what are some other good bisexual het romance series?
Honestly, I wasn't quite sure how to answer this! You likely didn't mean anything by it, but "bisexual het" really threw me for a loop 😭 😭 I would refrain from using that phrase in the future!
Anyway, I'm assuming you are looking for something like GSNK ❤️ Since I'm not sure what it is you like about GSNK, or who you are and what you usually read, I'll just recommend a bunch of stuff :p
I worked at a bookshop last year, so I'll start with my usual recommendations on LGBT+ manga/graphic novels (that are officially licensed in English). They're mostly coming-of-age stories. Linked is the instagram post with more recommendations, explanations, & summaries!
Also in this rec are: Manga with characters like Kashima (and relationships like HoriKashi)
I was gonna include a lot more, but this list is already pretty excessive 😅 This is scheduled to post tomorrow evening, but know I finished this at midnight!!!!!!!!!!!! (Happy Valentine's Day!!!)
Main Recommendations
My usual rotation of recommendations from back when I worked at a bookstore
Blue Flag by KAITO
8 volumes. My favourite series!! I have so many thoughts about it. Simplest way to summarize the theme of the series is in the first sentence, "Your best friend... or your lover. You can only save one." (implied: who would you choose?). Love triangle between the main character, Taichi, a shy female classmate, Futaba, and the main character's popular, childhood friend, Toma.
A lot of western fans complain about the ending, but I thought it was very fitting for the series. I might be biased because it's my favourite, and I can't necessarily justify myself without spoiling it >.<;; CW for homophobia & outing as a major conflict in a later volume.
Our Dreams at Dusk by Yuhki Kamatani
4 volumes. Beautiful visual metaphors. Main character comes to terms with being gay & overcoming his internalized-homophobia. CW for attempted suicide & homophobia.
The Prince and the Dressmaker by Jen Wang
1 volume. Focuses on gender identity and presentation!
Skip & Loafer by Misaki Tamamatsu
8 volumes (7 English localizations), ongoing. Has an anime coming out soon! I reread it recently and joined their fan server, but I'm just lurking ^^; I feel like people who enjoy GSNK would also enjoy this series.
Although it isn't explicitly queer unlike the other two recommendations. It's still very charming! I really like the main character and her aunt. Even though her aunt is a supporting character, the chapter that focused on her made me cry a lot. My favourite characters are actually the aunt and the drama club president (a side character... but given his role, it tracks LOL /hj) I remember when I first read it and didn't understand why people would call it WLW representation (I still enjoyed it though!) After my recent reread, I get it now >u< Even if it's not canon, I ship two of the main character's friends together. I'm very curious to other people's interpretations~ My wife doesn't really read the same things I do, so I have to wait to watch the anime with her when it comes out before we can discuss it together.
The Prince and the Dressmaker by Jen Wang
1 volume. Focuses on gender identity and presentation! I picked it up because I liked the cover and I wanted to read more things by Asian American authors. I remember telling my sister it reminded me of Miraculous Ladybug (likely because the main character is a dressmaker)
Manga with Ikemen Girls (like Kashima)
Most, if not all, can be found on mangadex. Not all of them are HoriKashi-esque, but half of them are
The Story of How I Went to a Mixer and There Were No Women There
Only scanlated up to ch. 8 unfortunately 😢 I've started buying the Japanese volumes but my grasp of the language has gone downhill since I graduated lol Pretty much as the title says! Some guy gets invited to goukon by a female classmate, but he and his friends find 3 ikemen when they arrive. Turns out his classmate and her friends work at a crossdressing bar! And they just didn't feel like changing back after work!
Story About How My xx Girlfriend Dotes on Me
Also known as The Androgynous Girlfriend is Doting on the President. A cute short series (with short chapters) about the class president (unnamed until the 2nd "vol") and his super handsome, cool girlfriend, Natsuki. Under her stoic exterior, she's a little spoiled and very forward about her love for the president! I thought this series was really cute! I want more chapters of them!!
