Welcome to a long one.
The Ciwan empire is the fastest-growing sloman power ever since the war of continents and the first to discover a form of gunpowder (thanks to their enemies being uniima lls who have been using it long before).
But even with that advantage (among slomen), the Ciwan armies are iconic for a different reason. That being the Kuiqua-trained units that Sun-cutters come from.
These units have traditionally existed for hundreds of years but are slowly just becoming a symbol for show because of the political and battling changes in the world. However, you will still see them from time to time ripping people to pieces.
Just like the majority of sloman military groups the unit relies on intense teamwork, they need constant communication and preplanned routes to deal with the opposing strategy.
The simplified average scene might look something like this:
In one unit of 30 members, three strikers (Sun-cutters) make a plan with their scholars and commanding Fire-catchers (Seconds leaders). After getting to the war zone they wait for their window in which some members spy or communicate with deeper army spies. When they know their target and best strategy they get in. The strikers use hand gestures, clicks, or whistles to save energy while the Seconds forward the orders to the rest with "ground's" (war language), wooden whistles see more use in very large units. Many times, however, often just seeing the movement of the sun-cutters is enough for the whole group to act.
Strikers will sometimes wait behind their heavies (Beasts) if their force isn't necessary (units can be as few as 5 members or as many as 50, the two extremes work very differently). Once the situation calls for it, they bullet their targets, often stabbing talons first and tearing muscles in a swift motion. This may happen multiple times as other unit members engage in direct battle with the target/s or disarm them with specialized tools. Kuiqua units both kill and capture, having healing supplies on their heavies if they need to make sure their target doesn't bleed out (or their own soldiers).
All members of the Kuiquan unit are priests of different levels but all are priests of the dead (ones that speak for their ancestors rather than gods). It's believed lands conquered with these soldiers present will flourish with life. Many former battlegrounds have turned into gardens and crop fields (hopefully they don't keep this up when landmines are invented).
To the image. What you see is a small variety of soldiers. Beasts and fire-catchers have other names and features in their armor that they are known for based on all their roles that can often switch between fights. Only Sun-cutters truly have one name.
Fire-catchers are also sometimes strikers in training and may move up if they prove themselves. Though, more often Sun-cutters rise from the ranks of regular taloned soldiers with enough talent.

As mentioned in the image, Sun-cutters tend to be very prideful. Their helmets are an impractical mess that pushes their ears forward. A Ciwan Sloman's ears are very important to them and if they are damaged it's a career-ending event. Still, almost no strikers bind their ears, not wanting to be shamed for cowardness.

Btw, Kuiqua is the city Neal lives in. He has met or been arranged to meet these units multiple times since Neal himself is stuck classified as a fancy soldier. They are also not uncommon around temples, small talk is required.

my apologies if this has been answered before, i tried to look for an already existing post on your blog but couldn't find it: but what's your opinion on telehealth veterinary practices? yesterday i saw an ad for a vet who you can just video call and it just seems very strange to me. vets physically assessing (like touching and feeling) an animal is ingrained in my head as the best way to go about things. just seeing a video of someone's pet doesn't feel right at all. what's your take on this stuff?

The only way I can see it working is when there is a vet or at least a vet staff (including but not limited to vet tech, vet nurse, vet assistant) on the receiving end. They have to at least know how to examine the animal and what to look for according to recommendation of the vet on the other end.
Consultation is a normal thing that vets do. Most if not all vets have experienced contacting a specialist of a specific issue to ask for their help over distance.
There is no way tele-medicine can work without a vet or vet staff on both ends. A layman cannot recognize signs of disease, or they cannot communicate what they see for lack of vocabulary to describe what they're seeing.
I'll give you an example, most examinations require the vet to use all the senses except taste. They look, they listen, they smell, they touch (palpate). They may need to collect samples from the animal to find out what's wrong. These actions cannot be performed by laymen. At the very least, a vet staff is required.
Another example, I am an ophthalmology focused vet (cannot call myself specialist due to technical issue), most often I get consultation requests from general practitioners. They would tell me the result of their examinations and sometimes with photos. They would usually ask for my diagnosis list and what to do next. I might ask for more info, for example : because an eye is a 3D structure, a flat photo might not tell me enough. I would usually ask for a short clip of the eye in different angles. I might ask for more tests like Fluorescine stain (which the other person must know what it is and how to do it) I might ask them to perform some reflex tests (which they have to know how to do) and once enough info are compiled, I can give them the most likely diagnosis and recommend their next plan. If they do not have enough tools, my recommendation sometimes would be to send the patient to me (or to other specialist).

