanted Ignatz to look at a painting he brought home.

Sylvain knows painting styles (he knows it's not a common Faerghus style). But ofc Sylvain is interested in how pretty the woman in the painting is lamo.

He's curious about the woman's identity, but it doesn't seem in a fuck boy way, but a curiosity over a favorite piece of art way.

That Sylvain is into art just made him even cooler.

Religious art often has their symbols in the art (and Flayn's is fish lamo, good).

As a major art fan, I love this support adding little tid bits about Fodlan art.

Lamo, Sylvain studied art to impress ladies at first, but now he actually likes it.

SETETH & YURI C

Yuri chatted with a scholar, wanting to learn about the 10 elites because he didn't get a good education.

It's a support to explain how crests came to be and their powers

Yuri trusts Seteth with his crest secrets (partly because he knows Seteth already knows, and partly bc Yuri has taste)

Seteth encourages Yuri to cherish his crest and the power it brings

So is Yuri the son of an elite or something?

FLAYN & SHEZ B

Flayn thinks Shez looks good because she's dirty and that suites her lol. I love Flayn.

Flayn is wearing perfume. Seteth probably doesn't know lamo.

Flayn talks about how perfumes coming in trend shows that even in dark times, it's not all consuming. Very Flayn of her.

We're going trend shopping. She doesn't get to shop often.

Flayn is straight-up making shit up, lamo. She invented that Shez wanted to shop to raise Shez's spirits, not hers.

It's this more -uh - questionable side of Flayn that keeps her from being a one-note, overly sweet character. I love it.

CATHERINE & SHEZ C

Count Charon asks Catherine for more soldiers, but only Dimitri or Rhea could give that order.

Shez didn't know Catherine's family. She stays vague about it when Shez asks about her past.

Catherine, unsurprisingly, says she'd fight for Rhea if had to choose between her or her family.

Catherine asks why Shez is here. Oh, I can pick too - for friends, money, or to fight Byleth. Def picking friends. I think that suits AG Shez best.

Catherine looks happy with that answer.

Oh, I like that, live in a way that makes your past self proud.

ASHE & FELIX B

Their only support.

Oh, Felix is confronting Ashe about how he's a knight working for Dimitri. Should've known it would be about this.

Ashe defends Felix when he calls Dimitri a boar and tiresome lol.

Ashe says Dimitri does his job for him, omg, Dimitri, stop (but that's he's getting better).

Felix is like - you have to steal your job back from him!!! Use force if you have too - I love this, lamo

Dimitri promoted a lot of commoners to be knights, and there were some minor misunderstandings at first, but now no one cares

Felix asks Ashe if he's a noble or commoner, and Ashe is like kinda both actually, which is true

Awww, Dedue comes to Ashe's aids when he needs it (and Dimitri, but Ashe mentioned Dedue too)

And now Ashe is singing Dedue's praises, and ofc Felix insults Dedue, saying that blind loyalty will get him killed

And omg hahaha, Ashe is like that's sweet Felix, that you care about us, I always knew

I love how almost no one takes Felix's tsun seriously. They're all like "aww, look, he's chewing my old slipper!" energy

Ashe putting Felix in his place round 2, I love this. Ashe and Felix is always gold

Felix is like, it's just because more work for me if something happens to you!

Then he's finally nice, telling Ashe he does a good job

ANNETTE & SYLVAIN B

Their only support

This time it's Sylvain who catches Annette singing. Annette seems relieved rather than embarrassed.

Sylvain thinks her song is creepy (covers that, saying creative) and that only Annette could make it (affectionate - maybe)

Why is Annette always singing about swamp beasties?

Sylvain wants a song about something cute instead, so Annette naturally jumps to huge bears lamo

We need an Annette Bernedetta support about finding creepy stuff cute

Annette doesn't seem upset with criticism

Also, this is the second time Sylvain talks to Annette like a person and doesn't really flirt with her, more like siblings vibes it's cute

Annette's next song is even creepier lamo But Sylvain likes it anyways

DIMITRI/RODRIGUE/SYLVAIN PARALOGUE

This one is easy since all 3 are leveled up. I want to do other ones, but I may wait to save some cash lol.

They're up north, so Sreng? Yep.

So they're preparing for a Sreng raid.

So a hostage that grew up in Faerghus is now leading the raid. And Margrave Gautier treated him well even though he felt bitter about Sreng killing his wife. So Miklain's mother?

And now the Sreng hostage is using Fodlan knowledge against them.

Haha, Sylvain was going off about being lazy forgetting his dad was right there lol.

It's cool seeing papa Gautier and Rodrigue together.

The Sreng commander really came across like a dick. Rubbing in Miklain's death, not caring about all the men he got killed.

So did Claude do this in AG too? Incite Sreng? They guess Cornelia and someone from Adrestia too, which could be the case in AG.

Gautier takes credit for the fall. Sylvain got through to the guy apparently.

Dimitri's just happy they share a language now. He would know how important that is since he learned the language of Duscur.

I'm glad they fight over land. It's way more interesting and realistic than whatever the hell they did with Almyra.

Aww, Sylvain is dedicated to reaching peace with Sreng. Of course his dad is harder edged because they killed his wife.

Sylvain being so bent on peace and diplomacy just makes the people who claim he makes sense in CF make even less sense.

I had Shez believe in Sylvain, because AG!Shez is nice Shez.

Sylvain and Dimitri both hate resorting to violence and using warfare first. Both want to avoid it at all cost. I like the future of these two both being important in Faerghus.

Oh, cool, talk between Rodrigue and Matthais. I love the little stories we get of all of them. They were trouble makers lamo. They snuck out the night of the festivities.

Lambert wanted peace with Sreng and Duscur. Dimitri's half-way there, and he and Sylvain are working on the other half.

Gautier now agrees with Sylvain, Lambert, and Dimitri and a pathway to peace.

Aww, Rodrigue advised that he apologize to Sylvain, and he's going too.

Oh, I got the lance of ruin! Cool. Sylvain has his weapon now.

FINAL BATTLE

Not Dimitri being more understanding of the Empire nobles who''ll follow any leader that promises them more land than Edelgard does him and the other Blue Lions

He's thinking from the other's perspective, how it looks to them, not what it actually is - Claude and Edelgard could never

Shez is like, no need to feel guilty, hell yes

Felix is worried about Dimitri, in his very Felix way, meanwhile Dedue is like "we trust you"

I love so much that the importance of his friends' support is stressed so much more in AG.

Oh, I get Constance and Linhardt this battle. Cool.