Cigarette Kiss / Refrain Kiss by Yorumo (part of the Resonant Blue—Girl's Best Time collection)
2 chapters of a cute GL collection by the artist Yorumo! Kobayashi knows she's cute, and she flaunts it with the intention of hooking up with handsome guys! And to her luck, she was just assigned to work with the cool Akira. But it turns out Akira's a girl! The only GL in this recommendation list...
Ikemen Dansou Reiya ni Koishiteru!! by Yunoki
AKA I'm in Love with a Handsome Cosplayer Dressed as a Man!! Another title summary lol... Only 1 chapter has been scanlated so far. Is a remake of another series by the author with a (slightly) different title, but I recommend this version (restarted in 2022). The main characters have a lot of similarities to HoriKashi! Assistant cameraman Kippei is invited to attend a cosplay event for the first time to get practice photographing people. He is immediately captivated by cosplayer Makoto. Makoto is equally interested in Kippei (he has muscle from lifting heavy shooting equipment after all!), but, not wanting to disappoint him, she continues to pretend to be a man in an attempt to get closer to him.
Tonari no Kinniku Joshi by Ano Amesuke
A short series about a muscular girl and a tsundere boy Ruby (the muscular girl) isn't technically an ikemen, but I love their dynamic (maybe I just like tsunderes?) I also have no recollection on how I found this series but it was saved on my mangadex. Some parts of the scanlation read weirdly, and since it's a short series, the writing isn't the best, but I still enjoyed it!!!!!!
Not a manga but will include it anyway: the Taiwanese drama Bromance would also fall under this category! I remember when older HoriKashi fans and I would talk about how well it would suit them as an AU ^^
--
There's so many more I wanted to recommend for one reason or another (like My Crossdressing Senpai... I wanted to make a whole section about exploring gender identity or featuring trans characters... And then there's some that barely have any relation and I just think people should pick up like Ruri Dragon) but I've been working on this for the past 4 hours LOL
Anyway if you took the time to read all this, thank you ❤️ If you've read any of these, feel free to reply ur thoughts or which ur most interested in!

I like Nozachiyo bcs i'm rooting for Sakura to get what she wants. But mostly I see them as good friends tbh....they are great, but I don't see a lot of romantic development between them?
Meanwhile the other ships do have a lot of romantic chemistry for me. Like WakaSeo and HoriKashi, have this "Oh they clearly like each other and are basically dating already but they need more time to figure it out" thing going on
I get that logic with Chiyo and Nozaki! Granted bc Nozaki is his own breed of awkward it’s hard to tell what he’s feeling so who knows?
WakaSeo and HoriKashi have way more overtly romantic moments especially in the anime. Cough I still want season 2 cough.

Do you like KashixHori or ever get frustrated on the way they express their love? Doesn't it remind you of iwaoi ? Though KashiHori supremacy- (also, I'm sorry if you answered this before already(╥﹏╥) I only joined tumblr because of you guys) 24/10/20
As a HQ fan I never really thought about the HoriKashi vs IwaOi comparisons before honestly. But they both do share the “tsundere has no patience for annoying partner’s quirks but they trust and value each other in the end” dynamic that’s common in animanga. And yes if you search up HoriKashi on our blog, we love this ship (a little too much in my case)

Ceremonies
@gsnkfandomweek GSNK FANDOM WEEK 2018 DAY 4: Time — Ceremonies Words: 2064 Characters: Kashima Yuu, Hori Masayuki, Sakura Chiyo (only mentioned) — OOC again. Ships: HoriKashi Summary: The end of the year is approaching, signifying new meetings and partings. The third year of Roman Academy, Hori Masayuki, is officially leaving the drama club and the academy, seeing himself to the graduation ceremony. However, his most problematic underclassman is still constantly bothering him about his nonexistent wish to be a heroine.
