just found your blog, and saw anon's rant about AntsCanada. I used to watch him, until I got fed up with how long the beetle (?) battle took (by the time he posted his video, the beetles were old wtf) and I since have unsuscribed. I liked him for teaching me more about ants, but what is up with him now? Is there something he's doing wrong? Im gen curious, I don't know what's going on.

he bought an axolotl from a shady pet store on a whim to put in a tiny unfiltered “tank” that was just a little pool next to an ant colony to eat the dead ants. Axolotl do not eat ants. After criticism he spent a lot of money on a new tank but also bought a second axolotl from the same store with the intention to breed them despite it being very likely they were siblings. He spent that video talking down to and insulting people who said it was abusive to put an axolotl in a tiny unfiltered tank. Entomologists and ant enthusiasts have spoken out against his ant enclosures as well as they serve to look pretty to humans rather than suit the needs of ants. He also has a habit of pitting animals in death matches in cockfighting style fights that would be illegal if the ones involved were vertebrates.
