Oh my goodness! 😳 Thank you so much, this is such an incredibly nice thing to say!!! 🥺🥺🥺💙💙💙 I have to admit, especially since I started writing myself, I have not been reading as much as I should, or would like to, and there are many amazing stories out there I haven't managed to get to yet. But I will do my best! 💪

First of all, I saw that you just reblogged this, but I just can't not include @nicoroni's home is where the heart is (and my heart beats in your chest). (Barnaby/Kotetsu, M, 8K) What initially seems like a relatively light-hearted sequence of increasingly-funny ways Barnaby tries to confess to Kotetsu will, before it's done, grab your heart and squeeze and never, ever let go. This will live rent-free in my head forever.

Then we have My Bunny Valentine by @exquisitefrogprince (Barnaby/Kotetsu, T, 10K) which utterly captivated me and made me shake with the tension and the emotion, and has both an incredibly beautiful, almost ethereal interlude featuring Nathan and a gorgeous, precious, spun-sugar ending.

your eyes become a paradise by @hearjessroar (Barnaby/Kotetsu, T, 2K) manages to fit in such a small space an amazing, very human study of Kotetsu, and Barnaby, and Barnaby through Kotetsu's eyes, and Kotetsu reflected in Barnaby's eyes; and a small, but fundamental brave leap into a new, soft beginning for them together.

Some Things Are Worth the Wait by @mad-madam-m (Barnaby/Kotetsu, T, 2K + 1K) is a small series filled with soft, quiet love, respect, and the importance to both take some first steps, and wait patiently at the end of the path for what is most precious to come to you.

Now, in case you meant, as I hope, Taibani-as-in-the-fandom, and not just as the pairing... *rubs hands in glee*

The Nearness of You by @mad-madam-m (Ryan/Karina, T, 2K) is funny and adorable and features Karina being absolutely done, Ryan being a hopeless giant muffin, and a kick-ass tiny old lady. What more could you want?

Good Golly Miss Molly by @captaindeadpoet (Ryan/Karina, T, 9K) has Karina falling into domesticity, co-parenting Molly, and love with Ryan, in approximately but possibly not quite that order. It also contains one of my favorite atypical declarations of love.

And finally, because I always like to leave my favorite treat for last... FireSky, my absolute most beloved! ❤️💜

My Valentine, my demise by @gusutianzixiao (Keith/Nathan, T, 2K) pulled at my heart so freaking hard and I could not get enough. Nathan hides away from Keith on Valentine's Day to avoid having her heart broken. But of course her heart, instead of getting hurt, shows up on her doorstep, as giving and trusting and forgiving and caring as he ever is.

Hindsight is 20/20 by @saltedpin and Apathy (Keith/Nathan, T, 12K) features, uh... a Sky High photo shoot gone wrong. Very wrong. Or very, very right, depending on your, erm, perspective. And how much you enjoy what probably has to be one of Nathan's top 3 sights in the entire world. In any case, this is hilarious, but also tender and bold and with both Keith and Nathan being the absolute most.

second crack by @seaofolives (Keith/Nathan, T, 24K) is an actual FireSky coffee shop AU and if that isn't enough to entice you, it is also a fantastic, gripping view into heartbreak and slowly, consciously, gradually healing from it, with the help of a soft, bright hope for something new and fresh and absolutely beautiful, with someone who finally, unexpectedly fully gets you.

Certainly not Zoro to keel over and disappear inside his own clothing. Or Zoro is suddenly four and Sanji finds they have a lot more in common than he ever dreamed.

First, I'd like to rec my two OPLA KobyLu fics, which are part of a series. First one is "A Kiss under the Canopy", a romantic rewrite of the last KobyLu scene of OPLA S1 and second is "A Kiss in Loguetown", a follow-up in which is a little too supportive of Koby and Luffy's relationship.

Next, we have "Above and Beyond", it's a ZoSanUso story, featuring Fake Marriage to fool the Vinsmokes, and 'husband-training' that turns into more.

Then we have "The Snake Rescuer" a Drarry for the Harry Potter fandom. It features a lot of snakes and I think it's cute!