---------
If anything, Hori was the absolute personification of the word ‘done’ if he had to describe his relationship with Kashima. However, that was before… and this was now. His opinion of her had slightly improved, especially since she had started attending club practice regularly and was no longer playing hooky. It was surprising when it had first happened that he was extremely prepared to go ‘escort’ her after school again but she had constantly come.
He had been standing in contemplation, leaning against the wall of the train station’s interior as he flipped open his phone, seeing an incoming message from Nozaki. He quickly skimmed through the message before pausing, hearing Kashima’s familiar, light yet swift footsteps.
“Hori-senpai!” she exclaimed, waving to him from afar and instantaneously dashing towards him.
Almost in an instant, he turned on his heel, “Let’s go Kashima.”
“Ok!” she exclaimed, stretching out her hands spontaneously and followed him eagerly. “You still haven’t gro—”
In an instant, he slapped the back of her head to reprimand her, heaving a sigh. For a while, she had constantly been tactless and mentioned his height of 164cm. If anything, he could at least reassure himself that he was taller than Chiyo, even though she was a girl. Pushing that fact aside, he could’ve at least taken pride on being taller than someone for once. In middle school, he had felt fairly tall in comparison to the rest of his year but that glory ended all too soon with everyone’s transitions to high school. Puberty had smacked everyone like a boulder while it had basically only thrown a few stones at him, growing a remaining 2cm. He intended to become the lead by this year but now, he mastered the creation of backgrounds and clenched his fist victoriously.
Meanwhile, Kashima stared at Hori, cupping her chin. It was near the end of the year and Hori had never been given the role of the heroine yet. Feeling herself tear up about how pitiful he was about never being able to fulfil his yearning to be a heroine, she pat his shoulder. Kneeling down, she slid her own hand under his and placed her other hand over his.
“Prince—” she began before he slapped her across the face.
“Nice to know you’re so eager about being the prince of the drama club,” he laughed. “Soon, no one is going to escort you to the drama club.”
She quickly slapped him across the back, interrupting him“Hori-senpai, why don’t you try wearing a skirt?” she suggested eagerly before beginning to hold the hem of her skirt, “You can wear my skirt if you’d like.”
Pausing in his tracks, he turned to gaze at her and she met his gaze happily, wondering whether he’d accept the proposal or not. After all, she’d left him his skirt earlier but he never wore it and left him a set two piece with accessories and he didn’t wear that either.
“I’m not interested in wearing your clothes,” he admitted bluntly, facepalming.
“Even though you’re wearing briefs?” she inquired curiously.
“Sexual harassment!” he shouted, throwing his bag at her. “Oh, we’re at school already. I’ll see you after school Kashima.”
Kashima paused, almost in an instant as he began to distance himself away from her, “Hori-senpai!” she exclaimed. He paused, turning to face her, waiting for her to speak. She parted her lips in an attempt to speak. Running up to him, she raised a finger, “Hori-senpai, you should repeat a year.”
He kicked her in the side instinctively like how he had used to when he ‘escorted’ her. “What would be the point of me repeating a year?” he grunted, scratching the back of his head.
“You haven’t fulfilled your dreams of becoming a heroine yet, right Hori-senpai?!” she exclaimed.
He honestly had no idea where she got the idea that he wanted to be a heroine from but he needed to clear her delusions. “Kashima, I don’t want to be a heroine.”
“Don’t lie to yourself, Hori-senpai,” she breathed, taking his hand as she knelt down, her eyes glittering, “I will make your dream come true, princes—”
He punched her across the face, sighing to himself and massaging his temples, deciding to leave her behind as he headed to the third year building. What was with Kashima today? Shrugging it off as no big deal, he’d decide to look over the play that had been given to him by Nozaki. What sorts of backgrounds would he have to build? Fishing around for the script within his bag, he took it out and began flipping the pages, wondering where the prince character would’ve been this time.
-------------------------
“Kashima, your posture!” Hori corrected for the 100th time as he tapped the rolled up script on his shoulder impatiently. Had he been mistaken in her taking practice seriously? He didn’t think he was wrong but she was making an unbelievable amount of mistakes today.