This website and app have been in development for around a year, and I've been using it just as long. Its honestly my favorite way to organize my processes. You've got a section for your basics, like the character, series, budget, and deadline, and of course a place to put your tasks like what to buy and what to make. I love that the tasks can be organized by what part of the cosplay it pertains to, like weapon or helmet or pants, whatever you want! Theres also a nifty view for just the things you need to buy, ideal for shopping trips so your list is all in one place.

I've been using this app to help me work on Biker from Hotline Miami. Being able to go step by step through each piece has been so satisfying, and I can store progress photos in the app as evidence of my work if I were to ever do a cosplay contest! (Which I might be we'll see)

Another fun thing you can do with those progress photos? Theres a built-in social media feed where you can post your progress, including sharing your techniques and materials! Progress photos on Instagram can be hit or miss for engagement, but in a place built around progress, it makes sense to have, and I've found some real neat work!

On your profile, each cosplay has a page, where again you can add materials and techniques, as well as share links and even your shopping list. Good cosplayers don't gatekeep!

Wrong type of aspec blog, but as an autistic former community college anthropology student here’s my two cents:
I think it’s possible for an autistic person to be a good neolithic hunter, but there’d be some challenges. Here’s a few things you might consider if you’re writing an autistic character as a stone age hunter:
Since hunting as a group requires non-verbal communication skills I think that could put an autistic person at a disadvantage. It could be mitigated by a lot of preplanning and deciding on specific hand signals beforehand, but we might miss things because we avoid eye contact.
A common autistic trait is a heightened sensitivity to senses, which would be a mixed bag in hunting. On one hand, they might be better at tracking animals through their senses, but hunting environments may also be overwhelming to an autistic person, especially with the added stress of being responsible for your community’s food and just the adrenaline rush that someone is bound to have while hunting. I think it would be interesting to see how an autistic hunter would respond to different hunting environments. Like participating in a buffalo run vs hunting a deer in a forest with a spear would be very different experiences.
Speaking of weapons, I do think the type would matter more with an autistic person. Motor difficulties are common so I think the weapon will matter. They might not be great at coordinating with a knife, but we might hyperfixate on something like archery and get really good at it. Then there’s types of hunting that don’t require a weapon at all, like the buffalo run I mentioned before. That one often involved riding on horseback, which would be another interesting dynamic because strong bonds with animals is another autistic trait that could be explored. One time my class got to use atlatls and I was the only non-athlete to hit the target, though I’m not sure if that was an autistic thing.
I definitely think autistic people would be in the planning aspec of hunts, we tend to be creative and do a lot of thinking (as evidenced by this response lmao). That and making/designing tools. Of course if we really got into it the perfectionism would be another struggle, but that’s something that’s bound to happen with pretty much anything any job or activity we enjoy. It would be interesting to see how they’d deal with the anxiety in that situation.
From my understanding humans would’ve only worked a couple hours a day then, which is a lot more manageable for autistic people than the 40+ hour weeks of today. It would give us a lot of breaks, which is great for preventing meltdowns and burnout.

