So I had this idea for a little while now.. There is this criminal minds audio right now that’s trending; it goes like “How old are you? 29? I’m 30. - We missed your birthday? Why didn’t you tell us?” So I was wondering if you could write an Akito x reader for that scenario. The reader turned sixteen/seventeen and akito & the rest of vbs didn’t know.

ft. Toya, An, and Kohane / Vivid BAD SQUAD

You had been dating Akito for a while now. After being close friends since elementary school, it was only a matter of time before romantic feelings were felt for the other.

The both of you almost knew everything about the other, schedules, practice dates, birthdays, and so much more.

Whenever Akito had a performance coming up, he tended to forget alot of important dates, but out of all dates he could've forgotten, why this one?

It was a little hard for Akito to explain to you VBS' 'sekai'. A world created by feelings? A world with pieces of all 4 of you connected? What do you mean virtual singers can be found there?

Once you finally were able to put atleast some of what he was saying together ( you have no clue what's going on ), he asked if you'd like to visit.

Today is that day.

"You ready, [Name]? It's a little confusing when you first go, but I promise you'll like it" Akito shot you an awkward smile. You responded with a quiet chuckle and said "Im ready! I can't wait to meet Hatsune Miku and Ka..Kaga.."

"Kagamine Rin and Len."

"Thats what I said. I am really excited to meet all of them either way. Let's go!"

Akito double-clicked on a computer file, and the room flashed white. You closed your eyes instinctively and you soon felt so light. When you opened your eyes, you saw a beautiful café, a short haired brunette, and the rest of Vivid Bad Squad sitting and talking with her.

She turned to look at you and Akito, and gave you a warm smile and walked over to say hello.

"Ah, you must be [Name]! It's a pleasure to finally meet you. Welcome to our sekai. My name is MEIKO."

You paused for a moment, eyeing her. She didn't seem mean, and she did resemble and sound like Meiko..

"Nice to meet you as well. Is this your cafe? It smells great."

Akito smiled happily watching you and MEIKO walk towards the café, soon joining his band mates and meeting the other VIRTUAL SINGERS.

One by one, as MIKU, RIN, LEN, KAITO, and LUKA gathered to come say hi. At some point, the conversation had switched over to childhood memories, and LUKA had asked how old you were.

You opened your mouth to answer, but Akito was far quicker than you were.

"[Name]'s sixteen. They're only a few months younger than me and-"

"I'm seventeen."

The room went silent for a few moments, Everyone looking at you and Akito with wide eyes, and you felt a lump in your throat.

An was the first to pipe up, "We missed your birthday? Why didn't you tell us?"

"I did. I texted the groupchat that day." You messed with a hangnail. "I guess you all had ignored the birthday cake next to my contact name or the many pictures I took on my birthday. But you guys did also have a performance on my birthday, so you didn't have much of a chance to see me."

You looked up to glance at everyone. Akito looked away guiltily, Toya and Kohane looked worried, and An was surprised. RIN, LEN, and KAITO looked angry. MEIKO had frozen up, her hand hovering over the on button for the coffee maker while LUKA looked slightly confused. MIKU looked at the 4 of them, disappointed. When she locked eyes with you, she gave you an apologetic look.

Unable to handle the silence and embarrassment you felt, you quickly grabbed your phone and left the sekai, feeling the tears and watching your vision get blurry.

The next day, you woke up to knocks on your door. When you opened it, Akito and the rest of VBS were holding multiple presents as their eyes lit up when they heard the door unlocking.

Akito started, "Hey, [Name]. About yesterday, We felt incredibly bad for missing out on your whole birthday solely because we had people to perform for. I know it might be a little late for all this, but we got you late birthday presents and food."

Kohane added on, "Akito's right. We had all planned gifts for you in advance to your birthday, but we all know how that went." Toya spoke up as well, "Mhm. We truly hope you can forgive us, and we can make it up to you in this way." An swayed side to side slowly before speaking up, "Even if you dont forgive us, atleast take the gifts? You truly deserve them."

You couldn't help but feel a little giddy as you forgave them all and pulled all of them in for a hug. You let them inside and the rest of the day was filled with happiness, gifts, and pancakes. ( Thank Akito. )

1. at what age did you start RPing?

i started in (checks notes) september '22 ! so uhhh Recently!