“Sorry Hori-senpai,” she replied, beginning to fix her posture.
“Enough. Everyone, we’re taking a 5 minute break!” he exclaimed, raising himself from his chair and storming over to Kashima, “What’s with you today Kashima? Your performance is usually flawless but today you’re stumbling around like some outsider.”
“I didn’t want to disappoint you senpai,” she breathed.
“Well, you are disappointing me,” he stated bluntly, “What’s on your mind?”
Hori pondered to himself, maybe he should’ve retracted that statement. Kashima being worried about something was an impossible reality.
“Why can’t you be honest with yourself and be the heroine?!” she insisted, “You can ever wear my skirt or I could get a corset for you senpai! I can even ask sensei to lend you her clothes! She’s just 1 cm shorter than you. You can fit her clothes!”
“Kashima,” Hori reprimanded, “If you don’t want to take practice seriously, go back home. While I’m wasting my time with you, I could be doing the backgrounds.”
She fell silent, heading back to the drama prop room, deciding to change back into her school clothes. Glancing at Hori’s locker, she wondered whether to leave her skirt with him or not, recalling the day she had worn his pants back home. He was ‘pissed’ but it must’ve been his bashfulness from seeing the skirt that he longed to wear for so long. Chuckling to herself, she decided to wear her own skirt nonetheless and grabbed her bag, heading out casually.
“Bye, Hori-senpai!”
He didn’t reply, seemingly ignoring her but she smiled, watching his small figure sitting on the stage, sticking on page tags as he cupped his chin. That was the president she so happily admired. Exiting the room, she proceeded to head towards the shoe lockers and swapped out her indoor shoes with her outdoor shoes.
Soon enough, she returned back home and laid herself out lazily on her bed, deciding not to change just yet. Rolling on her side and accidentally hitting her hand on her table and heard the sound of something fall to the floor. Bending downwards to retrieve the object, she wondered just what exactly had fallen. Picking up the object, her eyes had widened. Fake flower petals adorned only a strip of thin paper that had written ‘Welcome’. Past memories began to resurface as she clutched the object.
----------
During the opening ceremony, a brown haired man wearing a white shirt had run over to her instantly, holding a large amount of flyers. Strangely enough, his red tie was within his pocket. Almost in an instant, he gripped her shoulders, his eyes glowing and his face beaming.
“You can become the prince of the drama club!” he exclaimed enthusiastically.
“What, really?! Cool!” she replied.
“Please come see the drama club!”  he replied, handing her another flyer and gazed at her for only a few moments, as though he were examining her face. Nodding to himself, he decided to leave her, handing out flyers to other students that were entering. Although in comparison, his enthusiasm with her was the greatest. Smiling to herself, she glanced at the flyer. Of course she’d go see the drama club. After all, he was the reason she enrolled into Roman Academy.
----------
Before she knew it, she felt herself stumbling out her door, attempting to throw on her shoes. Hori-senpai’s graduating, she thought to herself. She had been so sullen about it the whole day, constantly trying to avoid the topic yet even if she wanted him to stay, he wouldn’t have done so. He couldn’t stay at Roman Academy. He wasn’t repeating a year. It felt so frustrating. His constant kicking and reprimanding of her was something unique, she’d never forget the day she first saw his exceptional acting. Running back to the academy, she felt her breath coming in quick, short pants. Finally reaching the front gates and seeing her said person she was searching for about to exit as he flipped open his phone, she attempted to tackle him until he reflexively deflected her by kicking her away.
Raising herself upwards groggily from the injury, she gazed at him. She could see herself reflected within his hazel brown eyes. They had only spent 2 years together but she parted her lips, feeling the volume in her voice rise.
“I can become the prince of the drama club?! Right?!” she exclaimed. That’s what he told her and she decided to believe in those words.
“With a face like yours, of course you can,” he said bluntly before continuing, “What’s on your mind, Kashima?”
