@erinwills22 is an enormous blessing to me. She's also an enormous blessing to our clients. ~ Here are the two of us (second/third from left) volunteering with @goreparkoutreach this past Saturday. It's an amazing organization that each week, gives out hundreds of hot meals, operates a food bank with everything you can think of including fresh fruit and vegetables, and @being_margaret tells me this week there was even a barber, cutting hair and giving straight razor shaves in the park. It was just the most heartwarming thing seeing so many people come together to ensure those struggling to survive in this ruthless economy (housed or not) are treated with dignity, love and a smile. ~ Erin doesn't work *for* me. She works *with* me. She is a teammate in everything we do, including immediately raising her hand to help with work like we did shoulder to shoulder together in Gore Park Saturday. ~ If you need us, rest assured she cares for, and about each of our clients. This plug pops open by the touch of a finger when needed and is closed the same when it not needed.
