🦈 Daily Shark Fact: 🦈
Bull Sharks have a unique ability to control the rate at which they digest food, and it comes in handy for their survival! If they're in a situation where there's not enough food in the environment, the sharks digest slower than usual so they require less food. They can also throw up food on demand to distract predators.

Could you post about bull sharks please? They're my favorite 🙂🌊
Of course!
Carcharhinus leucas or the Bull Shark is one of the very few sharks that can survive in both salt water and freshwater! Their cells require salt, without it the shark's cells will lyse (burst and die). To prevent this, a Bull Shark's kidneys recycle salt and they have specialized glands to also aid in salt retention.
Most sharks have around 15 rows of teeth, but the Bull Shark has 50 rows! They also have the strongest bite force compared to size out of all the sharks at 5,914 Newtons (1,330 lbs/ft). In comparison, a Great White has a bite force of approximately 4,000 Newtons.
Thanks for the ask!