“Hori-senpai,” she said, clasping his hands, “Won’t you be the heroine of my story?”
“Why do I have to be the heroine?” he grunted, swatting her hands off.
Proceeding to lift him upwards, she grinned, “Don’t lie Hori-senpai! You like it when I carry you like this, don—”
He kicked her in the stomach, allowing himself to fall back onto the ground, sighing. He had to help Nozaki with backgrounds today and Kashima was only a distraction right now. “Hurry up and say what you want,” he sighed.
“I don’t want you to leave Roman Academy! I’m going to miss you and no one is going to lecture me as much as you do and I won’t ever be able to act with someone as great as you again! After all, you’re the reason I went to Roman Academy!” she admitted.
“Really…?” he murmured.
Feeling his cheeks beginning to flare, he decided no further comment was needed. Of course he’d be missed by his underclassmen, how could he have forgotten about that? He’d been more preoccupied about the single fact that he was leaving rather than thinking about the external factors. Turning to face her, he smiled, wondering whether he’d miss her too. He probably would’ve but he refused to admit it.
---------------------
Hori felt his heart beating as he received his scroll on the graduation ceremony before applause broke out. All the other third years had received their scrolls and soon began scattering outside the school hall, trying to say goodbye to all of their underclassmen. He ought to do the same and wondered where to go first.
“Hori-senpai!” Kashima shouted. She had been waving to him enthusiastically, wearing the prince costume from the drama club’s storeroom. She stood there silently, grinning until he paused, hit with the sudden realisation of something. He never found out who those legs belonged to, he... kind of wanted to look and touch them at least once. Reluctantly and hesitantly, he decided to forget about it considering it had been his last day here.
“Kashima, I’m thinking of being a professional in creating backgrounds for plays,” he admitted. “If you’re going to do acting again. Maybe I’ll see you on the stage again one day.”
She parted her lips in an attempt to speak but fell silent, contemplating her response before grinning, “Is it because you’re too short to be the main lead?”
“KASHIMA!” he shouted angrily, taking her legs and swinging her around furiously.
He decided not to make any further comment. One day, would all of this become a fleeting memory for him? Would he grow taller than Kashima? Who would do backgrounds for Nozaki when his schedule became full with university and a part-time job? Closing his eyes and smiling to himself, he’d leave that thought for another day. For now, he just wanted to live in the moment.

For the shipping meme, how about the 3s, 4s, and 5s (3,4,5,13,14, etc)?
This uh, this took a while.
3. What’s your current OTP?
Whoo boy, we’d be here all day depending if this is like every anime I watched…I’ll list only my top 3 for my top 10 animes/most active fandoms, sound good?
Haikyuu: Kagehina, IwaOi, and KurooKenHunterxHunter: KilluGon, LeoPika, KnucklePalmBnHA: TodoDeku, Dekurara, IidauraraVoltron: Klance, Hance, HeithYuri!! on Ice: Victurri….that’s basically all you need in that show lolGekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun: The standards, Nozakura, WakaSeo, HoriKashiFairy Tail: NaLu, Gruvia, JellerzaAttack on Titan: EreMika, EreArim, LeviHan (I know, super unpopular opinions but still)Mob Psycho 100: MobTeru…that’s basically it.Akatsuki no Yona: HakYona. That’s. That’s all you need.
4. What’s your current NOTP?
Anything with major age gaps, mostly Shaladin ships.
5. Do you have any poly ships?
A few, although most of them are from haikyuu. Kagehinayachi, tsukkiyamayachi, kagehinaken, would mention more but we’d be here for days. Also a big fan of klunk from voltron
13. Has a ship ever broken your heart?
Ah, a few. Tbh I was a big fan of IchiRuki from Bleach, so when IchiHime became canon I was a little upset. At least she ended up with Renji though, so I’m okay with that. I also liked that ship.
14. How do you feel about will they/won’t they?
I believe that most of my ships have a decent chance of happening, besides maybe haikyuu, bnha, and Soul eater (since it’s over). I don’t like when authors play with our ships though, if that’s what this question is referring to, like the author making it seem like it could happen but then it doesn’t just to tease.