Felix got lectured by Rodrigue lamo, he wanted to break ranks to chase after Monica

Lamo, Manuela's defeat quote is that she won't die single. Ngl, glad she just retreated.

It's really something that the Blue Lions show way more sympathy towards their enemy than the other routes do. They're the only ones that feel guilty for "invading." When the others are invading.

Glad they're bringing up that if they don't do this, Adrestia will not stop until Faerghus is destroyed.

Rodrigue has such a nice voice.

Felix got angry with Rodrigue when he said all the blame for invading will fall on Dimitri, but then Rodrigue said it's up to Felix to support him through it. This really is Dimilix the route, lamo.

Felix is like, duh.

Why is Shez talking to Rodrigue while it's late. I'm getting flashbacks. He died last time this happened.

They're both worried about Dimitri. And it's cannon that Dimitri falls asleep at his desk. Sooo much fanart of that lol.

Apparently Lambert did the same. Like father, like son.

Lambert had a shorter temper than Dimitri, but are very similar. Unlike Rodrigue and Felix. I get to disagree with Rodrigue there, so I will. Because I think they're more alike than they both think.

Ok guys, we finally got it. Why Felix is miserable outside of AM. He can't live without a great purpose pushing him forward. And in SS, VW, and CF he finds no great purpose, unlike in AM where working with Dimitri towards his version of the future does work.

When Lambert died, Rodrigue struggled to find another reason for being. So he devoted himself to his promise to Lambert, to make sure he sets his won back on his proper path is he loses his way.

Shez feels like Dimitri's been helping her, but she's helping Dimitri too. Like what Rodrigue is doing.

Rodrigue says he's only Dimitri's retainer, that's so false. But he says Shez is in a unique spot since she's a friend first, then he's her leader. Which makes me happy.

More teasing about Shez's origins.

Rodrigue says though that Shez's background or powers aren't what's important, it's about who Shez is as a person. I love so much how the Blue Lions keep repeating this idea, that it's not Byleth's or Shez's power. It's their worth as a person that matters.

Arval just called Rodrigue a wonderful human being. Based.

“You did it to me, though!” Felix bit back, pulling the quokka back onto his lap and restraining himself from tickling the older.

Hyunjin grabbed a marker and sat down in front of Hannie’s legs, uncapping it and properly adjusting the position.

Jisung was laying back up, so he wasn’t able to see Hyunjin’s writing.

Hyune slowly began to write in fluid, artistic strokes. In Hannie’s case, however, it tickled. A lot.

He jolted and squeaked loudly, kicking a bit out of instinct. Hyunjin nonchalantly grabbed his legs and pinned them down.

Hannie let out tiny giggles at the feeling of the marker. He didn’t understand the others’ reactions to it. It didn’t tickle that much…

He guessed his dish correctly, not even stuttering once. It was too easy.

But the clean up wasn’t. Hyunjin immediately tacked the boy’s legs down and scrubbed the cloth over one foot, scribbling torturously onto the other foot.

Jisung squealed in surprise, pushing out just to get held down by Felix, who began to tickle at his armpits lightly.

“HAHA-HEY! HYUHUHUNJIN WHAHATS THIS?!” Jisung screeched out, the tickles on his feet becoming unbearably tingly.

“I’m getting my revenge, and Hyune’s helping!” Felix yelled back, and Hannie let out a loud bout of laughter before he desperately screamed.

That was the cue to let up, but not without one more tickle to the arch of his foot, which Jisung didn’t appreciate.

Hyunjin nervously helped the boy up, dread poooling at the bottom of his stomach.

⤐ @dmnksrt - One of my irl best friends, you guys can thank her for so much, because she is my number 1 fan and keeps cheering me on. Without her, I wouldn't have written this much. She's a victim of accidentally being converted into a kpop fan, purely because I was also dragged into the fandom. Even though she stans another group and man (Suga), we still ramble to each other for hours easily. Once she gathers the courage to post her own fanfics, you can be sure I'll be there to support her immediately. Her brain is wonderful, just like her, I wouldn't hesitate to commit arson for her sake. Her tag is 'my Darling', no, we aren't dating, in case any of Nat's anons come here asking that.

⤐ @nerenbe - Well well well, if it isn't my menace herself. This lil gremlin is the sole reason I am in this fandom altogether, since she just kept singing 'Star lost' while we were in the Christmas market. ⤐ @michelle4eve - A shy follower of mine who gathered enough courage to speak to me, and would you look at that, we speak more regularly now :) She's very sweet, which is why I just call her my Sunshine.

⤐ @jinnie-ret - Jinnie-ret, Jinnie-ret, the person who started it all. She was the first skz writer who noticed me and decided to raid my blog, quite literally. She recommended my work on her blog and I got a big influx of people, making me breach the 100 followers threshold. I still can't believe she'd followed me back, when I've been her silent follower for months by that point. While we don't speak a lot, as she is busy, I know she's very welcoming and kind (also my brit mum, because she decided to adopt me lmao).

⤐ @kailee08 - Where do I even start, gods. She got to know me through Jinnie-ret, but decided to also basically adopt my introvert, anxious self on the spot (which is why one of her tags is 'my mum'). I love our little talks, no matter how silly they are. And while she (and everyone else) insists I am cute, I'll forever deny it, like the black cat I am. Without her, I don't know if I would still be here. Ah, I could write so much more, but I'll spare you the details, haha.

⤐ @atinyniki - Niki, my precious little pocket pookie who just loves to pester me and also shower me in love, no matter how hard I keep pushing it away (this is the norm for me and my friends). She's absolutely sweet and so strong, I look up to her in that sense. We easily start gushing about ATEEZ or my husky puppies for a good while xD I am so happy she wrote to me, even if she keeps insisting I am cute, falsely.

⤐ @writingforstraykids - Nat, my talented menace! I love her art, oh my god, I cannot wait for her to draw more, even if that is a year later or more. And her soft thoughts? Hell yes! She's the one who usually gets to see my own random thoughts about the boys (hence our collab), because she's my mootie and they get VIP services :) I am forever afraid she's gonna do what my menace does and send me pics of the boys... I would straight up die on the spot.

⤐ @cheesemonky - Leisel! While we don't talk a lot (timezone differences and my depressed, anxious self), she's cute and so supportive. I just know if we would talk more, our chat would be filled with rambles and thoughts about TXT, haha.