12. what do you think about AUs?

i personally struggle with writing AUs because i'm a very canon-focused writer when it comes to fan content? like i get really stressed out by writing things that stray too far from a canon. i develop a lot of headcanons or will choose to diverge from canon out of spite for how the original writer treated the source material, but that's about the extent of how far i'll go. i do enjoy other people's AUs-- i just come across them very rarely since usually i stay away from fandom.

i'm just not a Fandom Guy, generally speaking... i have very little patience for the internet drama that comes with fandom spaces, and i think a lot of it gets very pointless very quickly.

13. what do you think about OCs?

OCs r so epic and awesome and fweaking cool. personally i'd struggle with them in a mfrp setting-- most of my muses (besides gabe) i've apped bc of other characters in the group i could see them building relationships with, and without those connections i would have a Really hard time getting off the ground. but i do write an OC in a different group who is native to the group's setting, and it's an absolute blast to work with the lore of that group and with the other people who write related OCs!!

(also before isola i was primarily a long-form writer so generally i don't use the term OC to refer to characters OTL)

29. what are your honest thought about your muse’s canon?

man..... i will never be a lmk defender, i think the way the showrunners went about creating this show (initially? idk if it's stayed the same over time) was hugely disrespectful, the western fandom is very white, which a lot of the time ends up very disrespectful as well. (i remain grateful that the show doesn't have guanyin in it bc i would explode and die if i had to see white people talk about her the same way they talked about the rest of the cast, and i'm not even a buddhist.)

anyway. meta stuff aside, ultimately it's a kid's show, so some stuff doesn't hit, but whatever. i don't like a lot of season 1's monster of the week stuff while they're still trying to settle into a story. also a lot of the worldbuilding is lackluster, and i'm a huge freak for interesting worldbuilding (<- spoiled by friends at the table). i do like the characters though... i am not immune to mythology retellings.

i do think it's very fun to play with, especially considering the richness of tradition of jttw retellings... we have three separate jttw casts hanging out in here! i have my qualms with the show but i write macaque cos it's incredibly fun bouncing around with y'all.

30. what are your favorite RP tropes to play? (angst, hurt-comfort, etc…)

retired gods is hands down my favorite. like what happens when you're a god and you want to stop being a god... epic

i do indulge in hurt/comfort sometimes but i generally lean heavier on the comfort than the hurt. i have a hard time writing angst for a lot of complicated reasons

i like really meticulous worldbuilding, does that count as a trope

HI. my jean is my pride and joy. i lost my 50/50 on ayaka's first banner and got her when i first started playing (my first ever 5 star!!) and i just. never looked back. i have a ton of like. actual dps-intended 5 stars that i could easily main but im incapable of giving her up for anyone. i literally have c1 ayaka now and i STILL main jean. if i had a little less dignity or care for my own money i would buy her summer outfit but unfortunately i am poor. so uhhh if anyone wants to tip me $25--

ive been actively working towards a 100k burst since like. well at the very least since before vv was in the fucking strongbox bc i think i have like 500 runs on that stupid ass domain. im obsessed with anemo characters in general tho so it ended up being worth it. someday I will get heizou and i will have a fully-completed build waiting for him when he comes home

anyways. up until today i was running jean on 2vv 2glad, which got me up to about 96k bursts, but her off piece was a shim and I rolled a better shim piece when farming for yoimiya so the 100k burst build is 2vv 2shim with a glad off piece! Currently her weapon is blackcliff longsword (the extra crit dmg is what finally pushed her over into 100k!) but i desperately want jade cutter. i lost the 50/50 when it was running last month so i had to settle for a 4 star :/ without buffs she has around 1.9k atk, a crit ratio of 50/158 , and a 61% anemo dmg bonus. With no buffs or supports her skill crits are around 20k and her burst crits are around 30-35k!

for her showcase rotation I use a standard anemo dps showcase rotation (i believe this one was originally developed for xiao), which since anemo can't take advantage of any reaction buffs is bascially just stacking atk. (I do also use food & potion buffs, idk exactly what the dmg drop is without them bc i havent tried it.) the team is c1 bennett with noblesse and aquilla favonia (high base atk), c0 mona with TTDS and tenacity, and c6 anemo traveler with vv (weapon doesn't matter, mine has sac sword.) the point of all of this is basically just to stack atk buffs bc that's really the only thing anemo dps's can take advantage of, aside from c6 traveler's anemo res shred.