And last but not least, "The Skeleton who terrorized an Island of Zombies with his Singing", my Thriller Bark Brook piece (careful, it's angsty!)

I know the top 5 thing isn't necessarily about fanfic buuuuut... the five of your fics you're most proud of? 💙

Most proud of! Oh boy. That's a whole different ballgame from favorite. There are a few that I'm proud of just for finishing, but I tried to pick the ones that I'm proud of for a little more than just I WROTE MANY WORDS AND FINISHED! These are weird connections made and passion projects, things like that. There's a lot of Sean and Jessica here, and only 2 of the 5 are hotchgan. I'd say that's impressive on its own!

The Silence Drowns - A very dramatic re-imagining of the Foyet arc where Derek's tie to Foyet isn't forgotten but rather embellished. There is a lot of focus on Foyet here and I had a little too much fun with that - plus Jessica gets to be a total badass.

A Warm Place - I re-wrote my favorite episode of "ER" - the one with Doug and the kid in the storm drain? ("Hell and High Water" if you're ever in the mood for some truly epic 90s television - one of the best episodes of any show EVER) Only with Hotch and JJ and it was really really fun.

Stuck Like Glue - An ode to Hotch & Jessica's long friendship and summertime. The last thing little baby Sean says in the story was one of my villain origin story type moments. Like, AHA SO I AM TRULY AN EVIL GOBLIN. And that is why I'm proud of this story.

One Way Glass - Something about taking these one-off characters and spinning them into Hotch's webs is fun for me. This one was a riff on him telling Roy Colson that he'd have full access to the BAU if he held off on running the story about the Reaper being back. I take great pleasure in weaving these webs. Is it a little over dramatic? Yeah, probably. But I like a good dramatic flourish to my stories. I'm all about over the top.

The Powers of Time - Something about the format here, taking Hotch as a protective older brother and weaving that with Sean as an adult being his own kind of protective after Foyet's attack...I don't often finish and story and think Damn I'm Smart but I kind of felt that way here.

You are one of the only people in the tarlos fandom who had been consistently nice to a tiny blog like me. (Even tho we don't really talk lol) I'm usually quite afraid to post my writing (bc there is so much talent in this fandom, I tend to get lost in it and then get discouraged with the lack of engagement) but you make me feel good and a little more confident when I read your tags on my posts from ages ago. Tiny blog? Pish posh! I know fandom generally operates on this implicit hierarchy where certain blogs are considered "big blogs," but I personally don't see it that way. We are all here shouting about the same show and loving the same characters, making us peers in this community. The LS fandom has an abundance of talent when it comes to content creation (gif sets, stories, artwork, video edits) and that pile of riches includes you and your work. I'm grateful we share this fandom space and that you chose to bless us with your writing.

Just in case some folks haven't had the joy of discovering your stories yet, I want to take this opportunity to share three of my favorites:

Something To Do-- appropriate since we are entering fiancé era this season lol. Loved this plot executed in the 5+1 format.

You Like My Costume?-- a different avenue to give us Firefighter!Carlos lol, and it was so. much. fun.

Of Will and Wildflowers--- when you mentioned my tags on previous posts, I knew you meant this fic because it is (imo) one of the best AUs in this fandom and I recall having zero chill every time you posted 😂. I mean??? Tarlos + Bridgerton-inspired universe? Exceptional, and as I sit here reflecting on it, all I can think about is how the yearning in this fic was top-tier. It is underrated, and I take that personally, tbh. If you were to consider a follow-up, I would be first in line to read it!

If you feel inspired this upcoming season (no pressure), I hope you resume sharing stories with us again so I can continue adding to my list of favs! (True Blood AU when 👀?? Yes, I still think about this one. I did not forget!)

On Espionage and Prophecy (or How to Accidentally, but Wholly, Fall in Love With a Soho Bookseller) by RockSaltAndRoll (E, 133k)

1941 is the London Blitz and the year that MI5 really comes into its own with the now infamous ‘double cross’ system. Crowley recruits Aziraphale to double cross a double crosser and Aziraphale takes to espionage like a duck to water. Danger, hijinks, and sex ensue.