Andrew killed his first monster at twelve years old. It was a flederprey while under direction at a training camp, and his parents celebrated it when he got home. The youngest of three, Andrew’s achievement was viewed as the first step of an unstoppable future. In the early days, that seemed primed to be true, although when his older brother Joseph eloped with another hunter at twenty-three, no one else seemed as betrayed by it besides fifteen-year-old Andrew. The plan for a trio became a duo, and the two siblings trained up for adulthood and the path in front of them. Andrew became as good at reading his sister Carrie’s mind until she too wanted to start a family. Working on his own wasn’t easy, but Laurie–as he’d been known at camp as a teen and soon became known professionally–got used to it, teaming up when he needed to with friends, cousins, and anyone else he needed to. He became the fun uncle to his siblings’ five collective children, even if he didn’t see them as often as he wanted. Laurie felt his twenties weighing on him and wondered on occasion if he was getting slow, but everything always seemed to work out. That was how life worked.
Death was also how life worked in a family of hunters. Maybe the Laurent family had gotten weak and complacent in their luck. Cancer took their mother and a heart attack ended their father’s life not long after. They hadn’t faced brutality in a generation. They hadn’t been prepared to lose Joseph and his thirteen-year-old daughter in one disastrous hunter trip meant to help train her up. Laurie should have been there to support the rest of his family, but he threw himself into his work, going after creatures with reckless abandon like it would bring his family back. It didn’t.
Within the year, Laurie had exhausted himself and felt driven to the brink of something. He couldn’t do this anymore, but he couldn’t walk away either. That wasn’t how this worked. In his drifting, he ended up in Wicked’s Rest. A known hotbed for the supernatural, he figured he’d find a little work and keep going. Instead he found The Grit Pit. The work wasn’t quite what Laurie had expected. Tending to creatures and helping keep them fed and alive wasn’t something he’d ever thought possible for himself, but the money was good. It was nice to have a place to land, a steady source of income, and a job where he didn’t have to wonder what would happen if he messed up. His own life was really the only thing at risk, given that everything here had to have an expiration date in the pit anyway. The close proximity to more sentient creatures had felt rather distasteful, but Laurie tried to think of them like simply smarter versions of the beasts who couldn’t talk.
Generally he tries not to think about any of it too. Laurie’s not looking for a new life philosophy, just a change of pace. For the last two years, he’s found it.
Character Facts:
Personality: Proactive, hardworking, firm, cocky, obtuse
While he’s never been the type to turn down a job, Laurie has always favored going after beasts over the more sentient creatures out there. Sirens can be so tricky, and werewolves require such careful planning. Things that think in simpler terms were always easier to handle on his own. It’s made his job now that much easier of a transition because he understands the nuance of those creatures that can’t communicate their needs, even if he’s had to figure them out from a new angle. If anything, it’s the proximity to shapeshifters and other sentients that’s something Laurie has needed to get used to.
Every creature requires a unique toolkit, and Laurie’s always preferred to be prepared for anything. In addition to a kit of tools he kept in the car until needed, Laurie always used to carry a gun and two knives (one silver, one iron) on himself at all times. Habits die hard, and that’s still true, even if theoretically the creatures will stay on the other side of the bars. He’s had to get up close and personal too often to believe he doesn’t need them.
Laurie has only killed one creature at the Grit Pit. Afraid he was going to lose his leg when a hellhound managed to bite him and wouldn’t let go, Laurie lashed out with practiced ease and killed it. The conversation had afterwards made it very clear that if Laurie acted so “foolishly” again, a leg would become the least of his concerns.
He still favors his left leg when he runs thanks to that hellhound encounter.

