Defend and Protect Black Women!!

Misogynoir medical bias is KILLING Black women disproportionately. If you know even a little history of how Black women have been systematically dehumanized and objectified in the medical industrial complex -you'd know this is FAR too common and it's despicable. These medical professionals should be losing their licenses to practice medicine.

"Black women are three to four times more likely to experience complications during pregnancy and childbirth and die from these complications compared with white women. Additionally, infants born to Black women are two times more likely to be born premature (<37 weeks of gestation) compared with infants born to white women."

"In the 19th century, J. Marion Sims performed experimental surgery on enslaved Black women without their consent to develop a cure for vesicovaginal fistula. These experiments facilitated the generations of two key health care scripts about Black women in the context of reproductive health care: (1) it is acceptable to perform procedures on Black women without their consent; and (2) Black women have a high tolerance for pain."

"Although there is a plethora of research documenting Black women's experiences of racism and discrimination while navigating perinatal care, much less has been reported regarding the relationship between racism and clinical care through the lens of clinicians' caring for Black women during pregnancy and childbirth."

Back to the night you’re water broke the first the thing Paige did was run to you and hers room to get the baby bag and ran to start the car it was like watching the flash run back and forth almost making you dizzy.

She basically dragged you to the car and started driving like a maniac and you knew she had road rage but due to the situation you both were in she was speeding like hell.

If you don’t slow down you’re gonna kill us before we even get to the hospital you snapped holding on tight to your seatbelt.

S-sorry she slowed down just a little you rolled your eyes leaning back into your seat and rubbed your stomach as you felt another sharp pain.

She slammed on the brakes when she pulled up to the hospital quickly getting out to get you a wheelchair.

I’m gonna kill your mama you whispered to yourself holding on to your stomach opening the car door Paige ran back out and sat you in the chair and rushed you back inside.

Will you slow down you asked as she sighed you in I can’t she rushed out seeing that she was nervous you took her hand in yours.

We’re gonna be fine you told her trying to calm her down you both let go when the nurse to you and her to your room they had have you a gown to change in.

And told you that your doctor would be with you soon our parents on on the way Paige announced walking back into the room.

You softly smile at her you ready to meat your baby girl more then ready she walked over and rubbed your stomach.

It was an hour before you saw the doctor and it was another one before you were ready to deliver on your first push it was a struggle holding on tighter and tighter to Paige’s hand.

She was pretty sure it was gonna fall off and second you had to push a couple more times until the room was filled with your baby girl cry you leaned back and sighed smiling.

Paige let go of your hand shaking the pain away and slowly followed the doctors that had your baby making sure she was ok you watched her softly smiling your eyes widened when you saw her fall back almost hitting the floor when one of the nurses caught her.

You shoot up but slowly sat back when you felt a sharp pain in you’re stomach is she ok you panicked yeah just in shock the nurse checked as two more nurses came in with a extra bed for Paige.

You shook your head laughing here’s your baby girl the doctor walked up to you slowly lay the baby in your arms.

With tears in your eyes you softly rubbed her cheek with your thumb i-is she healthy you looked at your doctor she softly smiled back at you.

Yes you looked backdown at the baby in your arms still not believing that you were a mom.

Paige woke up with a sigh she shoot up when she realized were she was and what had happened she calmed down when she saw you holding your baby she quickly got up but paused still nervous.

You looked at her and softly smiled come meet your daughter.

She slowly made her way towards you finally at your side she looked down at the baby with tears in her eyes.

You wanna hold her you asked when you realize she was speech less she quickly nodded her head you slowly handed her the baby making sure she held her head right meet diamond Madison bueckers you softly smiled.

Her head snapped at you w-what diamond was your mom’s name and as you know Madison was Paige middle name.

She looked backed down at diamond smiling hi she softly said softly rubbing diamond face realization covered her face looking back at you were mom’s she mumbled.

After both your parents came you had fallen asleep trying to get some rest as Paige sat in the chair next to your bed with diamond in her arms not wanting to let her go.

She just got done talking multiple pictures of her and diamond when she got a notification from kk it was form instagram it was a picture from when you first got to the hospital you were in the wheelchair as Paige led you into the hospital.

Shocking news Paige bueckers and her girlfriend Leah rose seen at hospital answering all the rumors about Leah’s pregnancy.

Paige read the caption her heart beating rapidly worried about what would happen next for you and diamond.

You were let out the hospital after two days to recover you were now home some of the team came over to see the baby along with Paige and you’re parents.

She pulled out the same box she showed your dad and opened it will you marry me..all you could do was stare at the ring in shock there was a long pause before you answered.

You softly smiled..yes you shook your head the crowd and the team screamed and she Paige smiled back putting the ring on your finger she softly kissed you smiling everyone still screaming and multiple pictures were being taken them all going to be up on the internet by tomorrow morning.

You all ended the night with celebration for the big win and ofc your proposal.