15. Have you ever “shipped at first sight”?
Many of my ships are from this. Especially TodoDeku, Kagehina, and Klance since I’m a big fan of rivals to friends to lovers.
23. was already answered!
24. Do you mostly ship canon pairings?
Ah, it depends on the fandom. I have a few like NaruHina, EdxWinry, etc. where I shipped them before it was canon. For the most part though, I would say no. Mostly since a majority of my fandoms have little to do with romance and it won’t come true.
25. Have you ever shipped a pairing before you even started watching the show/movie simply because of gifs and graphics or similar?
TodoDeku. I hadn’t met Todoroki before I saw pics of him with Deku and as such, I really got into the ship before I started.
33. Name your favorite fanartist(s).
PngPotPies for her awesomely cute Klance, ThesearchingAstronaut for the same, Zippi44 for her NaLu (Fairy Tail) and LuNa (One Piece), ohmilk for her Kagehina, oh, and the mangaka Bubuhanten for her Kagehina.
34. Share your favorite fanmix for your OTP.
Oh shit I have quite a few uh. My favorite is the Drowning with you  Klance Playlist. And my favorite Kagehina one is Cause you are loved by the best Kagehina song is this bad boy
35. Recommend 1-5 shipper blogs.
Most of my blogs are strict shipping blogs so I can’t really help much here but I’ll try PngPotPies, keith-and-lance-do-cool-things , thesearchingastronaut for fanart of the sameah, I also like red-lion-onesiezoldyck-freecss for killugonaki-saeand hopelessdorksinlove, dropthepopcandy, and viria for kagehina/volleyball goodness

W T M K C D A :>
W: A trope which you are certainly to hate in any fandom.
Oh. My. God. Okay, I’m gonna rant about the series itself and fans. I really, really hate the overused “guy trips on girl and grabs her breast and then she greets him with a slap” trope. (This usually happens in harems or anything involving tsunderes). I have grown to strongly dislike most tsundere girls, because of these kinds of tropes. There was one anime I watched where the girl walked in on the guy shirtless (or nude) and SHE slapped him. Like?? What? I also dislike when characters believe in the Power of Friendship and it saves them to an enemy they were losing to 5 seconds prior. I also dislike that the main heroines of reverse harems have little to no personality 95% of the time. As for the fans of a series, I really dislike when people get so whiny over others’ opinions or ships. Like, chill out, man. And there’s this one fandom I’m specifically thinking about (but I won’t say anything, because I don’t want to get shot), but it somehow makes its way into every conversation now. I DIDN’T MEAN TO RANT THIS MUCH, LMAO. PLEASE IGNORE ME.
T: Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending?
Hmmm. Trans boy Bakugou? I wouldn’t say I’d die defending it, but that’s my most recent headcanon, and one I’ve been sticking with…for the most part.
M: Name a character that you’d like to have for a friend.
There’s so many! Probably Ryuji Sakamoto from Persona 5 though! He’s a lot like me, and I’ll fight anyone that disses him.
K: What character has your favorite character development arc/the best development arc?
I already answered this one, but I have no problem answering it again! I am a whore for character development! So Yona from Akayona and Luke fon Fabre from Tales of the Abyss are some of the best developments I’ve seen. As for JoJo, the best I’d have to give to Johnny Joestar. I honestly hope Joshuu goes through that much development. The shittier the character is in the beginning, the better their development is.~
C: A ship you have never liked and probably never will.
There’s too many, so I’ll just stick with JoJo for this. Honestly, I’ve never really cared much for Josuyasu. Doesn’t mean I won’t reblog art if I see it (I love art and want to spread it around like a wildfire), but I’ve never had an attachment to it. If anything, they’re a Brotp.
D: A pairing you wish you liked but just can’t.
Again, I’ll stick with JoJo. I can’t really get into Bruno x Abbacchio. I see a lot of cute art for it, and wanna like it, but it just doesn’t click for me.
