Eddie and Wayne are babysitting Eddie’s little cousin (from Wayne’s own found family). Eddie doesn’t really mention it because he just doesn’t think about it. Steve comes over one evening while Eddie is in the shower and Wayne is getting ready for work to find a baby sleeping in a little pack’n’play in the living room. Wayne tells him her name, Sloane, and Steve just. Loves her instantly. He sits on the couch to wait for Eddie, but a few minutes after Wayne leaves, Sloane starts to get fussy. Steve hasn’t had a ton of experience with babies, but he’s held them before, so he picks her up and starts walking her around so she calms down. She does calm down, and Eddie walks out of his shower and stops, just watching Steve. There’s a little pang in his heart for the sort of life he doesn’t think they’re gonna be able to have. Babies, a home of their own they can have without fear. But he walks over to Steve and wraps his arms around his waist, head on his shoulder, and kisses Steve’s shoulder gently, knowing Steve’s thinking the same thing. They look down at Sloane together and wonder what the future holds.

ive had duolingo since 2020, around the pandemic and i started learning french but i stopped when i lost my streak and then began my inconsistency that eventually, i would just remember it every few months. around maybe last year, i remembered the app again and since i barely finished the first course i was taking (french) i decided that i should start a new course and that began the spanish lessons. i didnt make it past the first point on that one because again, inconsistent me cant keep it up daily.

Now flashforward to now, ive created a new account and i am now learning italian.

So about my post-game stories (again), I got a sudden thought last night.

Basically once you beat the game (or my imaginary version of it), there are three post-games stories to play.

They can be played in any order. Once they're done, the ultimate post-game story becomes available. It'll mostly be tied to the things discovered in the story with Weylin, Roy, Linitaa and Délia.

Until now, I was simply imagining that all three stories would end with the teams going home, and then they'd discuss things and have to get ready for a new journey the next year.

But what if instead of that, Weylin and the trio (and Weylin's parents with them) never come home and no one gets news from them again, because something has happened? What about ending that story with a cliffhanger? And so Lylia, Edan, Ramsey and Luu Kah go home and get worried as time goes and eventually decide to go and search for them.

But right now I admit this idea is more about spicing things up than a real necessity, cause this story is still pretty vague in my head 😂