⤐ @galaxycatdrawz - A very active moot of Nat, so I do see him interact with her a lot. -------------------------------------------------------When stray kids were invited to do the famous lie detector test, Hyunjin thought it would be fun and interesting. He definitely didn't think it would end like it did.

"And lastly we have a question for our Hyunjin! Do you actually hate it when we give you physical touch?" Chan read up the last question from the little cards he had.

Hyunjin looked confused. "I mean, what kind of physical touch?"

"Just like, when we hug you I guess." Chan shrugged.

"Or I hold your hand randomly." Felix suggested.

"Or when I just stick to you~" Changbin joined in.

"Or when I hold you down and tickle you." Lee know shrugged, trying to bite back a smirk.

Hyunjin froze, he was hoping somone else will jump in now. He almost sighed in relief when Han opened his mouth, until-

"Wait that one is actually interesting."

Oh good god.

"Uhm... which one?" please not minho's. Please not minho's. Please not minh-

"Minho hyung's."

The members all looked at Hyunjin in anticipation, and so he had no choice but to answer the question...

"I- uhm... no, i- I hate it." Hyunjin crossed his arms protectively, trying to cheat the lie detector by attempting to trick his brain. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it.

"Lie." The guy checking his results (no idea what to call him.) Yelled out.

All the members were clapping and cooing excitedly. Hyunjin looked down shyly, hiding his face in his hands. When he felt brave enough, Hyunjin took one look at Lee know and then looked away again when he found the older one smirking at him.

The members finished off the interview by saying their goodbyes getting up and getting ready to leave. Hyunjin was still extremely embarrassed, now not only his memebrs would know, but so would the entire world in just a few hours! It didn't really help when Han came up to him.

With a laugh, the younger boy said. “You’ll never live this down.”

Hyunjin growled something back at him and left with the rest of the members, making sure to sit as far away from the members (especially lee know) as he could when they entered the van driving them home.

Lee know noticed how hard Hyunjin was trying to avoid him, but only smiled at the effort, knowing he'll find the right time to torture Hyunjin with this new found information.

As the boys got back to the dorm Hyunjin was the first to leave the van, and the first to go into the dorm. He went to his room and closed the door, laying down on his bed, face burried in his pillows. The other members went to shower, eat, or just straight up crashed on their beds.

After a while of being alone in his room, Hyunjin heard a knock on the door. 'Here we go...' He thought.

"Yah, it's me. Open up!"

Of course it had to be Lee know. "What do you want?"

"Just let me in!"

Hyunjin rolled his eyes. "The door is open."

Lee know threw the door open and walked over to Hyunjin's bed. He saw the boy sitting with his face burried in the pillows and sat right next to him on the bed.

"Oh come on, don't be so dramatic."

"I'm not!" Hyunjin complained.

"Oh of course you're not, my bad." Lee know teased, frowning when Hyunjin didn't even chuckle. "Hyunjin."

No answer.

"Hyunjin..."

Nothing.

"Hyun."

Crickets.

"HYUNJIN!" Lee know yelled with a poke to the younger boy's side.

A flinch.

"Ah, so you are alive after all. I was really starting to doubt that." Hyunjin kept throwing random pokes while speaking.

"H-hey! Sthahap..." Hyunjin broke into giggles.

"Are you mad?" Lee know questioned.

"I dohohont knhohow..." And it was true. Hyunjin was still trying to figure that out for himself.

"You don't know? Maybe I should help you understand what happened today better. See..." Lee know flipped Hyunjin around so that he lays on his back, and then brought his arms up next to his head. Telling him to keep them up only using his eyes. Lee know then lifted Hyunjin's shirt a bit, tracing slow circles around his belly button, the circles getting smaller and smaller. "By telling us how you feel today... now we all know that you like it, and we won't be afraid to do it to you even more than we already do~"

Hyunjin blushed. That did sound awsome, and also extremely terrifying. "But it's not just you guys! It's also stays... and everyone else, they will think it's so weird... and so do you guys..."

Lee know rolled his eyes. "Will you stop that? I can promise you nobody thinks its weird. Its adorable." He shrugged, starting on his circles again after hearing what Hyunjin had to say, causing the younger to jumped and almost bring his hands down.

"Dohohont- sthahap lyhihing!" Hyunjin fought himself to keep his hands up.

"I'm not lying! And also, you know you're happy it's out!"

It was as if Lee know could read his mind. "Ihihm nohohot!"

"Are too~" Lee know dipped his finger into Hyunjin's belly button, causing the other to squeal and put his hands over Lee know's as an instinct.

Lee know glared at him. "You being those arms down one more time, see what happens."

Hyunjin was laughing too hard to even answer, as Lee know was now kneading his sides.

"STAHAHAP!" Or don't Hyunjin begged.

"I'll stop when you admit you're happy your secret is out."

"I DOHOHONT LIHEHE" more like, 'I don't want you to stop.'

Lee know chuckled. "Your choice." He started going around Hyunjin's neck and ears lightly, causing cute hiccups and giggles from the younger boy.

"I caahhant!"

"Oh have some faith in yourself. You can do anything." Lee know encouraged as he moved down to Hyunjin's hips, getting bored of playing nice.

"G- GAHAHAHAHAHAH! NOOOOOOHOHOHO" Hyunjin brought his arms down, shrieking in surprise when Lee know immediately brought them up again quickly, then repositioned himself so that he was now sitting on Hyunjin's wrists.

"IHIHIM GOHOHONA DIHIHIEEEEE-"

“come on, quit being stubborn and admit it!” Lee know laughed along with him.

Hyunjin let out a particularly cute squeal when Lee know dug into his armpits. "NAHAHAHAHA"

"You're so adorable!" Lee know grinned.

Hyunjin turned as red a tomato. "THHIHIHIS IS WEHIHRD"

"aww, you're blushing!" Lee know giggled, then turned serious. "This is not weird. I'm telling you Hyunjin, we all think it's adorable."

"YOUHU- LIAR!" Hyunjin accused.

Lee know rolled his eyes again. "Just listen to me for a second, but prepare yourself because it's gonna be sappy. We all love you anyways Hyunjin, and we couldn't find this weird even if we tried. The same thing about our fan's and everyone else you're worried about. This really isn't such a big deal."

"HAHAHAHAHAHAH" Was Hyunjin's answer.

“can you stop laughing? i’m trying to talk to you. how rude!” Lee know scolded, shaking his hands into Hyunjin' ribs.

"IHIHIM SOHOHORRY!!!" The boy was in hysterics.

"That's not what u want to hear~" The older taunted.

"F-FINE! IHIHIM HAHAHPPY!"

