In his spartan home in Israel's Negev desert, Mohamed Hassouna points to the spot where his seven-year-old daughter Amina was seriously wounded by a fragment of a projectile during Iran's attack on Israel. Amina, the only badly injured person recorded in Israel in this unprecedented attack by Tehran, was placed in intensive care with a serious head injury, said the Soroka hospital in the city of Beersheva. The little girl belongs to the Bedouin community, descendants of Muslim Arab shepherds who live in the Negev and are often denied many of the rights granted to other citizens. "We have no shelter," lamented Amina's father, who criticised Israeli authorities for leaving him and his family at the mercy of rockets and missiles. Many Bedouin communities have lived on the margins, and are often accused by authorities of settling on desert lands without official authorisation. While most Israelis have access to bomb shelters, many Bedouin communities are not allowed to build them. Their villages, on paper, do not exist, and no road signs lead to them.

Women of Sinai -Al-‘Arish
The Sinai dress is a masterpiece of art. Some dresses are predominantly red and are only worn by married women, while the blue ones are worn by widows. Dresses with a mixture of blue and red are an indication that the wearer has ended her period of mourning and is now ready to marry again.
The number of colors and the geometric designs embroidered by the women of Sinai on their dresses makes the latter a marvelous background for their kind of jewelry. It is the same as the Palestinian dress known as the Bir Sab' dress, with reference to the Palestinian area adiacent to the borders of the Sinai Peninsula.
The burgu', or veil, is an important piece of adornment worn only by the married Bedouin women of Sinai. It can almost be considered a piece of jewelry, for it is covered with quantities of hilyat, or round pieces of silver or white metal, or even gold, and sometimes old metal coins. The burgu is also sometimes adorned with a number of chains attached to both sides of the veil, ending in silver units covered with primitive designs stamped onto them, or ending with units of tube coral.
There are only two types of veil in Sinai, the short one worn by the women of the Akharsa tribe and with it a silver necklace or pendant, and the long veil worn by the women of the Bayyada tribe. Unmarried girls leave their faces uncovered so that young men may see their beauty and seek to marry them.
The Sinai Peninsula is inhabited by a number of Bedouin tribes who migrated to Egypt from the Arab peninsula and Palestine in ancient times. They settled, mixed, and intermarried with the different communities of inhabitants surrounding the peninsula, starting with the people of the Egyptian governorate of Sharqiya to the inhabitants of Bir Sab' in Palestine. The borders were open then and an active trade exchange flourished. Moreover, the Palestinian towns and cities were a market for Egyptian products. As a result of the intermarriages, there is a great resemblance between the jewelry worn in Sinai and the jewelry worn in Palestine, so much so that some jewelry workshops in Cairo specialize in producing the pieces of jewelry sold in Palestinian markets.

Uz's Charity Master List
As promised, a comprehensive list of places to donate to if you wanna help the people involved in the Israeli Palestinian conflict!
This is how it is gonna work. For the sake of safety, the main list include ONLY registered organization, i.e. ones that are registered in a governmental list. Due to the mass amount of organizations I decided to split it into categories: Solidarity & General, Israel, Gaza, West Bank, Bedouin, Miscellaneous.
Next to those lists, I added two more lists- Projects and Shit List. Projects will include project and fund raising that are not through an official organizations, so the risk factor is higher, and I will do my best to verify them before publishing. The Shit list for organizations you should avoid for various reasons.
For the sake of future edits, the reblog on the lists themselves will be turned off so I could edit and update the lists without having to deal with several versions going around. This post will serve as the Table of Contents and will be rebloggable.
Solidarity & General part 1 Solidarity & General part 2 Israel Gaza West Bank Bedouin Miscellaneous Projects Shit List
If someone is interested in submitting a charity to be added, you can send me an ask with the following details:
organization's name official government registration short history at least one source to prove it's legitimate official site if you would like to be credited in the post.
for projects and fund raising.
name details at least three sources to prove it's legitimate url if you would like to be credited in the post.
for Shit List
name details at least two sources to prove your claims if you would like to be credited in the post.
Submission that will pass verification will be added.

“They didn’t leave us air to breathe,” said Zawahri, 52, describing a months-long campaign of violence and intimidation that intensified in the last two weeks. First villagers were barred from grazing lands, and the spring, then violence reached their homes.
“They came into the village and destroyed houses and sheep pens, beat an 85-year-old man, scared our children. Slowly our lives became unlivable.”
A few men are trying to stay on amid the shells of homes, empty animal pens, smashed solar panels and broken windows, staking a fragile claim to their own village.
This was not an individual tragedy. Men from Angels of Peace are part of a broad, violent and very successful political project to expand Israeli control of the West Bank that has accelerated, say activists, since the 7 October attacks by Hamas launched a war with Israel.
The unlikely agents of this land grab are sheep and goats, herded by radical settlers on small outposts.
Taking land by building homes and communities on it is slow and expensive. Taking control of large swathes of dry hills needed to feed a herd of animals, by intimidating and isolating Palestinian shepherds and bringing in another herd, is much more efficient.
“This has been the most successful land-grab strategy since 1967,” said Yehuda Shaul, a prominent activist who is director of the Israeli Center for Public Affairs thinktank, and a founder of Breaking the Silence, an NGO that exposes military abuses in occupied areas.

ZIONIST COLONIAL SETTLERS RAID PALESTINIAN BEDOUIN COMMUNITY
Groups of Zionist colonial settlers on Wednesday raided a Palestinian Bedouin community in the occupied West Bank, in an attempted provocation of local Bedouin residents.
According to the General Supervisor of the Al-Badr organization, an organization dedicated to the Rights of the Palestinian Bedouin population, Hassan Mlihat, a group of Israeli colonial settlers stormed the Milhat Arab community on horseback and in vehicles on Wednesday evening.
The Zionist settlers were also accompanied by the Head of the Zionist colonialist West Bank Settlements Council, Yossi Dagan.
The abuse of Palestinians under occupation in the West Bank continued when the Israeli occupation forces arrested two young Palestinian men in the town of Azzun, located to the east of Qalqilya.
According to local reporting, Zionist occupation forces raided Azzun earlier on Wednesday evening, detaining and arresting the two men, Samer Mahmoud Shabita and Youssef Mazyad Salim, at an Israeli military checkpoint in the central part of the town, near the old mosque.
In further news of apartheid occupied Palestine, occupation bulldozers began construction of a Settler-only road just outside the town of Deir Istiya, northwest of Salfit
According to the Mayor of Derastiya, Firas Dhiab, Zionist bulldozers began razing Palestinian lands and uprooting olive trees belonging to the Muhammad Hussein Abu Nasser family in order to build a Settler-only road, as well as expanding the entrance to the illegal colony of Rafava.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army also detained and imprisoned a young Palestinian man named Shadi Al-Salameen from Al-Somou, south of Hebron, following occupation forces chasing the young man through the streets of the town before catching up to him and assaulting him. Al-Salameen suffers from a work-related foot injury he incurred a year prior.