A: Ships that you currently like a lot.
Kiribaku!!! (Kirishima x Bakugou from BNHA), Yona x Hak (from Akayona. That’ll probably be my number one OTP for all of time), Ryuji x Akira/MC x Makoto (by OT3 from Persona 5), KurooKen (Kuroo x Kenma from Haikyuu!!), AliMor (Alibaba x Morgiana from MAGI), Leon x Ema (from GARO: Honoo no Kokuin), Tsumugu x Chisaki (Nagi no Asukara), Victorique x Kazuya (GOSICK), and HoriKashi (Hori x Kashima from GSNK). As for JoJo, I like Josuhan, Jotakak, and DinoPants. Josuke x Yasuho is perfect as well.
Lmao, I am so sorry, some of these are really long! Thanks for the ask! :3

The Mornings of the Siblings
@gsnkfandomweek GSNK FANDOM WEEK DAY 7: Manga/ Manga-Only Characters — The Mornings of the Siblings
Words: 1312 Characters: Sakura Towa, Sakura Chiyo, Kashima Rei, Kashima Yuu, Nozaki Mayu, Nozaki Yumeko, Seo Yuzuki, Seo Ryosuke, Hori Masayuki and Nozaki Umetarou (both only mentioned) Ships: Slight phrases of HoriKashi Summary: (In chronological order) The mornings of Sakura Towa, Kashima Rei, Nozaki Mayu and Yumeko, and Seo Ryosuke.
-----
Coughing, Sakura felt herself sobbing by the fact that she was unable to attend school and see Nozaki nor help him with his manga. Meanwhile, Towa grudgingly ate his breakfast in attempted peace over his noisy sister’s wails.
“Towa,” she sobbed for the 100th and last time, “How am I supposed to see Nozaki-kun today?!”
“Onee-chan, you’re so noisy,” he sighed, glancing her way reluctantly. And it’s 2x worse today, he thought to himself, gazing at his sister who had been crying and talking about how admirable Nozaki was.
Towa, on the other hand, had no idea why his sister Chiyo was so in love with him. He was just a model and was certainly beyond her reach. Massaging his temples, he wondered how she would’ve coped if Nozaki got a girlfriend from the world of models. It certainly wasn’t an impossible reality and that… was one of his most recent concerns. What if Nozaki had become so popular that he disregarded Sakura and her feelings towards him? With him as a model and she as a regular high school student, they were worlds apart, especially since he had always received such a large range of love letters and portraits while a number of people competed for his autographs. Raising himself upwards from his seat, he entered his room and returned to the kitchen, shoving his neatly folded sports uniform into his bag and hoisting his tennis racquet over his shoulder.
“Onee-chan, I’m going,” he said.
“Take care Towa,” she sighed wistfully and he knew for certain that she was thinking of that model again.
--------------------------
Rei began braiding the smaller ends of her hair as she began preparing herself early in the morning. Her school was 3 stations away from Roman Academy after all so she needed far more time to prepare than her sister. She wondered how her sister, Yuu, was doing. Smiling to herself, she thought to herself that Yuu would be sleeping peacefully in her room. Recently, her older sister had been focused on club activities despite being so lax about it previously. She wondered if she found someone she had fallen in love with, perhaps a senpai or something of the sort. Rei couldn’t understand since she went to an all girls’ school but she had several male teachers and was always instructed to not touch males by them.
She was certainly very surprised when she had found that the the person she idolised, Yumeno Sakiko, the manga artist of ‘Let’s Fall in Love’ was a male rather than a female. Finishing her hair, she pat down her uniform and glanced at herself in the bathroom mirror. She looked ready to set out after breakfast. Popping bread into the toaster, she began packing her bag, placing in all that she needed for today then smearing butter onto the toaster as she began setting off. Heading to the doorway, she felt herself be embraced from behind.
“Rei, are you leaving already?” Kashima said, snuggling onto her sister’s shoulder comfortably.