"Really? So glad to hear that! Why are you happy?" Lee know brought one hand all the way down to Hyunjin's thigh, the other managing to stay on his ribs. All the while still sitting behind Hyunjin' head.

"IHIHM HAHAPPY MYHYHY SECRET IHIHS OUHUT!"

Lee know stopped his torture and moved up to awkwardly pet Hyunjin's hair. "Are you okay?"

Hyunjin looked away. "More than okay..."

Lee know smiled, pulling out his phone to look at when ot kept vibrating with notifications. His smile only widened as he kept scrolling on his phone.

"What?" Hyunjin asked curiositly.

Lee know turned the phone down to where Hyunjin was still laying and kept scrolling down. "The video just came out, look at the comments."

'Best part of the video is Hyunjin liking physical touch. He's so 😫'

'HYUNJIN IS SO CUTE OMG'

'just when you think Hyunjin couldn't get any more adorable...'

'The glances between Lee know and Hyunjin, I just know Feret boy got wrecked when they got home 😭💚'

The comments just kept going, Hyunjin smile turned into a grin as he kept reading through them. When he was finally done he turned the phone back to Lee know. "Maybe it is okay."

"Of course it is." Lee know huffed and ruffled Hyunjin's hair affectionately.

Just then, the door opened up to reveal all the other members, who looked as shocked as Lee know and Hyunjin.

"Felix you were supposed to hold the door closed!" Seungmin scolded.

"It wasn't me! Jeongin slipped!" Felix pointed at I.N, who growled.

"Oh right. Blame the youngest! So fair!"

As they all continued to argue, Hyunjin cleared his throat loudly, making them all turn around to him. "Right... what are you all doing here?"

"We came to see if you were okay because you were quiet on the rode home, but then we heard you laughing and we heard Lee know hyung's voice. So we just decided to wait so we can also come be with you." Felix explained as he ran up to hug Hyunjin. The other members following closely, pulling the two boy's into a group hug on the bed.

"You know we don't think it's weird at all, right?" Chan made sure.

"Yeah... thank you." Hyunjin nodded.

"Of course. It's really not a big deal, okay?" Changbin nodded back.

"Yeah I see that now." Hyunjin replied, melting to the feeling of the group hug.

"Should we stay like that-" felix started.

"No." Lee know cut him off, leaving the hug.

"Get back in there." Han commanded. "You love physical touch just as much as Hyunjin does."

"HANNIE!" talk about betrayal.

All heads slowly turned to look at Lee know.

"Ohhh... you guys didn't know? Lee know lovesss tickles..."

Hyunjin raised his eyebrows at Lee know. " I did wonder why you brought it up in the first place..."

Lee know crossed his arms, deciding to just accept his fate.

"Say Hyunjin... how would you feel about some revenge?" Chan questioned.

"Why I would love that!" Hyunjin answered excitedly.

Oh boy, fav writers and fics.. Thats a tough one since I don't often branch out of specific fandoms ( i am working on it!)

I read a lot of kingdom works. A lot of them. I have probably read every single posted kingdom smut piece there is. I started writing them bcs there wasn't enough. A lot of cravity as well, and some ateez too. Onewe and Oneus as well. But they aren't as popular so there aren't nearly as many fics as id like. Gotta write em i guess haha

But here is me shamelessly promoting my friends and mutuals.

Intenselysalmon on Ao3 is good. They're a friend of mine who made me go batshit insane over Arthur.

As an idol, you have a very busy schedule. From recording to dance practice to interviews to traveling and sometimes the overall pressure from fans and even yourself, it can be stressful.

You and your group finally have some time to yourselves when you get a text.

“Hey, let’s meet at our spot.”

You get up from your bed, grab you jacket, bag and phone and head out of your room. You see a couple of your band mates in the kitchen at the table.

“I’m heading out, do you guys need or want anything,” you ask them

“Can you bring back some chicken for dinner? I’ve been craving it,” Yongji, your band mate and best friend says

“Sure! Amelie, would you like anything,” you ask

“I’m cool with chicken too,” she says

“Okay! I’ll let you know when I’m on my way back,” you say

“Have fun!,” they say in unison

You and Dabi started dating a five months ago and your group, Flora, debuted 3 months ago. Company policy is that you’re not allowed to date for the first 3 years of group activity and if you get caught, you’ll be put on probation.

You decided to keep it a secret because you JUST started dating and you didn’t want to let him go. Yes, he is rougher around the edges than other guys, but he could be very sweet when he wanted to be. He also had a certain charisma that you just couldn’t ignore. An aura that you just couldn’t get passed.

Any time you have a moment with him, you cherish it always since they can be few and far in between. You both try to call or text as much as possible since you don’t see each other much.

You made it to the meeting place first and took in the view of Seoul. Everything seemed so small from where you were. There was no stress of school, no worrying about your vocals or dance moves. It felt like you were separate from everything.

A pair of hands cover your eyes.

“Guess who,” the husky, low voice says

“Hmmm let me think…Felix from Stray Kids,” you say teasing

“Haha very funny,” he says

“I was only kidding Touya,” you say, playfully pushing him

You’re the only person he lets call him that.

He cups your face in his hands and kisses you deeply. You wrap you arms around his neck and he pulls you in closer.

He pulls away and both of your breaths are heavy.

“I missed you…so much,” he says

You both catch your breath and he lays a blanket out for both of you to sit/lay on. He brought some of your favorite snacks and some drinks and organized them on the blanket.

“I figured we could have a little picnic before you need to get back. I know they’re pretty strict with curfew,” he says

“Touya,” you say feeling touched

“We don’t get to see each other much and as proud of you as I am, I just want to make every time I see you special. You deserve that much at least,” he says looking out into the distance instead of really looking at you

“Baby, look at me,” you say

He turns his head and you pull him in by his chin and place a soft kiss on his lips.

“What was that for,” he says with a smirk on his lips

“Just to say thank you for always making me feel special,” you say and kiss him again

“It’s so weird no to see you as much after school as I used to. How’s Yongji by the way,” he says

“She’s good, still her bubbly and outgoing self. She helps me get through the struggles of this whole lifestyle. It’s nice to have someone I grew up with go through this with me,” you say

“That’s good. What about the other members,” he asks

“They’re good too. I’m surprise you care so much,” you say jokingly

“Hey, I care because it’s you. I care about you and how you’re doing and how you’re being treated. You’re…the most precious thing to me,” he says honestly

You rest your head on his shoulder and just look out over the city. He places a hand to your cheek and caresses it.