rotation goes bennett skill x2 (to break the cryo regisvine shield) > bennett burst (atk buff scaled off weapon + noblesse buff) > traveler burst (res shred) > mona skill (4pc tenacity atk buff & ttds character swap buff) > mona burst (atk buff) > jean burst! this rotation should also work with any other anemo character you want to build as a dps. I haven't tried it with my xiao yet bc i've been so focused on jean but he regularly hits around 30k per strike unbuffed so. i think it will make him insane lol

ANYWAYS. jean main nation. someday I'll get jade cutter and then i'll be unstoppable

Well, this isn't hard - obviously my answer is going to be Flash Thompson. I don't know why it's apparently so difficult - he's not really that complicated of a character. Not compared to a lot of Marvel mainstays. But so many people either make him JUST a bully or JUST a hoo-rah America military man. And by that I mean both fans and canon writers. But Flash contains so many multitudes! He's worked in schools, he's a mentor, he's a coach, he's charisma incarnate, he has so many ways he can help people. And I love him.

But I did once see a long post (and I mean lengthy) describing in detail - mind you, withOUT actually giving any canon evidence or issues or really anything to back up their argument - why Eddie Brock nor the Venom Symbiote should ever be shipped with anyone else, ADDITIONALLY stating that if you were to, say, add another person to that relationship, that you fundamentally are misunderstanding the whole point of """"symbrock"""" and, largely, Venom as a concept. Wow, loaded question. Probably the racism. And the misogyny. Both of which are still rampant! It's something I, myself, am still trying to work on, so it's not like I'm excluded from my own frustration. I don't understand why so many people in the Venom fandom make fics where the host (Eddie, because nobody writes about anyone else) is the one going through the gestational cycle when there is a new spawn rather than the symbiote. It is literally so much funnier and also makes so much more sense to make the symbiote the pregnant one. "but kita it's can-" SHUT UP THE SYMBIOTE WAS THE PREGNANT ONE (it's called "choose violence" asks for a reason 💖)

Eddie walked around the other side and hopped into the driver's seat. "Yeah, if they warm up to me." He sighed, and you clicked your tongue.

You squeaked in surprise, but she let go, turning to Eddie.

Your mother just shook her head, moving past his hand to pull the very nervous young man into a bone-crushing hug.

"So, are y'all hungry?" Your mother asked, motioning towards where the dining room was at.

"Definitely." You spoke up, and your mother's smile widened.

"Really?! Good! I just made my famous stew!" She exclaimed, before leading you all to the dining room.

Eddie coughed a bit before clearing his throat. "Uh... Well, I like Metallica and I'm in a band... That's pretty much it." He spoke, trying to avoid eye contact with anyone.

"A band, huh? Y/N's father was one in his day." Your mother spoke with a smirk, and Eddie's eyes widened slightly, turning to your dad.

"Really?" He muttered, glancing up at you.

Your mother sighed dreamily, “I can still remember the hair he had back then. Reminds me of the Beatles.”

You nodded, as your father began to speak, "I was in a small band in my youth. We played at the local clubs, and we had quite a few fans. I even got invited to perform on the radio show." He spoke, and your eyes grew wide.

"That's so metal..." Eddie breathed out, and you couldn't help but smile.

"And, it seems falling for guitar players runs in the family." Your mother spoke, her teasing gaze staring into your own.

"Uhh, so, how about dessert?" You chuckled, earning another look from your mother as she stood from her seat and headed into the kitchen.

You turned to Eddie, who was now blushing and looking down at his glass of water.

Anyway leatia sorry for the delay. I had like five paragraphs written when Tumblr decided to crash and eat my draft. Anyway, this ask is in reference to this post.

1–do I daydream or just go for it? Both! Either/Or! Depends on the fic. Some of them I write to fulfill a prompt. Others circulate in my brain and live there for weeks, pestering me til I write them. Some are born because I’m suddenly struck with inspiration by something. Sometimes I see someone else execute a great idea poorly. Sometimes I get into a new fandom and think “I wanna play here too!” Who knows what’ll trigger the next one? So both! Always both! And more!