“Onee-sama,” Rei pouted as she slipped on her shoes, “I can’t be late for my train.”
“Wait for me Rei, I’ll be done in a minute,” Kashima said, instantly standing upwards and returning to her room. She instantly came back, dressed in the familiar black jumper and navy blue skirt. Her sister was fast at redressing, as one would expect for a drama club member, she’d have to quickly change costumes to continue acting.
“Onee-sama, on the school festival… I’ll see you act, won’t I?” she inquired as Kashima opened the door for her like a proper gentleman.
A smile played on Kashima’s lips as she remembered the school festival from when she was still in middle school. She had specifically chosen to enrol into Roman Academy due to witnessing Hori’s exceptional acting and was delighted when he scouted her. “Of course you will,” she replied. “Maybe you’ll even get to see Hori-senpai’s acting… I’m so happy when I’m on the stage with him that I can’t stop smiling.”
Rei beamed at the way she had spoken about her senpai. Perhaps that was the reason she had become more motivated for club activities. Giggling to herself, she asked one more question. “Do you love him?”
Kashima paused until glancing at her sister whilst beaming as she thought about Hori. She always became motivated when he was on stage with her and always felt motivated regardless of his role; he could’ve been her lover, her rival, her pet or some other role and she’d still be ecstatic. Taking all of those factors into consideration, she grinned. “I do!” she replied enthusiastically.

Mayu was tired… well, rather than tired, the more correct term would’ve been lazy. He was in his spotted pyjamas and wasn’t even bothered enough to eat. The only reason why he would’ve looked forward to school today is because there was judo club activities today and as the captain and a sports enthusiast, he had to attend. Groaning and reluctantly parting from his bed, he headed to the bathroom whilst beginning to nod off as he squeezed out toothpaste onto his toothbrush. After brushing his teeth, he sat on the dining table, still dressed in his pyjamas. His little sister, Yumeko, was already dressed in her middle school uniform though. Donning on a green dress over her white shirt, a ribbon tied near her collar.
“Onii-chan,” she said, “You’re still wearing your pyjamas.”
He sighed and returned back to his room then returned back with his white polo shirt and pyjama pants. His expression was one of believing that changing was tiresome… unless it was for judo. Therefore, old enough to understand that factor, Yumeko decided that it would’ve been best to leave him alone instead of sending him to go back and change into his school pants. She was looking forward to the new chapter of ‘Let’s Fall in Love’ that was being released today in the stores. Her older brother, Umetarou, would probably be dropping by in the afternoon with the volume, sighed and everything. She truly did wonder why he always lied about saying he was ‘Yumeno Sakiko’. He’d never be able to fool her but he was getting better at copying Yumeno’s signature. It was even the spitting image. She watched her brother head out while still eating his breakfast and made no comment, deciding to trail after him so they could walk to school together.

Seo awoke to the sound of plates being returned into the cupboard repeatedly. Her brother, Ryosuke, was probably awake and was about to head to university or work. Opening the door, she glanced at him from afar who had begun to tie his hair back as he washed the dishes, already finishing breakfast. Ryosuke wiped down the dining table, a habit from his work and double checked his bag. He had his waiter uniform in the larger back pocket and the rest of his school supplies at the front. He wondered whether Miyako was going to be attending today’s lesson and brushed it off. She was probably busy with her own work… as a cabaret lady along with that man named Nozaki. He still couldn’t believe that she was a cabaret lady but he was relieved that she and Nozaki weren’t a couple. Glancing at the clock, he realised that he was going to be running late for his morning shift if he didn’t leave now since classes were in the afternoon.
“Crap,” he thought aloud as he quickly yet clumsily slipped on his shoes and staggered out the doorway as he attempted to leave while still putting on his shoes. “I’m leaving!”
Closing the door behind him, he knew his little sister Yuzuki would’ve been able to take care of herself. Smiling to himself, he guessed that she was probably still asleep in her room.
