Aaaaa I was so proud when I drew this one! And I pretty much am, still. Looking at him is really satisfying for me, it was a hard design to make. And I also I did not really do much of decoration on my designs background before that, and this is the one where it just CLICKED. Initially well-meaning selfless and modest, an exemplary angemo, he has gradually become prideful and determined beyond reason and manipulative to a fault, somewhat in the image of the mortal in his care.

Getting overly attached (partially as a result of a quite few successfully prevented attempts at his human`s life at the early age), he, with the best of intentions, dwindled with his fate in subtle (and, in the later days, not so subtle) ways which has lead to said mortal becoming a tyrant emperor and living an abnormally long life, which Aurelius protected at all costs. Even after witnessing his mortal go senile and mad, he preferred to stay by his side and used all his wit to keep him alive as long as he could, going as far as keeping his natural death at bay for some time, per fas et nefas

After his mortal has died after all, he has fallen in denial, neglecting in his blind grief the next soul that has been entrusted to him, resulting in its early passing, which went just as unnoticed by a grieving angemo as it`s short life.

With no aim left to his life he now wanders aimlessly, an empty husk of a former self, inconsolable, cold and detached from reality, most of the time oblivious even to what he now is (and even at times when he realises what he is he directly leads his state to letting his original mortal die), only sometimes finding joy and pride in news of the empire he inadvertantly helped build. Never have meant harm in his life or even in this state, he still should be approached with caution, for he knows not what he is doing.

It is a rare sight to see his eyes fully open, but when they do, his gaze is clouded with unshed tears. In his gemono form however, he is far more genuine and candid, straight up bawling his eyes out any time he transforms.

________________________________________________________________________________________________ In his heavenly form he had slim white feathered wings and his hair were long and silky, covering his frame like a golden white mantle.

I Dislike Angemos with a true passion. Every time I thought I saw a cute biblically-accurate-angel character in Someone's profiles only to find out that it belongs to some uncreative specie meant to milk Pop-designers for every drop of Creativity they have.