You put your hand on his and caress the back of his hand with your thumb.

He places a kiss on your forehead.

“Do you wanna eat some of the snacks now,” he asks

“Sure,” you say smiling

You spent the next couple of hours talking about classes and the shows you’ve been on and anything else that may come to mind.

“What do you wanna do next? I was thinking we could go to the park,” he says

“I would love to, but I don’t know if that’ll be safe,” you say

“C’mon, isn’t that the best part of being in a secret relationship, the risk of getting caught,” he says intriguingly

“Dabi…I don’t know,” you say honestly

“Y/N, I promise you’ll be safe. We’re gonna be in a spot that no one goes to, it’ll be fine,” he says reassuring you

“O-okay,” you say finally giving in

The whole time you’re on the way to the park, you can feel your nerves taking over. You worry about if someone’s watching you or if someone could be watching, but you’re also thinking about the thrill of sneaking around with the boy you love.

It reminds of Romeo and Juliet, of course without the problematic age difference and the unaliving. Two people from now different worlds, with different lives, trying to do what they can to make their love work.

Dabi holds out his hand as you both come to a brick wall with shrubbery covering it.

“C’mon my little bundle of nerves,” he says

“How did you-”

“Anyone could feel them radiating off of you from miles away,” he says

“Let’s go,” he says, hand still outstretched for you

You pensively grab hold, as he guides you through the shrubbery that was hiding a hole in the wall.

“This leads to the farthest part of the park, where no one ever comes and no one can see us,” he starts,“it has a giant field and the flowers are in bloom right now, so I figured it would be the perfect place for a date with you.”

When you finally make it, you’re blown away by how beautiful it is.

“Dabi…this is incredible,” you say with an awe filled voice

“I’m glad you like it,” he says with a proud smile

“If you don’t mind me asking, how did you find this place,” you say curiously

He pauses for a second

“I wanted to get away from home,” he says honestly

“The sun was setting, but I just couldn’t take being there, so I left and I came to the park, but there were so many people. None of them were who I wanted to be with, so I walked until I made it here. I don’t really know if no one’s ever come up here, but I’ve come at all times and no one is ever here when I am so, now this can be our place,” he says

“I’m sorry I haven’t been around much,” you say sadly

“You don’t have to feel guilty or sad nor should you blame yourself. You’re following your dream and I couldn’t be more proud of you,” he says

“Yeah,but..I wish I could be there for you more,” you say honestly

“Y/N, you have a talent and it needs to be shared. You have one of the most amazing voices I’ve ever heard and you shouldn’t be caged like a bird. You need to be free to share that voice. Don’t let my problems stop you from experiencing this chance to the fullest,” he says, leaving you speechless

“Didn’t expect me to say that much, did ya,” he says, causing small giggles to escape both of you

“No I didn’t,” you say through laughs,“but thank you. I’ll continue to make you and our fans proud. I’ll work hard, but I also promise to be there for you whenever I have even a millisecond of free time.”

“I’ll be cheering you on every step of the way,” he says

You look at your phone and it reads 6:30 pm.

“Oh my gosh, I didn’t even realize the time. Ugh I should head back now. Yongji and Amelie are waiting for me,” you say

“I guess this is see you later then,” he says and you notice a sting of sadness in his voice

You kiss his right cheek, then his nose, move to his left cheek and lastly his lips. You place on them a deep and lingering kiss.

“I-I love you, Touya,” you confess honestly

“I’m not good at this kind of stuff, but I l-love y-you too,” he says nervously

“Text me when you get back in. I’ll leave after you,” he says and places a peck on your lips before you go.

As you keep walking, you look back to make sure he’s watching. To make sure he sees you and feels the love you feel for him. To see if he knows just how hard you’re going to work. To let him know that no matter how big you get, you won’t let him go. You will be there for him always.

I hope you enjoyed and as I said in my previous text post, I am so sorry for lack of writing as I have been going through so many changes irl, but I will try to set aside time when I can to write and post. What’s something new that you tried in a fic this year? How did it turn out and would you do it again?

Something new I tried this year was non-linear narrative (in my minchan divorce fic), I've always loved non linear narratives since its an interesting way to tell a story. I think so far its turning out well! although it is based on a story so that did help make it easier. Either way, I would absolutely love to write more non linear narratives if I come up with an idea that it'll work best with

10. What fic made you feel the happiest to work on?

Honestly? I don't know! Out of the ones posted this year, I think maybe the superchan fic might have been my happiest to work on. I do know working on you are strange always makes me pretty happy as well (when i'm not hit with writer's block)

15. Rec a fic you wrote or posted in 2023

I have only posted 4 fics this year and I know you have read 2 of them, so I'll just rec the other two: chansung fic (which is angsty and about commitment issues and complex feelings regarding relationships but i enjoyed writing) and this minchan fic (which is a bob's burgers au and just overall a silly and fun time)

18. What was the hardest fic to title?

without a doubt it was my spidey minlix fic, I just didn't know what to call it even when I had the first chapter completed already which is unusual for me because by the time ive written that much I have title ideas already. I'm not sure if you read the author's note but i did almost title it "spider-boy (king of thieves)" which is a taylor swift lyric because it fits far too perfectly but i decided to search it on ao3 and saw that a lot of the fics using that as a title were spider-man aus which made me scrap the idea so fast. I ended up scrolling through Black Cat and Spider-Man panels + looking up Black Cat quotes for inspiration and decided that i really liked the line ""You are strange, my love. I guess that's why I find you so irresistible." and shortened it because I thought the quote would be such a fitting line for minlix considering they are both strange (affectionate) <3

19. Share your favorite opening line

if I keep it to fics I posted this year, I think my favorite would be from my chansung fic: At a young age, Jisung learns just how easy it is to pack up your life and leave it all behind.

I feel like it fully captures the main vibe of the fic

Also, here's one for fics I've written this year and not posted. I'm cheating here by giving several lines but here's the opening for my jilix songwriting fic because I really like the opening paragraph:

The first time Jisung meets Felix, he’s struck by how gentle and kind he is. He’s mesmerized by his voice, like everyone else is; the deep, smooth tone and accent. The clumsy way he stumbles over his Korean in a way that makes it obvious he’s still learning. And he’s especially mesmerized when he starts to show off his vocal abilities, the range he’s capable of. It’s something else entirely. Perhaps, more importantly, he’s mesmerized by his bright grin despite how prickly Jisung is towards him, which isn’t necessarily anything personal, he’s prickly towards everyone. Unlike the others though, Felix brushes it off and continues to ask questions like he doesn’t genuinely mind how closed off Jisung is; he's never annoyed or scared of him. All while offering him bright smiles each time they interact. And it’s a beautiful smile.