Without a mandated vaccine the military will be incapacitated by a massive number of Covid cases. That is what Russian oligarchs want, that is why they buy Republikkkan politicians.
When you join the military you are required to literally every vaccine known to humankind and then even more if you deploy out of the country. George Washington began the practice during the War for Independence.
Republikkkans are all about feeding red meat to the base and they don’t care how many suffer or die or what damage is done to the country by their reckless actions. Very few current Republikkkan politicians have ever served and with each passing generation fewer and fewer rural Confederates serve. Repubs and rednecks think they control the military but in fact it’s always been predominantly working class urban whites from the north until Vietnam in the 60’s and 70’s. Since Vietnam it’s been a mix of those blue collar urban whites and “minorities.” Non-whites serve in numbers far greater than their percentage of the population. Further it’s estimated that 75% of military members vote Democratic.
What we are seeing in regards to refusing Covid vaccinations isn’t going to end with just that disease. The deplorable MAGA’s are already refusing ALL vaccinations. There have been polio outbreaks and there currently is a large measles outbreak here in the US. Some of these may start with unvaccinated immigrants, as Repubs claim, but diseases are taking root with poor white southern and rural Republikkkan conspiracy theorists and ignorant MAGA’s. This all began in the UK in 1996 when that crackpot doctor started the vaccines create autism hoax. Even though it’s been debunked and he admitted he fabricated it, it has taken route with the poorly educated crowd. Again southern and rural communities have had their educational systems plundered for decades by Republikkkan politicians and billionaires with for profit charter schools (DeVos et al).
So many of us on the left never dig deeper than the surface, that is they choose politicians based on personality or identity politics, I’ll vote for the person who belongs to my group or is a strong ally of my group. When you scratch below the surface and begin doing opposition research you’ll find that the Republikkkans are running a highly effective and hierarchical political machine. The Republikkkan party or GOP is a tool of the top 2% and big multinational businesses. They have been running the most sophisticated and organized political organization since the late 70’s that the world has ever seen. Billionaires and corporations have a vast network of right-wing foundations that fund everything most of you are against. They panicked when Hillary try to exposed this “vast right-wing conspiracy” and labeled her nuts which eventually took root in the American psyche. Today there are articles, books, documentaries, and even college courses that examine this vast right-wing conspiracy.
Ted Cruz, MTG, BoBo, Graham, etc are secretly planning a campaign against you. They are literally given legislation to introduce into Congress by the Koch and Walton families to name a few. They are given daily talking points and daily targets. Their “celebrity personalities” and media outlets are telegraphing the exact same messages, often word for word, every single day. Koch, Walton, etc pay an army of conservative lawyers and scholars to write and disseminate things they want made into law or policy. For decades the NRA has been paying a small army of lawyers to create a base of litigation that can be called upon as case history in future cases in front of higher courts. Occasionally they give the base some culture war things like expanding access to guns or banning abortion but that is just to keep the masses voting for Republikkkans. Their ultimate goal is unrestrained capitalism with legislation that preserves, protects, and expands their ability to amass wealth and power. In a few decades they will remake America into a clone of Brazil where the wealthy live in luxury inside gated compounds while the rest of us are literal peasants living in poverty and disease in favelas on the outskirts of society.
Do your own research. You can begin by googling ALEC (American Legislative Exchange Council), the Federalist Society, and the Heritage Foundation to name a few. It’s a non-stop 24/7/365 war against Dems, unions, the poor, the middle class, the working class, people of color, lgbt, the handicapped, intellectuals, urban dwellers, coastal elites, immigrants, Jews/Catholics/Muslims and any non-evangelical or Protestant religion and many more groups.
This last part is a hard truth. While the Nazism, racism, discrimination, dominionism, and general bigotry and hatred is very real-it is not their ultimate agenda. Their ultimate goal is the accumulation of wealth and power at any cost. The bigotry and culture war nonsense are just tools to create an army of Republikkkan voters, foot soldiers for the right-wing. The Republikkkan politicians, deplorable racists, rural deploranles, militias, conspiracy theorists, and garden variety red state hicks are just pawns, tools, a means to an end. Multimillionaires, billionaires, and corporations only care about the color green. Don’t let them divide us with their lies and propaganda. Follow the money.
This is a war. We must defeat their pawns in elections, battle their foot soldiers in the streets, and most importantly prevent the oligarchs from buying our government.

It has been a long process.
I am thorough. I did some serious research and took some risks (large investments for research).
I decided to equip myself with the most thorough and relevant/ applicable skill set by studying in some small apprenticeships, I studied formally and in my own time, and served my 10.000 hours by helping hundreds of clients save a lot of money on their studio set ups.
I've actually served my ten thousand hours more than once if we count that my achievements as a musician, music producer and construction professional have been racking up for many years…
I am now writing the book that will teach the average producer how to do what I do and treat rooms the right way!

Why does it matter?
Why does Room Acoustics matter? Because in an untreated room, you are listening more to the room itself than what is actually coming out of your speakers!
Acoustic treatment is a tool like any other, and an important one at that. You can save a lot of time with a well treated room!
People don't even realize how much of an effect proper acoustics treatment can have because it was not commercially available before.
How common is it nowadays for electronic music producers to mix and master their own work?
I would say around 90% of electronic music producers mix their own music. This is less in the area of "modern singer songwriter" and more in the area of "producer/ DJ".
In the professional arena, even those that do their own mixdowns do not master their own tracks. That is a folly.

What is the most common problem that you encounter in untreated rooms/home studios?
The most common problems we encounter in untreated rooms/ home studios are that the client has already wasted some of their budget on far lesser performing acoustic elements. For example, I quite often see clients with thin (10-15cm) absorbers in a music production environment.
Also quite often, I see people fetishizing the "cloud placement" absorbers for no real reason, as well as buying diffusers before they have taken care of the low frequency resonances.
This is all because of the misinformation spread around freely about room acoustics even on reputable forums.
Tell us a bit about the measuring process, is it exciting and adventurous? What sounds are you using?
To be honest, the measuring itself is not so exciting, and in fact highly predictable. However, getting to help clients with their sacred spaces is highly rewarding.
We would normally use full frequency spectrum sine wave sweeps.
Do you trust your ears or your visualizer?
Well, you don't really hear sub bass as much as feel it so…
That said, I have relative pitch from playing instruments and I've looked at a lot of data so when I go into a room and hear a kick drum that is activating a 60Hz resonance in the room, I hear the B note…
But I would say I use both, and always trust the data because the data cannot lie. Our psychoacoustic perception can and does!