4–how do I choose what to write? I don’t! :) I write whatever comes to mind. I’m an enabler at heart even though I try not to be sometimes, and this includes myself. Besides, if I don’t let my creativity and imagination drive the car, they’ll hit me over the head, toss me in the back and drive anyway! And if it’s the choice between two or more ideas, we (me, myself, and I) just write them all! Why choose when you don’t have to? After all, I’m ultimately a chaotic bitch and I dabble a lot anyway.

5– how many wips do I have? Don’t put me on blast like this 🙈 I’m a messy bitch. I have four right now for AFO/Reader, only one of which is posted on site. I have three others on that account, a Tensura one (Rimuru x OC), and some Pokémon Isekai. I have around 20-30 collectively across my other accounts , with some that are abandoned and some just on indefinite hiatus. I won’t spill those though because I’m actually pretty well known in certain fandoms under those names and I went incognito to get away from the pressure. 😂 I have anywhere from 30-50 wips that have never seen the light of day and some never will. These, like the ones posted to my other accounts, are across various fandoms. Like upwards of anywhere between 15-30 fandoms. Can’t list em all.

You can just imagine him stumbling down a busy city street, cold, shivering, and ignored. It infuriates you to this day to know no one helped him until you and All For One came along.

He scoffs at the endearment, but wanders over anyway. A blush decorates his cheeks. At sixteen, he happens to be one of those teens who gets embarrassed when his parents act overly affectionate in front of others, including his own siblings and Kurogiri. It was adorable. The frantic scratching at his neck isn’t though.

i embarrassed myself big time and now i can't think straight because i want to disappear off the face of the earth like arghdhhghgh

so i had an exam on monday. it was differential geometry which is one of the easier subjects. the prof is very chill, he's not a very good teacher but he's a good guy, you know the type.

and i uhhh... had a panic attack 5 minutes after walking into the exam room. i was shaking uncontrollably, asked to get some air and ran to the bathroom to throw up. like i was literally shaking and crying and throwing up.

so anyway, after throwing up i went back into the exam room and tried to write the exam anyway, all while shaking and still feeling super nauseous. there were lots of calculations and i kept getting things wrong like id write that 2*3 is equal to 5 and stuff like that. so yeah, i wrote god knows what.

and important context, this exam is eliminatory! so if i didn't pass, i would be kicked out of the faculty. and i would have to write an opposition letter to ask them to not kick me out. and get a doctor's note and everything. that's why i was also super stressed. because failing thing exam would possibly mean 4 years of studying down the drain.

so i finish the exam, hand in the paper, cry a little and rush to the maths counselor's office. i break down crying in front of him, saying that it's all over. he consoles me by saying they'll definitely accept the opposition letter if im kicked out, everything will be okay, ive been a good student so far, it's not that bad, etc. and he says that i should see the science faculty counselor and tell him about my situation.

so i call my parents like shit shit shit, im getting kicked out of uni. they freak out obviously. cos that means im gonna have to restart everything and graduate when im in my 30s. and basically not get a job, be a failure, etc. etc. they don't sleep the whole night, they're super worried, my stepdad and my mum get into a fight over all of this. the family is falling apart.

the next day i go see the faculty counselor and he says that if i give a doctor's note saying i suffer from anxiety before getting the grade, i have a 50/50 chance of being allowed to retake the exam. but it has to be done before they announce the grades.

i don't have a gp, i don't know any doctors, especially those who'd be okay giving me a note that says that i suffer from anxiety. my stepdad suggests that i call the therapist i used to go to back in 2020 and say that it's an emergency and that i need to see her asap.

i call the therapist, she doesn't reply so i leave a voice message, sobbing like "this is life or death, please can we schedule a session, this is urgent". thinking about this voice message makes my skin crawl like ughhh it was so bad.

then im like shit shit shit, if i can't get a note from her today, what if they announce the grades tomorrow and im getting kicked out ahhhhhhhhhh

so i message the geometry professor and the two assistants like "guys, i was shaking and crying and throwing up during the exam. im trying to get a doctor's note from my therapist before the grades drop. when are you gonna announce the grades i need to know??? i vomited everywhere, just fyi". again, very embarrassing impulsively written email.