21. Share your favorite piece of dialogue

I can't think of any off the top of my head. I do think a lot of my favorite dialogue I've written is from you are strange, especially the minho and felix conversations when they're bantering in their respective alter egos, it's always so fun for me to write. Their dialogue in their civilian life is very good to me too, but I don't think I can choose a favorite. I also remember enjoying the group discussion from chapter one when they're discussing Spider-Man since it was so fun to write

26. If you had to choose one, what was THE most satisfying writing moment of your year?

I don't think I have any specific satisfying writing moment, but I guess seeing my word count on ao3 go up so much just within the year was pretty satisfying to me especially since like i mentioned i only posted 4 new fics

30. What’s something that you want to write in 2024?

I'm not gonna lie, my goal is just to finish all of my wips. But I do want to write the batman!chan fic thats been brewing, I havent started since I know it'll become a monster of a fic and I'm trying to prioritize finishing my current superhero aus before starting a new one lol. which reminds me, I have Thoughts on other superchan side stories, other than the felix one so thats also on the list, so far nobody has pointed out the Minho (or Hyunjin) name drops in chapter one of superchan which goes along with my thoughts regarding the au. Another thing I want to write is that seunglix christmas fic I mentioned before, I'm thinking of writing it out in advance for next december

Also, not going to lie, all the descendants talk makes me want to dabble into fic for it but im not sure yet. We shall see!

You'd think a book that is essentially an Incredibles AU would be lighthearted, right? You wouldn't think you'd practically be sobbing by the end? Haha! You thought wrong!

Wranglestone by Darren Charlton - 4.25/5 stars

I initially rated this 4.25 stars but honestly I might bump it up to 4.5. It's a zombie story but it was really well done, and I ordered the second book in the series the minute I finished this one.

The Falcon and the Foe by AJ Truman - 3.75/5 stars

Felix Silver, Teaspoons, & Witches by Harry Cook - DNF

This one was too Middle Grade for me.

Honey Girl by Morgan Rogers - 3.5/5 stars

So I won my local indie bookstore's trivia in March and the first place prize was a bunch of books that I never would have picked up on my own, including this one. I bumped it to the front of my TBR pile because I thought it would make a good comp for the manuscript I'm editing - it's about a woman who meets and drunkenly marries a stranger in Vegas, then falls in love with her afterwards. The book is really not a romance though, and is actually about burnout. I might have rated it higher if it didn't sell itself as a romance.

All the Better Part of Me by Molly Ringle - 4.25/5 stars

The Kingdoms by Natasha Pulley - 5/5 stars

"What if France won the Napoleonic Wars because of time travelers" shouldn't have shattered me the way this book did, but of course it's a Natasha Pulley novel so it absolutely did. There isn't a single one of her books that don't live in my mind rent free for apparently the rest of time after I read them, but man. I'm not sure if this one hurt as much as The Lost Future of Pepperharrow, but it's pretty close. Missouri Kite is the most Gay Little Man™. And Joe, poor Joe. The PINING. The YEARNING. When the reveal happens, I had to go back and read prior sections of the book and good god do they hit different. Different and SADDER. AKDJF;AKDJFKDAFJ;D JUST PLEASE READ IT PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

A Destiny of Dragons by TJ Klune - DNF

Not only did I DNF this, I removed the rest of the series from my TBR pile and will be offloading them at my local indie bookstore's next book buy-back. I think the worst part of this one was that he dedicated it to his eighth grade English teacher, who apparently told him his stories would never amount to anything. And like. What an awful thing for a teacher to tell a kid (sidebar, my eighth grade English teacher is one of the reasons I started to really take writing seriously, she was amazingly supportive - thank you, Mrs. Brzezinski!). But reading this series is like...you know, she might have had a point. I KID I KID WE ALL KNOW KLUNE ACTUALLY CAN WRITE but holy shit again, this series is so bad. The writing was a little better than The Lightning-Struck Heart but the characters are so fucking annoying. The term Mary Sue gets thrown around a lot and I'm generally not a fan of its application (since usually it's used to tear down teenage girls) but Sam of Wilds is such a fucking Mary Sue (or Gary Stu, I guess, but down with the gender binary, let's just have one word). Everyone wants to have sex with him and while it may have been sort of funny at first (it wasn't), by book 2, the joke has worn extremely thin. Also there's a prophecy about him, because of course there is. And he's the most powerful wizard ever. And yeah, I've read a lot of books where there's a prophecy about the MC and they're the Most Powerful Magic Person Ever, but they're usually not this annoying.

Chainbreaker by Tara Sim - 5/5 stars

This is book 2 of a really interesting and original fantasy/steampunk series. I really enjoyed the first one but this one was even better. It takes place in a world where time running correctly is controlled by clock towers. The main character is a clock mechanic (obviously an important job) who falls in love with the clock spirit of the town of Enfield (delightful, since my wife is from Enfield and it's not a place you often see mentioned in fiction). This book raises the stakes of the first one and takes place largely in India. Highly recommend.

Hummingbird Heartbreak by Max Walker - 2.75/5 stars

I found Dusty's reaction to the reveal of Brandon's past to be over-the-top and unreasonable (like, unreasonable within the context of the story - obviously characters can react unreasonably to things, but it still needs to make sense for them!). I probably would have rated this 3 stars if not for that, because it's a sweet enough love story.

The World We Make by NJ Jemisin - 2.5/5 stars

NK Jemisin, please do not read this. Jemisin has been open about how difficult this book was to write, and about the fact that she couldn't handle the trilogy she'd planned and took it down to a duology, and…unfortunately, it shows. I loved the first book but this one was a disappointing finale. The pacing was uneven and the character development stalled. Plot threads were introduced and either vanished (Bronca's new girlfriend) or were resolved in a way that felt unearned (the mayoral race, Manny's true identity, honestly the whole big conflict). Aislyn was an interesting character who ultimately felt underutilized. I actually, physically cringed at a couple points during this book—the coda was really just one long cringe, and the other moment was when Brooklyn calls...Beyonce. Who is an old friend. But then Beyonce is never brought up again and I couldn't tell you what the purpose of her inclusion in the book was. I'm sure some people love that kind of stuff but I can't stand it.