Why are the KYE absorbers called King Kong?
Because they are the most effective on the market! They are also the most affordable solution to achieving the 80/20 rule of high end results, so they required a legendary name!
The build quality is also far superior to the rest of the market. These monkeys are big boned.

Is it all about the bass traps, i. e. fix the bass, fix the room?
Due to space and budget limitations, absorption is almost ALWAYS the most important factor in the control of room acoustics.
The theory behind the system we follow is to always use the input budget to prioritise fixing the low end (thereby fixing most of the rooms’ other issues along the way). Low frequency control is a widely misunderstood and somewhat mysterious practice.
How to do it properly? Start with a low reaching velocity absorber and hit the bass broadband/wideband as much as possible until exhausted. Again, that’s how the pro’s do it and it’s just logical. If our budget stops there, then that is the best use of it.
In order to achieve a more even reverb time across the frequency spectrum, you should use the same traps for both functions (“bass trapping” diagonally over corners and “early reflections” covering certain wall areas).
Do you think it’s possible to trust digitally adjusted monitor speakers in an untreated room, with software like Sonarworks for example?
Sonarworks in particular is a very contemporary software package that works beautifully as this piece of the puzzle. It is almost a matter of taste. Sonarworks and other digital solutions do not compensate for the dimension of TIME - therefore resonances must be solved first- but it is recommended as a final step after the bass traps handle the room’s resonances. Without adding the bass traps first, you may end up in a messy and confusing situation!
What is the ideal listening level for mixing, producing, mastering?
Around 85 dB SPL.
Should audiophiles who only enjoy listening to music care about room treatment, too?
Only if they want to hear the music without the room. Again, in an untreated room, you are listening to the room more than the music because of the way the room "colours" the sound.
Can a music producer not just use headphones and ditch room acoustics altogether?
Acoustic treatment will save a producer A LOT of time. Most processes can be done maybe 50% faster if endless referencing is not needed and they can fully trust that what they hear is what is coming out of the speakers. It's of course optional. Some producers still seem to prefer to struggle on without it! Ignorance is bliss…
Headphones will not create the soundstage achievable with a properly acoustically treated room, which is not even that hard to achieve thanks to the innovative processes suggested by Kiss Your Ears. I would always suggest to someone that works primarily in headphones to go check their mixes in a properly treated room.
As an ideal fantasy, what would be the best room form for linear sound reproduction? Would it be an anechoic chamber?
I guess technically speaking, an anechoic chamber would lead to the most "linear" sound but looking for a linear SPL is not always the most important aspect of a room's sound.

What is one of the worst tips about studio acoustics that‘s floating around the internet, on YouTube, etc?
Wow, where do I start? Most of the "tips" online are problematic in some way or other.
I'll give you some blunt statements!
Tri-traps are an ineffective design.
Cylinder traps don't work properly.
Foam based products are inferior.
Putting diffusers at the back of the room (lowest axial mode) is a bad choice.
Those are four things that almost all acoustic treatment companies are getting wrong on a daily basis!
How much does it matter what kind or brand of monitor speakers producers use? Is more expensive more better? Can you recommend good monitor speakers (for different budgets)?
Putting expensive monitors in an untreated room is a false economy. You would be better off treating the room to a good level and getting old 80s Hi Fi speakers from ebay!
An old industry rule of thumb is that you should spend as much on your acoustic treatment as your monitors.
If you are prepared to spend some cash, I think HEDD offer incredible value in their lower range. The HEDD type 07s are amazing for the price when you want to spend around € 2.000.
Then when you want to upgrade and spend more, like € 6.000: I recommend the Adam S3Vs… For the price, those are next level. But they put out some sub bass power, so proper bass treatment is essential.

