May 7 2024 Just learned that yesterday marked a year since the first ‘are you’ was said between Jere and Bojan. This “joke” brings me way more joy than it should. aesthetical quality of the pitch change whenever they say it. The dorky smiles they send each other. The playfulness in the wording. Seeing a compilation with the ‘are you’s almost made me teary eyed. Man, I love these two more than is healthy. This phrase was my favourite vocal stim last year and will probably continue to be for 2024.

What is up with the amount of people constantly repeating “Jason was the first son” and Dick was a sibling/ partner. Dick was taken in at 8 while Bruce was in his 20s. That’s not an equal that’s a child. Dick might not have seen him as a dad at first, from his POV the relationship might have been more dynamic but from Bruce’s POV that was always his son. yes Bruce did the same things for Jason that he did with Dick, he took him out on a fishing trip, he made sure his home work was done, he parented him. What is the need to throw Dick and Bruce’s relationship under the bus to make room for Jason being the first son. It’s simply not true.