I did really love the other cities though! If Jemisin ever returned to this universe, I'd read a book about Faiyum in a heartbeat. His snark and his gay little crocodile earring were chef's kiss.

Jemisin is a fabulous writer and all my issues with this book feel like the result of an author forcing herself to write something she wasn't feeling and just wanted to be done with. Disappointing all the same since I had really been looking forward to this one.

The Sugared Game by KJ Charles - 5/5 stars

It is not possible to go wrong with an AJ Charles book and this one is no exception. I love Kim and Will so much, and I really really hope the third book builds on the trust they established in this one.

Sixteen Souls by Rose Talbot - 3.75/5 stars

I liked this book but I did find myself, at the climax, wondering why on earth living people would sacrifice themselves to save ghosts from...being more dead? Like. They're...already dead.

“I’m an idol.”

Felix’s hands were sweating, he finally told you after all this time. He finally revealed that big secret. THE SECRET OF ALL SECRETS. You were just staring at him.

“Okay haha, now actually tell me.” You said, YOU DIDN’T BELIEVE HIM?

“Y/n I’m telling the truth.” Felix led you to a bench, how did you not believe him? I mean okay if he was in your shoes, he probably wouldn’t either. He sat you both down and took out his phone.

Felix thought to himself he could just tell you he was a producer; it wouldn’t technically be lying. But when he felt your head lean on his shoulder to look at his phone, he knew he had to tell you. He opened his google, now a little embarrassed that his homescreen was you on FaceTime. You let out a small hum acknowledging it. He typed up Stray Kids and clicked the K-Profiles page.

“Scroll.” He handed you his phone and lowered his mask to his chin. He watched you skeptically take his phone and start scrolling. Slowly you sat up and off him. Felix took note of how your face changed as you scrolled, he was guessing it started to click as it went down the line. Then you landed on his K-Profile.

“Holy shit.” You zoomed in on his face and lifted his phone by his face, “Lee Felix…”

“And Felix.” He pointed to himself, “and BinsHusband.”

You sat there in awe looking at him, he was shocked he wasn’t getting yelled at.

“You aren’t mad?” Felix finally gained the courage to break the silence, to his absolute shock you started giggling, then snorting due to laughing so hard.

“No why would I be mad at you?” You asked.

“You’re not freaked out?” He asked, cautiously taking your hand.

“No Felix, well, a little. But it’s fine.” You squeezed his hand and smiled up at him. He felt so relieved that you didn’t despise him.

“You had your reasons for not telling me, everything you said really makes sense now. How I make you feel normal, how you were thankful we met casually, how you were happy to have a friend who was normal. Why would I get mad at you for wanting to keep that feeling a little longer?” You were looking out towards the river. Felix thought you were the most beautiful person he has ever seen in his life. You continued to talk, “if I was in your position, I would’ve done the same thing. One thing I just don’t understand is like, why you’d yaknow. Tell me you love me and all that.”

Felix’s brows furrowed, “because I do. I really love you.”

You had turned to him, your eyes read something that he couldn’t figure out no matter how hard he tried to decipher. He decided to choose his next words carefully and then spoke slowly.

“Y/n I love you; you love me for me, right? Not cause I’m an idol?” You nodded and he continued, “and I love you for you. Because you’re Y/n. You’re one of the weirdest people I have ever met, and I think that is so attractive. I think you’re funny, and we grew up on the same things, we have the same hobbies. Y/n I love you and now you’re right in front of me and I have never been so happy.”

He saw your eyes flicker from his eyes to his lips. He wasted no time softly lowering your mask.

“May I?” He placed his hand on your cheek, starting to lean in.

“…Yes…” You breathed.

He kissed you, just like how he had been thinking about for months, when he pulled away, he saw how your eyes practically were in the shape of hearts.

“Again.” You said, he smiled and kissed you again, and again, and again.

Haha he’s so stupid (affectionate). I honestly think of him as a pathetic little kitten sitting his butt out on the sidewalk in the middle of the pouring rain that is actively being picked up by Adrien and wrung in a towel and tossed a saucer of boiling hot milk when it comes to his social skills. Ok, dumbass speedrun 3, 2, 1, go!!

He likes oranges but not really the color orange.

Also, not a fanatic but he thinks sports cars look cool.

A naturally good swimmer. When around other people, he’ll often dive under the surface and swim around to where he wants to go that way to avoid disturbing anyone.

His kind of humor is watching Jaws for a night time pool party and diving under the water to pinch people’s ankles.

Honestly a big softie for his mother and the sweet blonde women in his life generally. Yes, this includes Rose.

He’s incredibly good with young children; no one knows how or why he attained the knowledge he has.

Then they hit the age of three and he’s trying to teach them tax evasion. No.

Zero genuine social skills. He has them when he’s being fake and then he tries to do it for real and they go poof.

He’s just that good at magic huh.

Also has a deeply engrained fear of trusting people with knowledge of his interests thanks to trauma from his broken relationship with his father :)

You just have to understand that this man is a pathetic, sopping-wet-cat of a man. That’s, like, the message here.

What’s something new that you tried in a fic this year? How did it turn out and would you do it again?

Yes there are a few things I'm doing newly! I wrote an actors fic for the first time, I wrote two fics focusing on dancing, and I liked that a lot! I also am writing a pirates fic right now, with seungin as a pairing which I haven't done yet in a full fic, and idk if I will write them again any time soon, but maybe yes! Who knows!

2. How many fics did you work on this year? (They don’t have to be finished or published!)

I published 15 fics this year, update my drabble collection, and I am writing another one right now! I also worked on a mermaid x alien fic but that didn't really work out the way I wanted to I abandoned that djnfkfdnhkj

3. What’s something you learned about yourself as a writer?

Tough question! I guess I learned even more that I like writing new things! I learned more to not really care about engagement as long as I'm having fun writing, and to really cherish people who read and comment on my works!!!

10. What fic made you feel the happiest to work on?

I loved working on everything, but I guess the happiest I was working on Can't you feel how much I love you? Because I had already planned that I'd write this one (it's a sort of part 2) and I loved exploring Jeongin and Felix as demigods, and of course I could really let everything out and self-project on ace Jeongin jdhfngkjfnh

11. What fic was the most satisfying to finish writing?

The most satisfying to finish I guess was Break a leg, not your heart because it was my longest work this year (42k)!