Great question! There are a couple of reasons:
1)) One of the reasons that Big Bangs exist, and something that makes them so special, is the fact that they build a community in their respective fandoms. Whether you are writing, illustrating, or beta reading for the Big Bang, you are guaranteed to be connected with at least one other person in the wolfstar fandom. This makes the Big Bang as much about community as it is about the fanfiction and the fanart.
2)) Beta readers make fics better! Even if they're just reading along, yelling in happiness, often you will get feedback about a fic you don't expect. Maybe a beta reader points out something they really like and that you hadn't planned to expand on, but that feedback makes it clear some readers might like to see more if it.
Sometimes a beta reader is actively editing as they read along, which can be super useful, especially for long fics! Maybe they catch a few typos you missed. Maybe they help workshop a point where you got stuck. Maybe they make a suggestion you don't like, and decide not to take, but it makes you think again about how a particular scene is set up or a particular sentence constructed, and why it might have seemed confusing or incomplete. However a beta reader jumps in, you're guaranteed to learn something.

2. What’s your total ao3 word count?
139,299!
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Bungou Stray Dogs, Haikyuu, and Trigun lately, but if you go back far enough in my fic career you’d find Hetalia, Black Butler, Doctor Who, Soul Eater, and who knows what else I’ve forgotten.
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
First Scar, Rough Nights, Last Young Renegade, Wish You Were Here, and Time Enough.
However if we ask instead what my favourites are it would have to be:
All My Love (Bungou Stray Dogs, fem soukoku, boarding school au, soulmate au but a bit to the left)
When the Sun Goes Black (Bungou Stray Dogs, soukoku, canon divergence, the one where Corruption leaves Chuuya blind)
this masterpiece will (tear you apart), (BSD, soukoku, canon divergence, the one where Dazai gets kidnapped and traipses through alternate realities)
Wish You Were Here, (BSD, soukoku, the one that splits from canon after Dead Apple and Chuuya wrestles with Arahabaki in his psyche. Yes I’m aware Arahabaki isn’t canonically sentient or sapient but look I wrote this before we knew that for sure and also it’s a fun concept)
and Where is your heart in all this, Nicholas? (Trigun, Vashwood kinda, the one with attempts at a dom/sub thing, attempts at care taking, and absolutely no attempts at real communication on what anyone actually needs or wants.)
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Yes, always! I love the community aspect of sharing things online and I absolutely adore when people talk to me about the things I’m already vibrating over.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Uhhhhhhh probably Home With You since it’s about a twenty year old dying of a degenerative disease but to be fair most of my work is angsty and picking an angstiest is likely up to interpretation and perspective. (In other words let me know which one you would call my saddest if you have an opinion!)
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
See I don’t really do happy endings in much of a traditional sense, but I’m gonna say Perfect Disaster. They get their shit figured out in that one!
8. Do you get hate on fic?
Not any that I recall!
9. Do you write smut?
Not this year I haven’t but generally yes I do!
10. Do you write crossovers?
Nope, haven’t touched crossovers in any sense really since I was twelve, they just never really were my jam.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I’m aware of!
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Not that I know of!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Technically yes. However it was never posted anywhere and I would massively overhaul it if I ever did try to get it out publicly.
14. What’s your all-time favourite ship?
I feel like I’m obligated to say soukoku lol, who else has taken up seven years of my life?
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but probably won’t?
Let’s be honest, probably the other two parts of Tell Me Pretty Lies. My sister wants the Kuroo/Akaashi fic but it just was not working when I tried it and it’s been years now since I’ve written haikyuu.
16. What are your writing strengths?
Internal dialogue I think! Thought processes and poetics, I think there’s often nice bits of cadence and rhythm to my work!
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Plot. I very rarely plot out fully and more often than not write without any plan at all, or only a vague outline of one. So anything requiring heavy lining up is often not there as much as I’d like. I’m a very go with the flow sort of person when it comes to the specifics in fics (which is funny because I can control everything in fic, but the only time I plan and plot consistently is in ttrpgs when I have to guess at what my friends will do)
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
If you do it well it’s a tool, if you do it badly you seem a fool. I use it on occasion, and I use it often in live play roleplaying, but time and place and reason.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
I think it was Black Butler back on ye old Wattpad but my sister insists it was Inuyasha since my “original fiction” as a kid was heavily ripping off my favourite anime at the time of writing it.
20. Favourite fic you’ve written?
Answered kinda above but honestly I’m really still so fond of When the Sun Goes Black, and All My Love/Nothing Ever Counts. I feel like my prose was just really very good in those!