and 10 seconds later the assistant replies like "everyone passed the exam, no worries".

and im like what.

then about an hour later the professor replies and says "i looked at your copy, your work looks pretty solid, you'll get a 4.5 and we'll announce the grades tomorrow, is that okay with you?". and im likeeeee bro

passing grade is a 4. a 4.5 is like really good. like reeeally good.

rottmnt movie AU where, when Casey gets sent back to 2020, Old Ass Leon gets sent back 550~ years and now he has to figure out 1 how to get to Japan from Pre-Colombian North America to help deal with the uhhh fuckin shredder situation 2 whether he even should try to change his own personal history in such a way since it was due to the direct influence of the shredder that his family was personally able to resist the krang for as long as they managed to 3 what he actually can be capable of changing without creating an unrecognizable world completely unlike his own

tmnt but they got mutated during like WW1. could be set in the 20s and have a combined Call of Cthulhu/Great Gatsby vibe tbh. i might decide to do this one later because it sounds cool as hell to me lol

kind of a body horror-focused reverse-mutation AU where the turtles in fact start out as humans and get turtled. i know this is what happens to jennika anyway but i am Envisioning It In My Mind and I would like to see it.

TMNT au partially inspired by Neil Gaiman's "Whatever Happened To The Caped Crusader?" where, upon having realized he has four turtle sons driven to grief-stricken despair about their places in the world, Splinter just fully invents bad guys and ninja cults (and dresses up as the shredder) just to Give Them Something To Do, it ended badly with one of the turtles dead, and the fic itself is taking place years later as the three surviving sons get together to try to make sense of their lives and figure out how to move past this.

kind of a mutagen bomb background where the event that mutated the turtles and splinter also mutated like 100,000 other people, so mutants are a fully recognized class of American citizen and it's also a lot harder to train your turtle sons to be literal ninjas when they are in fact fully expected to go to normal high school and do normal high school things. then again if you're allowed to have a passport as a rat and four turtles you can also travel to and from japan where your cousins and parents live lmao

the turtles are in their late 30s/early 40s but there's no apocalyptic wasteland or anything they've just been getting progressively weirder and weirder as the world moves on without making a space for them. mikey in particular is relating way too much to the Eve 6 guy. every time one of them moves out he ends up moving back in within a year because none of them has ever lived alone and the quiet is too much when they try.

another Dark Tower crossover, but what if Roland had 4 teenage mutant ninja turtle friends when he was a teenager. There's no way Susan Delgado dies in that timeline, there's too many child soldiers around for that to happen.

just a lil work rant

so i’ve been at my current job for nearly 4 years now. had my ups and downs like any job, got into management, and then stepped down due to personal issues.

i’m still in a position of “power” just with a bit less responsibilities.

anyways, for the past 7 months i’ve been on opening shifts. 3:30am-12:30pm 5-6 days a week. as awful as it sounds, i actually loved it. i loved being in the store for hours with no customers, having hours to myself to work without distractions, and getting home early.

but recently it’s reaaaally been affecting my mental health. i can’t do anything anymore. i’m going to sleep when my friends are getting off work, and our days off aren’t the same. we have to schedule “hang outs” weeks in advance. i literally wake up at 1:30 am, go to work, come home, eat, sleep, and do it again.

i’m so fucking lonely and quite honestly a bit depressed. i genuinely feel like i have no one (other than you lovely people, which i am forever grateful for. i just wish i could actually see you guys and hang out irl 😅)

and i know the easy way out would be to step down and become a regular crew member again, but i won’t be guaranteed full time hours, and i rly need that kind of paycheck.

HEY HI MY DAY’S GOING GREAT uhh so i’m in a play and I performed two shows today(I got to the theater at 9:30 am and left at 6:00 pm with a not so long break in between) so I’m fucking TIRED

this was the 7th show we put on(4 last weekend and 3 this weekend so far) and the final show is tomorrow !!

uhhh I’m looking forward to the play being over even though I’ll miss it because this shit is exhausting. also I’m looking forward to. you know what I don’t even need to say it(I am going to anyways. mcr5)