18. What was the hardest fic to title?

Titles are my nemesis in general and I don't really remember which ones I struggled with... Maybe A thread that joins together? It's a soulmate fic so the title does reflect that, but it was difficult to come up with kjfdnhkfjg

24. What's something that surprised you while you were working on a fic? Did it change the story?

I don't reallllyyy remember anything in particular, only that I meant to write more enemies to lovers-ish in Finding each other's rhythm but the enemies part didn't really work out which was fine (and kind of expected from me tbh haha), and it didn't really change the story, it only made it so that it didn't have to be too long dkjnhk

30. What’s something that you want to write in 2024?

//EP. 2; He’s just like a puppy, How annoying.

//TW; Transphobia; FTM, Bullying(??)

MC POV

Oh wow, for once there’s silence in the halls. Usually it’s bustling with demons and their cruel laughter but not today it seems. Although I think I may be talking a little too soon.-

Felix- “MMMMCCCCCC!! Hey waiiitttt!”

Great. Now I have the lost puppy tailing me. What could possibly go wrong?

Felix- “Hey! MC! Hey hey! Where ya going?? Can I eat lunch with you?? Please please let me! I don’t wanna sit at a table full of unknown demons!”

MC- “groan.. I suppose you can. But just until you’re done settling in and have a group of your own to sit with.”

I pinched the bridge of my nose, he just does not know how to stop talking it seems. Always trying to make conversation with me, can’t he see that I’m busy?

Wow I sound like Lucifer.

Felix- “Waahh! Thank you thank you! MC I love you!”

I turned my head at break neck speed, perplexed at his comment and boldness. As much as it would be a good thing, where was this confidence a week ago when he first arrived?

MC- “That is not possible, we met a week ago.”

Felix- “It’s called ‘Love at first Sight’! Doesn’t that sound amazing??”

MC- “It sounds horrendous and I would hate to be the one on the receiving end of that said ‘love at first sight’.”

Felix- “Ahhh you’re such a killjoy, MC :(“

MC- “Well then I guess we wouldn’t go together.”

Felix- “:0”

MC- “:|”

Felix- “Are you suggesting something?-“

MC- “No.”

It was mean but I had to shut down his suggestion before he can say it fully as he might do something with the idea and get himself hurt in the process.

???- “Well well well, look at who we have here! Little old MC and their new boyfriend!~”

???2- “Snicker”

???3- “Haha, hey MC. Why is he so small?”

MC- “What?”

The newly appeared demons circled us mockingly, throwing in snide and cruel remarks about Felix and his body.

???2- “Why’re you so feminine, Felix? Aren’t you supposed to be a boy?”

???3- “Maybe she’s just confused!~”

Felix stiffened at this remark and looked at the floor, it got to him for some reason. Why did it? Was he hiding something?? He’s tearing up and shaking.. I shouldn’t be standing by and letting this happen.

MC- “Is there a problem with his body? Incubi have the exact same body as him. So it seems as though I fail to recognize the problem at hand right now.”

Felix raised his head and stared up at me through his long lashes and glassy eyes, clearly appreciating my attempt to silence the annoying new arrivals.

???- “Hoh? Is that really all you’re going to say and do? Look at her MC, she’s pathetic! I don’t see why you would rather stick with her than with us in all honesty. She can’t even stick to the gender than she was born with!”

MC- “Felix is new and human at that, so as the human ambassador and representative of the human realm, it is my responsibility and duty to make sure that he feels comfortable here. And I WILL NOT. Tolerate you disrespecting him. I’m front of my face no less!”

???2- “Big talk for someone so small!~”

I scoffed at this, don’t they have anything better to do than bother us? I guess it can’t be helped then.

MC- “Hear me and for my call, Oh great one I summon upon thee! I summon you, Avatar of Greed, Mammon!”

???- “Oh shit! Let’s go!”

A upside down pentagram formed and bursted with a bright golden flash of light before Mammon appeared out of thin air, demon form at the ready.

You might be thinking, ‘Why’d you summon mammon when you can summon any of the other brothers?????!!?!?!?!?’ Well let me tell you why.

Unlike Mammon, Lucifer is busy with paperwork and keeping his brothers in check.

Unlike Mammon, Leviathan would panic and most likely pass out or be angry at the sudden summoning when he could be watching his anime or playing his games.

Unlike Mammon, Satan could be reading a book or tending to a cat and get angry at the sudden summon like Leviathan.

Unlike Mammon, Asmodeus would be with friends or fans or planning parties in his spare time.

Unlike Mammon, Beelzebub could be eating and possibly choke after being summoned so suddenly.

Unlike Mammon, it’s funny to know that you would actually think and try to summon Belphegor the one who killed you with no hesitation a whole year prior.

But unlike his brothers, Mammon is always ready and prepared to be summoned by you as he expects you to. I mean, he’s your first man! Of course you’d think of summoning him out of all of them!

And as much as he expects you to summon him, and despite that he’s greedy and “scum”, Mammon is one of the most powerful demons in Devildom.

Mammon- “Oi! Where’s the-! Huh?”

Mammon looked around in confusion as there was no one around but him, Felix and I. Where was the danger?

Mammon- “Oi MC! Why’d you summon me if there’s no danger?? I could be at the casino right now!”

MC- “And blowing all your grim is what you’d be doing but okay.”

Mammon- “OFBCOC- NO! I would be winning the lottery!”

MC- “Keep telling yourself that.. How are you feeling, Felix?”

I looked back at his shaking self from over my shoulder

Felix- “mumble..”

MC- “What was that?”

I turned my whole body to face him. He didn’t look up but he jumped into my arms sobbing his eyes out into my chest.

Felix- “Thank you MC..! I- I appreciate you standing up for me so much!”

I looked at Mammon, who looked quite jealous of him, and asked him for the time as I awkwardly wrapped my arms around Felix.

Mammon- “It’s 12:13, Why?”

MC- “Ah shit.. Felix come on, we gotta go if we don’t wanna be late.”

He nodded but still refused to let go of me, he’s just like a puppy.. How annoying.

I sighed before picking him up, wrapping his legs around my waist then walking to our next period, that we, fortunately, had together.

Mammon- “WHA- HEY WAIT FOR ME!!”

Yes hello again, I’m sorry for the transphobia as it was a last minute thing. Please don’t call me transphobic as I’m still trying to figure out if I’m trans or not myself and would never try to offend the LGBTQ+ community. I just decided to throw it in last minute as in RMCAU’s the rival is mostly always AFAB and never really AMAB or trans. So I thought I’d try to be original🧍🏻‍♀️

Anyways I don’t know if imma do another take on the RMCAU since this one could be an alternative on it if it does end up going in a different direction since that tends to happen sometimes with me :p
